| Introduction to this FAQ | IDXA000 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Welcome to this FAQ to Breath Of Fire III. This FAQ is a complete
reproduction of this FAQ and thus completely rewritten from scratch.
I know that this is a bit of a drastic change. So if you wanna know why I
chose that method then there are multiple answers. First of all, all info
about me in that FAQ is hopelessly outdated. The e-mail adres the FAQ refers
to does no longer exist, my name is no longer Tricrokra and some more things.
Second. Even though the original FAQ was written with devotion some errors
did appear, and I did not want to sort it all out anymore.
Third, I've put up this new lay-out for my FAQs and my BOF3 FAQ which is
supposed to be my best FAQ (there's no game I know better than BOF3. Perhaps
calling myself a master is a little arrogant, but I do think that I'm one
of the most devoted players ever). There are more reasons, but that's not
what this FAQ is about, is it?
First of all how to use this FAQ.
BOF3 is a game in which I've set up a truely remarkable game strategy. I did
once call it ultimate, but you may disagree with that. Truth is that everybody
did see that I developped a very remarkable gameplay and it's one that works
and one that can create a few risks, but gives a lot of gameplay power in
return. (At least for me it works). In this FAQ I'm sharing my techniques
with you. Everything that tells you my technique is set in boxes labelled
"MY TECHNIQUE". Of course, you may think your techniques are better, but
remember that all parts of this FAQ that are based on playing techniques
(Like boss strategies for example) are based on my technique. So if you use
another technique this FAQ may not go about it. Of course as I try to be
a true master, I will try to light on other techniques if I do see
alternatives to my techniques that might work well.
Second, what's with all those IDX codes? That's part of a quick search system
I use for all my walkthroughs (Introduced in my Wild Arms Alter Code F FAQ,
so it may not be seen in older ones unless revised). If you are hopelessly
stuck in a place press Ctrl-F (Apple-F in MacOS) type over the code that's
behind the dungeon name in the index, and your browser should bring you to
the spot that you were looking for.
Next you need to know is that BOF3 cities and dungeons contains "areas" or
"Rooms". These aren't numbered like in the Wild Arms series, but you can
keep track of them in my Walkthrough since I'll start every room by putting
a "-" at the start of the line.
Some rooms are a huge list of things you gotta do. Then I'll use "=" as a
sum up mark.
And very important to note is that when I say "North" I always mean the
upper left corner of the screen, which the game too intended as North.
In most missions I'll tell you which characters I took into the mission.
You must (once you got more than 3) always pick 3 to take with you.
Only the characters you've with you will gain EXP.
Not all characters are suited for all missions.
In some missions you must take a certain character with you, because you
cannot complete the dungeon without him or her. In that case the character
is marked with a "*" when I tell you about my party.
Since you are always required to take Ryu with you I won't mark him.
Now something else. I'll tell you about my levels at the start of each
dungeon. I don't believe in levelling up, it's simply a waste of time. But
people who are inexperienced in RPG games may need to know which levels are
safe to take on a mission. To those I recommend to have at least my levels
or more, when you start. Experienced RPG-gamers should ignore the fact that
I noted these levels in the first place.
That makes all things set up I suppose.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Characters | IDXB001 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Here are your characters. Before you start a mission you can always take
three of them in your party. Pick your characters well, since they are not
suited for all missions. Ryu is a all-time character, since he's the hero
you gotta take him all the time.
*** Ryu
Ryu is the hero of the game. His statistics start very weak, but will
build up to pretty average. He's the best healer of the group so use his
powers well. He'll learn the ability to turn into a dragon. This costs
AP to transform and to maintain the form. So find a proper way to combine
it with your healing magic.
Personal action: Cut - You can cut down bushes with it.
Master rec: Mygass, D'Lonzo, Meryleep
Starting Level: 1
Abilities: Accession Attack Complete Mt. Myrnegg

*** Teepo
Teepo is only available in the first part of the game. In an early stage
of the game Teepo will leave the party and never come back as a playable
character. But in the short time that you have control over him he'll
be very useful. Teepo is a good fighter and also has very good attacking
magic to use. Make good use of him in the time that you have him.
Personal action: Kick - Kick small stones to move them
Master Rec: None
Starting Level: 1
Abilities: Flare Attack Game Start
Frost Attack Lv 4
Simoon Attack Lv 7
*** Rei
At the start of the game you have Rei, the thief. He too will leave the
party at an early state in the game, but he'll be back very much later
in the game. He's very fast, but not very strong. He can steal items from
the enemies, and he can turn into a big tiger. I'm not fond of Rei, but
many players seem to be able to put him in good use.
Personal Action: Lockpick - Rei can open locked doors
Master Rec: Doesn't matter I use him often to get Chain Form from Bais
If you really want to use Rei much then I suggest you
let him study under Bunyan.
Starting Level: 5 (when he comes back later in the game 20)
Abilities: Pilfer Attack Game Start
Jolt Attack Lv 9
Lightning Attack Lv ??
Slow Assist Lv ??
Silence Assist Lv ??
Speed Assist Lv ??

*** Princess Nina
Nina will be the first to join you after Rei and Teepo left you. Nina is
very weak in attacking power and defense, but her attacking magic can be
powerful and in some situations very useful.
Personal Action: Enchant - Nina can enchant objects to make something
happen
Master Rec: Emitai
Starting level: 5

Blizzard Attack Lv 28
Sirrocco Attack Lv ??
Myollnir Attack Lv 38
*** Momo
Simple minded and scatterbrained. Momo's a girl you gotta love, really.
She's a master with machines, and you may need to use her knowlegde on
countless occasions to solve certain puzzles. Momo is by far your
strongest attacker, but she misses easily, that's her flaw.
She's a healer, and I often use her to take over the healing when I need
Ryu's dragon powers.
Personal Action: Shoot - Destroy certain things
Master Rec: Fahl
Starting Level: 10
Abilities: Heal Heal Game Start
Purify Heal Game Start
Identify Assist Game Start
Foretell Assist Game Start

