Hello, fellow RPG fans! Let me introduce myself. My name is Johnathan
Sawyer, but feel free to call me 'rhyxx' (sounds like 'ricks', if you were
wondering). Welcome to yet another strategy guide I have created, and this
time through, it's for one of my favorite Playstation RPGs, Grandia.

Grandia is the story of a young adventurer named Justin, who has always
wanted to follow in his father's footsteps to be the greatest adventurer
in the world. Before his father died, he left Justin with what he called
a "Spirit Stone". While on a trip to the Sult Ruins near the Port Town of
Parm, Justin and his friend Sue stumble upon a secret of the legendary
Angelou civilization. A mysterious woman, Liete, sees Justin's ambition to
become the greatest adventurer in the world, and if he wants to know the
secrets of the legend of Angelou, he must head east to Alent. This is
where the true adventure begins.

My purpose for this guide: To make sure that you are able to get a perfect
game, meaning that you can find all items, explore all of the areas,
including the Special Stages, and see all there is to see. To sum it up; I
will leave no stone unturned, meaning that there will be spoilers, so
beware.

For this guide, I have decided to do a direct walkthrough, which walks you
through the whole game step-by-step, leading you to the locations of all
of the items in the game, strategies for fighting the bosses, and even the
walkthroughs of the optional special stages. It won't be an extensive FAQ,
so don't expect to find item and armor lists or shop prices. There are
FAQs at GameFAQs that either specialize in this, or are listed in other
FAQs like this one. However, I have included what it takes to learn the
Moves & Magic, because it's one of the essential parts of the trademark of
the Grandia series, the battle system.

I'm 99% sure that I have found everything in the game that can be found.
However, if for some reason I have left something out that should be in
here, feel free to email me at rhyxx.FAQ@gmail.com to let me know. I've
been working on this guide for years, so I have put a lot of work into
this, and I want it to be as complete as possible. I still welcome all
contributions!

My Directions for Grandia
:::::::::::::::::::::::::

N My directions revolve around the compass. The red bar on
      | the compass means north. In town, the compass will spin
NW | NE around, but in dungeons, it will point to your next
\|/ destination. The closer you get, the faster it spins. You
W----x----E can change the destinations with the L2/R2 buttons. By
/|\ pressing SELECT in towns, you'll activate the TownScope,
SW | SE which will allow you to see the town from high above. In
      | dungeons, you will find blue icons that are DungeonScopes,
S which allow you to see that area from above. When the
compass is facing north, you can hit R1 twice to make it go
to northeast, so just once would be north-northeast, then you go up from
there to go in that direction. If it is between two directions, such as
north and northeast. I'll just combine them like before. I don't know if
that confused you, but try to go along with it.

After putting Disc 1 of Grandia in your Playstation, start a new game,
and watch the cool, extremely long intro that you cannot skip. After that
section of the intro, you'll see a man on a ship; he is General Baal. He
just woke up after he had another certain dream. He asks Colonel Mullen,
his son, where they are at. Mullen replies that none of the soldiers
should hear Mullen call Baal father, and Lieutenant Leen is still there.
She is going to be a very important part their plans, so it doesn't
matter. They are planning the third and final excavation of the Sult
Ruins, hoping to find what they are looking for. After an automated voice
tells them the time, the view ports will open and you will see Parm. Here
we go now!

*[.NOTE.]* Your true level doesn't really affect much. The levels that will
really boost your statistics are your weapon and magic levels. My Level is
just to let you know where I am, though, the higher your actual level, the
more it shows of how much you battle and train up your weapons.

[My Level] Justin [2], Sue [1]
[Save Points] Port of Parm, Lilly's Seagull Restaurant (Lilly)
[Stashing Places] Justin's Living Room
[Gold] 100G
[Items] First Aid Kit, Poison Antidote, Wound Salve
[Key Items] Apron, Iron Pot, Pot Lid, Wooden Sword, Gantz's Key, Letter to
Clara, Marie's Pin, Spirit Stone, Intro Letter

Here in the Town of Parm, you'll see a little girl looking around town for
someone. After a long time of running, you'll see a big guy knock our
hero, Justin, out of his shed. Justin is an adventurer looking for
treasure. The girl, Sue, will meet up with him and tell him that she has
found one of the Four Treasures that they need to find. You'll receive the
Legendary Armor, which is a dirty [_APRON_]. They wouldn't be in this mess
if Justin hadn't have accepted Gantz's dare. If they lose, Sue will have
to marry Gantz. They'll go to take the treasure to show Gantz.

*[.NOTE.]* I suggest that you talk to everyone that you can. Some of it is
just for extreme humor, the rest can be essential to the story. If you
cannot see something, use the L1/R1 Buttons to move the screen around.
Okay, enough with the technicalities. Let's get on with it!

When you talk to Gantz, you'll show him the Legendary Armor. Talk to him
again and he can give you hints to where two of the treasures are, but
since you're reading this, you don't need them. It's even better if you
look in the back of the manual that came with this game, which tells you
exactly where they are at. If you don't have it, just follow my
directions. From the bridge, head northwest and follow the riverbank down
the stairs. Go west and you'll find the Warrior's Helmet, which is a
battered [_IRON POT_]. Go back to the bridge and then go north until you
reach the Port of Parm.

There's a Save Point to your east. Go northwest, and then you can see the
Shield of Light propped up against the building to the south. Grab the
[_POT LID_]. Leave the Port of Parm and go back to the bridge. Show Gantz
the Shield of Light and the Warrior's Helmet. Talk to him again and he'll
tell you that the Spirit Sword is in his house, inside a treasure chest.
He wants you to find the key to it.

First, let's go to Gantz's house. From the bridge, go north past one
house, then go directly northwest. Check the chest in the western corner
of the house. It is locked, so talk to Gantz's mom. She'll tell you that
Gantz gave the key to his brother Tentz after lunch. Great, now we have
to find Tentz. Leave Gantz's house.

Head south past just past Gantz's house, then go west until you see a
brown-haired boy to your south. When you talk to Tentz, he'll start
crying. Tell him that you will tell Gantz and he'll tell you that he lost
the key over by the Cafe. Go south and, on your hands and knees, go to the
southern edge by the river. It should be directly in the middle. Tentz
will be glad that you found it, and he'll give you [_GANTZ'S KEY_]. Then
he'll tell you to follow him to his house to get the Spirit Sword.

Back at Gantz's House, examine the chest to find the Spirit Sword inside,
which is just a plain old [_WOODEN SWORD_]. I recommend equipping this on
Justin, since it is stronger than your Wooden Pole. Leave here, and go
back to the bridge.

Gantz and his gang will be getting chewed out for blocking the bridge. As
you walk by, they'll figure out that Justin and Gantz were having a duel!
Justin and Sue will make a break for it and run into the Seagull
Restaurant.

They're relieved that they got away. Go into the kitchen and you'll meet
Justin's mom, Lilly, while Justin meets the tray chop in the head! She
doesn't allow dirty shoes in the kitchen, and she'll kick you out of the
kitchen. After some smart comments by Sue and Lilly to Justin, you'll
regain control after he says that he's been getting in trouble. Talk to
her again, and she'll scream at you. When she asks what you've done, you
can reply three ways. The way to keep going is the third choice, but
you'll get whacked in the head for all of them. You'll go into the dining
room for your first dinner event.

At dinner, Lilly tells you that the Curator of the Baal Museum wants you
to stop by tomorrow. You can talk to everyone else to learn about other
stuff. When you're finished talking, put the icon over Justin's head so
you can go to sleep.

The next morning, you'll be in Justin's room. Check the chest to your left
to find a [_FIRST AID KIT_]. Then grab the [_POISON ANTIDOTE_] on Justin's
bed to the north. Then check the papers that rattle to find [_100G_]. Go
to Justin's Living Room.

I recommend going to the Stashing Place and storing the Apron, the Iron
Pot, and the Pot Lid, since you cannot sell them, and they are not
stronger than what you already have. Go down to the restaurant. If you
want, you can talk to Lilly and tell her that she looks beautiful three
times. You'll get 1G, but it's not really worth it unless you want to sit
there for hours trying to get one hundred gold. You'd have to leave and
then come back in. I actually recommend doing that five times so you have
305G. Leave the Restaurant.

Before going to the Museum, you might want to check out the town. I
recommend stopping at the General Store, which is two houses east of the
Seagull Restaurant. There are three icons on the ground. The sword is the
Weapons Shop, the shield is the Armor Shop, and the chest is the Item
Shop. Talk to the lady to just sell stuff. I would trade in your old shoes
for two pairs of Air Sneakers, trade in Sue's Ribbon for a Fluffy Ribbon,
and trade the Cutting Board and Mittens for two pairs of Leather Gloves.
That should cost you exactly 305G, leaving you with absolutely nothing, but
that's okay. Leave the General Store.

