beginning to end. Some people will play it like this, and some others
won't. So if you are just lost and need help in a certain section of the
guide, check your saved game to see the title of the section you are in.
When you find what you're looking for, you may notice that I say something
like, "You've already been here before, so continue on through...", or
something like that. For that, you'll need to search back through the FAQ.
All you should have to do is search the name of the place you're at, like
the Isle of the Damned (Home), and you should find it, as long as you
include the (Home) part after it, because it will take you straight to

Hello, fellow RPG fans! Let me introduce myself. My name is Johnathan
Sawyer, but feel free to call me 'rhyxx' (sounds like 'ricks', if you were
wondering). Welcome to the first complete strategy guide I have created,
and it's for one of Square Enix's best games ever, Chrono Cross.

A Timeless Adventure...
Twenty years after the events in Chrono Trigger, a new set of adventurers
are preparing for a battle that will surpass even space and time...

My purpose for this guide: To make sure that you are able to get a perfect
game, meaning that you can find all items, recruit all of the characters,
and see all there is to see. To sum it up; I will leave no stone unturned,
meaning that there will be spoilers, so beware.

For this guide, I have decided to do a direct walkthrough, which includes
the locations of all of the items in the game, all of the characters you
can recruit, and every side-quest there is. It won't be an extensive FAQ,
so don't expect to find item and armor lists or shop prices. There are
FAQs at GameFAQs that either specialize in this, or are listed in other
FAQs like this one.

I'm sure that I have found everything in the game that can be found.
However, if for some reason I have left something out that should be in

been working on this guide for years, so I have put a lot of work into
this, and I want it to be as complete as possible. I still welcome all

The Key                  Put Disc One of Chrono Cross in your Playstation
:::::::                  or PS2, then press START at the title screen.
                         From there, start a New Game, and turn on the
# = Consumable Element   Vibration function if you have an analog
^ = Trap Element         controller. You can change the hero's name if you
* = Summoning Element    want, but throughout the guide, he will be

You will see an FMV of a fort, then...

[My Party] Serge, Kid, Irenes     ...you'll see an elevator coming up with
[Enemies] Alphabat-(Black)        Serge, a girl named Kid, and one of the
          Cybot----(Yellow)       other people from the game, in which my
                                first game had Irenes. Kid is going to get
revenge on someone called Lynx, and after Serge is called for again,
you'll gain control.

MauveCloud (mauvecloud@mauvecloud.net) did some research on who can be in
your party for the beginning. After 150 tries, he only had 15 of the
characters join, and they were Doc, Fargo, Greco, Irenes, Korcha, Leena, 
Mel, Miki, Nikki, Orcha, Orlha, Poshul, Razzly, Van, and Zappa.

Now would be the time to get used to the controls, and change the
configuration to your preferences. When you're ready, head southwest to
the next area. The other character will wonder what that crystal-like
thing is; Kid thinks that it might be a switch, but she's not sure, since
we cannot reach it yet. Go back to the other room, and then head east and
south to the next room.

Follow the path, and go up the stairs. You can fight the Cybot here if you
want to get used to the battle system. I recommend fighting the enemies
you see here, just for fun, because you're so strong right now. Anyway,
keep following the path to the next area. Follow the stairs west to the
next area. Head northeast, going past all of the stairs you see until you
reach another room.

Here's where you saw the crystal. Walk up to it and press the X to turn
it off. Go back to the previous room, and backtrack to the stairs that
lead to the east. Go up them and fight the Cybot if you wish, and then go
west onto the teleportation pad. Press X and you'll warp upward.

Kid wonders what just happened, since they're now on the outside. She
looks over the platform, amazed that they're so high up. The other party
member will ask you if it felt like your body passed through the floor.
Kid will note that this is some fort, then she'll will ask Serge what is
going on, since he's been acting all weird, then you'll regain control.
Head forward towards the door, and something will start to happen. I
won't tell you the details of the FMVs unless I really want to, just to
let you know. After the FMV, everything goes black and...

[_200G_]. In the lower left part of the room, examine the pots to find a
[_#TABLET_]. Exit out of his room.

I recommend talking to as many people as you can, that way you can have
more fun, for example, when you talk to Marge, you learn why Serge needed
to be up, and when you talk to Marge the second time, you can choose to
have your opinion of what could happen with Leena, so choose either one.
This game has a lot of detail, so talk to everyone. Now you're supposed to
go and talk to Leena, so exit Serge's house.

*[.NOTE.]* For those of you in New Game+, you can obtain Ending #3 by
defeating the Time Devourer right now. Just go to the left part of the
beach and use the Time Egg on the purple wormhole, but only if you're
alone. You can get this up until you talk to Leena at the pier. You MUST
be alone.

Before going to the docks though, there's a lot to do. Talk to the guy on
the left side of the giant swordfish. He asks you what you think
about the sawfish...

[1] Hah, you wish!           Make sure to choose option 2. He'll get
[2] You're probably right!   caught up in the moment, and he'll give you a
                             [_KOMODO SCALE_] for playing along. Go down
into the little area where a woman has set up shop. Examine the pile of
junk to her left to find a [_SHELLFISH_] window frame. Talk to the kid
between the houses on the right. He needs a Komodo Scale for his
girlfriend, or else, she might start liking his friend Lolo! While
standing in front of him, press SQUARE to bring up the Key Item menu, and
give him the Komodo Scale. He'll ask him for it...

[1] Sure, take it!       Choose option 1, since you're a nice guy, and
[2] No way!              since Leena won't take this one. In return, he'll
[3] Sell it for 1,000G   give you an [_UPLIFT_] element. He'll also tell
                         you that Poshul's favorite food are Heckran
Bones, and she'll do anything for one. Now go to the house at the right
closest to the pier.

If you talk to the guy sitting on the bench, he'll give you three hints
on collecting Komodo Scales. Then head right and go down the stairs. Talk
to Kiki's father down here, and at the end of the conversation, he'll give
you a [_SHARK TOOTH_], since he doesn't need it anymore. Talk to him
again, and he says that if you see another him, give him that amulet. Get
out of here and go to the neighbor's house.

Head to the right side of the screen and 'talk' to the barrel four times,
and it will give you another [_UPLIFT_]. Talk to the waitress and she'll
tell you the poem she wrote, and she says that she is going to be a poet
someday, if she can ever get out of this place. Anyway, head northeast and
open the door. Go to where the dog is/was and examine under the left side
of the bed to find a [_HECKRAN BONE_]. Isn't that Poshul's favorite food?
Anyway, open the chest to the right to find an [_IVORY HELMET_]. Leave
this house and go to the one next to Serge's, which is Leena's place.

Check the bucket beside the tree by Poshul's dog house to find a
[_PHOTONRAY_] inside. If you 'talk' to the cat, Leena's grandma will tell
Serge that he was afraid of cats because he was attacked by a panther when
he was little. Anyway, leave this house and go to the lower left part of
the screen to go to the next area.

Go west a little bit and when you reach the stairs, look for a bucket
beside the stairs to find an [_AQUABEAM_], then go inside the house.
Here's a Record of Fate, but you cannot use it since other people are. Go
left and examine the little frame with a symbol on it to find a [_CURE_]
element. Leave the house and go north. Go up to Poshul, the pinkish dog,
and press SQUARE to bring up the Key Item menu, then give her the Heckran
Bone. She'll accept the present, then she'll join your party! As a
reminder, I will use the characters' default names in this guide.

Now would be a good time to put some elements on your grids. Make sure to
have a couple of blue ones on here for Radius's lesson. Then go and talk
to Radius (the old guy in with the cane in blue and white) to start the
lesson on combat. You cannot win (unless you're in New Game+, then beat
him down!), so just listen to what he says and do what he wants you to do.
When it's done, he'll beat you and end the battle.

After that is over, it is time to meet up with Leena. Head to the pier and
talk to her. Leena wanted to go with you to get the Komodo Dragon scales,
but Serge slept in and now she has to baby-sit. She wants you to get three
of them, and she wants to know if that's okay with him. Choose either
option, then you'll be told that once you get three of them, you need to
go to Opassa Beach to meet up with her. It's time to leave, but before you
do, go to the item shop and get some elements if you need to, then leave
Arni Village and go to the World Map.

We're on the World Map, so where do we go? Fossil Valley is blocked off.
We're not allowed in the Hydra Marshes yet; we just left Arni; there's a
secret place by the waterfall called the Divine Dragon Falls, but there's
nothing there yet. We can go to either Cape Howl or Lizard Rock. First,
let's go to Cape Howl. It's west-northwest of Arni.

Cape Howl

[My Party] Serge, Poshul             As you enter, you can see a chest. Go
[Elements] Heal                northeast and then west and open it to find
[Materials] @Bone             a [_HEAL_] element. There's another chest to
[Enemies] Beach Bum--(Blue)   the north, so go around and get the
          SandSquirt-(Blue)   [_@BONE_] out of it. You can go north to the
                              next screen and examine a rock that says
'Serge and Leena forever...', and when you come back to the previous area,
the monsters will be back. I recommend fighting around here until you get
a good amount of gold and get your HP and other stats leveled up a little.
When you're done, head out and go to Lizard Rock.

Lizard Rock
:::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Poshul                     When you enter, push the rock
[Elements] Fireball, #Tablet               into the water so you can pass.
[Equipment] Silver Loupe, Ivory Helmet   Head south a little and fight the
[Materials] @Bone                        Beach Bum so you can get to the
[Enemies] Beach Bum---(Blue)   treasure containing a [_FIREBALL_]. Head
          SandSquirt--(Blue)   west to scare the Komodo Pup through the
          Komodo Pup--(Blue)   hole. Go to the left and push the rock in
 *BOSS*---Mama Komodo-(Blue)   front of the hole, then go around and scare
                               it back into the now-blocked hole. Fight
it, and you'll get a Komodo Scale after the battle. Go back to where the
treasure was and go south to the next area.

Here, you'll see a Komodo Pup walking back and forth by a ledge. When you
approach it, it will run away very quickly. The trick to catching it is an
ambush. Go north by the left side of the ledge and jump onto the green
plant. Go up to a different area, then go south. Now, you have to time the
jump to land right on the Komodo Pup. It may take a few tries, but
eventually you should get it. You'll get Komodo Scale number two when you
beat him!