Vitalize Heal Lv 33

*** Peco (Pecoros)
An..... ONION!
Completely useless (don't mail me saying he's not, cause your mail will
be ingored and deleted). I only use him to get certain moves from masters.
(which can be transferred to others by using skill inks)
Personal Action: Bump - Works the same as Teepo's Kick
Master Rec: Anyone you may need moves from
Starting Level: 1
Abilities: Dream Breath Assist Lv 10
*** Garr
A strange fellow who knows a thing or two about Ryu's dragon powers.
Garr is your powerhouse. His accuracy is not great (better than Momo's)
and his defenses are best. Garr is not fast, but when you have Chain
Form later in the game, you can back that up.
Personal action: Push - Push large objects
Master Rec: Fahl
Starting level 1
Abilities: Pyrokenisis Attack Game Start
Flare Attack Game Start

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Masters | IDXB002 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
During the game there are a lot of people on your way called "Masters".
Masters can really help you to make your quest a lot easier. You can make one
or more characters an apprentice to a master. That will affect how your stats
go up when you increase a level. For example if a master as HP+3 then when
you level up and you'd normally gain 2 hitpoints you'll now get 5 as 2 of your
own and +3 of the master 2+3=5. Note that they can also negatively affect it.
If HP-1 is the stat then if you'd gain 2 HP you now gain only 1. (You'll never
loose points so if you'd gain 2 HP with a master of HP-5 then you'd just won't
gain HP).
But there's more to it. When you've gained a certain ammount of levels (which
is mostly 2 or 3 levels) the masters can teach you abilities. These abilities
will appear in your characters skill. Each move will only be taught once.
If Ryu has learned Frost from Mygass, then don't try to learn it with Momo as
well, as she simply won't get it. Moves that you already copied from enemies
will also not be taught. Exception are Bais, Wynn, Lee and Lang, but that's
explained in their resective section.
Most masters will ask you to do something before you can learn from them. That
could be to pay money or to win 30 fights without resting. If you fill the
requirement, you got yourself a master. After joining only gaining levels
while you are an apprentice of that master matters.
With that all covered up, let's get into the masters in detail.
*** Mygass
Location: ?-Spot in Yraal region
Stats: AP +1, Int +2, Pwr -1, Def -1
Available: After you defeat the Nue
Requirement: Give him all your money
Teaches: Frost
Meditation
Magic Ball
Typhoon
Recommendation: As soon as you can get him, all your cash is a steep
price, but Ryu really needs his moves (except maybe
meditation) and there are parts of the game you can really
have a hard time to complete if you don't have his spells.
*** Bunyan
Location: At his hut in Chedar Woods (after Rei and Teepo leave the
party).
Stats: HP +2, Pwr +2, Def +1, AP -2, Int -3
Available: After your first fight with Balio and Sunder
Requirement: None, I think.
Teaches: Focus
Gambit
Super Combo
Disembowel
Recommendation: I hardly use him. Some people rather use Rei than Garr
and if you are one of them, I think Bunyan will make an
excellent choice for Rei.
*** Durandal
Location: In a hut between the city walls of Wyndia
Stats: Secret
Available: Once you left Wyndia for the first time
Requirement: None
Teaches: Unmotivate
Feign Swing
Backhand
Recommendation: Unmotivate and Feign Swing are crap. Those moves do nothing
at all. Backhand is an attack that's never lethal. It
appears useless, but in your training session to train up
Beyd, this move will have an incredible usage. So I do
strongly recommend you to get that move.
I also need to note that you must have Durandal as master
if you want to get Master Hondara.
*** D'lonzo
Location: Coffee Shop
Stats: Pwr +1, Alg +1, HP -1, AP -2, Accuracy up
Available: After the rocket crash
Requirement: Carry 15 diffrent kinds of weapons
Teaches: Monopolize
Intimidate
Steal
Recommendation: Try to learn steal with Ryu. Momo may need a few levels
with her, so that she misses less than she'd normally do.
*** Yggdrasil
Location: Tree east of the plant
Stats: AP +1, Def +1 Int +2, HP -1, Pwr -2, Fire protection down
Available: Once Peco joined the party
Requirement: Give it a Wisdom Fruit
Teaches: Sanctuary
Recall
Shield
Remark: Only Peco can speak to it.
Recommendation: Use Peco to grab Shield from it which you can transfer
to Momo
*** Fahl
Location: Pup in Genmel (Arena)
Stats: HP +4. Pwr +1, Def +3, Agl -3, Int -3
Available: Once you beat Stallion
Requirement: Win 30 fights without resting
Teaches: Charge
Counter
Resist
Recommendation: I use Momo a lot and put her under Fahl to make her able
to survive the stronger enemies, and that works very well.
Momo's intelligence may be the prince, and is because Momo
is a healer not unimportant, however, you can deal with
that quite easily.
I also put Garr under him. Garr's magic sucks by default
and it makes no sense to boost out that aspect of him,
that will only cost you points on those aspects you'd use
Garr for. Power. There are many people who'd prefer to
put Garr under Bunyan though. Not my choice but not a bad
alternative either.
The move Resist is an important one. You may need it in
certain battles (Mamaite and Berserker).
*** Giotto
Location: Beach near Rhapala
Stats: HP +4. AP +3, Pwr -1, Def -1, Agl -1, Int -1
Available: As soon as you reach the eastern lands
Requirement: Have 2000 fishing points or more
Teaches: Trump
Berserk
SuddenDeath
Recommendation: If the stats suit you depends on your playing style, but
forget about his moves. They're dangerous. Trump is only
usable when you have 0 AP. Berserk will get you stronger
but out of control and you die after three turns and
SuddenDeath kills either you or your enemy. If you like
to play it risky, then pick him.
*** Meryleep
Location: ?-Spot north of the plant/coffeeshop
Stats: Agl +2, HP -1, Pwr -1, Def -1
Available: After beating the Dolphin
Requirement: Give her the Flower Jewel (Read the section before
Maekiss Gorge on how to acquire that).
Teaches: Charm
Shadowwalk
War Shout
Remark: You need Peco to find her. She lives in a well.
If Peco can bump a stone into it (you need some distance
to do this or else the rock won't make it), Meryleep
will appear.
Recommendation: Meryleep is the most important master of the game.
Especially when you go for Chain Form which you can
acquire from master Bais. If Ryu (who is always with you)
lead's the chain form your party is faster than any
enemy when Ryu is trained under Meryleep, and that makes
this game A LOT easier, I tell ya.
Her moves are also the ones that can be used a lot.
So this master is VERY valuable!!!
As I said, I always let Ryu study under her as soon as
the game allows me to.
*** Hondara
Location: Urkan Tapa
Stats: HP +1, Int +1, Pwr -2, Holy Properties Up
Available: As soon as you get there
Requirement: Have Durandal as master
Teaches: Purify
Kyrie
Bennediction
Recommendation: I was not impressed. Purify is nice. Kyrie is only
truely valuable in your fight against the Dragon Zombie