From here, go south, east, and then northeast across the bridge. As soon
as you cross, go west until you hit a wall, not a house, then go directly
north into House 2. Go up to the second floor and talk to the old man
several times. You'll find out that he is writing a letter to a girl named
Clara. She was a girl that his son got to know when he went to New Parm.
He writes her letters, and this time, he'll give the [_LETTER TO CLARA_] to
Justin so he can take it to Clara when he goes to New Parm.

Okay, go back to South Parm where the Restaurant is. From the fountain, go
south-southeast to find the Train Station. Talk to the little red-haired
girl to the west of the entrance to find out that her mother has lost her
favorite pin. Marie will ask you to find it for her. Go east until you can
go under the tracks. Stand between the tracks and the entrance of the
Baal Museum and face east. Look on the ground for this when your compass's
top is facing northeast:

*[.NOTE.]* This is not to scale.

|| It looks kinda like a 'W' beside the tracks. Look on the
|| middle part of the 'W' where the two pieces of metal meet
===========    at the /\. You'll find [_MARIE'S PIN_].
||\    \
|| \/\/ \      *  - Person facing northwest left.
|| |  \* \     || - Railroad going northeast up.
|| |   \  \    == - River going southeast right.
|| \    /++    ++ - Museum Entrance.
||  \--/       / - \ - Metal beams on the ground.

Go back to Marie and give it to her. Go back to where you found it and
talk to Marie's mother. As a token of gratitude, she'll give you a
[_WOUND SALVE_]. Now, go into the Baal Museum!

Follow the carpet and go into the room on the left. Talk to the Curator
and the Curator will show you the new Icarian statue that came from the
Dom Ruins. They'll have an ever going conversation about Angelou. After
that, he'll tell you that the so-called 'Spirit Stone' that Justin's dad
gave him is harder than a diamond, so he could do nothing with it. He'll
give the [_SPIRIT STONE_] back to you. The Curator will leave you alone to
look at the statue. Go up the little stairs here and examine the statue.
Justin will accidentally break it, and then he'll try to fix it, with no
avail. They'll just leave it alone. Leave this room and go to the room on
the right.

The Curator will have found the thing he was going to give to you, then he
asks what that loud crash was. If you tell him the truth, he'll think that
you're joking, and nothing more. He'll then give you an [_INTRO LETTER_]
for you to visit the Sult Ruins. Leave the Baal Museum before the Curator
finds out that you broke the statue.

As soon as you leave, the Curator discovers the broken statue, so you
can't go back in there. Next, we need to go to Marna Road, but first, go
back to the Seagull Restaurant and store the Letter to Clara, the Spirit
Stone and the Intro Letter away, because if you need them, you
automatically use them even if they're in your Stashing Place. Now, from
the Restaurant, go southeast and go to the eastern side of the Train
Station. Go south to leave Parm. Then go to Marna Road.

[My Level] Justin [2], Sue [1] *[.NOTE.]* In this area, you'll find
[Save Points] Marna Road (Entrance) your first battles. When you battle
[Gold] 30G, 10G, 10G (50G) over time, your weapons will level
[Items] Herbs x2 up. You need to alternate weapons
[Equipment] Officer's Baton every once in a while that way you
[Enemies] Marna Bug-------(18 HP) don't have a very low attribute
Giant Centipede-(32 HP) compared to a very high one. For
example, don't always use the sword
with Justin; use the Mace and Ax too! Especially the Ax if you want
strength. With that said, I also suggest keeping one of each of their
weapons handy. I always fight every enemy I see per dungeon, so don't
worry if My Level is a little higher than yours. Sometimes I come back
and go through it again.

You can see a Save Point as soon as you enter, so use it if you want. Go
north a little to find a rock. From the rock, go east-northeast until you
find [_30G_] in a chest. Go northeast and follow along the wall to find
[_10G_] by the river. Go back to the Save Point and recover if you need
to. Then go north-northwest to find some [_HERBS_]. Then go northwest and
check this area for [_10G_]. Then go along the river and cross the bridge.

Go east and follow along the river to find some more [_HERBS_]. Go back to
the bridge and follow the road until you're past the two rocks surrounding
the road. Go southeast and follow the river until you reach the
[_OFFICER'S BATON_]. That's all here, so, unless you want to battle,
follow the road to the exit.

Now, go to the Sult Ruins!

[Items] Dynamite, Resurrect Potion
[Equipment] Rune Ring, Shiny Shoes, Outdated Armor, Ceremonial Rock Ax
[Enemies] Green Slime-(45 HP)
Baby Bat----(18 HP) As you enter the Sult ruins, the camera
*BOSS*---Rock Bird---(230 HP) will go around the outside of the Ruins,
showing you the terrain. Talk to the guy
here and he'll let you in the Ruins. You'll hear some female soldiers'
voices, Nana, Saki, and Mio. They'll be giving orders to their troops,
then they'll start to gossip about what they do when their soldiers are
late. Now, you can explore the outside and talk to the people. When you're
ready, go down the two ramps and meet up with the three women. They'll
wonder why you're here, and they believe that you are suspicious. When you
show them the letter, they'll tear it up and tell you to get out of here.
They'll go underground. Use the Save Point if you want, then go down to
B1.

*[.NOTE.]* It really helps here in the Sult Ruins if you have the Manual
that came with the game. It shows a map of where everything is. If you
don't, continue reading.

Go forward a little, and then you'll hear Lieutenant Leen giving orders,
and the three sergeants reporting. Mullen will say a few words, and they
will depart. Get off of the platform and grab the [_10G_] to the east.
Follow the path north until you hear some soldiers talking. After that,
head north, west, and then north to have a Baby Bat attack you. Grab the
[_10G_] where the Baby Bat was. Go east past the DungeonScope Icon and to
the stairs. There's [_10G_] directly north of them, and after that, go up
the stairs and follow the path here until you can find a [_RUNE RING_]. Go
back and grab [_30G_] that is on the south side of the stairs.

If you go south a little, you'll see those three gossiping again. Go as
far south as you can to find [_30G_]. Go east between the rocks, and then
go north. You can see some stairs to the southeast, so go up them and find
[_30G_]. Go back down and go directly west to a pair of [_SHINY SHOES_].
Head north a little. There's another [_10G_] in one of those structures.
Go north to find a Save Point, and then go north some more to reach B2.

Go north to the DungeonScope Icon and then go east to find [_10G_]. Then
go west and north up the stairs. Follow the path west and jump over the
space to find some [_OUTDATED ARMOR_]. Go back and jump over the space,
then go east and fall off of the edge. Go east and grab the [_DYNAMITE_].
Go southeast until you reach some stairs. Go up the stairs and follow it a
long way to [_30G_]. Jump off and go south-southwest to a DungeonScope
Icon. Go west through the area to your north and up some stairs to find
the [_CEREMONIAL ROCK AX_].

Go east and through the path again. Then go south and then west under the
platform (you have to go as far south as you can that way you don't run
into the stairs). Go up the stairs here and then go east. This platform
will fall, so grab the [_RESURRECT POTION_]. Go west and to the stairs
again, then go up them and use the Action Icon. Go across the pillar that
you knocked down, then grab the [_30G_] to the west. Go north and you'll
hear some soldiers talking. As they come towards them, they'll hide. Use
the Save Point, then go up to the statue.

Justin's Spirit Stone will start to glow, and the statue will split,
allowing you to enter the Ancient Passageway. Follow the path and then go
northwest at the fork. Push the button here twice and then go onto the
spinning platform. Push the button in the middle, then follow the path to
another thing that will lower because of the Spirit Stone. Go forward to
the Room of Illusion.

Go forward and you'll hear a female voice. A bright light will glow and a
glowing sphere will appear. Examine it, and the light will become bright
again. The woman is Liete of Alent, and she will tell you about Angelou.
The doors of Angelou do not open without the Spirit Stone, and she will
then go in depth about the history of Angelou, in FMV style.

After that, she'll tell you that if you want answers, you must travel to
Alent, which is very far east. The Spirit Stone will guide him there.
After that, Liete will disappear. They feel like what they have just
witnessed was like a dream, but the Spirit Stone will glow, reminding them
that it wasn't. Leave here and go back to the spinning platform. As you go
to leave, you'll bump into Mullen.

He'll tell Leen to secure the exit while, he will ask you some questions.
He'll ask you your name, how you got in here, and what you saw here. If
you answer correctly, he won't harm you, but if you don't, he threatens to
kill you. After you answer, he decides to keep you from telling anyone,
but before he has the chance, they spin the platform around so they cannot
catch them. Run out of here.

Once you reach the exit, you'll find a huge bird that will attack you.

After the battle, they'll run for it, and shortly after, Mullen and Leen
will come out. Mullen cannot believe that Justin escaped him and defeated
the Rock Bird. He'll let Justin go since he really doesn't know that much
and it will not hinder their plans.

Now that you've escaped, head back to Parm.

