I've restored 2 continents and still haven't gotten any souvenir.
Get plenty of rings, go 2 every shop, and buy the souvenirs it has 2 sell. u will know it is a souvevir when u look in ur inventory and it wont b lit up like food items. give them 2 the professor and he will give u hints 4 the game, sun & moon medals, art books, and flashes for the camera

statusBuy them at the Shops every world has one just buy them there and give it to the prof.
There are many souvenirs throughout the world. You must buy them from the shop keepers in each area. Don't forget to get the few that Wentos (a traveling salesman that changes towns everytime you talk to him) has. Also, there are quite a few in eggmanland that can only be accessed after you beat the final boss.