And Bennediction looks like a fantastic move but it's
the most useless move of the game, trust me.
(It may revive all dead party members, but it misses
more than it hits, so when you need it, it's too
irreliable).
*** Emitai
Location: ?-Spot east of Dauna Mines
Stats: AP +4, Int +4, Pwr -2, Def -2
Available: When leaving Dauna mines in part two
Requirement: Give him 10000 zenny
Teaches: Barrier
Mind Sword
Enlighten
Recommendation: I personally always place Nina under him to make her
magic even stronger. This has a risk since it will make
her weaker than she already was, but there are dozens
of ways to back that up, trust me.
*** Bais
Location: Wyndia
Stats: Pwr +1
Available: Once you defeat Mikba
Requirement: Play Hide-And-Seek
Teaches: Chain Form (this is not a move, it's a new battle form)
Recommendation: GO FOR THIS ONE! Chain Form is the best battle form
form of the game. You'll definately need it.
*** Lang
Location: Wyndia
Stats: Def +1
Available: Once you defeat Mikba
Requirement: Play Hide-And-Seek
Teaches: Nothing. He'll give you a Cupid's Lyre in stead
Recommandation: Ran out of ideas for good masters I suppose.
Totally not worthy of my notice.
*** Lee
Location: Wyndia
Stats: Int +1
Available: Once you beat Mikba
Requirement: Play Hide-And-Seek
Teaches: Magic Form (Not a move. It's a new battle form)
Recommendation: If you play on magic it's fine I suppose. I never go
for it.
*** Wynn
Location: Wyndia
Stats: HP +1
Available: Once you beat Mikba
Requirement: Play Hide-And-Seek
Teaches: Refuge Form (Not an ability. It's a battle Form)
Recommendation: Refuge form is worthless. It recover 1 HP at the end of
every turn. If it was more this form would be useful.
Cut short, ignore her.
*** Deis
Location: Mt. Zublo
Stats: AP +3. Pwr +1, Agl +1. Int +3, HP -3. Def -3
Available: Once the Shisu mission has begun
Requirement: You have to call her "Ma'am"
Teaches: Inferno
Blizzard
Sirocco
Myollnir
Celerity
Recommendation: If you value magic spells then Deis has the best ones
without doubt. Personally I never go for that though.
*** Ladon
Location: Dragnier
Stats: Pwr +2, Def +2, Agl +1. Int +2, HP -6, AP -6
Available: When you reach Dragnier
Requirement: Have all dragon genes
Teaches: Holy Strike
Wrath Of Light
Aura
Remark: Only Ryu can speak to him
Recommendation: HP -6 and AP -6? That's not the price I want to pay.
And his moves aren't that great.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Dragon System | IDXB003 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Once you passed the Mt. Myrneg and reach Wyndia in doing so Ryu will gain
the ability to transform into a dragon. Now all BOF games allow Ryu to
transform into dragon, so that's nothing new. However BOF3 has the most
advanced system in all BOF games, and with that also the most complicated
but the possibilities it grants are worth it.
First of all to transform into a dragon you must use the special move
"Accession" which is located in his attack ability list.
After you've done that, you'll get the gene list. In the beginning you only
got the Flame gene, but as the game progresses you'll get more genes. Some
you'll find thanks to the scenario, but most genes are acquired by picking
up purple crystals that can be found all over the world.
Pending on the genes you picked (max 3, in random order) you will become
a dragon. The possible combinations are legio so I won't put them all in this
FAQ. I'll tell you what all genes do, and I'm sure you can come up with
pretty good combos yourself. There are however a few gene combos that get
you a very special dragon, but I'll get into that later.
Which Genes are there?
----------------------
(This is NOT the order in which you probably find them)
*** Flame
Function: Add flame properties to your dragon
Interesting combos: When used with frost it'll be neutralized so don't
do that.
When used with frost and thunder you'll become a
Trygon.
Found: When you complete Mt. Myrneg.
*** Frost
Function: Add frost properties to your dragon.
Interesting Combos: Neutralized when used with flame
When used with flame and thunder you get Trygon
Found: Beside the hut in Maekyss Gorge
*** Thunder
Function: Add thunder properties to your dragon
Interesting Combo: When used with Flame and Frost you become Trygon
Found: On a beach by a hut at a ?-spot in the Rhapala
Region.
*** Shadow
Function: Add evil and death properties to your dragon
Interesting Combo: When used with Trance you become the Tiamat.
If can also be used to enchance Peco's Hybrid
Found: When you beat Dragon Zombie in Dauna Mines.
*** Radiance
Function: Add holy properties to your dragon (good against
undead)
Intersting combos: None
Found: At the container yard
*** Force
Function: Become the Warrior Dragon which is very fast and
very strong in attacks (my favorite)
Interesting Combos: With trance you'll become a Myrmidon
You can also use to upgrade Rei's Hybrid
Found: In the underground part of the plant
*** Defender
Functions: Raises defense of your dragon
Interesting combo: None
Found: You get it when you complete the Mt. Boumore.
*** Eldritch
Function: Makes a magic dragon form. If used with an elemental
you gain a spell pending on the element you used
Interesting combos: Elemental genes :)
Found: At the top of the lighthouse
*** Miracle
Function: Become the Behemoth. Big dragon, high strength and
defense. Slow. All party members are merged into it
Interesting combos: When used with ???? you become the Mammoth.
When used with Thorn and Reverse you'll become Wildfire
Found: In the lava of Mt. Zublo
*** Thorn
Function: Seems to enchance something but I wonder what
Interesting combos: Use with Miracle and reverse to become Wildfire
Found: In the field where Momo's rocket crashed.
*** Gross
Function: None
Interestinf combos: None
Found: In Tidal Caves
*** Reverse
Function: Turns flame into frost and vice versa. Same goes for
radiance and shadow.
Interesting combos: When used with Thorn and Miracle you'll become Wildfire
Found: On a ?-Spot near Momo's tower
*** Mutant
Function: Turn into a random dragon
Interesting combos: When used with ???? you'll become a pygmy.
Found: On Steel Beach
*** ???? (That's really the gene's name)
Function: A few secret dragons
Interesting combos: Can be used to enhance Momo's Hybrid
When used with Mutant you become Pygmy
When used with Miracle you become Mammoth
Found: Hidden in a hut at a ?-spot west of Steel Beach
*** Trance
Function: Used for some secret dragons
Interesting Combos: When used with force you'll become Myrmidon
When used with shadow you become Tiamat
Found: At Ygrdassil near Kombinat
*** Failure
Function: Neatralizes all other genes
Interesting combos: When used with Infinity the Kaiser will be controllable
Found: At the colony
*** Fusion
Function Become a hybrid (see Hybrid part of this section)
Interesting combos: See hybrid part of this section.
Found: When you beat Dragon Zombie in Dauna mines
*** Infinity
Function: Become Kaiser, the ultimate form (NOT)
Interesting combos: Kaiser is uncontrollable unless you combine it with
Failure.
Found: Left behind by the Dragon Elder after you defeat him.
Secret Dragons