Port Town of Parm
:::::::::::::::::

[My Level] Justin [4], Sue [3] Sue suggest going home, but
[Key Items] Key to the Cafe, Java's Wallet first, head to the General
                                             Store and get rid of
whatever you don't need. I suggest trading Sue's Sunday Best for Sports
wear, and keep the Outdated Armor on Justin. I'd also buy the Ceramic
Sword for Justin, and whatever else you want to buy, maybe some new
weapons for Sue. When you go back to the Restaurant, Sue wonders how
they're going to get to the New Continent. Justin says they need to go by
ship, but he needs to ask his mom how to get one. First, stash the Wooden
Sword, and then talk to Lilly so you can eat dinner.

Justin will ask his mom how to get a ship. Because she used to be 'Lilly
the Skull', she had her own ship. She suggests going to the port tomorrow
to ask someone and find out. Then end dinner and go to sleep.

Then next morning, Sue will come and get you as usual. Leave the
Restaurant and go to the Port of Parm.

Talk to the only guy here that actually looks like a sailor. He'll tell
you that you need a Steamer Pass to get on the ship that goes to the New
World. He'll tell you that he remembers an old man at the Cafe who told
stories and he had an old pass. He suggests going to ask the old man,
Java, about the pass. Leave the Port of Parm.

Remember where you had to find the key that Tentz had? That's where the
Cafe is. Talk to the lady here and she'll tell you that she cannot open
the place because one of the guys that work there took the key with him.
She says that she'll let them in tonight if they get the key for her. She
also tells you that he's probably at the harbor watching the seagulls. Go
back to the Port of Parm and talk to the guy with the blue hat. He does
have it, so he'll give you the [_KEY TO THE CAFE_] to give to the lady.

Go back to the Cafe and talk to her. You'll give her the key, and she'll
tell you to come back in a little while. The scene will cut to Mullen,
Leen, and Baal in the ship. Mullen reports to Baal that he could not find
anything during the last excavation on the Ruins, and Baal decides to move
out to the next area. Leen wonder why the General is so disappointed, and
then Mullen will tell her to prepare to depart for Elencia!

Back at Parm, it is now night. Head to the Cafe and enter. If you talk to
Kirlian, she'll tell you that you can have whatever you want for helping
out before Justin realizes that she was the old lady you gave the key to.
She'll tell you that Java isn't here tonight, but it might help if you
talk to the people around here. After talking to all of the people in
here, talk to Kirlian again and she'll ask you to take [_JAVA'S WALLET_]
to him over in the Leck Mines. Leave the Cafe and head back home.

Lilly will whack him in the head with a tray since he's home so late, then
they'll eat dinner. Justin is ready to go to the Leck Mines, but Lilly
doesn't want him to go. She will let him go, only if he promises to
protect Sue. End dinner and go to bed.

The next morning, leave the restaurant and go to the Train Station. Talk
to the guy here, and he'll let you go to the Leck Mines for free. Enter
the gate and go up the stairs. Go up the stairs to your left to board the
train, and soon enough, you'll arrive at the Leck Mines.

[Key Items] Steamer Pass
[Enemies] Green Slime-(45 HP) You'll get off of the train, and it will
Spyder------(36 HP) depart. Go southwest from where you are
Baby Bat----(18 HP) and go into Java's house. No one is home,
Orc---------(70 HP) so Justin will leave Java's Wallet on the
*BOSS*---Orc King----(385 HP) table. Java will come in and accuse them
of stealing his wallet. Justin will then
explain to Java his whole story. Java finds the idea of Justin trying to
find Angelou funny, but then he decides he'll give Justin his pass, only
if Justin can pass his trial. He'll go outside and so will you.

Follow the spinning arrow to Java. He'll tell you that to pass his trial,
you need to defeat the Boss of these mines because they're too noisy for
Java. He'll ask you if you want to rest. If you need to, do so. He'll also
save your game for you too. When you're ready, enter the Leck Mines.

Once you enter, go directly west and you should come across some
[_WORK CLOTHES_]. Then go south, and you should see a DungeonScope Icon
there, and there's [_20G_] south of it. Now, use the DungeonScope Icon and
you should see some money in the upper-left part of the screen, so go
southwest and get the [_20G_] there. Then go west and follow the path to a
dead-end. Check around to find a [_HAND GRENADE_], and a chest containing
[_RUBBER BOOTS_]. I never equip any shoes that have low move, unless they
have really good defense, so I stick with the Air Sneakers for the
majority of the game.

Turn around and head back, going along the northernmost track. Follow it
until it starts running alongside a different one. Turn around and follow
this one west. As you're going west, look to the south for another
[_HAND GRENADE_]. When you start seeing caverns to the north and south, go
north to the first one (not northeast), and crawl under the beam. There's
more caverns inside this one. The northern one has [_60G_], and the other
two are empty, so leave out of this cavern, and go south across the tracks
and to another cavern to find some [_HERBS_] at this dead-end. Then go
back and northwest to find [_20G_] at this last dead-end. Follow these
tracks back east to the beginning (you can leave and recover with Java if
you need to), then follow the southernmost track here to the next area.

Go up the hill and follow the southern track to yet another [_20G_]. Then
go south-southeast and follow the path to the big hole. Drop down, then go
up the little hill, then go northeast to a [_WOBBLY SWORD_], then go south
to [_60G_] and finally west to a [_SAFETY HELMET_]. Use the action icon to
jump over the hole. Go back to the DungeonScope Icon and go southwest.

You can cross over if you want, but I recommend dropping down so you can
go northwest and grab the [_HAND AX_]. Climb up the western rope here,
then grab the [_20G_] to your north. Then go follow along the edge of the
hole southeast to a chest containing a [_MINER'S HAMMER_]. Go north to the
tracks and follow them west. When you get to the steel overhang, go
south-southwest and get... [_20G_]! From the money, go south to some more
tracks, and they'll branch off everywhere. They've been blocked off to
the southwest, so go northeast and up the hill, then go southwest to on
the ledge beside the hill and go in the cavern to find [_60G_]. Leave the
cavern and go southwest to find another [_HAND GRENADE_] on the ledge.

Go back east and grab the [_WOUND SALVE_], then go southeast and south
into a large cavern. Search around and you'll find an [_OAKEN SHIELD_] in
a smaller cavern. Leave the big one, then go northeast to a Save Point.
Use it and Recover, then go east to the Deepest Depths.

Before you go and fight the Boss, grab the [_20G_] and [_60G_] on the
right, then the [_20G_], [_20G_], and [_60G_] on the left. Then climb the
stairs to face the Orc King.
  ________
  |*BOSS*| First off, get rid of the two Orcs using basic
********************* attacks, then get rid of the Orc King using
[ Orc King-(385 HP) ] V-Slash and Puffy Kick, or stronger skills
[ Orc x2---(70 HP each) ] like W-Break if you have it. If you want, use
********************* your Dynamite and Grenades on him; they work
nicely. The King's Fire Breath attack doesn't
[EXP] 78 really hurt that much, neither does his normal attacks; they
[Gold] 490G all do about 10 damage, but if you time your attacks just
[Items] N/A right, he might not even attack. That's what I love about
this battle system. He shouldn't be that much trouble.

After the battle, the mines will start to cave in. Grab the
[_SEED OF DEFENSE_] to the south on the platform, then start to leave the
cave. When you get to the second area, Java will be waiting for you, so
hop on the cart and watch as the party escapes the mines.

*[.NOTE.]* Never use any of the Seeds of *** or Fruits of *** on Sue.
You'll want to use them on Party Members you'll have the ENTIRE game, so
use them on Justin. Or keep them for later if you want.

After your cart lands outside, Java will scold them for not thinking of a
way to escape. He'll give them some advice, and will then whole-heartedly
give them their well-earned [_STEAMER PASS_]. It's old and dirty, but it
will get you to the New World! Sue will run off, and Java will tell Justin
that an adventurer walks alone, leaving Justin with a decision to make.
Sue will come back and grab Justin, so head back to Parm by just walking
east and on to the World Map.

*[.NOTE.]* If you have all of your item slots full when you got the
Steamer Pass, those items went to the Stashing Place, so make sure to get
those out when you get back.

Port Town of Parm

[My Level] Justin [6] Justin has been quiet the whole way back, and when
[Items] Coal Candy they leave the train station, Justin tells Sue
that she can't go with him, and that he won't take
a child along. Just as it seems a sad end, Sue comes back, kicks Justin in
the shin and runs off again. Oh well... she'll be back later, so don't
worry.

Go northeast of the train station to the Inventor's House. Talk to him,
and he'll give you some of his [_COAL CANDY_]. Leave his house.

I'm sure you have a huge load of money, along with many unnecessary items,
so go to the General Store and buy what you need and so forth. I would buy
two more pairs of Air Sneakers and put them in your Stashing Place so when
you do get four party members, they can have them too, since you can't buy
them when you get them in your party. When you're ready, leave here and go
to the Seagull Restaurant. Outside, Gantz will make fun of you, and will
tell him that he'll think of another challenge to get back at him. Now go
in.

