Asked on: 10/25 10:07AMhow do you get the cheat codes to work? I tried different speeds of entering them, but nothing works. I heard that there was an update to download for the game that made the codes work, but I'm not sure if that's true. Do you have to make it to a certain point before you can use them? Do you have to enter them ridiculously fast or slow?

Thankyou for helping, but yes, I know it's at the pause menu. My question is if you have to enter them exceptionaly fast or slow, or do they only work after a certain point in the game, ie. Second playthrough, after chapter 1...

yes, I know, I use the same cheats that are posted here and it is the US version. I'm only an hour or so into the game (Little big planet stole the stage and I haven't picked dead space back up yet). Do they only work after a certain point int the game? like after you're able to access the store thing where all the downloadable content goes?
Pause the game, then use the cheats

statusI have the same problem with cheats not working here.
As I do have the UK version, I suspect that the cheats listed are only working for the US version of the game.
Deadspace:Downfall is supposed to have some cheat codes for the game in the extras and I will try that later tonight, hoping that it contains codes for the UK version.
Go to the start menu then enter the cheats have you tried that?
I started using cheats around the end of chapter 3, how far are you?
I dont know if it makes a difference but i have the eu version

ost cheats can only be used once that might be the problem
I've gotten cheats to work as soon as reaching the first bench in chapter 1 on the first play through. It really isn't that difficult....
well i've noticed on some of the longer ones you do have to enter them faster, but it really helps to know them or just read them while you are hitting the buttons. I didn't have any problems with it. a couple like I said I had to enter faster. Once you here like a low ding you know you got it.