Now go west. There's a rock to the south, and a chest down in the water.
Solution? Push the rock into the water and break the chest loose. Open it
to find a [_SILVER LOUPE_], then head north to the next area.

First off, walk until you are standing before the bridge. There are some
steps leading down to the southwest. Go down and under the bridge. Open
the chest that has a [_#TABLET_]. Go back up to where you were and follow
the path north and around until you run into another Komodo Pup. Instead
of following it or exiting to the west, keep going southwest, then east,
then jump down the little hole; you'll pop out in the water. Go up the
stairs and get the [_@BONE_]. Then go back down the stairs and go through
the hole to the north, watching out for a Beach Bum that pops out of the
water. Go west and get an [_IVORY HELMET_], then head back to the hole and
jump through.

Now, chase the Komodo Pup until you catch it. In this battle, only use
physical attacks. When they're down, the Mama Komodo comes after you...

receive a Statistics Boost, and a new element slot. I'll still put the
items you get from them.

As Poshul said, we now have three Scales. It's time to go to Opassa Beach,
so exit to the west side of the screen to get to the World Map. Then go
down to Opassa Beach.

Opassa Beach
::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Poshul   Walk to the left and Leena will spot you. She
                           hopes that you didn't wait too long, and she
wonders why Poshul is here. Serge gives her the Komodo scales, and she
thanks him. They start to remember the past, and you'll have a couple of
options to choose from here.

[1] I don't remember.   Make sure to choose option 2. It's very important
[2] I remember.         that you do.

[1] We'll forget it eventually.    Again, choose option 2. Very important.
[2] We'll never forget this day!   It affects the story later.

Soon after, a voice starts to call Serge. A tidal wave will start to
come, Serge will have a flashback, and lights will start to surround him,
and when it's all finished, he is knocked out cold.

An old person will wake Serge up. Serge asks him where Leena went, but
the person only saw Serge there. He tells him that Leena is in the village
babysitting, and he'll leave. Poshul will come back, and you'll regain
control. Head to the right and exit Opassa Beach.

*[.NOTE.]* For those of you in New Game+, you can obtain Ending
#4 by defeating the Time Devourer right now. You can do this up until you
reach Termina.

Out here on the World Map, notice the music has changed, and you have to
go through Lizard Rock again. Do so now.

Lizard Rock (Another)
:::::::::::::::::::::         As you enter Lizard Rock, you'll notice some
                              new monsters floating around. They are Opah
[My Party] Serge, Poshul      Fish, but they're not really hard. Anyway,
[Equipment] Ivory Helmet      go down that hole to the south again, and go
[Materials] @Feather, @Bone   up the stairs to get a [_@FEATHER_] out of
[Enemies] Opah Fish--(Red)    the chest. Jump back through and follow the
          Beach Bum--(Blue)   path down to the bridge, while fighting. Go
          SandSquirt-(Blue)   across the bridge and south to the next
          Komodo Pup-(Blue)   area.

Head south and grab the [_@BONE_] out of the chest. As you head east, a
Komodo Pup will jump off the ledge and ambush you! Hehe, what goes around,
comes around. Go east and then north to get to the next area. Fight the
Komodo Pup and take the [_IVORY HELMET_]. That's pretty much it for now,
so leave here and go to Arni Village.

Arni Village (Another)
::::::::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Poshul

Whoa. First off, the music has changed, the village is now covered with
flowers, and nobody knows who you are. Very weird. Head into the first
house on the right. In place of the barrel, there's a pot. Talk to it four
times, and it will give you an [_ICELANCE_]. Talk to the girl here to find
out that she had given up on her poems long ago, and wonder how you know
about them. After that, go northeast and open the door. Open the curtain
where the chest was before, and you'll find that it is still there. You'll
receive a [_#TABLET_] when you open it. Leave this house.

Hold off of going to the house closer to the pier until we're done with
the next part of this guide, since there's nothing to do there yet. Go to
Leena's house, and check in the same pot as you did last time to find
another [_PHOTONRAY_]. Leave here and go to Serge's house.

Or should I say, 'used to be' Serge's house? Poshul wonders why everything
looks so different. Go into Serge's room and open the curtains so you can
see. If you want to rest, you can talk to the Komodo Pup, but it'll cost
you 100G. In the upper left part of the room, there's a [_MAGMABOMB_] in
the chest, but you cannot see it; it's behind the boxes. As you leave the
house, the owner comes in and wonders why you are in here. Poshul asks him
who lives here, and he says he has lived here for around five years, and
he doesn't know a Marge. He asks you to leave, so do that and go to the
western part of the village.

No one is here now except a cat. Look inside the pot beside the stairs to
find a [_TURNRED_] element. Head into the house. Check the frame again to
find a [_#TABLET_]. If you talk to the person near Gonji, he says that
Gonji is now the chief, and he doesn't know a Radius. Hmmm... head to the
pier.

When you talk to Leena, Poshul wonders where she went. Leena wonders what
Poshul is talking about, and then she sees Serge. She doesn't know who he
is either. She thought that she recognized him, and she says that Serge
looks like the boy who lived next door to her. You can ask who he was or
what happened to him. She'll tell him that about ten years ago, he
drowned. Soon after that, his mother passed away. She says his name was
Serge... Choose whichever option again, and she'll tell you that you can
find his grave up on Cape Howl if you want to visit it, so let's do that
now.

You can stop at the element shop if you want. If you examine her pile of
stuff, you'll find a @Rainbow Shell, but she'll take it from you since it
isn't for sale. Oh well. Leave the village and head to Cape Howl.

why they're after him, and Kid will offer to join.

room. Leena will come in and open the curtains. She's been thinking that
maybe something happened to you that you think that you are Serge. She'll
join you as your third party member.

with Leena and join.

Before you leave the village, head to the house on the right closest to
the pier. Go to the basement.

Here is Kiki's father. Remember that the other guy in your world said to
give his other self that amulet? I suggest you do that. He asks where you
got it, and he doesn't believe it was found by his other self. As you
leave, though, Mojo will tell you to hold on, and he will join your party!
Unless you want to see how ridiculous he is in battle, leave him out of
your party for now. Now it is time to go.

We can either go to the Hydra Marshes, or Fossil Valley. Let's stop at the
Hydra Marshes first.

Hydra Marshes (Another)

Fate if you want, then go to the next area. Go up the stalk and then grab
the [_ELECTROJOLT_] to the west, then head east to the next area.

Talk to the guy here, and he'll see that you are not protected enough.
He'll give you the [_SAFETY GEAR_], so you will no longer be harmed by the
bog near the beginning of the Marshes. Go back down until you're back in
the first area. Go down the log here to the north, and grab the
[_#TABLET_] to the left of it; then go north to the next screen. Go west
and grab the [_BUSHWHACKER_] element. That's all in here for now, at least
that's as far as we can go. Leave the Hydra Marshes and head to Fossil
Valley.

Fossil Valley (Another)
:::::::::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Poshul, Leena                 When you enter, the guards
[Key Items] Heavy Skull, Big Egg, Bellflower    will tell you that their
[Enemies] Mama Dingo--(Red)                     excavation is almost
          Bubba Dingo-(Red)        complete, and to just stick to the low
          Dodo--------(White)      path. Follow the path, then go up the
          Drongo------(Green)      northern path when you can. Talk to the
 *BOSS*-|-Solt--------(Yellow)     guard, and he'll ask you if you're the
        |-Peppor------(Yellow)     exorcists that they sent for. Tell him
                                   that you are, and he'll let you go up.
The guard up here just wants you to stop the noise coming from the skull.
Walk up to the large skull and a little skull will jump out. He says that
he has been waiting for someone like Serge, and will ask to come along to
find the rest of his body parts.

[1] Sure.             Choose option 1, and you'll receive the
[2] Not my thing...   [_HEAVY SKULL_]. Throughout the game, we'll find the
                      rest of his body parts. You're not done up here yet,
so keep going west and talk to the guard down here. Head down this bone
ladder to the bird's nest while the guard shouts out warnings to you.

Down here, go over and pick up the [_BIG EGG_]. The Dodo will go to attack
you. You can run or you can fight. If you choose to fight, don't use
elements. It makes him use a tech called Peck that will kill your
character. Once you beat the next boss, you should come back to fight a
Dodo, but not the one down here by the egg. You'll need to face one that
comes along with a Drongo. Have Kid steal from the Dodo; he has a Purify
element, which removes all status effects, and you can't get that until
later in the game. I'll go more in depth after you beat the next boss.

Go north from here and follow the path to the edge where there's a
[_BELLFLOWER_] that you can pick up. Go back and go down the rope ladder
where you first came up. Go back down and follow the path to where the
exit is. Here are Solt and Peppor again. They'll discover you and attack.

  |*BOSS*|            Again, there's a little tutoring lesson involved
  ***************     here about Turn Color elements. Another simple
[ Solt---(Yellow) ]   battle, Solt first, then Peppor. Use green elements
[ Peppor-(Yellow) ]   as usual, and stay healed.

*[.NOTE.]* This battle will unlock your first tech on your grid at level
3. If Kid is in your party, you can now Pilfer items.

Since she has Pilfer, you can steal from the Dodo now. The strategy I had
in here at first was this:

Go up to the second area and fight a Drongo, and a Dodo should come with
one. Just make sure Kid's element grid is at 3, and she has 7 stamina,
then Pilfer it. The bird will go nuts, so then choose Defend for all
three characters and hope Peck doesn't kill them.

Sometimes, it didn't really work, but I stole it somewhat often.
MauveCloud (mauvecloud@mauvecloud.net) sent me this bit:

I tried the strategy listed in your guide for stealing the "Purify"
element from a Dodo in Another's Fossil Valley, but if I do it exactly as
described (i.e. Kid's stamina at 7), Kid would very often miss. I
discovered that if I attack a few times first (say a level 1 attack
followed by a level 2 attack, which brings the level 1 hit probability to
99% if I remember right), she seems to never fail to steal an item (it's
just a matter of whether it's the "common" item or the "rare" item). I
think the chance of success for the "Pilfer" tech is tied to hit
probability.