As I said I'm not going to tell all possibilties unless for the secret dragons.
(Not they they are worth it).
*** Trygon
This dragon is nothing special. Just the three elements in one dragon
Gene combo: Flame + Frost + Thunder
*** Wildfire
Very little HP, but extreme high defense
Gene combo: Miracle + Thorn + Reverse
*** Mammoth
Low defense but extreme much HP. Will merge with other party members
Gene Combo: Miracle + ????
*** Myrmidon
Much like warrior but with attacks in all elements and Aura Breath for
what that's worth.
Gene Combo: Force + Trance
*** Pygmy
Funny little dragon. Worthless though
Gene Combo: Mutant + ????
*** Tiamat
Merges with all party members. Dragon for sissies. Not always as
usable as it seems though.
Gene Combo: Shadow + Trance

| Dragon Hybrids | IDXB004 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
The Hybrid is a special dragon that deserves a special place in this FAQ.
First of all you become a hybrid by using the Fusion Gene. However how
your hybrid looks like and what it can do depends on your party. Ryu combines
his powers with one of his team members and thus the Hybrid.
Also good to notice is that all hybrids can be powered up for more power.
For that you need to put it an extra gene with the fusion gene. Which gene
that is depends on with whom you combine your powers.
Here's a list of which Hybrids will form when you combine with party members.
(Dead party members count as not in your party).
Nina's Hybrid

Index: Part 1: What does everything do?
Part 2: Recommendation for best results
*** Faeries part 1: What does everything do?
Below I described what everything does
* Scholar - Job
The faeries assigned on this skill will try to find new jobs.
Without these students you'll never have any jobs, so this is a very important
one.
* Scholar - Culture
This will make your culture level higher after a period of time.
When it's high enough the "scholar - job"'s will learn about new
jobs sooner and your merchants will get new merchandise quicker.
And so there are a lot more advantages. Max culture level is 7.
* Merchant
Easy these fellows will sell you something.
They start with one item, but as their
merchandise increases they can offer you more stuff.
What I tell you about them is what I got from them so far.

* Inn
The first fearie assigned to this one will run an
inn for only 10 zenny for a rest. The second faerie
on this skill (same room) will tell you how long
you've been playing the game, how many monsters
you defeated and how much money you made so far.
* Gift
Will give away items. It's always a surprise what
you get but sometimes the items are really cool!
Items I received so far: Icicle, Firecracker,
Life Shard, Magic Shard, Fish-Head, Protein,
Power Food, Coupons, Panacea, Vitamin, Wisdom Fruit.
* Explorer
Will explore the world to find items. Whatever he finds
will be given to you. This is a dangerous one. Faeries
could get killed by this one.
* Antiques
Will buy strange items. When you got items which the game describes
as "Appears valuable" you can sell them here. The faerie assigned on
this skill will give you more for it!
* Music
The faerie assigned on this skill will let you enjoy some music.
Not very usefull, is it?
* Casino
Allows you to gamble. Just as in
reality: Only stupid guys use this one!
* Copy
This is a very dangerous feature. Not for the faeries but for you.
The faeries assigned on this skill will try to copy an item. When
you gave them an item, never close the shop or assign other
faeries to it. You'll loose the item. Copy could fail, in most
cases you'll get your item back, but sometimes they will screw
it up and that they'll (accidently) destroy the original item!
*** Faeries Part 2: Recommendation
As soon as Ryu becomes an adult (after defeating Garr in Angel Tower)
you can start the civilization. It's really advisable to start a
civilization. Especially when you want an easy win on the final boss.
First have a few hunters and a student for Culture. As soon as you can
start building (you need to clear to get room to build)
As soon as you can have a student for "Work". One of the first jobs
they'll discover is "Merchant".
As soon as you can have a Merchant "Items Ability". They sell
"Balance Rings" which you will need most of in the last parts of the
game. This is most important.
Having a "Handyman - Ability" can be handy if you want to defeat the
"Berserker" to have some soul gems in case. If your lucky you won't
need them there, but just in case. If you don't want to beat the
berserker, then forget this one.
Having an Inn is recommended too. This is the cheapest Inn possible
and inns are one of the few ways to restore lost max HP.
The last very recommended thing to get a lot of money is to open
an antiques. Sell items that "Appear Valuable".
The other rooms are by used as "Gift" and I let myself surprise me
if they give good items.... :)
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Hidden powers of weapons | IDXB006 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Some weapons have hidden powers which can be released by using
them like an item during combat. The good point is that you can do
this unlimmited times per items but you can only use each
weapon (or armor) once per turn.
Here are the spells casted when using the weapon/armor as an item:
Dragon Blade ...................... Fireblast
Holy Avenger ...................... Might
Laquer Staff ...................... Silence
Mind Shield ....................... Steals some % of the enemy's AP. Much
more power full than Leech Power :-)
Piercing Edge ..................... Weaken
Robe Of Wind ...................... Speed
Royal Sword ....................... Lightning
Thunder Rod ....................... Jolt

money. He wants to trade for fishes. Here's a list of all Manillos in the game.