Before you talk to Lilly, go to the Stashing Place and take care of
business, then go to Lilly and talk to her so you can have dinner.

Lilly says that it's been a while since they got to eat alone together,
and when it comes up that the Steamer is leaving tomorrow, Justin tries
to muster up the courage to tell his mother that he is leaving, but he
can't do it. Lilly can sense that something is wrong, and she'll turn in
for the night. (Where does she sleep?)

Early the next morning, Justin gets all of his stuff ready out of his
and he goes downstairs to have a scene with himself, talking to his
relative's pictures on the wall. After he has his moments, he'll take out
his picture and nail it to the wall, and he'll run off.

Leave the Seagull Restaurant and talk to whomever you want to. I'd go and
apologize to the Curator just to be nice. Whenever you're ready, go to the
Port of Parm. Talk to the Garlyle Soldier here, and he'll finally let you
in since you finally have a pass. Go to the north and make your way to the
Steamer. Go to the front of the line and someone will yell at you, only
because there's something hanging from your pocket. He'll look at it and
it's a letter.

Some sailors will move him out of the way, and Justin will start to read
the letter from Lilly. It is to Mr. Gauss, President of the Adventurers
Society. Choose to read it anyway, and you'll find out that Lilly knew
all along, and she wants him to be an adventurer. She also wants Justin
to be careful and take care of his health.

A sailor will tell Justin that he is the last one, so he'll run on board,
and the Steamer will depart...

[My Level] Justin [6] Well, there's nothing to do on the
[Save Points] Crew Quarters (Sailor) deck, so go into the gray door to
[Stashing Places] 2nd Class Cabin the west. Go down the stairs and go
[Gold] 25G to the lower right to the next area.
[Items] Beef Jerky, Chocolate Then go down the stairs to the left. The
Stashing Place is here, along with a
traveling salesman. He has the same items that Parm had, plus First Aid
Kits! So buy something if you want it. Make sure to talk to EVERYBODY,
including the guy just below the Stashing Place. Leave this room, and
follow this hall to the end and go down these stairs here. Talk to ALL of
these guys, then start making your way up to the deck. On your way there,
you'll see Puffy!

Hurry up to the deck, and you'll see Sue stuffed in a barrel. Talk to the
Captain a few times, and they'll decide instead of throwing her overboard,
he'll make them both sailors, because sailors are allowed to ride without
a pass, therefore, Sue won't be a stowaway. Accept, and you'll be taken to
your quarters.

The next morning, Sue will wake Justin up; he didn't sleep well because of
the ship's noise. Then a sailor will come in and tell them to quit their
complaining and to get to the deck to start their work. Before you go,
talk to the sailor here, and he'll give you the [_CABIN KEY_]. Leave here,
and when you walk down the hallway, talk to the first sailor you see on
the left. He'll ask you the three rules of the sea. Choose "Don't be a
stowaway", then "Don't spill blood in a fight", then "Don't dirty the
sea". He'll give you a [_BEEF JERKY_] for getting them all right. Then go
down to the 2nd Class Quarters. Now you can sell all of the stuff that you
had on Sue if you need to, and get everything straightened out. Talk to
guy below the Stashing Place again to find out that he is a stowaway too!
Be nice, and don't tell on him; you'll get something in return later. Put
your Cabin Key and Lilly's Letter in the Stashing Place. When you are done
with that, go to the first room below the deck, and go to the lower left
to the 1st Class Cabin Hall.

Go into the second door, Cabin A. Talk to the lady, and she'll tell you
that her tub is dirty. Examine it, and you'll find a little spot and clean
it up. Talk to her again, and she'll thank you and give you [_25G_]. Leave
and go into the Lounge. If you talk to everyone, you'll find a gambler on
the left side of the screen. He'll challenge you to a coin flip, and you
must bet 100G. Choose either one, and if you get it, you'll win back your
money, along with another [_100G_]. (I chose tails) Go up to that section
of the Lounge, and talk to the lady standing in front of the yellow couch.
She'll ask you if she has too many freckles, so choose the middle option
"Not to worry! Just a couple!" to make her happy. She'll give you some
[_CHOCOLATE_] if you talk to her again. That's it for slacking, so go to
the deck and get to work!

Go forward and talk to the guy not moving, and he says that newbies always
start out by swabbing the decks. Talk to him again to either learn how to
do it, or to start doing it. When you're ready, start this mini-game. All
I can say for this it to hold it until you get it close to the end then
tap it and hold it, and tap it and hold it repeatedly. If you're really
good at it, he'll give you 25G if you keep it under 25 seconds. When
you're finished, head all the way back to the Crew's Quarters. Talk to
the sailor to go to sleep. The next morning, you'll wake up all sore from
the work. Talk to the sailor and he'll give you the day off today! So go
back to sleep! Save if you want.

You have to work today, so go up to the deck and swab away. When you're
done with that, start to go back and you'll notice there's a sailor
cleaning the lens of a huge light. The best adventurer in New Parm is
coming aboard, and they need a very strong, clear signal to send to the
guest.

It'll switch to a scene in the night where the Steamer is signaling the
adventurer. Justin can barely sleep while Sue is already out. Eventually
he'll fall asleep, followed by waking up late. Get up, and leave here. As
you go on your way, you'll see a sailor practicing the adventurers
greeting, then Justin will practice it a little. Head up and to the far
side of the deck to meet the greatest adventurer in New Parm, and it's a
girl!

She's Feena, and she's brought a bunch of treasure back. She starts to
tell her adventure, but the Captain wants her to wait for later. Then
Justin and Sue will meet Feena. Sue is surprised that she is a girl, and
when Justin goes to give her the high-five, he is turned down and only
given a handshake. She'll then go to talk to the captain, leaving Justin
and Sue to their work. Justin thinks she's pretty cute!

The next day when you get up to the deck, you'll find that it has already
been cleaned! Feena took her time and did it while she was waiting for
you. Justin and Sue will then tell their story of how they aren't sailors,
but up-and-coming adventurers. When they're done with their story, you
can start asking questions. It doesn't matter in what order you choose
them, but after you've picked all three, the sky will darken and the gulls
will leave. Feena's intuition kicks in and she goes to talk to the Captain
while we're supposed to go to our quarters, but why would we do that? Go
up to the Bridge.

Feena will be telling the Captain that she has a bad premonition. Talk to
her, and you'll find out that there's a Ghost Ship in these parts, which
sparks Justin's curiosity. Just after that, something appears, and Feena
is wanted on the deck. Go on to the deck, and you'll see the Ghost Ship,
FMV style!

Go to the far side of the ship, and you'll see that Feena is trying to
gather some people to go with her on that ship. Jump at the opportunity,
and go talk to Feena, and when the three options come up, choose one at a
time, but eventually you have to choose all three. Finally, Feena will
agree to go with you onto the ship, as long as they don't get in her way.

Before you go, you may want to go back to the store and buy some Wound
Salves or other healing items before you go. Put some Air Sneakers on
Feena if you want, then go back to the deck. Go up the rope and get on the
crane. Go across the rope here, and you'll all jump down.

Grab the [_HERBS_] to your northwest, then grab the [_30G_] to the

stairs. Before you go up them, grab the [_WOUND SALVE_] to the southeast.
Go up the stairs and get the [_PIRATE'S HAT_] out of the treasure chest,
then go up the stairs here.

Grab the [_ADMIRAL'S SWORD_] right there, then go north into the dark
area, then west and grab the glittering [_RESURRECT POTION_] to the south.
Go back to where you found the sword, and go south, then west to find the
last of the money, [_90G_]. Go back to the Save Point and use it, then go
west to the door. After some more bad feelings, enter the door.

Go to the desk and read the journal on it. It tells you that the ship was
caught by a giant beast, and right after that, the "monster" will appear.
  ________
  |*BOSS*| This boss is kinda tough, since it can use
*********************** Howl, normal attacks, and Alheal all in one
[ Squid King-----(592 HP) ] turn. If Feena has it, use Burnflame, and/
[ Left Tentacle--(438 HP) ] or Burn after that, and have Justin and Sue
[ Right Tentacle-(356 HP) ] focus on the Right Tentacle, since it heals.
*********************** After it goes down, take out the Left
Tentacle, followed by the Squid King
[EXP] 154 himself. His attacks really hurt, but if you have the
[Gold] 2000G Wind Charm equipped, Howl will still hurt, but not
[Items] Mana Egg nearly as bad. Have Sue use her "Rah-Rah!" Cheer and
First Aid Kits to keep you health up, and if she's not
healing, have her use Round Whacker if she has it. Eventually, you will
come out on top.

After you beat the Squid, the ship will start to sink. Leave this room
quickly and run to the door across the hall. It's locked! But Feena will
quickly rig it open, leaving everyone to escape. It seems like they won't,
but Feena quickly thinks of yet another idea, and ties a rope to the
crane, and hangs on while the ship sinks to the bottom of the ocean.