It makes a lot more sense, so go ahead and get Kid's probabilities as high
as you can before you steal, and you should come away with it just about
every time. Don't get discouraged if you get a @Feather; just run away and
try again if you do. Just make sure to Defend or kill it afterward so it
doesn't use Peck on you.

Anyway, once you're done with all that, head out of Fossil Valley. Out
here on the World Map, Shadow Forest and Viper Manor are blocked by
dragoons, so let's go to Termina.

Termina (Another)
:::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Poshul, Leena          As you enter, you'll hear a woman
[Records of Fate] Inn                telling a young dragoon that they are
[Equipment] Profiteer Purse        out of Bellflowers. After a short talk,
[Window Frames] Tea For Three      he'll leave, and you can explore the
[Characters] Kid (Red)             town. First off, head up the stairs and
                                  you'll find Kid. She'll notice Leena and
                                  walk off for now.

Before going up the next set of stairs, I recommend exploring. Stop at
Lisa's and get some elements, and Leena will drop something off for Lisa.
You can go to Zappa's Smithy by going right from the first screen and up
at the second. You can get some @Copper weapons/armor made if you have any
@Copper. Leave the Smithy and go to the big northern house. This is the
house of Gogh, and his son, Van. Van is an artist who is very unhappy
because his father is never home and never spends time with him.

Anyway, on the first floor behind the stairs is a [_PROFITEER PURSE_]. I
missed this the first few times I went through. Thanks to Brian for the
info and to Andy for confirming it. You might want to consider equipping
it on Serge or someone else you'll fight with, because even though it
doesn't seem like that much extra, after a short period of time, you have
a lot more than you'll expect or that you'll need. Anyway, leave the house
and go south back to the previous screen.

If you keep going to the right, a man will be showing off his mermaid to
some kids. A boy named Korcha will climb up the bridge and scare them off.
He'll bad-mouth the merchant, then he'll leave. If you need any materials
for making weapons and armor, talk to the guy again and you can trade
elements for materials that you may need. Continue to the right and go
down the stairs.

Go south and a guy will stop you and tell you if you don't have any
business here at the shrines that you leave now. He'll leave, but you need
to be here for a minute. Keep going south-southeast and follow the path
until you reach the young dragoon named Glenn and a young lady, Miss
Riddel.

They don't have any Bellflowers to pray for the deceased today, but Glenn
will notice that you have one. He'll ask if he can have it...

[1] Give it for free.   Choose option 1 to give it for free. If you really
[2] Ask for money.      need the money, you can get 90+G from him for it.
[3] Sorry.           He'll take it, and they will do what they need to
             do. They talk about how the dragoons are acting funny lately,
since a beastly-guest arrived at the manor. They'll leave, and you'll
regain control.

Go back to the second area, the one to the right of the first. A
guy is trying sell Viper Churros, but they're not doing well. He's selling
them for 100G, and he asks if that good or bad...

[1] Too much.       Pick option 1, then tell him to lower it to 50G. Come
[2] About right.    back and talk to him again, and he'll give you one for
[3] That's cheap.   free since they're selling so well. It'll revitalize
                    you. Now, go back to the first area you were in, and
go up the second set of stairs.

First check behind the house on the left to find a guy back here. Tell him
that you understand, and you'll receive the [_TEA FOR THREE_] window
frame. Now, go into the house to the right and go to the right side of the
room and look out the window. The guy selling Viper Churros is doing
pretty good. It's important that we see this, as we'll come back to him
later in the game.

Go and talk to the guy polishing Viper's statue. He goes on talking about
how great Viper is and how he was invited to the manor, and how great it
was. Kid shows up and says that they need to sneak in. She'll want to join
your party again. Accept this time, and she'll give you a [_TELE-PORTER_].
It is like the PHS from FF7, which allows you to switch characters at the
World Map or at a Record of Fate.

Decision Point 1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now you have a choice to make. This is where the story splits into three
different branches. There are three people who will go with you to break
into Viper Manor; Guile, Nikki, and Pierre. Each has a different path,
and you can only recruit one of them per game. If you are a beginner, I
recommend choosing Guile's path because it's a little easier because he's
strong. Choose Nikki's path if you want an extra couple of items, but it's
a little longer than the previous path. Take Pierre's path for a
challenge with a whopping two items.  I will have the walkthrough for all
three paths, starting from the former to the latter. Go to s1.5071 for
Guile's path, s1.5072 for Nikki's path, and s1.5073 for Pierre's path.

*[.NOTE.]* For those of you in New Game+, you MUST recruit Nikki to view
Ending #6.

and under the bridge and you'll see Korcha. He'll agree to take you to
Viper Manor if you pay him 100G. Pay him, and you're off to the back of
Viper Manor!

Viper Manor Bluffs (Another)
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

          Loch Nest---(Green)      When you arrive, don't go up the ladder
          Acacia PVT--(Yellow)    yet. Go to the right where you can see a
 *BOSS*-|-KingMoaman--(Black)    little bid of ground. Go across and go up
        |-BlueMoaman--(Blue)     that ladder. A dragoon will see you
        |-RedMoaman---(Red)      coming up, and will start hurling
                                 boulders at you.

Follow the path around and at the bottom of the ladder, try not to get
blown off of it yet. Go up the ladder and grab the [_HEAL_] at the right
side. Go back down, and this time get blown off by the water stream. When
you land, grab the [_PHOTONRAY_], then go down the little vine. Climb up
the ladder here this time.

After you're off of the ladder, climb the next one, and then at the next
one, get blown off. Open the chest to find a [_#TABLET_] and then crawl
down the vine to the left. Get back to where you were, don't get blown
off, and climb to the top of this ladder. Now there are three ladders to
choose from. The right leads to a dead end, the left leads to a chest with
a [_METEORITE_], and the middle leads to the next area.

Here, you can either go left or right up the ladders. Go left first, and
then left when you stop climbing. Climb up this ladder, and don't get
blown off. At the top, go right and grab the [_^FREEFALL_] element. Go all
the way back to where you could go left or right and go right. Keep going
up until you can go up or down to the left. Go down to the left and then
go left and up that ladder. Go up the final ladder to reach the top.
You'll be attacked by the dragoon.

You have to fight two Acacia PVTs. They're really easy. No strategy
needed.

[Spoils] Summon Star #4, 320G, Tablet OR PhotonRay (x2)

Right after, he'll throw a rock, which will go off of the screen. The
KingMoaman will show up and throw him off. Get prepared, and then face
the boss.
  ________
  |*BOSS*|               First off, kill the BlueMoaman so he won't Cure
  ******************     the KingMoaman. Then take out the KingMoaman,
[ KingMoaman-(Black) ]   followed by the RedMoaman. As long as you do it
[ BlueMoaman-(Blue)  ]   in that order, you should be fine, especially
[ RedMoaman--(Red)   ]   with Guile's WandaIn. Make sure to steal a
  ******************     @Copper from the KingMoaman before you kill him.

                               the way to the left side and then go up the
pink stairs. Go in the door here and talk to the guy on the right side of
the screen; he says that Nikki is missing, and that Miki should be back
soon because she's looking for him. She'll walk in and tell him that he
went into Shadow Forest. She'll ask you for help. Accept, and it'll be
time to head off to the Shadow Forest!

[Characters] Nikki (Blue)      can't hurt you, but they'll be of some help

          Cassowary-(Yellow)   the next area. Climb up on the banks, fight

Some Cassowaries are attacking Nikki, so run over there and help him. The
monsters attack Nikki, and then Nikki attacks them, and then it's your
turn. Wipe them out.

After the battle, Nikki will jump off and go under the waterfall. Go
around and follow him. Go up to him and talk to him. Kid will wonder why
he just ran off without thanking them, and she wants to know who he is.
She recognizes him, and he wants to find his sister who is in the manor.
He'll tell you something if you let him join. Let him join, then he'll
want to play a song for you. You'll refuse, but he will tell you that you
can get to the Manor through the well, but a monster is blocking the way.
Nikki noticed that the monster blocking their way needs to eat to wake it
up, thus the blob monsters that you saw. You have to feed the blob so the
blob will follow you and become food. Nikki wants to sing, but they'll
leave. Out here, go back into the waterfall.

Go in here and read the note. It will tell you a more complicated version
of what Nikki said, and with it, an [_ANGRY SCAPULA_] for Skelly. Open the
chest beside the note to get the [_AROMA POUCH_]. Leave the waterfall.

Start to go back the way you came on this screen, but stop at the fork
that goes back the way you came. You should be between two giant pollen
balls. Go northwest and examine this pollen ball to take a piece of it
with you. Go all the way back to the entrance area. Now, you have to run
by the blob so it will start to follow you, but don't let it eat the
pollen. If it does, go back to the pollen ball and try it again. Don't run
too much, or it will lose interest if you get too far ahead. When you get
to the Quadffid, it will wake up and eat it. Before you battle, it will
shrink since it ate the red blob. It will be scared and give you the
[_SKULLDUGGERY_] window frame. If you gave the Quadffid a different blob,
you will have to fight it. Anyway, head west to the next area.

As you walk towards the tree, Solt, Peppor, and Zoah will jump down from
the tree and attack you.

  |*BOSS*|            Like usual, there's a tutoring lesson here. They
  ***************     brought a Summoning element with them, and when they
[ Zoah---(Yellow) ]   use it, it doesn't work because the field effect
[ Solt---(Yellow) ]   wasn't all yellow. They gripe at each other, and
[ Peppor-(Yellow) ]   then it's your turn. Like usual, get rid of Solt
  ***************     first, then Peppor, then Zoah. If you do not get rid
                          of one of them quick enough, they'll use the
[Spoils] Summon Star #5   Crosscut double tech, which may kill one of your
         460G             party members.

Zoah will decide to let you through and jump to safety. Go to the
northeast edge of the screen to find a chest containing a [_HEAL_]. Enter
the hole in the tree. Follow the path and grab the [_MAGMABOMB_] along the
way. Keep going to the next area. Walk until you reach the Gerridaes, and
then dash in between them to get to the land. Walk up here past the rock
and kill the Wraith.

