"We should Prepare for the future . . ."

. . . Because this game is great. Fallout 3 is really fun and entertaining. Fallout 3 is what I had expected and more. I really can't get enough of Fallout 3. I applaud to the staff at Bethesda Softworks for taking The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (or the engine if you want) and took it to another level while keeping some of the same feel as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Bethesda Softworks staff have outdone themselves again for another addicting game. Fallout 3 is just as addicting as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and it is hard to not pass up. Fallout 3 is a great First-to-Third-Person-Role-Playing-Shooter and if you love The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3 has your name on it.

Graphics - 10/10
The graphics are really outstanding. The water is just like in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (same textures) and the land is The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and beyond. With all the destruction on the ground, you really have to look good for hidden goodies (The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is the same way with all the grass, trees, rocks, and dungeons). The faces of everyone is a bit weird (in a good way) because Fallout feels like a Human Spin-off of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion because I am used to seeing like an Ogre or a Khajiit (Cat/Lion/Tiger) and not so much Humans because The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is Fantasy-based (anything can happen) and Fallout is Human-based (real-world while being semi-Fantasy) but after a while I will get over it. Looking much deeper in the graphics, the graphics are much better than The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Sounds - 10/10
Different sounds come from this game. From hearing the guns from the reviews on television, I thought the sounds were going to be good and realistic, and the reviews for Fallout live up to what everyone says about it (I mean the positive comments). The guns, footsteps, voice-overs are great. It sounds like a lot was put into Fallout to make it a great game like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and beyond.

Gameplay - 10/10
The gameplay for Fallout is just like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (as well as many other RPGs). There is a Main Quest and there are Side Quests. The Side Quests may either Help or Hinder the Main Quest and vise-versa. The abilities and weapons for Fallout are more advanced than The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and gives the game a bit more FPS feel to it.

Controls - 10/10
The controls of Fallout are exactly like the controls for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion which makes it that much easier to go through the game and complete it. The controls can be configured, but if you are like me, you must play with the default controls or you will get confused. Nice easy controls with a game that has great gameplay.

Replay - 7/10
Like my point for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, I really want to start over but if I do, I will lose everything that I worked for and I really don't like when that happens. Fallout 3, like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, is fine when you replay it from the beginning ONLY if you have gotten so far in the game but once past a certain point it feels like the game HAS to continue and there is no time for going back to the start. But seeing that the gameplay and graphics are really better than The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Fallout 3 is a really great post-retro game, I am giving the replay a 7/10

Bottom Line:
I am most likely going to spend another 100+ hours on this game because of the Bethesda Softworks staff and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. And the next 100+ hours (not consecutive) are going to be fun like no other. Fallout 3 is in my Favorites because this is another outstanding game for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. Fallout 3 feels like a more advanced version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion because it is a more advanced version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Buy or Rent:
Fallout 3 wants to be bought and not rented. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion took a long time for me to complete.

Note:
For those who forgot about the reviews on what is called a television and the Internet (how else are you viewing this review), the interviews of a few staff members at Bethesda Softworks compare Fallout 3 to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and saying that Fallout 3 is better than The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I am agreeing with those staff members because Fallout 3 is a more advanced form of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Also, guess what game the staff members based Fallout 3 off of? You guessed right, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The staff members wanted to take The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to another level. They have done so in Fallout 3.