| Walkthrough | IDXC000 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
You can give up your hero's name. Default is Ryu and that's what I'll call
him during this FAQ. Then you may set up your configuration and then you're
ready to go.
(If play this game for the first time you may want to watch the prologue
sequence first. It'll start automaticly when you leave the title screen
alone. It contains information that's important for the story).
************************* PART ONE *************************
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Dauna Mines | IDXC001 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| My party: | Whelp 1 | | |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
The game starts with a fight against Gary and Mogu. Just use Whelp Breath to
win this fight. If you don't, well, the game will do it anyway, since you'll
automaticly counter all attacks with Whelp Breath as long as you are in the
mines.
- Okay let the quest begin
+---- MY TECHNIQUE -------------------------------------------------------+
Search the corpses and you'll get a Melted Blade. Unusable now but,
you can use it later. Also handy for the 15 weapon quest for D'Lonzo.
More about that later.
+-------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Find your way in this room to exit south
- You'll meet a guy who'll ask if you are a dragon (geez what do I look like)
Doesn't matter what you say he'll run away in panic anyway.
Keep going south and you'll have to fight a miner and an engineer. It's
still just using Whelp Breath.
Keep going south until you can go no further, and exit west
- Go south and you gotta fight again. You gotta try to use Whelp Breath
however a voice will command you to stop, and the operator will use the
crane to knock you out. That ends this part.
A lot will happen now, and when you have control over Ryu again, you are
in Rei and Teepo's house in Chedar woods.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Chedar Woods | IDXC002 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| My party: | Ryu 1 | | |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Save your game and go downstairs
- Search the two closets for a vitamin and a worm.
Exit south
- Walk around the hill and go south over the bridge.
There's a goblin and an eye goo here. You can talk to them for some game
hints. Anyway follow the road and exit south
- Follow the road and go south wherever you can. Exit south at the end.
You'll end up on the worldmap. The only thing you can do there right now is
going to the village McNeil.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| McNeil | IDXC003 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| My party: | Ryu 1 | Teepo 1 | Rei 5 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
As soon as you enter you'll meet Rei and Teepo. Follow them.
After Rei fixes you some equipment they'll join the party and with that the
game has officially begun.
After all this talk go south to end up on the worldmap.
Now the world map will have its full functionality (almost).
Going to locations is easy I suppose.
There are also combat fields (I like to call them "knokveldjes" in dutch).
You can access those field whenever a "!" is above Ryu's head. If you are
unsure about your level or when you need to have some fights for other reasons
you can use these to pick fights. Enter them and walk around for enemies to
appear.
You can also press start. Then you'll be at the campsite. There are many
functions in the diary that's there (like resting and saving) and you can
talk with your friends about the current situation (which can give you very
good hints). Make sure you use that often.
The flower beds (which are marked with "?") have no function yet.
That will come later.
+--- MY TECHNIQUE ----------------------------------------------------------+
Despite the fact that I don't believe in levelling up I do it here until
Ryu has reached level 5. It's not much but enough to get through some
start-up dungeons.
Whenever you encounter Goo enemies, make sure Rei Pilfers them for
healing herbs. Until Ryu has an acceptable ammount of AP you may need
those.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
When you wanna continue go to Yraall Road.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Yraal Road | IDXC004 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| My party: | Ryu 5 | Teepo 5 | Rei 6 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Monsters: Ripper, Goblin, Boss Goblin, Eye Goo, Mage Goo
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Go all the way south and Rei and Teepo will teach you the trade of thievery.
Rei will point a spot to hide (a hand icon will show the place he means)
Go there. Here you'll make your first attempt to rob somebody (Bunyan) but
it goes horribly wrong. Rei and Teepo decide it'll be a good idea to break
into his house now that he ain't home. So....
Let's go there. Leave the Yraall Road.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Bunyan's House | IDXC005 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| My party: | Ryu 5 | Teepo 5 | Rei 6 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Monsters: Ripper, Goblin, Boss Goblin, Eye Goo, Mage Goo
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- There are multiple entries to Chedar woods. From south, east and north.
Take the east one.
- Go south follow the road and you'll find Bunyan's house.
- Put Rei in the lead (L1 can be used in the PAL version for that) and let
him open the door.
- After the talk here, go to the back of the house and take the ladder down.
- Search the cabinet and find a Beef Jerky. Rei and Teepo will catch up with
you. Bunyan will get home. Uh Oh. Rei and Teepo will go up. After that
go up too (yeah, I know what you are afraid of, but you have to).
- Leave the house
- Bunyan will knock you down. Bunyan will scold you. He'll send Rei to
Mt. Glauss and you have to chop wood with Teepo.
You have to cut at least 15 logs or so.
Watch Teepo, as soon as he removes his hands from the log press triangle
to cut (or whatever key you have for that action). If you are too fast
you'll hurt Teepo, if you are too slow you miss the log. Both mistakes
cost time. Time you cannot afford if you want to reach the minimum, so
concentrate.
When succesfull leave Chedar woods
Gp to the ?-spot northeast of chedar woods

= Cross the bridge
= Have Teepo to kick the small stone so the big one will move
= The path has opened to a weather vane, take it and come back
= Go east and go north (kick all stones you find on your way. Treasure
may be hidden underneath).
= When there's no more way north go east
= At the end kick the south stone, a coin is beneath it, and it'll be
very important later.
= Exit north

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- = Cross the bridge
= Go North and at the end go west
= Go up the mountain to the north
= Up there you can use the slide down to reach treasures that are
noteworthy. A dark spot on it marks the places to go down. :)
After you grab the treasure go back up
= Head east
= At the end go south and go east
= Cross the bridge and it'll be nightfall.
You'll automaticly go into the house where you rejoin with Rei and
take a rest.
- Leave the hut and you'll get your first boss fight

His attacks are not strong, but because you are short on healing magic
now, he can form a threat. Only heal when you HP are getting dangerously
low. Teepo can do some deal with Flare (if you're high in level let him
cast Simoon like crazy). After some attacks it will run away.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
I recommend to take a rest in the hut and to use the dragon statue to save
the game.
- Once out of the hut go east
go up north
You may follow the road west to get a "Vitamins" a very rare but handy
item. (Don't confuse with "Vitamin", that one letter diffrence makes a big
diffrence in its usage) Enter the cave to continue.
- The game will note a trail of blood. It is the Nue's blood,
Go east
+------- MY TECHNIQUE ---------------------------------------------------+
Take the first road to the north and exit north
- | Search the bone pile for a bent sword. You can take the bag for a |

Exit south
- | Go back to the blood trail |
+------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Go east
Take the way north with the blood trail
Exit east at the end
- Follow the blood trail until the game says it stops.

