Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction

"Ratchet and Clank, Worthy of Future?"

Graphics(10) - Although the shaders arent as good as a game like Heavenly sword or Gears of War this title packs some major graphical punch. With tons of animations of Characters and in the background this game amazes even on a SD tv, and seriously drops jaws on HD tvs.

Gameplay(10) - Tons of fun, with great variety of guns, gadgets, and tools of destruction then you know what to do with. With tons of ways to enhance the gameplay with unlockables and new things to do the possiblities are endless. The areana not only adds to replay value and fun, but it lets you take some enemies on as you blast through creative matches and enemies.

Sound(10) - Everything from the music, to the Voice acting, to the sound effects are perfect. Almost everything about the sound is great. With some witty and halarious dialouge that will capture all those people online with jokes and allusions from present day things like myspace. This game kept me laughing throughout the entire game.

Replay-Value(9.9) - This game is probbly the most addictive game ive ever played, with wepon upgrades, enhancements, gold bolts, holo plans, gear, armor, and tons of planets to explore the possiblities are endless. Just when you think that the game ended becuase you beat it and you have everything in the normal play, they throw out more wepons, armor, and gadgets your way. The only thing missing from this games replay value is the fact there is no multiplayer. While they could have took the areana and used that, or made some kind of co-op while you use Ratchet and your friend uses clank, it was missing from the game.

Overall(10) - This game after beating it twice still offers some serious fun for the whole family. Jokes, gameplay, replay, and tons of eye candy will keep you delighted as you get sucked into this game and you cannot stop until you do everylast thing and become the hardest of core. After all these games spanning from the ps2 to the psp to the ps3, this game seriously keeps it going with Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. Anyone who hasn't decided on whether or not the Ps3 is right for them should seriously consider getting one for this game if you like Jak and Daxter, Banjo Kazooie, or any platformer. This game is in my opinion the best game on the Ps3 so far and should not be overlooked. This will be a timeless game for this consol until the next Ratchet and Clank Future hits. Keep those enemies dancing and keep on shooting as you make your way through tons of enemies, bosses, and worlds.