Back aboard the Steamer, everyone's up in arms. They all try to give all
the credit to Feena, but Feena shares the glory, of course, letting Justin
get embarrassed. As the Steamer sails on, another day of swabbing the
decks come forth, even though you are heroes, so choose to rest to get
ready for it. The next morning, go up to the deck to find out that you're
fired, only because we've reached Elencia!

Up at the deck, you'll run to the far end of the boat to see Elencia.
Justin is completely astonished and speechless. Feena will come up and
welcome you to New Parm, which gets Justin even more hyped to go ashore.
Feena will go with you if you're ready. If you're not, run around and do
what you want; just talk to Feena when you're ready.

Port of New Parm Justin and Sue will be so excited they'll
:::::::::::::::: run circles around each other. Feena
thinks they're too much, but she won't be
[My Level] Justin [7], Sue [5] able to go with them just yet, since she
[Items] Golden Potion has a reason she doesn't want to go. She
does invite them to her house by Merrill
Road sometime. As she leaves, she remembers something. She goes back to
Justin, has him put his hand up, and gives him the Adventurer's greeting!
Finally she'll leave, and you'll regain control. Go southwest and examine
the moving barrel. It's the guy that was stowing away that I told you to
talk to! For being quiet, he'll give you a [_GOLDEN POTION_]. There's
absolutely nothing to do here, so go north and leave here to the World Map
and go to the Town of New Parm.

Town of New Parm
::::::::::::::::

[My Level] Justin [7], Sue [5] Ah, finally! New Parm! The western
[Save Points] Adv. Hut Hotel building is the Adventurers Store. A
[Stashing Places] Adv. Hut Hotel new icon is here; a staff. This is
where you turn in your Mana Eggs to buy
magic, so buy something for Justin or Sue. Pick whichever one you want,
but I do recommend putting it on Sue, making her your support character
with either water or earth. Make sure you level up Sue's magic and
weapons, because when she leaves later in the game, you get a portion of
her abilities that you can use on someone else, leveling up their
magic/weapons too!

Anyway, this place and some good new armor and weapons, so spend away,
then leave the store and enter the town. At the first fork in town, go
east and then south at the first gate that way. Talk to the pink lady here
a few times and you'll deliver the letter that 'Francois' asked Justin to
deliver. Leave here and start back to the center of town. The building
here with the Turticamel outside is the Adventurers Society.

Talk to the lady at the desk a few times to learn the password to go see
Mr. Pakon. You'll see that Mr. Pakon is pretty much a worthless clown. He
is the son of Mr. Gauss, and the new president of this tourist society.
He'll throw away Lilly's Letter, saying that it's useless. He also says
that he is engaged to Feena, which is kinda hard to believe, and since
Justin can't keep his mouth shut, he'll never let him in the Society.
Leave here, and Sue thinks that we should just go visit Feena, so let's
do that. Leave the Society and, unless you want to check out the town some
more, head north and leave. On the World Map, go to Merrill Road.

[My Level] Justin [7], Sue [5] Grab the [_40G_] as soon as you
[Gold] 40G, 40G, 40G, 120G, 40G (280G) enter, then head southeast and
[Items] Mana Egg follow the path until you reach a
[Equipment] Snake Earrings fork. Go east to the dead-end and grab
[Enemies] Spitting Cobra-(60 HP) the [_40G_], then go back and go north.
Black Widow----(53 HP) Then go west at the fork to find some
Roadcrawler----(40 HP) [_SNAKE EARRINGS_]. Go back east, and
Glug Bird------(65 HP) follow the path until you can see
[_40G_] to your east. Go northwest, and
if you use the DungeonScope Icon, you can see some money. Go north and
east to find [_120G_]. Go west from here until you come across [_40G_]. Go
west past the DungeonScope Icon, and at the fork, go southwest until you
find another [_MANA EGG_]! Go back to the fork and head back east to the
DungeonScope Icon you passed, then go north to exit this place.

Before going to Feena's House, go back and buy another spell for someone.
Then leave New Parm and go to Feena's House.

Feena's House
:::::::::::::

[My Level] Justin [7], Sue [5] Follow the spinning arrow to Feena's
[Save Points] Feena's House House. Inside, you'll find out that no
one is home. You can see a pair of pink
underwear hanging on a line beside the Save Point. Examine them and you'll
take Feena's Panties! Feena will then walk in and catch Justin red-handed
(and very red-faced), She'll then cook you food! After that, you can ask
her questions again. As usual, you'll have to ask all three eventually, so
ask away! I always go in order from top to bottom, if that makes any
difference. Justin wants her to go on an adventure with her, but Feena
keeps bringing up the rules of the Adventurers Society, angering Justin.
After Justin brings up a very good point, strange music starts to play,
and you'll go outside to check it out after Feena screams.

Pakon and his lovely bunch of coconuts have decided to come and take Feena
away to get married. Justin steps in, and Feena tries to cover everything
up, telling Pakon that she and Justin are engaged! Go along with it to
spite Pakon, and he'll sick his bodyguard, Chang, on Justin, knocking him
out. Pakon will then run off with Feena.

Justin will wake up and find out that Pakon and Feena are going to be
forcefully married, so we have to stop it! Leave Feena's House and go to
the Town of New Parm.

Here in town, go through the gates and go west of the Adventurers Society
until you run into the Church. It's locked, so go south and west around
back into the Storeroom. Then go into the Underground Passage.

[Items] Mana Egg lower the water some. Then go north
[Equipment] Shell Shield, Iron Mace and across the sets of stairs, then
[Enemies] Purple Slime-(70 HP) go north and across the sets of
Mud Jelly----(73 HP) stairs, then go through another tunnel.
Mad Snail----(60 HP) Go south and past the stairs to reach
*BOSS*---Chang--------(738 HP) another gate. Turn the wheel, then go
south and turn a different wheel to put
the same gate back to where it was. Go south through this tunnel, then go
west and follow this path, and keep going past the stairs into another
tunnel. At the end of this tunnel, go north and get the [_SHELL SHIELD_]
out of the chest, and turn this wheel to lower the rest of the water.

Go back through the tunnel and back to those stairs. Go down and start
fighting the monsters so you can go down the stairs to the east and grab
the [_150G_] down here. Then go northeast and follow this path down here
all the way to a [_MANA EGG_]! Go all the way back to the big area and go
up the little set of steps. On the western side of the steps is [_50G_],
then go north and through this tunnel to another large area. Go east and
north to find an [_IRON MACE_] first, then go back and go up the stairs.

Follow the path here to another set of stairs, and you'll be in a secret
passage. Use the action icon to break into the wall, and grab the [_50G_]
here. Use the Save Point, and climb up the boxes and enter the Church.

You'll see Feena, bound and gagged, along with drippy-nosed Pakon. As no
one is clearly objected, the Priest is about to announce them as man and
wife. Run around the woodwork and jump down to break off this wedding.
Pakon was prepared for this, so he sicks Chang on you again. This time,
we'll take him on!
  ________
  |*BOSS*| He's tough. Just make sure to keep them both healed

[Gold] 0G together. Just be careful and you should beat him.
[Items] N/A

After the battle, Pakon will tell Feena again that if she doesn't marry
him, he'll take away her pass. Finally, Feena comes to her senses about
what Justin says, and she'll give her pass back to Pakon. They'll leave
the Church together, so everyone will think that Justin and Feena are
married. They'll start celebrating while the three of them sneak off to
Feena's House. Once they get there, they decide to go to sleep, after
Feena shares her moment with everyone.

When you wake up, Feena won't be there, so leave the tent and go west and
you'll find her enjoying the morning. She'll say how much she loves the
wind, how much she's thought about it, and how much she wants to see what
the wind sees. Then she'll say she's ready to go.

You'll see Baal asking Mullen if he's found the last piece, and without
it, Operation Yggdrassil cannot proceed. He then plans to search near the
Dom Ruins. Isn't that where we're going? Here we go again.

Feena will be all ready now, so leave Feena's House. Before we go to the
Rangle Mountains, go back to the Town of New Parm and go to the store. Buy
another spell (Justin has Wind, Sue has Water and Earth). Upgrade Feena's
and everyone's equipment, then leave and head to the Rangle Mountains.

[Gold] 60G, 180G, 60G, 60G, 60G, 60G, 180G (660G) follow the

[Equipment] Medal of Yore bit into a
[Enemies] Inchworm-------(65 HP) wide open area. Go south and follow
Odd Bird-------(127 HP) this wall until you reach some bushes
Spitting Cobra-(60 HP) with a small rock to the east of them.
Go south-southeast from the rock to
reach [_60G_]. Go back to the entrance to the big area, and go north and
follow this wall up to some bushes with [_180G_] on the other side of
them. Keep following this wall, up a hill, and to another [_MANA EGG_]. Go
southwest and follow the wall to the southeast, and along the edge of the
hill there to find [_60G_]. Head due south from here to find a
DungeonScope Icon. Use it, and you can see something directly east. Go
there and get the [_MEDAL OF YORE_]. Go northeast to another DungeonScope
Icon, and head directly north from there to find a couple of rocks and a
[_SEED OF MOVES_]. That's it for the first area, so head northeast and
follow the spinning arrow to the East Rangle Mountains.

