---Version Information---

v 2.0 - Added from Royal Jelly to T.D.(Fused Dragon) in the Attack Patterns
        section. Tested everything that used to be (untested), removed
        Earth Dragon from possible ways to get Earthquake. Added a note
        about Terrator to the Element Location List, and tryed to make the
        Key look a little nicer, adding a TD note to that. I made a few
        more insignificant alterations here and there. This should be my
        last update, unless I test the techs for physical- or magical-based
        attributes, or if I ever get to filling in the steals/drops I
        missed.
                                                                   -06/24/03

v 1.9 - Added more Attack Patterns, revised the main Element Location list.
        I'll list the revisions, to save you time if they're all you need.
        Revisions: Sky Dragon does NOT use Holy Light, confirmed that Black
        Dragon uses FreeFall, confirmed Water Dragon uses Deluge, confirmed
        Fire Dragon(second form) uses Inferno, as does Vita Unus and Dark
        Serge, added Dark Serge to all the trappables he uses, all three
        Vitas use Volcano, Peppor uses ThundaStorm, reconfirmed both Solt
        and Peppor use Golem, Dario uses FreeFall, completed Green Dragon
        Attack Pattern, added Patterns for all the Dragons(except for two
        I misplaced) through Fate, as well as Orlha and Dario. PolisPolice
        drops PhysNegate, MegaStarky drops MagNegate, Steal:Fate:HolyHealing.
                                                                   -03/16/03

v 1.8 - Some fixes here and there for missed words and spelling errors
        mostly. Added some dividers and separated some sections for
        simpler navigation. Added another Pip trick (thanks A Demon's
        Requiem!). Added some important notes too.
                                                                   -09/09/02

v 1.7 - I re-did the entire Attack Pattern section and added 11 more
        patterns to it.
                                                                   -09/08/02

v 1.5 - Some minor revisions. Added a new Sprigg section, just has
        dopplegangs that would aid in doing the CusCus trick before
        actually getting the level 5 and 6 trappables.
                                                                   -08/09/02

v 1.2 - Hey, my guide's been accepted, hooray for me, now the first update:
        I fixed all the lines to 77 letters per line from it's previous 78
        letters per line to make sure it works for everyone. Finished the
        CusCus trick, I guess I didn't notice that I stopped a little short
        last time, heh, and I added some more drops and steals. Put in a lot
        more attack patterns too, and revised some inconsistencies.
                                                                   -06/29/02

v 1.0 - Lots of element and tech locations complete, working on level 5 tech
        star levels and dropped/stolen element lists. -06/27/02

There's a few FAQs that list the names of the elements, and what they do, but
not one FAQ says _how_ to get each element. So, I thought I would. Enjoy.

                             A. ELEMENT LOCATIONS
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Here's my compiled list of the locations of all the elements, I've started
my own stolen/dropped list, but that's nowhere near done, so that could
take awhile, I would use the one posted, but it's not actually complete,
it's missing some things, and there's a few errors, so that'll be up
eventually, I've only got a few enemy drops/steals up so far. First,
here's the key, it took a while to make so at least glance at it before
you get down to the rest:
___
|KEY|_______________________________________________________
~ "*" indicates a summon, x5 indicates a consumable element
~ "(trap)" indicates a trap element
~ digits ("x±x") on left indicates the element level
~ "home" means "Home World"
~ "another" means "Another World"
~ "()" indicates a location or condition
~ "Weak" is the weaker version of an enemy
~ "Strong" is the stronger version of an enemy
~ "Medium" is between Strong and Weak
~ Solt and Peppor are fought 6 times, "first" to "final"
~ The TimeDevourer(Fused Dragon) has 7 'phases' of attack,
  the (#) next to it's name indicates which 'phase' it
  uses the specified element(s)
~ Also, there are two Time Devourers, I'll refer to one as
  the "Fused Dragon" and the other as "final".
~ Hydra Marshes is the one place impossible to describe
  chest locations in, so chests there lack specific
  directions
~ If Home or Another is not specified it is found in both

Trappable element note: The Time Devourer(final) is able to use any attack
element in the game except summons, so you may trap some from it(greens are
your best bet, that's all it'll use until it's hurt enough), but you won't
have them until you use a New Game+ or Continue+ from that file. A good
last resort if you missed Carnivore from all the bosses, not as good as the
Sprigg-CusCus trick combo, but good if you don't feel like wasting time.