After you do that, push the rock in front of where the Gerridaes are
coming from. Go back down and walk upstream to the next area. Keep going
until you reach a hole. You can see a chest, but you cannot reach it at
this time, as a matter of fact, not for a while. Go through the hole, and
you'll see that you're at the bottom of a well. Kid will suggest waiting
until nightfall. Go to section s1.5074 to continue.

[ s1.5073 - Ze Path of ze Swordsman, Pierre... ]
  ============================================

[My Party] Serge, Kid, Leena   Go to Zappa's Smithy. Inside, go to the
[Key Items] Hero's Medal       the left and go down into the next room. Go
[Equipment] Hero's Medal       to the right, and talk to Pierre, who has
[Characters] Pierre (Blue)     lost his Hero's Medal, and without it, he
                               won't be able to go into the manor. Exit to
the south. Talk to the boy running around, and he'll have found something
super, which is a medal that fits on his chest. You'll tell him that
someone is looking for that, and since he wants to be a hero, not a thief,
he'll give you the [_HERO'S MEDAL_]. Go back inside and give it to Pierre.
He'll thank you, and if you talk to him again, he'll ask you to accompany
him to Viper Manor. Accept, and Pierre will join your party. Now it's time
to go to Viper Manor. Make sure you're well equipped and then leave
Termina. I would go to Lizard Rock or somewhere and fight around to try to
get your stats up a little before going. Whenever you're finished, go to
Viper Manor.

Viper Manor (Another)

[My Party] Serge, Kid, Pierre   As you walk toward the gate, Pierre will
[Elements] TurnYellow           try to smooth talk his way in, but the
[Enemies] Acacia PVT-(Yellow)   dragoons don't want any 'street
          Acacia SGT-(Yellow)   performers'. He'll come back, and try to
 *BOSS*-|-Solt-------(Yellow)   decide what to do.

If you choose option 1, you'll just fight two Acacia SGTs, then the boss.

When you face the SGT's, try to steal the Bronze Helmet from one of them.
Other than that, they are simple.

Allocate something in your new element spot, and make sure everyone's
healed up. When you open the gate, Solt and Peppor will show up, and start
a battle.

  |*BOSS*|             At the beginning, Peppor will call out Ketchop and
  ****************     he will scream 'TOMATO!' and knock out Serge, and
[ Solt----(Yellow) ]   then he'll scream out 'SAUCE!', followed by
[ Peppor--(Yellow) ]   'TOMATO!!!' again. Start off without Serge for a
[ Ketchop-(Yellow) ]   couple of hits, and then Solt will revive Serge.
  ****************     Peppor wonders why he did it, and he says that he
                          wants them to see Ketchop's Power. (Ketchop
[Spoils] Summon Star #5   screams 'SAUCE!' again). Heal Serge, and then
         500G             attack Ketchop. I usually use TurnRed on Pierre
         Silver Earring   so he won't get hurt so much by red attacks,
         #Brace           such as FlameKnock. No matter who you attack,
         Copper           after a while, he will first scream 'TOMATO!',
                          then he will use FlameKnock, in which he bashes
Peppor to use him as a ball, and uses Solt as the bat! That kills them,
and it hits one of your party members, probably killing him/her too. When
one of my characters die, I just run away, heal, and go back in. It's a
good thing you can run away whenever you want. It's very helpful. Give him
everything you've got, and make sure to keep everyone alive! You want them
to get stronger after the battle, right? After a while, he'll go down.
Tough battle.

After the battle, go behind the gate and grab the [_TURNYELLOW_]. Then
when you go to enter the manor, Pierre recommends waiting until nightfall.

In here is a Record of Fate that you may want to use by now. Head north
and talk to the old man. He thinks that you're the new helpers. Tell him
that you are, and he'll tell you to feed the dragons. Kid asks him if he
has the key, and he says he'll give it  to you if you feed the dragons. 

[1] Sure.
[2] What do I do?   Choose 2 to learn how to do it, and 1 to feed them.
[3] No way.         Once you complete a round, you'll receive a prize.

 10x = Knee Pad        It is well worth it to get the Iron Vest, but it is
 20x = Bronze Helmet   kind of hard. What I always do is always tap X as
 30x = Bronze Mail     fast as I can while going back and forth really
 40x = RecoverAll      really fast without even thinking of who needs the
100x = Iron Vest       and it usually works. When you've completed one of
                       them, the old man will tell you that the key is in
the cabinet. Grab the [_MANOR KEY_] and be on your way. Exit this
building.

*[.NOTE.]* The easiest way to do this is if you're in New Game+ or
Continue+ is to just slow time down with the Time Shifter and go back and
forth. Very easy to get 100. It just takes a little longer.

Head south and then west to get to the second area. Follow the brick path
to the north, and the soldiers guarding the entrance will spot you. When
you fight the Acacia SGTs, try to Pilfer their Bronze Helmets. Even if you
don't need any, just disassemble them for their @Copper. Anyway, if you
played Guile's or Nikki's path, head west to the front gate and grab the
[_TURNYELLOW_], then head back. Go north to find an [_#OINTMENT_] at the 
corner of a wall. Go down to the entrance and open it up.

In here, both of the side gates lead to dead ends, so go forward and
examine the snake statue. Turn it however you want, because no matter what
you put in, you'll fall into a trap door. The dragoons down here can't
believe that you fell into such a weak trap. Kid will start to taunt them,
and because of her, they'll let you out to fight them. Beat them up, and
then you'll take their clothes for disguises.

Go down the set of stairs. Examine the chest here to battle a set of Boxer
Boys. In these kind of battles, attack one of them to see if you win a
prize. If you don't, run away and try again until you get it right. You'll
receive an element. It's an [_ICELANCE_] if the Li'l Boxer has it, and
it's an [_AEROSAUCER_] if the Big Boxer has it. Go back up the stairs and
go through the left gate. Then go in the first room you come across.

Talk to Glenn, and he'll need to write something down so he can remember,
and then he'll leave. Go to the northeast corner and grab the
[_DRAGOON'S HONOR_]. Go into the western portion of this room, and open
the cupboard to the north and get the [_TURNGREEN_]. Then leave the room,
and go to the next door to the left.

Use the Record of Fate if you want to, and then go up. You'll see Glenn
looking at the wall, and after he leaves, examine it. If he's already
standing beside his bed, just look at the wall between the flag and the
pillar on the wall, and you'll see the message. It will show you the
password for the snake on the 1st floor. Go to the western end of the room
and at the bottom right, there's a [_REVIVE_] in the chest. Leave this
room and go up the stairs.

Enter the first door here. There's a Harlequin sleeping on the couch, and
there's two chests in this room. One contains a [_TURNBLACK_], and the
other is a Boxer Boy. You'll win the [_ICELANCE OR AEROSAUCER_], and then
leave the room. The parlor next to the room you were just in is locked for
now, so make your way back down to where you first dropped down because of
the trap. Go through the right gate. If you talk to the guys guarding the
treasure vault, they'll ask for a password.

[1] I don't know!              Though they give you four choices, DON'T
[2] Long live General Viper!   PICK ANY OF THEM! Just wait a little while,
[3] Karsh rules!               and they'll let you in because the password
[4] Dragoons forever!          is silence.

As you enter, Kid will notice that there's a lot of treasures, but no
Frozen Flame. There's another Boxer Boy beside the entrance, get the
[_ICELANCE OR AEROSAUCER_], and then raid the pillars for a
[_BRONZE SWORD_], [_BRONZE MAIL_], and a [_HERO'S SHIELD_]. Examine the
vase by the picture on the wall to fight a Potty, and you'll receive a
[_TURNRED_] after the battle. Examine jewel on the wall, and to take it,
no matter how you do, and you'll receive the [_SILVER PENDANT_]. You'll
then be thrown to the other side of the wall and trapped in a cage!

A woman named Luccia will notice that you are not really dragoons and are
now trapped in the cage. She'll let you out, and then she'll sick her
Neo-N-Bulbs on you.

[Spoils] Summon Star #6, 400G            They're really easy.
         AeroSaucer OR EagleEye (x2)     Just attack and stay healed.

Luccia will see that you are strong, and will let you go. Before you
leave, go to the western corner of the room and talk to Pip, the little
fluffy white creature. He wants to escape, but can only do so if you open
his cage quietwy. He can join your party later, and he is a whole
adventure on his own, so choose 1 to be able to get him later. When you're
finished, leave the room, and Luccia will tell you that she is willing to
help you, but not yet. Now leave.

If you want to, have fun trying to beat up the Roborg without having a
party member or two die, and then enter the next room to the right, while
looking out for the Portalgheist on the door. In here is the armory, and
it has a lot of traps. Open the chest you see for a [_BRONZE HELMET_], and
then examine the shield on the wall. Decide to take it to receive the
[_DECOR SHIELD_]. Look at the soldier against the wall without a shield.
Open your Key Item menu and give him the Decor Shield to get in a fight
with some Man-Of-Wars and a Man-At-Arms.

After you beat them, move the snake statue that's in the middle of the
room and put it in the little square to the northeast, just like the other
one is. A door will open up where the shield was. If you try to get to the
chests in this room, some steam coming from the snakes will burn you, so
we'll check this out later. Leave the room, then head up the stairs.

If you go in the first door, you'll find Zoah. Examine the chest to wake
him up, but you can't open it; only Zoah can. You can ask Zoah questions
if you like. Leave the room and go into the next room, which is Karsh's
room. You can talk to Karsh and ask him questions too. When you're done
with that, attempt to open his chest. If you keep doing it twenty times,
Karsh will give in and let you have the [_DRAGOON GAUNTLET_].

Exit this room and go left back to the room where the snake statue is.
Input the code that you got in the dragoons' rest area is, then go up to
the second floor. Go to the left and onto the bridge outside, and then go
across the bridge and into the library.

Go up the stairs and talk to Marcy. She'll wonder what you are doing here,
and you'll ditch your disguises. An old man, who will describe himself as
the Prophet of Time (doesn't that sound familiar, Chrono Trigger
veterans? He was one of the gurus from the past during the Kingdom of Zeal
who was blasted far into the future. He created the Wings of Time, and
a lot of other stuff, as you'll find out. This is Belthasar). He
recognizes Serge. He will explain that there is another world just like
this one, which is where Serge came from. Something happened to Serge ten
years ago in this world, and about how both worlds are opposite lives to
everyone, and that they're somehow connected.

