Fallout 3

"Starts off slow but captivates you later"
I've got 4 words for you:
This game is BIG.
SO much stuff you can do. The story can be changed in so many ways and can have over 200 endings, and SO many different skills. Some skills would be making everything a lot gorier than usual, increasing your skills, and others.
But on with the review
GRAPHICS
The graphics are great but very buggy because of Bethesda. For instance, when someone logs on or off in your friends list, the game freezes until that grey pop-up in the corner goes away. Character models are pretty darn good and the gore is pretty excessive, but awesome. You'll be blowing off heads a lot. The environments are astonishing to look at and the explosions are top notch.
Score:9/10
SOUND
The voice acting in this game is freaking great. Everyone sounds like what they look like and not that many cheesy lines, if any. The growling from enemies in the Wasteland freaks me out all the time. Only thing better would be the change of music from Oblivion. Sounds WAY too similar.
Score:9.5/10
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay is freaking fantastic. The combat system is so fun with the addition of VATS, where you stop the action and attack the enemy by choosing a body part. Then it shows a cinematic view of the shot. Choosing what you want to say to a person is sometimes funny and also makes a BIG impact on the story later on. Also, there are SO many ways to do the missions; Kill him AFTER you take his money/info. Put a grenade in his pocket. Nuke them. Its so cool to save before and approach it in several ways. Only problem is the game starts off EXTREMELY boring, which made jerks give the score 4s and 5s just because they dont give it a chance. But after about 1 and a half hours, and you get your 1st quest to get some money, choose what you want. Also, some of the enemies are badass like the Deathclaws and story soldiers. The Behemoth is one scary mofo too.
Score:9.9/10
LASTING APPEAL
This game is BIG. With the addition of Karma, people will react differently to you whether youre bad or not. You have over 15 skills to upgrade, SO many choices that affect the story, BIG map, and TOO many weapons. My favorite being the Rock-It Launcher. It can shoot ash trays, teddy bears, cans, even rocks at enemies. Perfect here