2. Double Techs
            There are few Double Techs in this compared to the huge amount in
            Chrono Trigger, and I've tried every combination possible except
            for a few Sprigg Dopplegangs. To execute a Double Tech get each
            party member involved to have the Tech ready to be used ready,
            and make sure they have at least 1 stamina point left, then their
            Tech will change into the double tech until they use it,one drops
            below 1 stamina, or if one uses their tech before the other has
            enough power to combine them. You may have seen me post this list
            on the Message boards, so for those who have, here it is again:

          done with three characters instead of two, although the damage from
          Dash&Slash alone usually does more damage, and there's only two:

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
                        C. SPRIGG'S DOPPLEGANGS
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

If Sprigg, or any character wearing the Forget-me-not-pot accessory kills an
enemy, that enemy will be added to the list of enemies that Sprigg can
transform into using her Dopplegang tech. SPRIGG DOES NOT NEED TO WEAR THE
FORGET-ME-NOT-POT TO LEARN DOPPLEGANGS. That's been brought up a lot and I
just needed to make that clear to everyone.
Anyway, Some of the Dopplegangs are just plain useless, but others can be
extremely beneficial when paired up with the CusCus trick, and because
Sprigg's strength is so low and she's a green innate, they take little
damage from her physical attacks, just try to get into battles with more
than two CusCus(sometimes you can get three or four, and sometimes they
come with a DoDo, any of those groups should work). What I mean by being
useful with the trick, is that they have at least one trappable level 5 or
6 element, so you can transform into that form and use it on the CusCus
without anyone actually equipping that particular element. It's especially
good for getting Carnivore, because the enemies that use it are easily
missed. Alright, here's the Dopplegangs and the level the "good"
elements are set at in each "good" form.

1.  Enemy: Bulb
    Level 5/6 Element and level it's set at
             Carnivore (+1), level 6

2.  Enemy: Gerridae
    Level 5/6 Element and level it's set at
             Deluge (+3), level 8

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
                           D. ATTACK PATTERNS
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Some enemies use random attacks and spells, but the majority of them have a
set pattern of attacks that they will go through, and usually repeat. This is
a list of the ones several other players and I have observed. Some of the
enemies change their pattern when they're low on HP, you can tell because
they will usually start hunching over or holding their head; for example,
MegaStarky holds his head and slouches forward when he changes his pattern
and by letting him live a bit longer could get you a rare Ultranova element.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Enemy Patterns

This first section has common enemies that can be fought more than
once and in portals in the Bend of Time.

A > and < on each side of an element indicates that you can trap it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

}ENEMY{: Airframe
          These are the most difficult enemy to trap a Summon Element from,
           but believe me, MotherShip works wonders on Miguel. The hardest
           part about it is finding one that'll use it, there's actually
           three different kinds of Airframe patterns, if they attack in a
           group they follow one pattern, and the game seems to randomly
           select which of two patterns it follows when alone. These
           patterns apply to those located in the Isle of the Damned(home).

    Pattern: #1 - Group pattern
       PowerDive
       Gravitonne
       Attack
       PowerDive
       Attack x2
      >FreeFall<
       Attack x3
       (repeat)

    Pattern: #2 - Lone Pattern
       PowerDive
       HellBound
       Attack
       PowerDive
       Gravitonne
       Attack x3
      >FreeFall</MotherShip(trap)/>MotherShip<(if field is black)
       Attack x3
       (repeat)

          If it uses FreeFall and you want the Summon, you'll have to Run
           Away and try again, and if you wanted the FreeFall and it uses
           the trap or summon, you'll have to do the same. In other words,
           it'll never use both FreeFall and MotherShip in the same battle,
           but it will definitely use the summon if it uses the trap.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

}ENEMY{: Bulb
          It'll follow this pattern as long as it attacks you by itself. A
           very simple way to get Sonja, you can get the summon pretty
           early this way. Find these in Shadow Forest(home).

    Pattern:
       Attack
       Attack
       Bushwhacker
      >Sonja< (trap if field isn't green)
       Bushwhacker
       Attack
      >Sonja< (see above note)
       Attack
      >Sonja< (see above note)
       (repeats Sonja...over and over and over)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

}ENEMY{: Centaurpede
          They follow one pattern when the field is Yellow, and one when it
           isn't. A great way to stock up on Earthquakes, once you've got
           your Golem summon it's all they'll use once the field is Yellow.
           Find them in Hydra Marshes(another).

