statusAs far as I know there are some differences between saves for Blu-Ray and downloadable version of the GT5P, and your problem may be caused by the fact that you try to use unsupported type of save for your version of the game.
Besides you must check for wich spec of GT5P is that save you try try to use - is it is for Spec III, then you must firs upgrade your game to that Spec, and then use that downloaded save...
(of course I don't have to remind you that the localization of your game is also important)
its most likely because with each update they slightly changed the savedata as more cars were added etc. If you get the most recent update and then download the save to your PS3 it should work.
I have the PSN version of GT 5 and it won't load saves from people who uploaded it from the CD version. It will only load uploads from the PSN version.