Go forward a little, and Feena will decide that this is a good place to
camp. Then you'll have a dinner event. They'll talk about how Feena never
imagined that they'd be on an adventure when they met on the Steamer.
Justin will then explain to her that they're going to the Dom Ruins as a
stop on the way to Alent, which he hopes is before or at the End of the
World. Feena shares with them that she used to live with her sister until
she joined the Garlyle Forces. Sue wonders if one of the female soldiers
she saw at Sult was her. They'll wrap it up and go to sleep.

The next morning, Feena will be enjoying nature as always, but today there
is a very clear view; you can even see the top of the End of the World,
which is nothing but a giant wall! Justin will get super-psyched and
they'll get ready to finish crossing the Rangle Mountains and going to the
Dom Ruins.

There's a Save Point here, so I recommend fighting a bunch, then
recovering at the Save Point so you can keep fighting back and forth the
East and West Rangles. Anyway, head south from the Save Point to the start
of another large area. Use the DungeonScope Icon to the southeast, and
you can see some money. Go southeast from here to find another [_60G_]. Go
back to the Icon and go north and follow along this wall and down the
hills until you can see a little rock and a DungeonScope Icon to your
northeast. Grab the [_60G_] here, then go north-northeast to a path
leading to a small, enclosed area containing a [_FRUIT OF POWER_].

Go back to the Icon, and go directly southeast to a rock. There one last
[_60G_] to the east of that rock. Head south from here, past a very large
rock and a DungeonScope Icon, all the way to a [_GINSENG_]. From it, hug
and follow the wall to the east. Stay beside it all the way to [_180G_].
To make it easier on myself and the rest of you, just keep following the
wall that it to the north of the money, up until the arrow starts spinning
really fast and you're beside a narrow pathway. That's the exit, but we
need one more thing first. Go north and follow this wall on the right for
a while until it curves around and you reach a bag with a [_MANA EGG_]
inside. Turn around and follow the wall back to the exit.

Before going to the Dom Ruins, go back to New Parm and use your two Mana
Eggs. For me, Justin now has Wind and Water, Sue has Water and Earth, and
Feena has Fire and Water. (I think healing is a necessity, only if we have
brute strength to make up for it.) If you didn't buy the Big Hatchet for
Justin, buy it now, because you'll need it. You might want to go back to
the Rangles and fight around so you can level your magic up a bit.
Whenever you're ready, head to the Dom Ruins.

                                      north-northeast to find [_70G_]. Go
back to the sign and go east and follow the path as it turns southeast to
a DungeonScope Icon to the southwest. Grab the [_210G_] to the southwest
of it. From the Icon, go east some more and follow the path to an open
area. Go northeast from there to another [_70G_]. Go south until you reach
another open area. Go northeast and follow this path to a dead-end with
[_210G_]. Go back to the open area and go southwest and south just a
little, then head west at the fork to a DungeonScope Icon. Use it, and you
can see a chest. Go south and southeast to find a [_MIRACLE DRINK_].

If you use the Icon again, you can see something to the northwest at a
dead-end. So go west and follow along this edge of the trees as it turns
north, then east and you'll reach a [_SEED OF SPEED_]. Head back west from
here and you'll reach another DungeonScope Icon. Head south along the wall
here until you can see a bigger-trunked tree to your north. There's
[_70G_] on the northern side of it. Head east and keep following along the
wall to reach the Dom Ruins Vestibule.

Feena says she's been here before, but she couldn't go inside due to the
Garlyle Forces, so we've got to be careful. Go east until you are on a
bridge. Drop off either side to the south or north, and grab the
[_BLUE MEDICINE_] under the bridge. Go north from the DungeonScope Icon
until you reach [_70G_], then go northeast and follow along the wall until
you reach a big face with the wall with vines all over it to the east.
Grab the [_70G_] here, Go south and follow along the wall until you reach
a four-way fork. Keep going south until you reach some [_DYNAMITE_]. Then
go west and down the hill to reach another [_70G_]. Go back up the hill
and north back to the intersection.

Go west and you'll finally reach that Save Point you saw earlier. Use it.

*[.NOTE.]* This is one of the few times this is available, but to the east
of this Save Point are faces. Some of them come out of the wall and damage
you, so I recommend letting the faces hit you, then have everyone use Heal
or Alheal to heal everyone, upping their Water Level. When you run out of
MP, go back, recover, and do it again. I finally proceeded after I had got
my Water level to 8 so I could get Healer.

Go east and follow the path while watching out for the Dom Orcs that jump
down and attack you. Fight all the Dom Orcs you see through this thing,
because they'll most likely drop some Holy Maces, the only weapon that can
attack the Vengeful Spirits inside the Ruins. Go past the faces I was
talking about, being careful not to get hit by them if you don't want them
to hit you, and go west at the fork to find [_HERBS_]. Turn around and
head east and follow the path to the first area inside the Dom Ruins.

Keep following the path until you reach a door. Press X to open it and go
out to the cliff. Out here, Justin exclaims that he can't see the bottom
at all! Gotta be careful I guess. Climb up the rope here and enter the
door. Go forward into the elevator room. Before using it, keep going
northwest through the doorway to another door. In here, you'll find those
Vengeful Spirits I was talking about. Use the Holy Mace and Fire to take
care of them. Grab the [_SEED OF POWER_] in the center of this room.

Leave here and go back to the elevator. Push the button beside the face to
go down a floor. Go northeast and back out to the cliff. Grab the
[_BLUE MEDICINE_] out here, then go back inside and to the elevator room.
Go southwest this time and follow the path to a fork. Go west down the
stairs here and grab the [_RESURRECT POTION_]. Go north into this room and
grab the [_210G_] in the center. Go back south and past the fork unless
you want to go east into a room that has a switch to the east. If you push
it, the floor drops down, so lure some monsters up there and drop them if
you like, though I always fight when I have the chance. Back at that fork,
keep going south and follow the path to another room with [_70G_] in the
center.

If you noticed the pattern of the ruins, you've seen many open eyes
looking at you. In this room, there's a closed eye to the southeast.
Examine the wall and it will recede, inviting you to grab a [_HOLY MACE_].

*[.NOTE.]* When you go to upgrade your weapons next time, DO NOT SELL THE
HOLY MACE! Put at least one of them in your Stashing Place, because they
will be of great usage for other ghost-type enemies later in the game, so
PLEASE hold on to one.

Go back to the center of the room and head northeast to another little
room. Go east to get back outside. Attempt to cross the bridge and it will
break beneath you, and you'll fall onto another ledge. Grab the
[_RESURRECT POTION_], then go in the door here.

There's a Save Point here, so use it if you need to. Don't go to the north
just yet; it's a shortcut to back to the entrance of the Ruins. Go west
from the Save Point and follow the path to another elevator room, this
time without a face. Press the switch to go up. Go southwest and grab the
[_70G_] laying on the floor, then follow the path east until you're back
outside, yet again! Go up and press the switch, making the platform with
the cartoonish artwork move forward. Head back inside and go back down the
elevator. Go east and back outside, again. Go forward and press the switch
and the platform will extend just enough to reach the other platform! Go
onto that platform and enter the second part of the Dom Ruins.

As usual, follow the path until you reach a fork. Go northeast into a
room, then continue northwest until you're back out on the cliffs. Go down
the vine and go back inside through this path. Go down a little, and when
you're in the blue area, open the chest to the north to find a
[_MANA EGG_]. Then go east and follow the path to [_70G_] in the center of
another room. Don't go west as it takes you back to the beginning of this
part of the Ruins. Go east first into this jail area, with some imprisoned
Orcs. Stand in on the dot in the square in the middle of the room, and
press X. The jails will open, and the Orcs will attack you. Beat 'em all
up, and go in the southeastern sell to find some [_SHELL ARMOR_].

Go back out to the fork and go southwest to another elevator. Go south
first, and follow the path to another room where you can lure monsters and
drop them into the big hole. There's an obvious closed eye in this room to
the east, so examine it and go into the room down here with a few minutes
worth of monsters to fight. Kill them all, then look to the south for
another closed eye. Open up this passage, and go to the center of the room
and grab the [_70G_]. There's one more hidden passage to the west, and it
contains a [_MAGIC LAMP_] inside.

Go back two rooms, then go southwest and down the stairs. DO NOT press the
red switch. It turns the stairs into a ramp and you cannot go back up.
Along the north side of the stairs is another closed eye. Go into this
secret passage to find a [_YELLOW MEDICINE_] on the left and a
[_BLUE MEDICINE_] on the right. Go south and outside, again.

