"A game of Guns, Cars, Tanks and Planes"

Possible one of the funest online games I've ever played! You can't deny that Warhawk is a great game, sure it has its little flaws, but once you take the burnt crust off, the juicy bit inside gets much more satisfiying.

Graphics 8/10 The graphics are very well done in all areas. They make very good use of colors, there's lots of color in the game and it's NOT just Black, Grey or brown! Explosions look good with missiles bombing all over the place. The draw distance is superb, you won't fly miles away in a warhawk and to find that the planes will turn into little ants, not just disappear as if by magic. Textures are good, not the best, but there's is much worse graphics in other games.

Controls 7/10 The controls, I found, were simple to get into and very responsive. There really isn't a hard learning curve here; it should only take about a minute for them to feel natural. (I was able to start blowing up other warhawks in a matter of minutes in my first game) Most people will disagree with me here because the game doesn't give a clear view on the controls (you have no tutorial or any guide to tell you only in in-game hints but just tell you the buttons for what your doing). Sound 8/10 Sound effects are really solid. Rarely does anything sound off. Guns sound like guns, planes flying about sound like a real plane would. Not much for the music except the menu theme.

Gameplay 9/10 This game is fast paced, and almost as addictive as drugs (only kidding kids). The animations very smooth looking, noting stupid looking. Character animation while jumping is some what silly, (you look like your on the moon a bit).The game supplies you with vehicles although not enough for me, (there's only 4X4's, Tanks, Planes and that's it). Its great fun to drive a jeep and have a team mate shoot behind with the machine gun although it's almost suicide to go round in a 4X4 any way. The only complaint here is that when you're on the ground it's just about circling the enemy with what ever you got on you and just keep shooting.

Online 9/10 Online is flawless. No lag whatsoever… EVER and NO frame rate drop what so ever. Menus are easy to deal with, and games are easy to get into. There's a bit of a lack of filters as you can't pair off ranked and un-ranked games. Although, being an online only game, we can expect future updates for download, (It's been stated as well not just a bunch of whish's like RBV6). Here's a plus for all you party gamers… 4 player split screen all online at the same time! No campaign mode for those who are slow with the news. Replay Value 10/10
The online is beyond addicting, like drugs (Remember kiddies) There always be some body online. I can't see this game dying out for at least 1-2 years, and course the updates will always keep you coming back. A must own for PS3 owners!
