Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire

"Totally lived up to E3 expectations!"

Intro:
When gamers saw the trailer for this game at E3 last year, we were amazed. It looked like we would finally get a good giant robot anime game. Well, the PS3 is out now and this game is everything in the E3 trailer and more.

Story:
This is your typical Gundam storyline. The World is at war and you are one of two groups battling it out to restore your groups ideals. You're either with the Federation or with the Zion Forces. Lots of great story for any Gundam fan and a fantastic futuristic storyline. Definitely a strong point for the game, as the story will keep you playing till the very end of the game.

Graphics:
The graphics are amazing, definitely better than and Giant Robot ame I've ever seen before. Smooth mobile suit textures and polygon counts, as well as great looking destructible environments. Animations are smooth and flow with realistic physics. The Special effects are great looking and have a realistic look to them. This is power that can only be produced by the Playstation 3, major props to Sony for the PS3's power.

Sound:
The sounds are great, just like you were living the War between the Federation and Zion. Realistic battle sounds and great voice actors. The music is also a great addition as it will encourage you to continue to fight as well as entertain you during the game.

Gameplay:
The game plays very well, as the controls are well fitted for a giant robot game. Each attack is done the way a robot should attack and delivers with full mechanical force. In no time, you'll be running and gunning down your enemies like a pro.

Replayability:
The single player experience is a good one, and it can take you a few hours to beat. Not exactly a long game, but it's fun in the process. Unfortunately, there is no online mode, but the multiplayer battle mode is still enjoyable, so if you have a friend over you can play to see who the greatest mobile suit pilot is.

All and all, Mobile Suit Gundam Crossfire is a great game for the PS3's launch line-up. A must buy for any PS3 owner.
