"All the giant robots, lasers, and beam swords you could hope for. BEST GUNDAM EVER!"

This game is perfection in its finest. This game holds both the nuance and revolutionary gaming system of the dynasty warriors as well as the epic completely awesome aspects of the gundams we know and love. This game could possibly go down in history as KOEI's best game.

Story: 10/10
Giant robots with beyond human pilots trying to save the world from other giant robots. Containing almost every single series of gundam known to man. It cannot get much more perfect than that.

Graphics: 10/10
There is every detail, down to the screws of the gundams. It looks seamless and really takes the graphics capabilities of the PS3 to their limits. There is no lag, glitches, inaccurate representations, or wrong colors/missing parts anywhere. It looks stunning and it was completely nailed.

Gameplay: 10/10
Alright this new system blew me away. I was not expecting them to hammer out every thing that was wrong with the first game, and then add everything you loved in the other Dynasty Warriors. The Gameplay has fixed the annoying SP style and made it much more like Dynasty Warriors. There is now a standard ground SP an air SP and a combination SP. Each one finally works that it will do a standard maneuver until you run out of SP then a finishing move or just end. They have also added more charge attacks and more strokes in the attack string so you do not get so bored of it so quickly like there was in the last game. There is also a new dash that you have which lasts as long as you have something in your thruster gauge. No more spamming the X button and not being able to make any progress. The pilots also now have 50 levels which take forever to max, so you will not burn out on this game as quickly as you did in DWG1. They have also made it so that useless beam rifle you had, oh yeah it isn't so useless anymore. It has up to three consecutive shots with a shorter reload time so A. it is no longer a piece of junk that does no damage. B. you can actually stop a gundam for more than half a second. And C. Like the archers we know and love we can snipe targets low on energy. There is also a new parts system similar to the weapon system where you can upgrade, develop, and add abilities to it. So no more mixing and matching with generic parts like the last game.

Sound: 8/10
Here is what you were actually waiting for "Is there jap voices?"....NO. I am sorry, but this is the only flaw of this game. While everything sounds perfect with nice giant and violent explosion and *peuw*peuw* lasers it is still American dubbed. However, a lot of the actors are now trying harder to sound like the shows and all the horrible fake ones, were replaced with less horrible fake ones. While it still makes my head feel numb it doesn't give me the usual need to cut off my ears.

Misc: 10/10
The difficulty of this game has finally reached chaos mode level proportions. While it doesn't have chaos mode it is still a lot harder. In the first game the AI for your teammates in hard mode was a little ridiculous. They were almost easier than the normal. Honestly, I have never played a DW games harder than this games max difficulty. Also the replayability of this game makes the first game look like a demo. I have played for 25 hours so far and haven't made a dent in getting 4th parts or maxing my characters. Or playing every suit; and it is still fun. There is also an online feature which seems really stupid, but it isn't that bad. I have only played a couple matches so far, but it is fun to play people who actually utilize the gundams entire being. Also they have put in what seems to be like three times the characters and mobile suits you could use in the first game. Also guess what there are only (what seems to be) two cloned characters (and by clones I mean gundams with different names and aesthetic features) take that DW6! Finally the trophy system is just a big fat Christmas bonus to this game.

Possibly the best game of the year.

Overall: 10/10 (btw this is not an average just my opinion)