    Pattern: #1 - When Field Effect is not Yellow
       GiddyBreath
       Attack
       Attack x2

    Pattern: #2 - When Field Effect is Yellow
       Attack
      >Golem< (unless previously captured)
      >Earthquake<
       (repeats Earthquake)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

}ENEMY{: Cupoid
          These little guys are a great source of HolyLights. Pretty easy to
           spot in various areas of Terra Tower. SlashAll can target one, or
           all your characters.

    Pattern:
       SlashAll
       Attack x2
      >HolyLight<
       Attack
       (repeat)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

}ENEMY{: Cybot
          Their third attack is random between the two listed. This is the
           pattern for the Cybots within Fort Dragonia(home).

    Pattern:
       Attack
       BeatenEarth
       BeatenEarth/Attack
       Attack x2
      >Earthquake<
       (repeat)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

}ENEMY{: Dwarf
          I fought this Dwarf in the third, bottom portal in the Bend of Time
           but I couldn't find any Dwarfs at any part of the game that
           followed his pattern, he was alone, but I don't know if it
           matters.

    Pattern:
       HiRes
      *Attack
       ElectroBolt
       Attack
       Upheaval
      >Earthquake<
       ElectroBolt
       (repeat from * down)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

}ENEMY{: Taurminator
          Not a very threatening enemy, easy for Infernos. Found in Mount
           Pyre(home).

    Pattern:
       Charge!
       Attack
       Attack x2
      >Inferno<
       Attack
       (repeat)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

}ENEMY{: Tragedienne
          They announce the element they will be using in that battle and
           they will only use the element they announce, so if none of them
           are using anything you want, they won't unless you fight another
           bunch, or run away and try again. They use Volcano, BlackHole,
           and Tornado, along with some non-trappable elements and techs.
           Found in the Tower of Gheddon and third upper portal in the Bend
           of Time.

    Pattern:
       (announced element)
       Attack x3
       (repeat)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

}ENEMY{: TutanShaman
          These guys have two completely different patterns, one pattern
           they only follow if the field is red, the other when it isn't.
          Easily found in Fossil Valley(another) later in the game.

    Pattern #1: Non-red Field
       FirePillar
       Weaken
       NinetyNine
       (repeat)

    Pattern #2: Red Field
      >Volcano<
       Attack x3
       MagmaBomb
       Attack x3
       (repeat)

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

2. Unique Enemy and Boss Patterns

This section covers the one-chance-only enemies, like bosses. There
are a few enemies that you only fight once, but don't give you a star,
like the De-Hydrate in Hydra Marshes, those enemies are also included in
this section. I've listed them in the order which they are fought to be as
spoiler-free as possible.

}BOSS{: Fargo
          For his second attack he always uses Strengthen, then each time
           he repeats he goes to the next element in the cycle instead.

    Pattern:
       Attack
       Strengthen->EagleEye->LoRes(on self)->Strengthen->etc.
       Attack x2
       Attack
       Aquaball
      >Carnivore<
       Attack
       IceBlast
       Attack x3
       Aquaball

          A relatively simple pattern to follow, once his HP reaches critical

          elements and then restart his pattern. Be warned, HolyDragSwd

           Pillage) after you've done enough damage. The round she uses
           TsunamiBeam and Deluge in seems to be random, or determined by
           how much damage you've done, so if you want Deluge, you better
           cross your fingers on this one, or wait for an easier capture.
           She heals from blue elements and magic-based techs, but blue

           hits everyone. The Earth Dragon is useless trap-wise, but since
           I have all the other Dragon's patterns listed...might as well...
           Sometimes she just skips doing the low HP part of the pattern

          starts out white, just attacking randomly(also has a non-tech
          move that hits everyone, like a Riddel/Guile's ROd weapons).
         Once you deal enough damage it'll change to the Earth Dragon's
          Backdrop, and change the Feild Effect to (Blue(Yellow(Black) and

         In this Phase he'll switch Volcano and OmegaRed randomly, so I

         Moving onto Phase 5(annoying isn't it?), the field changes to

          lot of Revives for those HellBounds...Anyway,
         On to Phase 6! Black Dragon's den, field changes

          switch back and forth between a single OmegaBlack, and every
          once in awhile he'll throw in his little three-element-combo.
          Not a good place for BlackHoles, but HolyLights and FreeFalls
          are made easy.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
                             E. Tips and Tricks
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

