First you must complete "The Arl of Redcliffe" quest line up until the point where you have liberated Redcliffe Castle from demonic taint. Bann Teagan will then give you the "The Urn of Sacred Ashes" quest. Follow this quest line and eventually you will be accosted by a man named Kolgrim. Choose non-provocative dialogue options when speaking with him, or he will attack you. He will offer you the chance to champion his cause and give you vial of dragon's blood and ask you to pour it into the Urn of Sacred Ashes. Accept his offer and continue the quest line to complete his request. Afterward, he will appear again as you attempt to leave the dungeon and offer you power by drinking from a chalice of wyvern's blood. Do so and you will learn the Reaver specialization for the Warrior class.

Answer

Specializations are learned from either another party member or by finding special books. So you have to keep looking. I've just started a game therefore should I come across any specializations I will post them here at gamefaqs.com

Answer

Here are all the Warrior Specializations: Berserker can be learned from your companion Oghren or from a Tome purchased from Gorim in Denerim Market District. Champion can be learned from Arl Eamon (if you save him) or much later if you choose to put Loghain in your party and you can befriend him enough. Reaver can only be learned from Kolgrim during the quest "Urn of the Sacred Ashes". Templar can be learned from companion Alistair or from a Tome purchased from Bodahn at the party camp.

Answer

so like Rdawg81 was saying - during the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest, you will encounter Kolgrim in the Wyrmling Lair. Presumably do what he wants and he'll teach you.

Answer

It's exactly like CynicalNaivete, however, after you've been granted the Raver specialization you can talk to Kolgrim again and kill him and still retain the specialization. You can kill the High Dragon after Kolgrim's dead also.