If you press the START button on the World Map, you can change the option
of having the map display which world you are in. Anyway, if Nikki is with
you, he'll ask Marcy if that's her real name, and he'll tell her that she
is his sister! Marcy denies it strongly, while Nikki still stands by his
discovery. After that, the prophet will give Marcy permission to fight
you.
  ________
  |*BOSS*|         Marcy is tough! She can freeze your characters with her
  ************     techs and IceBlast, and she's a pretty good magic user.
[ Marcy-(Blue) ]   Just give you everything you got, make sure to make use
  ************     of your red elements, and make sure to heal and revive
                          your characters. You can steal a Silver Loupe or
[Spoils] Summon Star #7   Dancing Shoes if you get lucky.

She'll run off, and the prophet will tell you to go to the third floor. To
lower the elevator, you'll need to push the switch on the second to last
pillar on the left. Before you leave, go up and lower the ladder, and then
get the [_TURNWHITE_]. Leave the library and go across the bridge. You'll
meet Harle in here, and after she talks, she'll leave. Check out the
button on the second to last pillar and push it. When you do, you'll have
to fight the guards. Then go up to the third floor.

There's a Record of Fate to the left, and the door to the left is closed,
so head to the next door. Examine the glowing object on the desk, and Kid
will think that it may be the Frozen Flame, but she says that it isn't.
General Viper will come out. He wants to know who you are, and then Lynx
will come out. Kid will recognize him as the person who ruined her life.
Kid will challenge him, and you'll fight Lynx.
  ________
  |*BOSS*|         Another tough battle. Heal seal Serge's white elements,
  ************     so be sure to use Dash&Slash right off. Then use your
[ Lynx-(Black) ]   best white elements that you can use. Be sure to heal
  ************     and revive your characters. Most of the time, his
                          HellSoul and HellBound will be successful, so if
[Spoils] Summon Star #8   one of your characters die, and you can't Revive
         500G                them, then it'd be a good idea to start the
         Pendragon Sigil C   battle over. be patient and you should do
         OR Gravitonne       fine. You can steal a Magic Ring if you want
                             to or if you can.

He wants to know why Serge is here, and if he wants to live again, in this
world. Serge will stare into the Dragon Tear and see something being
destroyed, and then you'll see the Frozen Flame.

He will tell Serge that there's going to be an enmity between Serge and
the world, and that it is history, not prediction. Riddel will then walk
in, and Kid will take her hostage and will try to escape. After you reach
the balcony, she'll realize that she's trapped. Kid will drop Riddel as
Lynx throws a poisoned dagger at Kid, in which she'll fall off of the
balcony. Lynx will try to capture Serge, who is the assassin of time...
the Chrono Trigger!

Serge will then jump off of the balcony into the ocean...

*[.NOTE.]* When the menu comes up, take all of the elements off of Kid,
and take off her good equipment. She won't be joining you for a little
while. You may also want to save while you can.

[Key Items] Astral Amulet         will tell you that your friends are
                             outside. Leave the house, and you'll see your
friends. Kid will then pass out, and Korcha suggests taking her to the
doctor in the village.

Doc says that she has been poisoned with Hydra Venom, and that you need
some Hydra Humour to cure her. The Hydras in this world are all dead. What
are we gonna do? Doc will leave and Harle will show up. After teasing the
'chicken-hawk', she'll take a look at Kid and then leave.

Kid will want to talk to you. She'll give you her [_ASTRAL AMULET_], and
tell you about where angels lose their way, then she'll go back to sleep.

                                         go see the shaman in the village,
and then you'll leave the doctor's office. Korcha will wait at the boat,
so before you go to the shaman, talk to the girl out here and tell her
that you want to trade. You don't have to trade, but exit after it and
she'll give you a [_PELVIC BONE_] for Skelly, if you accept. Head west to
the smithy here if you want, and then go west to the next area.

Go north into the bar, and you'll see Doc talking to Orlha about his
problem with Kid. Orlha will try to reassure him, and then you'll regain
control. You can't go in there right now, so head up the ladder, and go
in the tent here if you want to buy some elements. Leave the tent, then
head northeast to the next screen before we see the shaman. Don't go into
the actual tent here; head around to the back and always face the tent and
you should enter a hidden room. There's a chest in here containing a
[_FEATHERY DRESS_]. Thanks to Brian for letting me know this was here.
Leave here, and head back to the area with the element shop. Then head
west to the next area.

Here is the Dragon Shrine. Enter, then talk to Direa and Steena as much as
you want to learn whatever you need to know. All you need to know for now
is that to get back to the other world you need to go to the Land of
Genesis, a.k.a. Opassa Beach.

After you're done, head out of here and go back to the bar. Talk to the
Dwarf here and he'll give you a [_GREEN TINKLER_], which will manipulate
the plants in the Hydra Marshes. Now, head to the docks to where Korcha
is. Talk to him so you can leave for Termina.

Termina (Another)

[My Party] Serge, Leena, Nikki                            As you arrive in
[Equipment] Brass Rod (If Guile is in your party)      Termina, a guy will
[Characters] Korcha (Blue)                             yell at you for
             Greco (Red)      docking your boat here, and Korcha will give
                             him some Dragon's Glory to drink. Korcha will
then join your party. There are a couple of things to do here in Termina.
If Guile's in your party, go to the fortune teller and she'll give you a
[_BRASS ROD_]. Go to where the shrines are where you saw Glenn and Riddel,
and you'll see a priest named Greco sending off a boat. After that event,
follow him into the house. If you talk to him, he decides that he'd like
to help you find your way. Accept to let him join your party.

That's all there is to do here in Termina, unless you want to upgrade your
equipment or buy some elements. After you're finished, head out to the
World Map.
                                                 
Go to Opassa Beach. Walk forward and you will seen the wormhole that
connects the two worlds. Use the Astral Amulet there, and you will warp
to the other world. Leave Opassa Beach.

Here, there's nothing new or surprising at Arni, unless you want Leena to
meet Leena, so go straight to Hydra Marshes.

          Quadffid---(Green)    and go north. Go up the stalk and get the
          Dwarf------(Yellow)   [_CURE_], and then go back to the first
 *BOSS*---Hydra------(Yellow)   area and go west to the next area.

Talk to the guy at the entrance and he'll finally let you through. Go east
and around the corner to find a chest containing a [_@FEATHER_]. Go back
and go west instead. As you follow the path, you'll see a fairy spirit. At
fork here, go down the log and east and grab the [_@BONE_] to the south.
Then go back and go north. Go up the stalk and get the [_CURE_], and then
go back to the first area and go west to the next area.

Follow the path, and you'll see the Wingapede pass over you. Keep
following the path and get the [_#BRACE_] to the north. Then go west to
the next area. Here, you'll see a Beeba. He'll fight you, and then after
the fight, you'll receive the [_BEEBA FLUTE_]. You need to go to a wide
open space to blow it, not right here. Use the Record of Fate, and then go
to the next area.

Follow the path north, and when you're given the option, choose the first
one to attack the Beeba. After the battle, get the [_BUSHBASHER_] that was
behind him. Go back and northeast and up to the next area. Now, blow the
Beeba Flute here, and the Wingapede will come. It's not as friendly as the
Beeba said, and it will attack you.

It's not a boss battle, but it's not really easy either. Just do your
best and keep healed, which should take care of it. Make sure to heal
fully after the battle, consumables or not!

After you beat it, walk over the crack until it breaks. You'll land on the
Pentapus. Go south and go behind the cage and get the [_RECOVERALL_] out
of the chest. Make sure to allocate it on someone; you'll need it! Talk to
the fairy in the cage, Razzly. When you do talk to her, the Pentapus will
wake up. Uh oh!

Another hard, non-boss battle. Make sure to stay healed, and attack your
hardest. That's all I can say.

After the battle, free Razzly, and then you'll explain what has been
happening. Then she'll join your party. Go to the northeast and get out of
the hole.

Go to the edge and jump off to the north. Go northeast and grab the
[_AEROSAUCER_]. Then go west and north to the next area. Fight the
Quadffids if they're in the way, and go northeast to the next area.
There's a Record of Fate here; I recommend you use it. Go south and follow
the path to an [_#ANTIDOTE_], and then go southeast to the next area. Head
south and then go east at the second path, and go into the hole to find an
[_#OINTMENT_].

*[.NOTE.]* The last chest will be empty if you chose not to help Kid.

Head back to the Record of Fate and go northeast. You'll run into Dwarf
Chieftain, and he, with the other dwarves, will attack you.
  ________
  |*BOSS*|                   Kill one of the DaffyDwarves so they don't
  **********************     use HihoWarChorus on you. They'll still use
[ Dwarf---------(Yellow) ]   HihoChorus with just three of them, but it's
[ DaffyDwarf x3-(Yellow) ]   not as strong, but it does enough damage. If
[ DaggyDwarf x2-(Yellow) ]   you fought a bunch of Quadffids, you should
  **********************     have some Bushbashers. They're useful against
                             the Dwarves so use them if you have them.
[Spoils] Summon Star #9   MagmaBombs are also extremely helpful. Just keep
         650G             attacking and healing, and you'll be fine.

They will run off to where the Hydra is. First, go northeast just a little
until you are in a little section of green water. Press against the
southern wall and force your way around until you are in a tiny, closed
off section with a [_#MEDICINE_] to the north. Go back and save if you
need to, and then proceed to where the Hydra is. DO NOT PUT RAZZLY IN YOUR
PARTY FOR THE BATTLE WITH THE HYDRA. You'll know why later. Anyway, this
is the battle that counts.

  |*BOSS*|           Give it all you got. Watch out for PutridOdor, as it
  **************     will take over 50 damage, so remember to heal,
[ Hydra-(Yellow) ]   revive, attack, and just stay alive. Bushbasher and
  **************     other green elements work nicely, as does your
                           stronger elements such as IceBlast.