There are a couple ways to trick the game into giving you elements and items,
here are a few.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                                   (1)
             - The Best Way to get Trappable Elements. Period. -
                          - The CusCus Trick -
This is a complete walkthrough of how to get elements from the CusCus, if you
think you can figure it out on your own all you really need to know is that
if you use a non-consumable element on a CusCus, it will use that element
on it's next turn if left alone. If that's too vague, then read on:
This is a great way to stock up on Trappable level 5±3 and 6±2 elements.
First you have to switch the weakest magic users you have into your party,
if you're trying for a level 6±2 element then just pick the weakest character
of that element's color's innate, then give all your characters the worst
possible weapons you have (bone and copper if you didn't sell them), and some
SightScopes and ThirdEyes can help too. Try to get all the character's
stamina values to the same number too (with stamina belts and stamina rings).
Equip the following element sets to your characters:
= Character 1 = Character with bad Strength stat:
Level 1 slot - two Turn elements(TurnRed, TurnYellow, etc.) of the opposite
                color of the element you want to trap
             - one Turn element of the same color of the element you want to
                trap
Level 2 slot - Field Effect element(BlueField, Green Field, etc.)
Level 8 slot - any element(so you can power up to level 8 in battle)
= Character 2 = Character with bad Magic stat(under 30):
Level 1 slot - two Turn elements(TurnRed, TurnYellow, etc.) of the opposite
                color of the element you want to trap
             - one Turn element of the same color of the element you want to
                trap
Level 2 slot - a Level 5±3 element to trap
Level 4 slot - a Level 6±2 element to trap(of their innate)
Level 8 slot - any element(so you can power up to level 8 in battle)
= Character 3 = Character with worst Strength Stat:
Level 1 slot - two Turn elements(TurnRed, TurnYellow, etc.) of the opposite
                color of the element you want to trap
             - one Turn element of the same color of the element you want to
                trap
Level 5 slot - a Level 5±0 trap element to capture Character 2's 5±3 element
Level 6 slot - a Level 6±0 trap element to capture Character 2's 6±2 element
Level 8 slot - any element
Now go to Shadow Forest in Home World and fight any of the CusCus, which are
those monkeys that're walking around. On the second screen of the forest
there's one that is(or was) guarding a treasure chest, if you beat it and
leave the screen and reenter, it always comes back, unlike the rest of the
monsters in the forest. On a regular New Game the male CusCus have 210 hit
points(420 on New Game +), and the females have 190 hit points(380 on
New Game +), so use that info however you want. So, here's how you go about
getting those elements then. If you're trying to trap a blue, red, green,
or yellow element, refer to the first strategy, if you're trying to trap a
white or black element, or, if you don't have any field elements(BlueField,
GreenField, etc), refer to the second strategy.
                     _Strategy #1 - With Field Elements_
1.Enter a battle with the CusCus. Run away and try again if the battle
    starts and there is only one CusCus, if there is a Dodo and/or more than
    one CusCus continue on to 2.
2.Have Character 1 get their element grid up to level 2 by hitting one
    CusCus as many times as needed with (1) stamina attacks.
3.Have Character 3 get their element grid up to the level of the trap plus
    one by hitting the same CusCus as many times as needed with
    (1) stamina attacks.
4.Have Character 3 set the trap for the element.
5.Have Character 2 get their element grid up to the level of the element by
    hitting that same CusCus with (1) stamina attacks.
6.Kill that same CusCus and defend until all characters have 7 stamina.
7.Have Character 3 use a Turn element of the same color as the element
    you're trying to trap on any CusCus.
8.Have Character 1 use a Field Effect element of the opposite color of the
    element you're trying to trap.
9.Have Character 3 use the element you're trying to trap on the CusCus that
    you used the Turn element on.
10.Defend until at least one CusCus tries to use the element you're trying to
    trap, activating the trap and adding one more of that element to your
    element inventory.
11.Run away or kill the remaining CusCus
                                   - note: steps 2-5 can be done in any order
                  _Strategy #2 - Without Field Elements_
1.Enter a battle with the CusCus. Run away and try again if the battle
    starts and there is only one CusCus, if there is a Dodo and/or more than
    one CusCus continue on to 2.
2.Have Character 2 get their element grid up to the level of the element
    you're trying to trap by hitting a CusCus with (1) stamina attacks.