- Teepo will give his view of the situation. Now go back south
until you reach the "main road".

This battle is the same as before. With only one diffrence, but an

that hurts all party members pretty bad. It can only use that spell once
so you'll be able to deal with that easily.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Examine the Nue to exit east
- Examine the next to see the Nue's dead cubs
Exit back west
- Go all the way west and exit west
- Jump in the water again, and this dungeon is completed.

When you enter the village the people will thank you for killing the Nue.
+---- MY TECHNIQUE ---------------------------------------------------------+
Before doing anything else. Now a lot has become available. Since the
villagers love you now you can make use of their services. You can use
the stores now. Be sure you buy a wooden rod first from the item shop.
You'll need it for fishing. After that to buy all equipment you can which
makes your heroes stronger. Be sure NOT to sell anything. And if you have
any money left after buying equipment, then buy things like healing herbs
until you too little money left. Now leave the village of McNeil and go
tot he ?-spot North-West of McNeil. Here you'll meet the wizard Mygass.
He is going to be your very first master.
(See the master section for detailed info on masters). He'll ask all your
money to become your master. Say yes to his proposal and make Ryu his
apprentice. (It makes no sense to make Rei and Teepo his pupils. They'll
leave the party after the next mission). And after that let's go fishing
Go to the fishing spots west of McNeil (Be sure to visit them both). I'm
not going to explain how the fishing game works. If you chose "Rules"
from the fishing menu you'll get very detailed information so you don't
need me to explain it. There is some handy info on fishing in the fishing
section. Be sure to catch two Rainbow trouts from the northern spot, and
two Trouts from the soutern spot. Then you much catch the Manillo from
the soutern spot (see Manillo Section). Trade your trouts and rainbow
trouts for a Silver Knife. Equip it on Ryu. If you want you may fish here
for more silver knives, for iron helms or other stuff you need (you

If you're done with all that. You're ready to get the next show on the

ONE LAST NOTE!
If you are low on money and still wanting to buy things. Any way to get
the cash is fine, but DON'T SELL ANY WEAPONS! You're going to need them

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
When you're done with all the preperations. Talk to Loki. The cloacked guy
wandering around in the streets of McNeil. He'll make you a proposal. I
warn you it's a fishy one, but you'll have to accept.
He'll invite you to meet him in a bar.
Exit south
You'll be at the farm. Go south until you see a barn enter it to meet with
Loki. He'll explain what he wants you to do. The game will skip to night
and the McNeil mansion mission will begin

| My party: | Ryu 7 | Teepo 7 | Rei 8 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Monsters: Guard, Roach, Volt, Bat
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- You'll start outside the walls of McNeil Mansion when you see a barn here
go straight up north from there. From here you can see a spot in the wall
that has just been repaired (it looks diffrent than the other parts)
Examine it to get to the next room.
- Now there are two gaurds. With the greybrown part in their armor are pretty
goofy, so you can deal with them. The green guards take their job seriously
and will kick you out if they catch you.
= Take the west path, there's a thief hidden there. He'll give you 50
zenny.
= Now go back to the entrance.
= Now you'll meet a guard if you go north
He'll ask 50 zenny. Give it to him.
= Go north and go up the stairs
= Upstairs take the west route.
= In the corner is a wallet (hard to spot, its hidden, you can turn the
camera to see it).
= No go east and talk to the guard. He'll be so glad he got his wallet
back, he'll let you pass.
= Go east. At the corner, take caution. If you step in the guards searching
light he'll see you and kick you out. Wait until he faces the other side
then go south
= Go down the stairs
= Keep going south until you see a ladder leading to a bell.
= Climb up
= Ring the bell by cutting it (Ryu) or kicking it (Teepo)
One of the guards will leave.
= Climb down
= Go into the path where the guard was and go north
= Get up the steps east and talk to the smoking guard.
= Go into the south path and you'll meet Pooch.

If it doesn't manage to lower your defenses this dog is no threat at all
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
= Go back north
= Go east
= Once reaching the wall go south, and go directly east.
= Talk to the guard and he'll mention a girl named Mina.
= Go south
= Go west, until you get past the bushes.
= Go north.
= Talk to the guy and the girl here (That happens to be Mina).
= Now go back to the guard at the barn and talk to him. He'll go away.
= Enter the barn

there's no telling how much damage it does. Can be much, can be little.
On top of that, it'll use the move "Ovum" which transforms you into an
egg. As an egg you cannot move, and your defenses are dropped. If you
survive 3 turns as an egg, you'll be back to normal and all HP and AP
will be restored. The quickest way to get rid of it, is to let Teepo go
crazy with "Simoon".
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After the fight, all chickens will go crazy and run over the whole area.
This gets you some oppertunities to sneak into the mansion itself.
- = Go west to the smoking guard again
= Go past him and get off west
= Go west and go upstairs at the end
= Once upstairs go all the way north
= Go east and Rei will pull a stunt that gets you into the mansion
(this means you'll have to do without him for awhile).
- First of all I adice to go through the east door.
- Teepo will complian about the fact that he feels being watched.
(You are watched, but that's something you'll discover soon. ignore it

Go south, and head east in the corridor.

IMPORTANT NOTE in "My Techique" this time
+----- MY TECHNIQUE --------------------------------------------------------+
In this section you're going to say goodbye to Rei and Teepo, and that
means that all their equipment will be lost. So before doing anything
remove all equipment from them. You cannot remove the weapons, so give
them both a bent sword. The most useless weapon in the game.
make also sure you got the next weapons in your inventory
- Dagger
- Bent sword x2 (steal some from goblins if you don't have them yet)
- Melted blade (if you missed it, you cannot get it again)
- BallockKnife
- Bronze Sword
- Broad Sword (if you missed it you cannot get it again now)
- Pointed Stick (steal some from Man Traps if you don't have them)
- Silver Knife (equipped by Ryu)
That should make a total of 7 weapons in you inventory (8 if you count
Ryu's silver knife.
As for skills Rei and Teepo learned from enemies, they'll automaticly be
transferred to the skill notes once they're gone, and can be given to
future party members (or Ryu) with a Skill Ink, so don't you worry about
that.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
With that taken in order go to your house and you'll see it's on fire.
Now you'll also meet Balio and Sunder for the first time and those guys are
going to make next chapter of this story into a big hell. For now you just
gotta fight.