After that, the Dwarf will say something to you about how all humans do is
destroy. He'll leave, and you'll get the [_HYDRA HUMOUR_] when you examine
the dead Hydra. On the way out, you'll notice that all of the dwarves have
left the forest.

That's all we need from this forest, and we never need to come back. Leave
the Hydra Marshes. Head back to Opassa Beach, switch worlds, and then go
get your boat. Get back to Guldove.

*[.NOTE.]* For those of you in New Game+, you can obtain Ending #6 by
defeating the Time Devourer. You can do this up until the end of your
trip to Fort Dragonia. You MUST have Nikki AND Razzly in your party.

Guldove (Another)

[My Party] Serge, Leena, Nikki     After choosing someone to take Korcha's
[Characters] Kid rejoins           place, head over to the doctor's. Give
                             the Hydra Humour to Doc, and he'll be amazed.
                             All we can do is wait.

Doc will come out and tell you the good news. He'll want to know the story
too, after you speak with Kid. She gives her thanks and then she'll go
back to sleep. Doc now knows the story and understands it. After some more
talking, he'll call it a night.

During the night, Korcha's sister, Mel, comes in and steals Kid's elements
(even if none are on her grid).

The next morning, Kid will want to know if Serge will continue on, and
then he'll see some flash backs and forwards. Kid wants to know if you're
going to just go home...

[1] Go back home.          Choose 2, and you'll decide to go after Viper
[2] I won't go back yet.   and Lynx to figure out what's going on. Korcha
                           will charge you 300G for his ferry rides. Kid
will rejoin the party, and then she'll notice that her elements are
missing. When you leave the room, Mel will be standing there and she'll
tell you that she took them and that you have to catch her. Kid doesn't
think that she should waste the time trying to get them back, but...

[1] You need those Elements.   Choose option 1. Kid will be persistent
[2] ...It's nothing.           about letting Korcha get them later...

[1] ...Alright, let's go.     Choose option 2 to start chasing Mel. First,
[2] No, let's go after Mel.   check the Dragon Shrine and talk to the guy
                              in front of it. Then head over to the
residential tower. Eventually you'll catch her.

She'll be crying, and then you'll get your elements. Mel will get mad
because Kid is teasing her. Now it's time to go. Korcha will temporarily
leave the party, and you'll still be at the residential tower. For now,
you can't recruit Mel, but come back later when I say so.

Back at the docks, talk to Korcha and you can go back to Termina.

Termina (Another)
:::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Kid, Leena       Go to the entrance and you'll see Glenn
[Window Frames] Guldovian Stitch   talking to the flower woman. He'll be
[Characters] Korcha rejoins        talking about how all of the dragoons
             Mel (Yellow)     and the General went to Fort Dragonia, and
                            he is going to go there by himself. After some
talking between your party members, Glenn will recognize Kid and Serge as
the people that Karsh was looking for. He will start to threaten you and
the flower lady will slap him, seeing that his brother would have never
approved of Glenn's actions. Glenn will then apologize, and you won't see
him for a while, if you do ever again. Before he goes, he'll tell you that
you need to stop at a small island where a former dragoon named Radius
lives to ask for his advice.

He'll leave, and now you need to go back to Korcha. Talk to him, and he'll
let you have the boat on two conditions. First off, you have to give him
the Dragon Tear if you ever find it, and condition number two is that Kid
marries him when it's all over. You can put in your opinion if you want,
but no matter what Serge says, he'll get bagged. She won't agree to
anything just yet. He'll then ask to join you, so accept. If you don't put
him in your immediate party, he'll swim back to Guldove!

Now, go back to Guldove and, with Kid in your party, talk to Mel. After
she's done talking, Mel will give you the window frame
[_GULDOVIAN STITCH_]. Then she will join your party!

Now we're done here, so get in your boat, and park it where it says
Termina. Go to section s1.509 to continue.

Guldove (Another)

Korcha will leave, and you need to choose your new party. Leave the
doctor's office. Talk to the girl out here and tell her that you want to
trade. You don't have to trade, but exit and she'll give you a
[_PELVIC BONE_] if you accept. Head west to the smithy here if you want,
and then go west to the next area.

Go north into the bar, and you'll see Doc talking to Orlha about his
problem with Kid. Orlha will try to reassure him, and then you'll regain
control. You can't go in there right now, so head up the ladder, and go
in the tent here if you want to buy some elements. Then head northeast to
the next screen. Don't go into the actual tent here; head around to the
back and always face the tent and you should enter a hidden room. There's
a chest in here containing a [_FEATHERY DRESS_]. Thanks to Brian for
letting me know this was here. Leave here, then go around to the front and
enter here.

This is the residential tower; Talk to Korcha, and he'll ask if you have
something to say. Ask to borrow his boat, he'll refuse to let you use it
since he doesn't want anything to do with you. Macha will come in and will
want to hear the whole story and why Korcha won't let them have the boat.
After that, Macha will take the boat herself and let you use it. Before
leaving, she wants you to visit the village shaman. She'll run back in and
give you the window frame, [_TROPICAL PARADISE_]. Anyway, the shaman's
tent is to the west of the element shop.

Here is the Dragon Shrine. Talk to Direa and Steena as much as you want
to learn whatever you need to know. All you need to know for now is that
to get back to the other world you need to go to the Land of Genesis.

After you're done, head out of here and go back to the bar. Talk to the
Dwarf here and he'll give you a [_GREEN TINKLER_], which will manipulate
the plants in the Hydra Marshes. Now, head to the docks to where Macha is.
Talk to her so you can leave for Termina.

Termina (Another)
:::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Nikki, Leena                            As you arrive in
[Equipment] Brass Rod (If Guile is in your party)      Termina, a guy will
[Characters] Greco (Red)                               yell at you for
             Glenn (Green)     docking your boat here, and Macha will tell
             Macha (Red)       him off. There are a couple of things to do
                             here in Termina. If Guile's in your party, go
to the fortune teller and she'll give you a [_BRASS ROD_]. Go to where the
shrines are where you saw Glenn and Riddel, and you'll see a priest named
Greco sending off a boat. After that event, follow him into the house. If
you talk to him, he decides that he'd like to help you find your way.
Accept to let him join your party.

Unless you want to upgrade your equipment or buy some elements, go to the
exit of town. You'll see Glenn talking to the flower woman. He'll be
talking about how all of the dragoons and the General went to Fort
Dragonia, and he is going to go there by himself. He'll leave, so go back
to the boat at the docks.

Talk to Macha, and she'll want to know what you're going to do.

[1] Straighten things out.   I always pick 1. She'll wonder why they went
[2] Live quietly.            to Fort Dragonia, and she'll let you borrow
                    the boat. Glenn will then come and ask Macha to borrow
the boat. Then Macha will suggest letting him join, and he'll ask you. You
better let him join. He's the only reason I don't help Kid! He'll tell you
that you need to stop at a small island where a former dragoon named
Radius lives to ask for his advice. After that, Macha will as you if you'd
like her to join the party. Accept, and then Macha will join your party!
If you don't put her in your immediate party, she'll swim back to Guldove!

Now we're done here, so get in your boat, but park it where it says
Termina. Go to section s1.509 to continue.

Okay. Now that you have a boat, there's so much to do. First off, if you
followed Guile's Path, you need to go through the Shadow Forest and get
all of the stuff there. If you followed Nikki's Path, you need to go to
the Viper Manor Bluffs. If you followed Pierre's Path, you need to do
both. Refer to those sections earlier in the guide (s1.5071 for Viper
Manor Bluffs and s1.5072 for Shadow Forest). After you're done with those,
go to the Hydra Marshes here in Another World.

Hydra Marshes (Another)

          SnibGoblin--(Green)    then go to the next area.

Use the Record of Fate if you want, and then go southeast and follow the
path, grab the [_@COPPER_], and then go to the next area. Go south and
then go east at the second path. In the hole here, you'll find a
[_GOOD BACKBONE_] for Skelly. Go south and around to find the [_#TABLET_].
From here go south again to find a [_@COPPER_] that you had seen earlier.
Head back to the Record of Fate.

Go northeast into the last puddle of bog before the next area, and press
against the southern wall and force your way through a path until you are
in a tiny area. Grab the [_BATEYE_] to the north, and find your way back
out. Then go northeast to the next area. You'll see a SnobGoblin and a
SnibGoblin arguing over a chest, and then they'll attack when they spot
you. After you beat them, take the [_LIFE SPARKLE_]. Leave the Hydra
Marshes.

Go to Viper Manor.

Viper Manor (Another)
:::::::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Glenn, Leena                          Beat up the Roborg
[Equipment] Sight Scope, Silver Earring, Daemon Charm   and then enter the
[Key Items] Parlor Key                                  manor. Go up to
[Window Frames] Porre's Furnace        the library. Go behind the desk and
[Characters] NeoFio (Green)         examine it; you'll find a way down. As
             Luccia (Black)     you climb down, you'll see a very familiar
[Enemies] Roborg-(Yellow)       device if you're a Chrono Trigger veteran,
                                Epoch, the time machine. It seems to be
dysfunctional, though. Anyway, talk to the Beach Bum (or the Nu from
Chrono Trigger) down here and he'll give you the [_PORRE'S FURNACE_]
window frame. He can change the character's name that is at front. Press
SELECT to change the order of your party. Leave the library and go to the
balcony where Kid fell off.

You'll see Luccia up here, experimenting with a flower called NeoFio, but
it won't come to life unless is has a Life Sparkle. Walk up to it and give
the Life Sparkle to it, and NeoFio will come to life and join your party!
Luccia will ask you to come to her lab, but before you do, climb the
ladder near the pond and get the [_SIGHT SCOPE_] out of the chest.

In Luccia's lab, she'll be freeing the dishwasher from the cage, and he
claims that he wasn't snooping around, and will quickly run off. Look on
Luccia's desk to find a [_SILVER EARRING_]. Talk to Luccia, and she will
wonder what you want, if Pip isn't there. Ask her to join you, and she'll
accept since Pip is no longer with her.

Remember the door that was locked on the first floor? That's the Parlor.
There was a soldier in B2 that was going to hide the Parlor Key. Go
downstairs from where you fell into the trap before. Sure enough, the
[_PARLOR KEY_] is in the bucket. Go and unlock the Parlor. Open the chest
in here to receive the [_DAEMON CHARM_], which protects against AntiBlack.
That's all here in Viper Manor for now, so leave here.