3.Have Character 3 get their element grid up to the level of the trap plus
    two by hitting the same CusCus with (1) stamina attacks.
4.Have Character 3 set the trap for the element.
5.Have Character 1 get their element grid up to level 2 by hitting the same
    CusCus with (1) stamina attacks.
6.Kill that same CusCus and defend until all characters have 7 stamina.
7.Have Character 3 use a Turn element of the same color as the element
    you're trying to trap on any CusCus.
8.Have Character 1 use a Turn element of the opposite color from the element
    you're trying to trap on any party member.
9.Have Character 3 use a Turn element of the opposite color from the element
    you're trying to trap on any party member.
10.Have Character 1 use a Turn element of the opposite color from the element
    you're trying to trap on any party member.
11.Have Character 2 use the element you're trying to trap on the CusCus that
    you used the Turn element on.
12.Defend until at least one CusCus tries to use the element you're trying to
    trap, activating the trap and adding one more of that element to your
    element inventory.
13.Run away or kill the remaining CusCus
                          - note: steps 2-5 can be done in any order
                          - another note: steps 8-10 can be done in any order
Another thing you can take into account when doing these is that if you're
trying this at or below star level 48 you probably won't need to do some of
the steps in the strategies. If you're trying for a green element you can
skip pretty much everything and just get one character with enough power to
cast the trap, then use that, than have another character use the element.
The only times these strategies are really needed are if you have a high
magic stat with the caster, or if you're trying to trap a yellow element.
Without doing everything above, even a yellow character with a 19 Magic
stat can annihilate a CusCus with a single Earthquake-4.
                        - Pip Element Grid Trick #1 -
Pip's element grid are really, really messed up. The programmers obviously
had trouble with the little glitch factory, so you can run into a few
problems with the little evolving squirrel-thing.
The first thing you might notice when you're using him is that on most
occasions his element grid suddenly stops growing. It's completely normal, it
happens to almost everybody. If you save your game after evolving him into
one of his final three forms, and then soft reset, reset, or turn of your
playstation, the glitch goes into effect. In his first form Pip's grid growth
naturally stops after getting two level 6 grid slots, but in all his final
evolutions he gets much better grid growth, going up much like any other
character, but once you trigger the glitch his grid growth reverts back to
the his first form grid growth, leaving him unable to gain any level 7 or 8
slots. There are two ways that I know of to work around the glitch and not
have to worry about not getting grids.
The first one is the most obvious. Just don't turn off or reset the game. If
you don't turn it off the glitch can't catch you, and he'll get all the grids
that he should get in whatever form you choose. Of course, the problem with
this is that the game takes a good forty hours to complete, so you'd be
leaving your playstation on for a long time, which could easily damage the
game, or even the unit itself, so I wouldn't recommend this.
The second was devised by another GameFAQs member, Alex Jackson. He
discovered that, because the turning off of the game was the problem, that
it had to be something with the temporary memory of the game, like how if you
get a game over in some games it'll have the file on your memory card
scrolled down to so you can reload a little faster. With this in mind he
figured out this workaround theory, which completely fixes the problem:
1. Create your file and save before evolving Pip on two different files
2. Proceed through the game and evolve Pip at whatever point you feel like
  bothering with him on one of the files. If you don't know how to evolve him
  I'd recommend the Tumalu/Pip FAQ.
3. Every time you turn off or reset the game first load the file you kept
  from before you evolved Pip, and then evolve him, but don't save, just load
  your other file from there(right after the battle ends go to the menu and
  choose load).
4. Get at least one more star on your further file every time you do this or
  it'll be pretty pointless. Before the 47th star, instead of evolving him
  into the form you use on the further file, evolve him into the opposite
  form(if you use ArchAngel, choose ArchDevil or vice versa). When you load
  from there he'll get the element grid of the form you evolve him into on
  the pre-evolved file, and ArchAngel gets some grid slots ArchDevil doesn't
  get, and ArchDevil gets some ArchAngel doesn't, so you'll have Pip's
  Uber-grid with more grid slots than you can actually get without evolving
  him into both forms on different New Game/New Game +'s, or by using this
  workaround.
