"This game is like crack...."

....Once you start, you're constantly coming back for your fix. First thing you might notice is that this game is on the PS3, which isn't a bad thing, even though most act like it is. Killzone 2 uses every ounce of power the PS3 has, pushing the PS3 beyond its limits. This game is great if you decide to give it a chance instead of trying to find everything wrong with it, which is very little.

Graphics 10

The most AMAZING graphics I've ever seen in a game, or at least on a console. The visuals are great, the effects are fantastic, and overall it's like sex for the eyes. The only downside of them is the fact that they are being used in a war torn world, which is usually dark and gritty and not colorful and pretty.

Sound 10

With gunfire filling the air, bombs going off all around you, the annoying little beeping noises from the million grenades you encounter, and the constant scream of "MEDIC" as your allies fall. You get the feeling you are truly in the middle of the fight, and experiencing this war. The music is Star Wars'y if you actually stop to notice.

Controls 9

The controls is what most people notice at first. They are "heavier" than most shooters. If you actually give them a try, they are perfect for the job. However, if you are afraid of change and put no effort into trying to get use to them, they are living hell. If you master them though, you find it hard to go back to any of the other weightless shooters.

Gameplay 10

It redefines First-Person Shooters. It might not bring anything new to the table, but it revolutionizes what we've already played before. This has to be the MOST intense shooter I've ever played. Combined with the outstanding graphics, the tremendous sound, and the intense combat this game makes you wanna going into the fetal position and wet your pants. Rushing from cover to cover trying to out think your enemy, actually taking cover using the nice revolutionary cover system this game brought forth, and slowly pushing forward truthfully gives you the feeling you're the one in the fight.

A.I./Difficulty 10

Easy is easy, normal is fair, hard is hard, and elite is crazy. Unlike most games where the harder the difficulty, the more health the enemy has and the less you have. This game actually makes the enemy smarter and gives them quicker reactions when you step up the difficulty. You find it where the enemy will be suppressing you, and one or two will flank you. In short, the AI are really smart and ruthless. Oh, and that's for the enemy AI not your dumb as hell friendly AI. Your squadmates are good for nothing but dieing.

Story 9

Nothing outstanding, but none the less still very good. It makes a lot more sense if you know the background story and what all has happened, which I don't know. It's basically an all out war on the Hellghast's home world with both sides getting their asses kicked.

Multiplayer 10

This is where the game triumphs. There is really no other game I can think of to help put an idea in your head. Basically, there are classes. You start out with a basic combat class, and as you rank up you unlock more classes and more weapons. The classes are Combat, Medic, Engineer, Tactician, Assault, Saboteur, and Scout. Each class plays it's own role in up to 32 player objective based matches. In these games all hell is let loose. It is an all out war on which team will win.

Overall 9

You might ask why I only give it a 9, well truthfully I've yet to play a game that deserves a 10/10. and this game is close but just isn't the one that deserves my first 10/10.... Anyway overall, if you have a PS3 and you like shooters you must buy it, but if you don't like shooter at least rent it. The game is amazing and triumphs in every way. Just do me a favor, and play it for a good game and not a game that you fear is better than any other game so you must find little things to constantly complain about....
