NBA 07

"NBA 07 a good NBA game."

Introduction- This is NBA 07 for the PS3. This experience is more of an arcade-like experience rather than a realistic NBA game like EA. I dislike the realistic experience of EA and prefer the more arcade-like experience of this game. So keep this in mind when you read this review.

Graphics- The graphics for this game are very good. The players look realistic and the court looks great. The graphics get a ten out of ten.

Music- The music on this game is mostly rap/hip-hop. It is not a bad selection , but it is a bit of a let down that you can not put your own music as a soundtrack. Therefore I give the music a seven out of ten because although the music goes well with the game, the lack of customization is disappointing.

Controls- Controls are fairly simple. However that is good for a basketball game. There are no complaints here. The controls get a ten out of ten.

Gameplay- This gameplay is arcade-like , but not necessarily simple. It is fun although I would recommend you to play on a harder difficulty mode than the default mode because the game will get boring on an easy mode. The game has a season mode and a free play mode. Also there is a mode that will let you act out certain scenarios of the 2006 season. This game has a lot of potential , but does not utilize all of it. I believe there should be more modes to play on as the modes might become repetitive quickly. However if you have friends to play with this game will shine. If not then the game might get repetitive quickly. I give the gameplay a seven out of ten without multiplayer and an eight out of ten with multiplayer.

Life Span- With a friend this game will be enjoyable for a while. However without a friend this game might get repetitive quickly. With a friend I give lifespan an eight out of ten. Without a friend I give the life span a five out of ten.

Overall- This is a good game that doesn't live to its full potential. This game could use more customization options and more gameplay modes. Remember if you don't know if you like an arcade-like experience try renting the game first. If you enjoy it, you should buy it. This game is fun though, and I believe it should be tried by all NBA fans. I give this game a seven out of ten.