Recommended form: Doesn't matter
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
There's no way to win this fight. Both Balio and Sunder have infinite HP
Just all them to kill you, and the game will continue. All you can do is
try to steal a protein and a life shard from them and that's all there's
to win about this.

I know, the internet is flooded with people claiming you can win this
fight, but it really is nothing but a lie. Even a gameshark won't suffice

One last note. Don't you try mailing me with any possible tactics you
made up to beat these. I'm only interested in true facts about this game
if you know something I don't. I don't like lies, and I've had so many
lies on this matter that I'll even ban you from mailing me again if you
try it, so one advice. DON'T!
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this fight you'll wake up in Bunyan's house, leave the house and Bunyan
will tell you that all he found was you. Bunyan doesn't know what happened to
Rei and Teepo, but he fears for the worst. Ryu will get in mind that Teepo
wanted to go to Wyndia. So that will be his text target.
Leave the Chedar Woods.
+---- MY TECHNIQUE ---------------------------------------------------------+
Before you actually go to Wyndia I recommend the following.
Mygass has moves you really should have, and once you made your way to
Wyndia you cannot go back to him for a long long time. So make sure that
Ryu learns all there is to be learned from him. (His final spell is
Typhoon). This will require to gain a lot of levels, so it takes a lot of
time, but it is very rewarding. Now that Ryu is alone, the experience
won't be shared, so make use of that. The best place to train is a combat
field in the Central Wyndia part of the world map. That's east of Yraal
road. (Don't go up the Mt. Myrneg yet).
Before you continue double-check your weapons. See list I made in last
technique section.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
When you are ready to continue, go to Mt Myrnegg east of Yraal road int he
central Wyndia Section.

Monsters: Nut Troop, Nut Mage, Tar Man

= Go south
= When you pass the Tar Man (just a hint keeper, don't worry) go around the
corner and climb the ladder
= Go east
= Take the first ladder on the south to climb down
= Go all the way east. Take the protein from the bag hidden behind the tree
= Go back west and take the first ladder north up.
= Go east
= Take the ladder north to go up
= Take the other ladder to go up
+---- MY TECHNIQUE ------------------------------------------+
= At the small way east is a Bat Amulet (equip it on Ryu)
+------------------------------------------------------------+
= Take the ladder up
= Go all the way north
= At the end go west
= Drop off south
= Go south
= Ignore the ladder and go west
= Go around the corner and climb the ladder up
(You may pick up the bag before you go up the ladder. A little west and
then south. It cotains 200 bucks).
= Go north
= Go around the corner to the west
= Climb the ladder up
= Go all the way east and you'll meet Balio and Sunder again.
Now a lot will happen. Balio and Sunder, and Ryu himself will do a shocking
discovery. Ryu is a dragon. And that makes that Ryu will now gain the
ability to turn into a dragon in battle. See the Dragon System section for
more information about this. It's important to gain full understanding of
this system, as good usage of it makes this game A LOT easier.
Anyway after this entire shit that will happen you'll be thrown into the
dungeons.

- Examine your cell door. Yelling to the guard will not do anything. The
guard won't help. Try to break the door.
First attempt fails.
Try it again.
This time the door will break open.
Go east, around the corner south, and go throught the gate at the east.
Exit downstairs.
- Go down the stairs and you'll have to deal with Balio and Sunder again

Recommended Dragon: Flame ---> Whelp
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Recommended form: N/A
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
If you loose this battle, the game will continue so nothing wrong.

If you want to win, then take in mind not to hurt Nina. So DO NOT USE
ANY SPELLS OR ABILITIES THAT HURT ALL TARGETS, GOT IT!?

It's basically a matter of survival. Winning time. Turn into a dragon
and let Balio and Sunder do their thing. If you are fast enough. Remove
some heavy equipment if you aren't (can only be done in human form) you
should get an EX turn, if not allow them to kill you and you'll turn back
into a human again. If you get an EX-Turn, use it to become a human again
by using "Restore Form". After that turn into a dragon again.
Keep this up for serveral turns and Nina will wake up (she's uncouncious
because of that kick Balio gave her before the battle). Nina will attack
Sunder and run away. At first Balio and Sunder may decide that it's more
important to kill you first before going after Nina. Now to try to keep
it up for a few turns (use whelp breath if you can), and Balio and Sunder
will grow tired of you and run away.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
No matter if you won or lost, as long as Nina was spared the game will
continue (don't know what happens if you got Nina killed, cause I never
wanted to try that).
Nina will now join you, and now you got your first official extra party
member. (I don't count Rei and Teepo as they were more part of a prologue)
You may want to go back to rest and save. When you ready go downstairs
here to continue.

- There are 8 small tombs here on with 1 is the cue grave which you need to
continue. The other 7 contain a green and a red word. The green word can
be pushed for a treasure (if you got them all), the red ones need to be
memorized. The big grave is for obtaining the treasure if you pressed all
green words.
+----------- MY TECHNIQUE ------------------------------------------------+
The treasure for 7 green words is a light bangle. Useless item. It's
supposed to raise defense against status changes, but I tell ya, that's
too little to notice. It's still worth to get it though, since you can
sell it for a lot of money.
= Go staight west and you'll see a grave. Examine it.