There are many places to go, but let's stop at Hermit's Hideaway like
Glenn suggested. Save before you enter.

Hermit's Hideaway (Another)
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Glenn, Leena     As you enter, you'll see that the place
[Enemies] Harle-(Black)           has been torched. Harle has done it, and
                                  she'll ask you if you want to know why
she burned the place down. If you say yes, she'll say because, first, to
teach you a lesson, and second, to get rid of the old geezer who lives
here, who, unfortunately, isn't there right now. She'll then fight you to
slow you down.

She's really easy. Just attack with Serge and use the white elements.
After the battle, you may receive the Moonglasses! If you don't get them,
reload the game and try again. They're very well worth it, though it may
take a very long time. I usually give up after 5 or 6 tries, but they are
very, very nice. I've been told to try steal the Moonglasses from her by
attacking a couple times to raise your accuracy, then using Pilfer. It has
worked for me only once, but feel free to try if you like.

She'll leave, and it's a good thing that Radius was gone. He shows up and
tells you that he went into hiding just in case something like this
happened. He'll see Glenn (if he's in your party), and he'll invite you in
to talk.

He'll talk to you for a while, and then mention Lynx, and he doesn't know
what Lynx wants with the Frozen Flame. He will warn you to be careful with
Lynx, and he'll let you stay the night. He'll also mention something about
a Ghost Ship, and to beware of the sea. Remember that.

Leave Hermit's Hideaway.

Now, we can go almost everywhere. First stop, Isle of the Damned. It's
right beside Hermit's Hideaway.

Isle of the Damned (Another)
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Glenn, Leena        This island is for much later in the
[Materials] @Eyeball                game, so don't get in a fight with any
[Key Items] Mixed Bones           monsters. Go north, and then all the way
[Enemies] Airframe---(Black)      east until you hit the wall beside the
          WillO'Wisp-(Red)        stairs, then go south and get the
                                 [_@EYEBALL_] out of the hole, and then go
north up the three sets of stairs. Go west and get Skelly's
[_MIXED BONES_]. That's all we have for now, so leave.

Next stop, Water Dragon Isle. It's south of Arni.

Water Dragon Isle (Another)
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Glenn, Leena       As they've said, all of the water has
[Materials] @Iron x4               dried up here, but there are good items
[Key Items] Sturdy Ribs        to get here. Go north down the pillar, then
[Enemies] Scorpoid-(Blue)      west, and then up the ladder to find an
                              [_@IRON_]. Back to the pillar, go northeast,
up a ladder, up another, and down one to find another [_@IRON_]. Go back
to the pillar and go north and up the ladder. Go north, but before going
up this ladder, talk to the guy to your right. He has Skelly's
[_STURDY RIBS_]. That should be all of Skelly's parts, so all of the key
items that have to do with him will disappear, and he'll run off, saying
that he'll help you later. Go to the next area.

There are fairies floating around here. There's an [_@IRON_] to the
northwest of the entrance and there's an [_@IRON_] to the east of the
entrance. Okay, that's all for this Water Dragon Isle.

Now, let's head back to Termina.

Termina (Another)
:::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Glenn, Leena    Go to where Viper's Statue is, where the
[Characters] Skelly (Black)       guy that always polished it is. Go into
                              the house to the right. Talk to the old lady
here, and Skelly will appear! This is his grandma's house. Leave the house
so he can visit, and then come back in. Talk to Skelly again, and, since
you helped him out so much, he'll ask if he can return the favor. Choose
to let him join your party! While you're in Termina, I recommend building
up your weapons and armor with the @Iron you found at Water Dragon Isle.
Leave Termina, and head to Earth Dragon Isle.

Earth Dragon Isle (Another)
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Glenn, Leena           *[.NOTE.]* I got some interesting
[Elements] #Brace, #Capsule, Upheaval    info from MauveCloud:
[Enemies] Fossicker---(Yellow)
          Bomber------(Black)        "I think that you have underrated the
          YellowBelly-(Yellow)     first opportunity to fight in Another's
                                 Earth Dragon Isle. I looked at DBM11085's
"Enemy List", and you can steal Mythril from Fossickers, and they still
have a good chance of dropping a Mythril at the end of the battle.

I got about 13 units of Mythril before even going to the pirate ship S.S.
Invincible in the fog. Unfortunately, DBM11085's "Shop Guide" is a bit
misleading, since even after visiting the pirate ship, Zappa's smithy does
not allow you to forge mythril items.

Fossickers are also good for stocking up on "Shiny" materials, because
after they use their tech "BombsAway", they usually stick to physical
attacks, making it easy to fill the field effect oval with a single color
in preparation for a summon. Once in a while, the Fossicker will use
"BrightEyes" a couple times, but one time that happened while I was trying
to collect Shiny Dew (by summoning *FrogPrince), I just ran away and tried
again. I also ran away if there was a YellowBelly or a RockRoach (yes, I
did see one of the latter with a Fossicker in Earth Dragon Isle, but only
once), since they would probably make it a lot harder to fill the field
effect oval."

So to sum it all up, Fossickers are great for @Mythril and to get @Shiny
Materials. We'll get to those and the summons later when we get some.

Go north and jump down the big hole. As soon as you land, run to the right
so you don't drop off at the left. Go down the ladder on the left and go
south to find a [_#BRACE_]. Go back up that ladder and go down the one to
the right. Don't go into the sand boil yet. The enemies here are strong
too so watch out. Go down the ladders and south to the next area. 

Go west and around to find a [_#CAPSULE_]. Go down the ladder and follow
the path until you reach an [_UPHEAVAL_]. That's all here. Go back to the
sand boil and jump in so you can leave. This may cause a sprain.

Back out on the World Map, you can go to Marbule, but the only thing there
is a shop that sell kind of expensive attribute effect elements. There's
nothing a Sky Dragon Island, and you can't access Gaea's Navel or Sea of
Eden. There's also a Forbidden Island. For now, there's only a demi-human
living in the house. It's a little smoking island north of Mt. Pyre,
almost directly off of the coast. There's nothing at the El Nido Triangle.
The only place to go now is Mt. Pyre.

On your way there, you'll run into some thick fog, and you cannot see...

*[.NOTE.]* If you chose to not help Kid, these two battles made up for the
stars that you would've missed from the Dwarves and the Hydra. Your star
total should now be 10 for either game.

After those battles, Fargo will put you to sleep. In this dream, Serge
will again dream of the panther attacking him. He'll wake up and you'll
see that there's something going on outside. A CrossBones will come in and
attack you. After you beat it, use the Record of Fate if you want to, then
go outside.

*[.NOTE.]* Make sure you talk to EVERYBODY you come across. Talk to them
two or three times, and they'll tell you they don't have the key.
Otherwise, the guy at the end of hall on the top floor won't have it.

If you examine the door next to where you came out of, you'll notice that
it is locked, and that key duty is important. We have to find the key.
Start moving to the west, asking who has the key. Keep going, and enter
the first door. I recommend fighting all of the monsters because most of
the time, you'll receive @Iron after the battles. Grab the [_AQUABALL_] in
here. Exit and go to the next door, watching out for Wraiths that
magically appear. This one's locked, so go past the ladder here and grab
the [_FIREPILLAR_] beside the door. This door's locked too, so go back and
head up the ladder.

The doors to the west are either locked or blocked, so go east and into
the next room. The pirate is lying on the floor, but there's no ghost.
It's a hidden Wraith, and after you take care of it, take the
[_#PANACEA_]. You can't go to the next door through the hallway, so go to
the northeast corner of the room and climb into the ducts.

In this room, get rid of the Wraith and grab the [_#CAPSULE_]. Go back out
in the hallway and talk to the guy in front a couple times and he'll ask
the two guys who has the key. One of them will give it to you. Go all the
way back to the door and the key will unlock the door. Before you go
upstairs, go into the second door on the left, the one beside the Record
of Fate room. If you talk to the pirate in here, he will give you an
[_@IRON_]. (Thanks to Justin Shuen (ortel_34@hotmail.com) for the letting
me know that I missed this item!) Leave the room and go upstairs.

A Dead Beat will rush and attack you, so waste him and go to the next
area. If you talk to the pirate here, he'll offer some home made vitamin
drink. Refuse, because most of the time, it will poison you, unless you
need healed and you have spare time, then do it because you'll be healed
eventually. Follow the path down the ladder, and keep going to the next
area.

There are a lot of monsters here. Follow the path, and you'll see Pip!
When you talk to him, he'll run off. Follow him and talk to him again.
He'll run again. He seems to disappear, but he's hiding in the
southeastern corner of the fence. Talk to him again, and he'll run off.
Finally, follow him one more time and talk to him. He'll tell you that he
is hiding on this ship so he can see the world, since he's been trapped in
a cage all of his life. He'll want to join your party so he can see more
of the world. Either way, he'll join your party, so pick whichever one you
want.

Just to let you know, Pip is different than any of the other characters.
As he battles, he can change forms depending on the elements he uses. If
Pip uses Red, Yellow, or Black elements, he will turn towards the
Devilish side, and if he uses Blue, Green, or White, he will turn towards
the Angelic side. Any mix of the two sets of elements can result in a mix
between the two sides. For more details, check out Boko Kun's FAQ at
GameFAQs.

Okay, now that you found him, get the [_#CAPSULE_] in the northeastern
corner and the [_GRAVITONNE_] on top of the crates. Go east and up the
stairs. Grab the [_PHOTONBEAM_] and go outside. There's a Record of Fate
up here, so I suggest you use it. Go up the ladders until you get to the
deck.

The pirates tell you to look out, and you'll battle a Wraith. They'll tell
you to go help the captain. When you do, he'll get rid of them, and tell
you to take the wheel. Pick either option, and you'll head up to the
wheel. After Fargo yaps some more, you'll enter a boss battle.

After you beat them, the sea will return to normal. Fargo will let you go,
and before you go, he'll suggest going to the Water Dragon to get his
protection for Mt. Pyre. (If Nikki's in your party, he'll ask Fargo if he
ever had any children. Fargo says that they both died, and one of them
would've been about his age...)

