statusThere's the obvious map that should work.... Just press select!... But since I'm not too sure about what you're asking, I would assume that you have already done that. There is an advanced godly all-knowing map that can be obtained after you kill captain slag. That map tells you pretty much everything.
Like was mentioned before, use select for the 'obvious' map. i don't know about some, but it sure as hell wasn't obvious for me. i don't read the controls before starting, i learn as i go, and it took me till i was over half way through the game to realise there was a map using select... as for this map, there's no legend, and it can be a bit hard to see (might be my tv settings though) so i'd suggest standing on one robo-wing pad, to see what it looks like on your map. once you know what it looks like, you'll be able to spot the rest. i think because you are forced to take off in a certain direction, it means the next is in that general direction, but i could be wrong on that...
Once you kill Captain Slag, Rusty Pete gives you a MAP THAT HAS ALL OF THE TREASURES OF EACH PLANET. Go back to Planet Korteg and use the map by pressing select. You then find the treasures and finish the mission.