                     - Pip's Element Grid Trick #2 -
Another useful thing to know about Pip is that when he evolves the elements
he has equipped aren't removed, even if he switches his innate color and is
wearing innate only elements. Manipulating this little glitch can potentially
lead to having a Pip with up to six different summoning elements and/or six
different other innate only elements, where everyone else is limited to one
color and two summons at most. Equip another party member with some field
elements(bluefield, redfield, etc) and you can pull off tons of summons and
damage in a really short amount of time.
                                   (4)
                         - Pip's Evolution Trick -
This isn't really much of a trick, just a useful observation. Pip can
actually be transformed into any color in any form, so you can actually have
a Black ArchAngel form, or a White ArchDevil form. All you have to do is use
a whole bunch of the color you want(if it's not one that is required for
that form), and use the one third the amount of each of the colors required
to evolve into that form. It's a bit hard to describe well(I had no idea what
the guy meant when he asked about it on the boards), so here's an example:
Total elements used in normal Pip form:
49 Black elements
41 Green elements
42 White elements
42 Blue elements
result = Black Angel Pip
As long as you use more of that one non-angel-color than you use of any
angel-color, and as long as you use it before you reach the 125 points needed
to evolve into Angel form, you'll get the Black Angel.
So with this discovery you can potentially have a Black, Yellow, or Red
Angel or ArchAngel Pip, or a White, Green, or Blue Devil or ArchDevil Pip,
making the "Pip's Element Grid Trick #2" all the more useful in customizing
the elements on Pip.
                     - Viper's Level 7 Tech Trick -
For some reason getting General Viper's level 7 tech has a glitch, which can
be easily manipulated to get up to 99 FlagBearer techs, and 99 Dragoon's
Glory accessories. It's a little difficult to explain, but, here goes:
1. Go to the Termina Bar in Home World with General Viper in your party.
2. Talk to the barmaid and she'll let you into a small room leading into the
    back room of the bar.
3. Go into the back room and examine the flag with General Viper and you'll get
    one FlagBearer tech and one Dragoon's Glory.
4. Go into the small room, but don't go any further, turn around and go back
    into the back room and examine where the flag used to be and you'll get one
    more FlagBearer tech and one more Dragoon's Glory.
5. Just repeat that last step as many times as you want and you'll have all the
    FlagBearers you want, but more importantly, tons of Dragoon's Glory!
I saw this on the message board and tested it out myself, but I don't
remember who posted it, so if the discoverer comes forward I'll gladly put
you into the credits.
                                  (6)
                       - The Duplication Trick -
With this trick you can duplicate almost everything you have, here's what
_won't_ be duplicated:
All summon elements
Mastermune
Einlanzer
Dragoon's Honor
Blue Brooch
All level 7 tech elements
I thinks that's all of them, by the way, these are also the things that
aren't carried over into New Game+ or Continue+
In addition to that, you _lose_ all ALLOCATED BlackHole elements and all
ALLOCATED Field change elements(Blue Field, Green Field, etc). There also
appears to be a glitch with the XX element, when Sky Render was testing
this out after a few dupes he was down to three of them. Sky Render
figured all this out, so hats off to him for that, heh
To do the trick you need at least two save files, one saved after beating
the last boss(stars should be yellow instead of white), and one file saved
on a regular New Game(not New Game+ or Continue+), preferably around 47/48
stars. Here's what you do with those:
1. Load the finished file(with the yellow stars) and choose "Continue+".
    This will bring you to another load screen.
2. Load the regular New Game file and you'll find that all the items and
    elements you had on the finished file will be added to the items and
    elements you had on the regular New Game file.
3. DON'T SAVE, unless you have room to make another file, then you can save,
    just as long as you never save over your regular New Game file with a
    file you have used the finished file to get/improve.
4. Beat the game with your now improved New Game/Continue+ file.
5. When prompted to save after beating it, save over your old finished file
    with this new finished file.
6. Repeat steps one through 5 as many times as you want and you'll get more
    and more of the items and elements you had on the New Game file.
Note: The Dreamer's Sarong, Dreamer's Sash, Slasher, Flea Vest, and Ozzie
      Pants can only be obtained in a New Game+ file, so you can't duplicate
      them, you just have to get more and more of them, the most you'll
      ever need is 3, but I have made files that reached 44 of each, heh...
Updates underway, until then, good luck