You'll be back on the World Map. You need the protection of the Water
Dragon, but he's not here in Another World. We need to go back to the Home
World. If you chose not to help Kid, you need to go to Guldove now.

Guldove (Another)

[My Party] Serge, Glenn, Leena   At the doctor's office here in Guldove,
[Key Items] Astral Amulet        you'll see the bed is empty. While you
[Characters] Kid rejoins    think that Kid may be dead, she'll walk in and
             Doc (White)   wonder why Serge is all sad. After this and some
                           talking, you'll find out that a mysterious
person has given Doc the Hydra Humour. Kid will rejoin your party, and
shortly after, Doc will also join your party.

Kid will tell you that, to get into Fort Dragonia, you'll need the Dragon
Tear, which was the blue orb on Viper's desk. Once you're done with the
conversation, Kid will remind Serge of the "Land of Genesis" that the
Shaman was talking about, meaning that they'd have to go to Serge's Home
World to get the Water Dragon's protection. By having Kid rejoin your
party, you'll get the [_ASTRAL AMULET_]. Now all the people should have
the Astral Amulet, no matter which scenario you played. We need to go to
Opassa Beach and go to the Home World by using the Astral Amulet on the
glowing green wormhole.

Once you exit Opassa Beach, you'll be back at the Home World. If you
chose not to help Kid, you need to go to Hydra Marshes. Refer to that
section earlier in the guide (s1.5081) for the locations of everything/
whatever.

Now, to get to Water Dragon Isle, you need to talk to the guy at the docks
in Arni. He'll take you there for 100G. Bring Razzly with you if she's in
your party.

Water Dragon Isle (Home)
::::::::::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Kid, Razzly                           The old man will
[Records of Fate] First area, Before the Water Dragon   mention that he
[Elements] AquaBall, IceBlast, Nimble, *FrogPrince      doesn't see any of

[Materials] @Iron                      usually here. Anyway, we've got to
[Key Items] Ice Breath          find our way around. Jump on this first
[Enemies] DaggyDwarf-(Yellow)   lily pad. Next, jump to the northwestern
          DaffyDwarf-(Yellow)   one, then the southern one, then this
          Dwarf------(Yellow)   northwestern one. Follow the path and go
 *BOSS*---Hi-Ho Tank-(Yellow)   up the ladder to find an [_AQUABALL_].

Go back and jump on the lily pad, and then jump on the northeastern one.
Now jump on the northern one, and then the southeastern one, followed by
the next southeastern one. Go up the ladder here, and down the next one to
find the [_ICEBLAST_].

Go back two lily pads and then jump on the northeastern one. Use the
Record of Fate, and then go north up to the ladder, but don't go up it.
Go east under the arch, and check behind the waterfall to find an
[_@IRON_]. Go back and go up the ladder to the next area.

Oh no! The dwarves have attacked Fairy-ville and killed all of the fairies
here. Razzly will be shocked to see what is happening. I suggest killing
all of the dwarves, for revenge and for fun. To the east of this entrance
is a [_NIMBLE_]. After you're done slaughtering Dwarves, go north and up
the middle ladder to the next area.

Go forward and you have to face Dwarf Chieftain and some other Dwarves.
  ________
  |*BOSS*|                   Just use multiple attacks such as Gravitonne
  **********************     and MeteorShower. Actually, if you use
[ Dwarf---------(Yellow) ]   Razzly's level 3 attack twice successfully,
[ DaffyDwarf x3-(Yellow) ]   and then a multiple attack or two, that
[ DaggyDwarf x2-(Yellow) ]   should be enough to finish them all off.
  **********************     They shouldn't pose too much of a threat.

[Spoils] Summon Star #12, 650G, ElectroJolt(s) OR Upheaval(s)

They'll decide to retreat for now, and they want you to follow them. Keep
slaughtering the Dwarves, and then go north and up the ladder. Go outside
and grab the [_MAGIC RING_]. Go back in and down the ladder, and then
southwest down this ladder, and then south to the next area.

Use the Record of Fate to the west, and then head down both ladders. Go
into the hole under the waterfall, kill the Dwarf, and get the
[_SCALEY DRESS_]. Get out and go down the ladder to the west. Go east and
face the Dwarves one last time.

  |*BOSS*|                Concentrate everything on the Hi-Ho Tank, and
  *******************     use multiple attacks to get rid of the two
[ Hi-Ho Tank-(Yellow) ]   Dwarves. Watch out for the ElementShot. It has
[ Dwarf x2---(Yellow) ]   various attack colors and it beats the crap out
  *******************     of whomever it hits, so make sure to heal them.

[Spoils] Summon Star #13, 800G, Knee Pad OR Iron, Upheaval x2

After the battle, the Dwarves still wonder if humans were meant to destroy
everything. They will then die, and you'll see Rosetta. Go over and
examine her. Razzly will try to wake up her sister, so she wants to stay
with her. Get a different party member, and continue deeper into the cave.

You'll see the Water Dragon in here. He knows why you're here, and he'll
give you his [_ICE BREATH_]. It will quench even lava. Then he'll give you
a [_*FROGPRINCE_] summon.

After some wise words, you'll be back at Fairy-ville. The fairies here are
blaming the humans because they drove the dwarves here. After they're done
accusing you, Razzly will decide to stay with you and apologize to the
fairies.

If Razzly isn't in your party, Kid will pass out and have a nightmare of
the past. She'll wake up in the dark, and she'll talk to Serge about the
past, and why she's after Lynx.

Go back to the entrance and talk to the old man so you can go back to
Arni.

Arni Village (Home)
:::::::::::::::::::

[My Party] Serge, Kid, Glenn      Here in Arni, go talk to the girl in the
[Key Items] Book of Poems         restaurant who wrote the poems. If you
                             talked to her other self, she'll give you the
[_BOOK OF POEMS_] to give to her other self. That's the only thing new
that I've found, so head out of here and go back to Another World.

Arni Village (Another)

[My Party] Serge, Kid, Glenn      Go to Arni in Another World and show the
[Materials] @Rainbow Shell       girl the Book of Poems. She won't look at
                                it for now, but for showing her and giving
her hope, she'll give your very first [_@RAINBOW SHELL_]! Head out of
Arni.

Now, go to Hermit's Hideaway. Here, check the gray spot on the ground near
the entrance of the underground bunker. Use the Ice Breath on the ground,
and it will say that vegetation can grow here again. You'll find out why
you did this later. Leave Hermit's Hideaway.

Now that you have the Divine Protection, head to Mt. Pyre!

*[.NOTE.]* Sometimes, even if you didn't go to Water Dragon Isle, you
STILL won't get a star for this battle. Then, there WON'T be a battle to
make up for losing it, at least, not anytime soon. I would've been best if
you went to Water Dragon Isle, and I hope you did... I still don't
understand why though...

After they run off, go northeast and then east at the fork and go to the
next screen. Freeze the lava here, and go down the southern path. Grab the
[_MAGMABOMB_] down here. Go east and you'll slide back down to the first
area.

Go north to where you were, and keep going north and follow the path to
the next area. Don't freeze the lava yet, and go northwest and quickly
grab the [_^INFERNO_], and heal before the Lava-boy attacks you. Freeze
the lava and go east and up the stairs to find a [_#CAPSULE_]. Go down the
stairs and go east to find another [_#TABLET_]. Go back and north, up two
ladders, and follow the path to a Record of Fate. Go to the next area.

Go forward and you'll see a huge creature, but it's not the Fire Dragon.
A little Fire Dragon will come and challenge you.

  ****************     He's actually kind of hard. Just attack and use
[ FireDragon-(Red) ]   your best blue elements. Keep your HP up, and
  ****************     Revive if necessary. If you went on the Ice Breath
                                 quest, you'll receive your 14th Star. If
[Spoils] Summon Star #13 or 14   you didn't it'll be your 13th.

         Weaken OR Magic Ring

He'll tell you that you weren't bad, and he'll disappear. Go back and
save, and then start going north across the bridge. Karsh, Zoah, and
Marcy will show up, and you'll have to fight them.
  ________
  |*BOSS*|           Try your best by just attacking and using your best
  **************     elements. Now might be a good time to try using your
[ Karsh-(Green)  ]   *FrogPrince summon that the Water Dragon gave you.
[ Zoah--(Yellow) ]
[ Marcy-(Blue)   ]   Have Leena with *FrogPrince equipped. Equip at least
  **************     one RecoverAll or HealAll on the level 1 grid for
                                 each person, and that Serge has two blue
[Spoils] Summon Star #14 or 15   elements on his level 1 grid, and Kid has
         2330G                   one. Have Serge, Kid, and Leena attack
         EagleEye OR             until their grids are at level 5. Defend
         Silver Earring   until they are all at 7.0 stamina, and those
         Gold Earring     three have attacked. Make sure Leena has
         Iron Vest OR    *FrogPrince on her level 5 grid. Have Serge cast
         Dancing Shoes   a level 1 blue element, then have Kid do the
                         same, and then have Serge do it again. Switch to
Leena and have her cast *FrogPrince. That should wipe them out, and if it
doesn't, use attacks to finish whoever's left. You may get some @Shiny Dew
from casting *FrogPrince, if it finished some of them off, but you may
not. As with the last battle, your Summon Star amount will vary if you did
or did not go on the Ice Breath quest.

*[.NOTE.]* After this battle, a lot of your characters will receive their
level 5 tech, if they went on the Ice Breath quest. If not, they'll get
it after the next boss battle and you will all be caught up.

After that, they can't believe they lost. They'll retreat, and then Harle
will show up as you try to leave. She wants you to leave, but she wants to
know if you'll keep going.

[1] Keep going.    Choose option 1, because we're not chicken, right? She
[2] Give up now.   is worried about Serge, because she doesn't want him to
                   die. She'll then leave, and when you regain control,
follow the path back out to the World Map.

You'll see the FMV that you saw at the beginning of the game now, plus
his flash forwards...

Before going to Fort Dragonia, I recommend stopping back at Termina to
stock up on elements and upgrade your armor. You won't be able to do it
for a while.

When you're ready, head to Fort Dragonia.