= Drop off south
= Open the chest for a Panacea (very important item)
= Go up the ladder.
= Go up the ramp east
= Examine the east grave
= Press "Not"
= Ignore the south grave and drop off south
= Go east then north then east until you can go no further (Ignore all
graves you see)
= Then go north until you get back at the entrance
= From here go north and you'll see a gray path. Take that path.
= Follow the path until you see the big grave
= Examine the grave and push "7"
- | Open the chest to get Light bangle. Go south and drop off south |
Go all the way east, a little north from the end is a ladder. Climb the
ladder
- | You can open the chest for a glass domino. Equip it on Nina. |
drop off
+-------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Go all the way west, and go down the ramp west then down the ramp west
Go south and take the ramp up (east)
Examine the south grave.
Push the next words: = Red (1)
= Climbing (1)
= I (1)
= Is (3)
= Look (2)
= Beneath (2)
= This (2)
You'll fall through a trap hole
- Go west and you'll fall through another trap hole
- Go all the way west
+----- HEY PSST ----------------------------------------------------------+
Behind the northwest grave a Wisdom Fruit is hidden. Very nice item.
But use it with care, and keep a spare one which you need for a master
+-------------------------------------------------------------------------+

- Follow the corridor and exit west and you'll get in the city of Wyndia.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Wyndia | IDXC00H |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| My party: | Ryu 15 | Nina 7 | |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Good, you're now in Wyndia. Go to the city square (where people are sitting
having a drink). Go down the stairs here, and from here you can reach the
city fountain. Speak to the blond kid there, and he'll challange you to a game
of hide-and-seek
= One kid is hidden behind the trees in front of the pharmacy behind the
fountain.
= One kid is hidden in the small street behind the beggar
= One kid is hidden behind the wall just next to the city gate
= Behind a tree on the town square.
Once you found them all you'll get a clue about a kid-thief which could be
Teepo. Now you can leave the city of Wyndia
+---- MY TECHNIQUE ---------------------------------------------------------+
Now a lot can be done. You may buy a Midas Stone in the item shop here.
I know it's expensive, but since it increases the ammount of money won in
battle it'll pay itself back. I mostly equip it on Garr, but since he's
not available yet, but later in the game, I give it to Nina.
Be also sure to buy a Claymore and a mace. Do not equip the claymore yet
but do equip the mace on Nina. Let's check out if you're still up the
weapons as I am, shall we?
= Dagger *
= Pointed Stick x2 *
= Bent Sword x2 *
= Melted Blade *
= Ballock Knife *
= Broad Sword
= Bronze Sword
= Claymore
= Oaken Staff *
= Silver Knife (equipped on Ryu)
= Mace (equipped on Nina)
That should make 9 weapons in your inventory (plus the two Nina and Ryu
have equipped)
* means that you cannot get the weapons if you missed or sold them.

That covers the weapons if you leave Wyndia now, you can go to a ?-spot
that's between the walls. There's a hut in which you meet Durandal. He's
master. He may appear crappy but his backhand move will come in handy for
a quest that comes later in the game. Make Nina study under him. Then
make sure you rest at camp and go out on some combat-fields to level Nina
up. When levelled up enough Durandal will teach her Backhand. Once you
got that move in your pocket release Nina from his services and you're
ready to move on.

You're put under Fahl's guard, but because Fahl is always drunk, you can

You may see Garr here. I know he's a party member but he'll ignore you for
now. His part in the story comes later.
From here you can leave the town, and head for Mt. Boumore, but before you do
you may want to take the next advice.
+------- MY TECHNIQUE ------------------------------------------------------+
I know this'll bore you, but you're gonna need to buy all weapons you can
get here. You may have to go out and fight some monsters again for that.
But this may be the last time to do that before you need all those
weapons, so hang on.
Before you leave check if you got these weapons
= Claymore *
= Scramasax
= Broad Sword
= Mace
= Rippers (Weapon for Peco, but don't equip it to him before I say so).
= Bronze Sword *

won't be able to. The guys locked the door. When Sunder comes into play

idea to get the lift moving. (Don't worry about Sunder coming in. You'll
get away).

than to be captured and she and Ryu will jump down the mountain. Ryu will
have the strong will to protect Nina, and gain the Defender Gene in his
attempt, saving his own and Nina's life.
Once this is all over, exit this spot to get on the world map.
+---- ALERT!!!! ---------------------------------------------------------+
There's a ?-spot west from here. Enter it and you'll see a purple
crystal. These are dragon crysms. They contain dragon genes. You need
those to gain new dragon forms (see dragon system section). If you
examine them with Ryu he'll get the gene. This one contains the
reverse gene, and you may need that one bad!

| Coffee Shop | IDXC00M |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| My party: | Ryu 17 | Nina 12 | |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
(I get strange ideas about the word "coffee shop". Perhaps it's because
I'm from the Netherlands.
They often asked the question to me since I'm Dutch. Yes it's true that that
it's legal in my country, but don't get it into your head, since the law
is still strict about it, ok?)
Go all the way up the mountain.
While you're sitting for a drink, you'll be told that Balio and Sunder blocked
the road to Wyndia. So that means you're stuck for the time being.
You'll also meet Palet. A friend of Momo's father. He'll ask for Momo's help
for a problem at the plant her father built. Momo will accept, and that sets
you next target.
+---- MY TECHNIQUE ---------------------------------------------------------+
You'll finally get to know what all those weapons are good for. Up the
mountain is a girl named D'lonzo. She's a master, but to become her
apprentice you must have 15 diffrent kinds of weapons in your inventory.
The weapons you have equipped do not count. If you followed my advice you
should have 14 weapons by now (if you missed one 13). If you have
followed my advice you should have 2 Bent Swords. Equip one of Ryu. If
doesn't make 15 then equip a pointed stick on Nina. If that still doesn't
make 15 then you missed weapons, and the trick won't work any more. If
you made 15 weapons then let Ryu and Momo study under her. Don't forget
to give Ryu and Nina their normal weapons back!!!

Okay, you'll have to take this route serveral times in the game (since you'll
come back here in a later stadium of the game). But I only tell you the way
once, and if you come back here later, I recoomend you to go back to this
section to read it.
= Go west
= Use the blue switch (Conveyor will go up)
= Step onto the conveyor.

= Take the ramp to the north
= Step onto the red conveyor going west
= Go west
= Step onto the conveyor going west
= Use the switch and step onto the conveyor going south
= Go east
= Take the conveyor going down
That's it now you are at the end (if you're reading here from futher in the
game, then continue at the section where you are).
Put Momo in the lead and let her talk to Palet.
He'll tell you about some things that went wrong and about a mutant that's at
the Plant's Dump scaring everybody away. So you have to go to the dump to take
care of the mutant.
To the south is a quick way out, so use it, and leave the plant.
Go to the Dump. (west of the plant)