Go south and grab the [_210G_] on the edge, the go in this new door.
Follow the path east and north until you reach [_70G_]. If you didn't
listen to me, and you just HAD to push the red button, then keep going and
drop off the ledge. Then find your way back to the elevator by reading
above where you first entered the second part of the Ruins. If you did
listen to me, thank you. Turn around and head south and west and back
outside. Then go in the other door and go up the stairs to the room, then
go northwest back to the elevator. Push the button to go down, then follow
the path east to a Save Point and Stashing Place. Use them if you want,
then go east and to a shelled boss.

Illusion. Go up to the glowing sphere like before in the Sult Ruins, and
the story of Alent will continue as Liete narrates. She says that Alent is
farther east than here, and there's no such thing as the End of the World.

So, just as we thought, that big old wall is just another obstacle. Sue
and Feena are kind of worried about crossing something that big, but
Justin's adventurous spirit never dwindles down, and he claims he'll be
the first one to cross the Misty Forest and return alive, and, and, well,
he just can't wait! (Calm down, Justin.)

Leave this room, and then head back to the elevator. and go back up. Go
south and follow the path back outside, go around and back in, then follow
this path and jump off of the ledge at the end. Go west, back outside,
across the platforms, and back to the first part of the Ruins. Follow the
path, go through the elevator room, and back to the first Save Point
inside the Ruins. NOW go north from here and jump off this ledge. Go west
and follow this path back to the Vestibule.

Find your way back to the main part where the Save Point is, and Feena
will speak up, wondering how they're going to climb the wall. Sue yells at
him for just assuming they'll get over it without knowing how, making
Feena have a little chuckle over their argument. After you regain control,
go on the north side of the stone pathway, and follow it west down the
hill, then back up the hill and go southwest to get inside of the pathway
again. Go west back to the Road to the Dom Ruins.

Walk forward a little, and Feena will notice a small boy lying on the
ground near them. He's been wounded badly, and Sue notices he has horns
and a tail! He will start to wake up, bite Justin, then pass out again.
Feena will decide to take him to her place, and as soon as they leave, the
honorable Garlyle Forces will show up. Nana, Saki, and Mio show up, and
they notice the trail of blood! Apparently, they are looking for this
'Humanoid', the boy Justin and company just took to Feena's house. After
they gripe at each other for a while, they'll decide to use the Force's
search hounds to track the boy. They'll then pull out and head back to
their base to prepare.

Back at Feena's house, his fever isn't getting any better. Feena decides
that we need to find some Sulfa Weed, which will help cure this type of
infectious fever. There should be some in the rocky mountains behind her
house, so gather your bearings, go to New Parm and buy some magic with
your Mana Egg, get some supplies. You will also want to sell that Magic
Lamp we acquired. It's worth a lot more in money than it is in its use.
When you're ready, head back to Feena's house. To the south of her actual
house is a fence. Examine it, and Justin will decide to take the fence
down with one of his "board-splitting kicks"! After he most likely broke
his foot, one lousy board will plop onto the ground, letting you go
through to the Herb Mountains.

[Items] Poison Antidote x3, Herbs x2, White Sulfa Weed x3, Smelling Salts,
        Seed of Life, Weeds
[Key Items] Sulfa Weed This place is a little confusing, so
[Enemies] Beetlebug----(108 HP) bear with me. As you enter, head north
Black Widow--(53 HP) and follow the path until you reach a
Purple Slime-(70 HP) fork. Go east and grab the
Roadcrawler--(40 HP) [_POISON ANTIDOTE_] to the north. Go
back down and keep following the path
north, passing a fork. Soon enough, you'll reach a dead-end. Grab another
[_POISON ANTIDOTE_] here, then turn around and keep going south, past the
entrance, and following the path to a dead-end with some [_HERBS_].

Go back a little to find two ramps; one going north, the other going east.
Let's go east first. After walking a little, go north at the first fork to
a DungeonScope Icon. Go north and follow the path, sticking to the west
side of it until you reach some more [_HERBS_]. Go back south and go east
at the fork, then go north to another fork. To the east is a DungeonScope
Icon, along with some Sulfa Weed. Feena will point out that this is white
and what we need is red. You'll pick up the [_WHITE SULFA WEED_] anyway.

Go west and follow the path around north and east, and keep going until
you find yet another DungeonScope Icon. If you use this one, you should be
able to see the Red Sulfa Weed, but we can't reach it just yet. Go south
from here and keep going until you reach some more forks. Go down the
first eastern path, and grab the [_SMELLING SALTS_] to the east and north.
Then go back west, then south, then east to the last [_POISON ANTIDOTE_]
here.

Go back west, then southwest to another DungeonScope Icon. You can see
some White Sulfa Weed to the south, and you can still barely see the Red
Sulfa Weed to the northwest. From the Icon, go east until you are back on
the bottom road. Walk south and follow this road until you reach some more
[_WHITE SULFA WEED_]. Go northwest and north at the first fork. Keep going
north to another [_WHITE SULFA WEED_].

Go south a little, then go west at this fork. Keep going until you can go
north, then do that. You'll eventually come to a [_SEED OF LIFE_]. Go back
south and this time, go southwest and down the ramp. Go east and follow
the path until you go back down to the base ground. Keep going until you
reach another ramp. Go up it and follow it for a while, then use the
DungeonScope Icon nearby. Grab the [_WEEDS_] to the south, then turn
around and head north past the Icon, go down the ramp to the west, and go
north until you can finally pick up the [_SULFA WEED_].

Go west from the Sulfa Weed and drop down off of the ledge. Go north,
northwest, then north and east until you find a DungeonScope Icon. Go
north and drop off of this ledge, Go east and follow along the northern
wall, up one ramp and down another, then there's a long walk, then you go
up another ramp, followed by another long walk until you can go down a
ramp. Then go northwest and go west at that fork to get back to Feena's
House.

Before going inside of her house, I recommend going back to New Parm and
selling all of the stuff you don't need and stocking up on what you will
need; put it in the Stashing Place if you don't have room. Just don't go
nuts and buy everything and run your money out. It may be a while before
you can get to another store, but that store will have better items than
this one. When you're ready, go back to Feena's House.

In her house, Feena has already administered the Sulfa Weed and the boy's
fever has gone down. Feena thinks that he might be from the Misty Forest,
and that will get Justin very excited, thinking that the boy knows about
Angelou and may be an Icarian. After they quiet back down, they decide to
take him back to his home. Justin will go to sleep and Feena will watch
over him for the night.

The next morning, strange music will start playing, and Sue will wake
everyone up. Feena will hear a flute outside. Save, then go outside. Sue
will point him out, so go over there. He starts talking in a different
language that no one can understand. After everyone is confused, the boy
brings out a nut, but before anyone can understand what to do with it, the
Garlyle Forces will come out and quickly surround the four of them. The
three sergeants, Nana, Saki, and Mio will recognize you, and demand that
you give the humanoid to them.

Justin and company will refuse, only to anger Saki some more, letting it
slip that the humanoid is part of a top secret plan! Because of her mouth,
they all decide to take you back to the base. Justin gets ready to fight,
but there are way too many soldiers to even have a chance at it. They will
then be forcefully taken to the Garlyle Base north of Feena's House.

[Enemies] Private--(110 HP) Garlyle Base, you'll see Justin and company
Saki-----(1000 HP) being escorted to the prison by Nana, while
Nana-----(900 HP) Saki and Mio take the humanoid. They'll
Mio------(700 HP) toss Justin and Sue in a cell, then leave.
Sergeant-(220 HP) There's only one guard here, along with a
glittering pipe. Hmmm, so what do we do?

Examine the hefty pipe, and Justin decides to use it as a weapon while Sue
decides to fall to the ground and start screaming about her stomach. The
guard will open the gate to check on her, and WHAM! The guard will be out,
so go to the southeast to the next cell to find Feena. You have to find a
key to get this cell open, so go southeast again to another room. Go
inside this room up here to find a soldier giving a report on the radio.
Justin will sneak up and clobber him too while the key falls off him. Pick
up the Jail Key, then grab the [_RESURRECT POTION_] beside it. Then leave
the room.

AHHH! Jeez, there's about 20 of them! They'll knock Justin out, and then
you'll see him tied up and suspended from the ceiling. He starts yelling,
then the soldiers will tell him to shut up. Leen will walk in. She'll go
in the cell to talk to Justin, and they'll start arguing. He'll mouth off
again, and Leen will slap Justin. He'll want to escape, but Leen says he
can't unless he stole a military train. She'll order the other guards to
leave, and when they do, she'll lock the door and she thinks that there's
plenty of time before they carry out your sentence, so she'll drop the
key in your cell.

Justin decides to wriggle free from the rope. After you do, grab the Jail
Key, then go into the next room and free Sue and Feena. Go into the next
room and past the one where you got caught in. Go up the stairs to the
Barracks.

