Resistance 2
Question from shadownet_46
Asked on: 11/6 11:53AMWhat's the "best" class (ie. the one with most kills/XP per match)?
The one with the most experience would definitely have to go to medic. I usually get near 300 XP for healing one person at a time, and at the end am one of the top 2 people that gained the most experience from the match. Its hard to kill many people though.
For kills go for a soldier, as they have shields to block out most forward blasts, and a minigun to rack up kills, and last a long time with the proper support.
Spec Ops are better for offline games because of the sniper like burst round weapons they have. If leveled up enough, they can become invisible, making them as valuable as a soldier, but Spec Ops is really a medium of kills and weapons, if you want things well rounded, go with Spec Ops, for the provide decent kills per match, and 30 XP when handing ammo to other players. They dont get the most of either, but are balanced by the end of the game.

statusSoldier or medic
As the first guy said the medic will get the most XP. Yet if you work as a team SpecOps or Soldiers will get the most kills. SpecOps are weak as s*** but have the best gun, Soldiers are tanks they take dammage and spit it right back out. Unlike the SpecOps, Soldiers are inacurrate and deal moderate amounts of damage. Medic will get tons of XP if they heal and can deal as much damge as a Soldier. As an up side they can refule their main weapon without a SpecOp and can heal themselves. If you want kills play as a SpecOp, or Solider. For XP Medic.
although most would think soldiers are the best for killing, its actually Spec Ops. the best way to get tons of kills is to use the secondary fire of your main weapon. if you go into an area you know will have enemies, prepare before hand. you can have 3 shots in the clip and 2 ammo packs to give out, each pack you give out will give you 1 more shot. these shots will track down and attack multiple targets. your main fire isnt even necessary, but is still amazing because it is so powerful and can quickly take out medium sized enemies if you aim for the head. just using the secondary fire alone will work just fine however, and you will get tons of xp from the ammo packs you throw out. just keep throwing them and u will keep getting more shots. later on you can get 1 extra shot in the clip and i think hold 3 ammo packs to be thrown. you also get proximity mines, which if placed on a spawn point, or in front of a bunch of weak rushing enemies, like the zombies or spiders, you can kill all of them with just 1 shot.
another thing is the berserk. the first berserk you get automatically refills your clip for secondary fire, so if you time it correctly you can shoot about 12-13 of them consecutively. or after level 12 you get the beam cannon berserk and it can wipe out an entire group of enemies, or the boss enemy with 1 well timed shot and get tons of xp.
if you play this class right, u will always have the leading number of kills by a landslide, i usually get about 130 with second place having about 80, and in the top 3 xp, but you will still get less xp than a medic.
The medic has most exp no questions ask. no explaining to do. but u have to constantly heal people. if u juss stand there. no exp.
This all depends on your playing style and how good you play that person, I am the best with the medic and I get plenty of kills and XP, I am always at the top 3 for kills and XP. (I just run out and start using the Phoniex on large groups of enemies while others are shooting from a distance, also making sure to mind my surroundings if someone dies run over there and revive them if some one needs health even if it is only a tiny bit, heal them)
Yet if you play the soldier and the Special-op the best, you could easily get up there, I've been in games where these 2 classes are at the top for kills and XP, just make sure you play smart, play aggressively, and always mind your surroundings.
Medic is easiest to start with, because as mentioned above, you never have to see an enemy to rack up xp, just trail behind the crew healing. If you're looking for kills/xp, look at the leaderboard. Last glance of mine had highest Spec ops player about 3 mil xp above highest soldier player and 16 mil xp above the highest medic. Spec ops are the high end class, they are nearly unstoppable in the high levels with a good medic. Soldiers are only used well by close quarters type people. They're useful and get nearly equal stats I think, but not quite.
I would say the medic for XP. Granted, the Soldiers and SpecOps can pick up kills a little faster than the Medics, but you get XP for healing as well as damaging enemies. I usually attack with the Phoenix, because it will damage more than one enemy at a time, switch to the Carbine to speed up the XP gain for each shot, then throw down a RoL or a few healing pulses. (Level 6 as of now)
Early on medics are the best but later on they get to be average They can heal but higher level spec ops and soldiers can deal more damage thus getting more experience. Spec ops are average at first and become the best at higher levels, once they get mines and more ammo boxes. Soldiers are the worst at first and get average to good at higher levels once they can turn the fire on the enemy and throw airfield grenades down. This of course all depends on how good you are. The game is designed where if you are a team player for coop then you will get a lot of experience. If you don't play your class well you will do poorly all the time.
Personally, I've had the most success at gaining lots of XP as a Medic.....I guess that's why I'm at level 26 as a medic right now, while I'm only at level 15 as a Soldier, and only at level 8 as a Spec-ops
To be honest, everyone says the medic is the best for experience, but it's only the best if you're good at it. A crappy medic will 4 out of 5 times earn less experience than a really good spec ops guy. Even a low level spec ops guy. Another thing you have to watch out for, is that if you do play as a medic, which is my highest levelled class, I would recommend only joinging a game if there are at least 5 people, and never join a game that already has 2 or more medics. 2 medics to a team is plenty to get the missions done, and any more than that and it's just a huge fight between medics over experience as each medic is fighting to heal the other members of the team. Trust me, 3 minutes of searching for a game of 8 people with only 1 other medic is worth it in the long run. And one last thing. Don't let people fool you. You only get 30XP per ammo pack thrown with the spec ops. I'm not saying it's not worth throwing them, but they most definitely shouldn't be your main source of XP. If they are you, you should throw a frag grenade down and kill yourself because you suck.
Erm Soldier? You'll get a good amount of kills and exp if you dont get a bunch of idiot specs. You also get teh LAARK which is a good mob killer. For Spec get headshots and keep soldiers shield up ull get more xp than the medic. Depends on how you play tho. Medic IMO is insanley boring, soldier is tough at the beginning and gets easier the higher lvl u are. The spec is pretty balanced all the way to the max.
It all depends on your playstyle. Spec Ops can deal a lot of damage, so they can kill faster than anything... if they didnt have to reload so often. Since soldiers are next in line to deal the most damage, and they have such high ammo capacity, naturally they can get the most kills. Highest experience handsdown goes to the medic class. As a medic, use your phoenix to heal, heal, heal! It's so easy to get points like that, and your team will appreciate you for it. Attack only to absorb energy for the phoenix.
