It takes too long to get enough points to unlock them and the excitement starts to wear off a bit after a while.

There is no cheat. if you want, you can level up faster by going online.

I just find a quick way to get ASSAULT POINTS quickly , play the Kill House stage and hide near empty train carriage behind the power box.This will only make the enemies come in one direction, shoot underneath the carriage when the enemies take cover there to get "Kill Through Points".
(Aiming Height Direction)Aim at the thighs.
