"Short? maybe, fun? Hell yah!"

Bioshock is a first person shooter created by 2K games. It was recently released on the PS3, and I took this opportunity to pick up the game for myself. What do I have to say? It blew me away. It took my expectations, and destroyed them with something even better!
I will review this game based on these categories: game play, replay value, and story.

Game play: 10/10
I can honestly say, this is one of the best shooters out there. As soon as I got control of my character, I was hooked to the end. Every encounter in this game, as advertised, can be very different, or you can find a good strategy, and stick with it. you get a total of 8 weapons, varying from a wrench to a chemical thrower to the deadly crossbow. Another great feature that adds to the game is that each weapon has different ammo types such as ammo that does better to armored targets, electrified bullets and more. You can even upgrade weapons at upgrade stations to make them even more impressive. Weapons aren't what make this game so good though. Plasmids are like superpowers, you can shoot lighting, set things on fire, freeze your enemy and more! Plasmids are what make strategy really advanced, you can think: "will I set him on fire then shoot an Heat seeking RPG?" or "will I zap him and get an easy head shot?" the choice is yours! This game has amazing game play, and is one of the best shooters I've ever played.

Replay value: 10/10
I'll be brief at this part, although the game is short, I fell as if I have to play it again, it's that fun. After playing on easy, I can play on one of the harder difficulties or play on easy and try to hunt for the audio diaries. This game will have me coming back to it time and time again.
Not much else to say here, so let's move on to the next category

Story: 10/10
The game starts off as some guy randomly put into a city by chance, but it gets much deeper then that. I won't say much here either, I could say a lot, but I don't want to spoil the game, trust me, you won't want the story ruined for you. The story is also told in a very interesting way, Audio diaries. Sure you can skip them and understand the story fine, but if you really want to get into raptures past and hear all the secrets that slowly uncover themselves as you progress in the game. I didn't really hear some of the audio diaries, but if you take the time to hear them, you're in for a treat.

Overall: 10/10
If you like shooters, and you like to play a fun game many times, you have no excuse to not buy this game. Trust me, this game is perfect in almost every way, you'll enjoy every second of it.

Thank you for reading! :D
