The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles

The Shivering Isles is an expansion pack for Oblivion. Instead of buying the two sperately buy the Game of the Year Edition of Oblivion, it has Shivering Isles on it.

Shivering Isles is the EXPANSION to oblivion. its added content to the oblivion game. u can either buy oblivion and shivering isles expansion or just buy the game of the year version of oblivion- it has the expansion already included

The shivering isles is just an expansion with new quests, map, etc. Oblivion came out first. I don't believe you can play shivering isles withouit oblivion so either buy the game of the year edition or buy both of the games.

shivering isles is an expantion which may i add is AWSOME but you basicly wear the mantal of a deamora lord and you cant play it without the regular oblivion

Do not buy the GotY Edition of ESIV. You will be missing out on the Vampire Cure quest if you take it up. There is a glitch in the GotY that you won't be able to complete that one quest. The shadows are blocky as well. Try to find this and Oblivion seperately. It'll also help you get two Debaser weapons in Oblivion.
