Resistance 2

We have just recently picked up Resistance 2. We started playing the game 2 player co op OFFLINE. When we restarted the game, it DIDN'T save the 2nd Player Stats. It also won't let you set up the 2nd player profile or recognize the 2nd player profile. Are we missing something or can't this be done? Help, frustration sets in quickly!!!!

Was this so in the first game??? How about online play??? Do your xp points matter when you play games online(xp points that you have previously earned in single player or co-op))??? Or do yo have to level up online???

I have some many negitive comments right now, this game I all hyped up to be this Awesome 2Player co-op, competitive game but Player 2 gets the raw deal?? Weak!! ;-<

I still can't believe that you can't just use a memory stick or something to save your profile on and pop it in to the PS3 and it keep track of your stats as a Second Player.
