Warhawk
Review by ShinkuDaisuken
"Great game, Many Ps3 Owners Should own this."
Warhawk, a game that makes all forms of combat, ground or aerial, applicable. I recently got this game, due to the hype it was receiving and I must say, This game deserves it. To start I'll put the features. The game supports 32 players online on 5 maps , there also is many other features like, server hosting, headset support, ranking , multiplayer split screen online, and etc.
The game throws you right into the action headfirst from the moment you enter the game, You start out in your teams base(red or blue) and you fight to achieve the objective of the mode. For instance, Capture the flag, Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, Zone capturing like star wars battlefront, and others. There are many options for fighting, you can defend the base on turrets, jump into a Warhawk and take the action to the sky, or rip the ground on foot or on vehicles. Choosing wisely many times can turn the tide of the battle in your favor.
The graphics are very well made and the game looks like it was made for PS3 so if your afraid it will be ugly, fear not. The audio on the game, while spread out, is very well done. The game has infinite replayability, due to the fact this is an online game and doesn't use bots. The game also has a lot of options and puts the sixaxis controls in pretty well.
You also can customize your fighters, and Warhawks. When you get new ranks, you are allowed new expansions on the customization options. This will mean, the higher you are in Warhawk, the less people you find that look like you. Which in the following months will be realized fully. Hopefully I will upgrade rank quickly to get the benefits.
There are a few issues I will dive into in the following paragraph.
The issues for Warhawk are as follows. The game will freeze every now and then but I know they will fix it in patches. Also the lack of bots, even though I don't care, some people cant practice properly without them. The no single player thing also would dent it down, but I wasn't buying Warhawk for a single player experience. Other than those, the game is perfect and is deserving of being a top 10 PS3 game for years to come. So to finish this review off, I give this game a 9.
