I got it earlier on, and it hasn't sanitized ANY of my food so far.
You get 1 more hp per 5 hp on the item
i.e. 5 hp food = 6 hp 20hp = 24hp 10hp= 12hp

statusIt doesn't actually remove the radiation from food, as you'd expect. Instead, it increases the health that you receive from eating it.