The door here is locked. Use the Save Point here, and grab the
[_ULTRA DRINK_]. Go up the barrels and into the duct system. Crawl along
the path and you can stop at each grating to hear some soldiers talk about
such and such. Keep crawling and you'll eventually come to the Warehouse.

Once you leave this duct, you'll hear the humanoid's voice. Look over, and
you'll see him and Mullen speaking to each other in the same language!
Leen will come in to ask him how the questioning is going. He can't seem
to find anything out because the boy is still scared. After they leave,
Feena and Sue will come out and ask Justin what just happened. Go around
the outside on the grating into a different section of the ducts.

Follow the path here out to another room. Sue and Feena notice the door
here, and it needs a combination to be opened. I could tell you the
combination, but we'll miss out on some stuff, as well as a really funny
scene! If you want it that bad, scroll down through the guide and find it.

This time go up the western barrels and boxes to enter this duct. Go west
and keep going west up to the first fork AFTER you go under the bridge.
Instead of listening to a conversation, a soldier will actually see you!
Fight him, and after he's done, grab the [_SOLDIER'S UNIFORM_] in the
chest. Go back up and into the ducts and go south. Check every fork, even
though some of them are closed. The one on the east, and you'll find a
tidy soldier. Beat him up, and take the [_OFFICER'S UNIFORM_] out of this
chest.

Go back into the ducts and continue south. Follow it as it turns east, and
again as it turns north. Go east at this fork into the Locker Room. Go
forward, and you'll see Nana, Saki, and Mio in their underwear! They'll be
talking about their rashes and bras and stuff. It's pretty funny. They'll
then talk about the password to that door. Ignore what Saki says, then
ignore what Nana says. Mio will be correct. The password is...

RIGHT RIGHT LEFT LEFT DOWN UP DOWN UP

Crawl back and go into the main vents. Go north some more, and you'll be
at then end with a soldier in here. Fight him, then go through this door.
You'll be back at the room with the locked door! Enter the above code, and
Justin will feel proud of himself, then be extremely embarrassed about Sue
and Feena knowing that Justin was spying on the three and watching them
change. Go north and down into the warehouse.

Use the Save Point here, then go forward through the door, and talk to the
boy. Go to the east side of the cage and use the crank to lift the giant
cage. The boy will come out and offer to give you three nuts this time.
Everyone will decide to eat it at the same time, and when they do, they
start running around and going nuts.

The boy will ask if you're alright, and Justin will start to scold him
before realizing that they can now understand him. His name is Rem, and he
just gave you a Communique Nut, which allows you to understand him now.
Now they just need to escape. Go south and back up to the barracks.

As you start to leave the next room, you'll run into Saki. You'll have to
fight her now.
  ________
  |*BOSS*| First off, you might want to use Midair Cut

[Gold] 300G around 20 damage, but she shouldn't be that hard if you keep

After you beat her, grab the [_MASTER KEY_] on the ground. You can now

hard to see, but grab the [_80G_] to the southwest of the door, then go
south to another [_80G_]. Go east into this door. Go north, then east and
south and grab the [_ARMY SABER_] lying on the ground.

Go west and go in the first door to the north if you want to fight some
soldiers in here. Back out in the hallway, go west some more and go past
the fork to the south. Keep going and go into the next door to the north.
The first door to the east has some soldiers to fight. The second door to
the east is one that you have previously visited from the ducts. The third
door to the east has more soldiers to fight.

The third door to the west is one that you have previously visited from
the ducts. The second door to the west has some soldiers you can fight,
along with a pair of [_ARMY BOOTS_]. The first door to the west has more
soldiers to fight.

Go back out to the hallway. The door to the south of you has the Save

of the room and back east. Now go south at the fork, and you'll run into
Nana. You'll have to fight her too.

Go back north and west down the hallway and to that Save Point by the

The sirens are going off, since you've been spotted. First off, grab the

along the pipeline. When two pipelines meet, go west and grab the [_80G_]
along this one. Go back to the two main pipelines and follow the eastern
one to find some [_ARMY DARTS_] in a chest.

Go back to the two main pipelines and continue to follow them all the way
north to another [_80G_]. Go east from this one and check to the north
beside two crates to find the last [_80G_]. Continue east, and you'll run
into Mio. Guess what? You gotta fight her.
  ________
  |*BOSS*| She may have the lowest HP, but her attacks

[Gold] 300G have Zap! for this battle. Hehehe). you should make it out
[Items] N/A of this one alive.

Use the Save Point and Stashing Place here if you need to, then head east
and into the Military Train Switchyard. Justin will see the Military Train
that Leen was talking about. Go down this set of stairs to the ground,
then go north and down these steps and go up the steps to the train.
Justin will go in and quickly operate it. It will speed of and break out
of the base.

Back aboard the Grandeur, Leen and Mullen planned to let the boy escape so
they can follow him. They'll then decide to prepare the Grandeur to follow
the chase through the air. You'll see an FMV of the Grandeur taking off
from the Garlyle Base.

Back aboard the Military Train, it is morning. Justin has been driving all
night, and Feena wants to take over while Justin shovels some coal. He
accidentally pulls the lever to the parking brake instead of the other
lever. The scene goes forward to a little later when all four of them are
talking together. You can now ask Rem question. As before, you can choose
the questions in any order, but you have to do all three. As before, I
always go from top to bottom. Rem tells you that he is from Luc Village,
and that he'll take you there because outsiders can't find it!

You'll then hear an explosion. Justin will head to the back of the train
and peek out to see some Kites following the Military Train! Back inside,
open the chest here for a [_CRIMSON POTION_]. Then go northwest to the
next cabin to fight a Private here. After you beat him, go forward a
little more to face another Private. Grab the [_80G_] beside him after he
falls, then go to the next cabin.

Fight the member of the Lightning Star Squad here, then get the [_80G_] on
the left side of the car. Then go to the next cabin. Fight the member of
the Bloody Rose Squad here, who happens to be a Sergeant rather than a
Private. After you beat him, take on the member of the Desert Moon Squad.
After you have finished all three squads, take the [_OFFICER'S BADGE_] to
the right of the last soldier you fought.

Finally, go forward to the engine room. They'll decide to fight them as
they come, and to hit the brakes. Justin will go to the brake lever, and
he'll break the brake! Justin will then come up with an idea. The scene
will flash to the three female Sergeants coming into the engine room.
Justin will then come in behind them. They'll get ready to fight him, and
he'll tell Feena and Sue to release the link between the cars. Justin will
jump back to his car as the engine separates.

They think what he just did was really stupid, since they'd just hit the
brakes and they'd catch up! But, they'll notice that the lever is gone!
Justin also stoked up the fire nice and good, so they're going to fly for
a loooong time. That takes care of them for now.

Use the Save Point to the west, then grab the [_90G_] to the northeast.
Walk east from here and follow the path with [_90G_] along the way. Turn
around and head back to the Save Point. Head directly west-northwest from
the DungeonScope Icon into another area. Follow the path up to a

north up to another DungeonScope Icon. Go northeast and then go west from
the open area and you should come across [_90G_] to your south when the
path turns north.

Head back east to the open area, and go east some more. Follow the path
to a three-way fork. Go north and grab the [_BAOBAB FRUIT_]. Walk
northwest to a somewhat open area. Go northeast and as the path turns
north, look for a small clearing with [_90G_] there. Go south and keep
walking west. You should come across [_270G_] around the corner. Go west
and follow the path to a river with [_90G_] on a stone there.

Cross the river and go northwest, then east. Keep following the path east

[My Level] Justin [13], Sue [11], Feena [12] Talk to Rem at the

[Stashing Places] Rem's House everyone about you, and that the Village
Chief would like to meet you. Then he'll
run off to his house. But, as usual, we want to look around before we do
that.

The TownScope Icon is very handy here, as I am always confused of where I
am. The Village Chief's house is the one to the far east with the bridge
connecting it. The Weapons Store is just north of the beginning of the
bridge. In here, there are a few new weapons that I recommend you buy. I
had over 30000G when I came here, so I bought my share. There are also
Tree God Amulets for 1000G in the accessories. I recommend buying four of
them, since they reduce the SP needed to use skills!

Back outside, Rem's house is the one west-southwest of the Weapons Store.
It is a little wider than the other houses. In here, you can use the
Stashing Place, but you cannot go to sleep here just yet. There's a Save
Point to the northwest if you need to use it. This place is also the
entrance to the God of Light Mountain. You can't go here just yet either.
To the northeast is the exit to the East Misty Forest, but it's too misty
and we can't go there yet. So, we might as well go to the Village Chief's
house to the east.

First off, he thanks you for saving Rem. Then he asks you to leave as soon
as possible. The only reason for this is because you need to receive the
blessing of the God of Light. Then you'll be considered a member of Luc
Village, and you could stay. I guess that's what we're gonna do, eh?

Leave here, and go northwest to the Save Point and gate. Use the Save
Point, then go northwest through the gate and up to the foot of the God of
Light Mountain.

open area and go directly southwest to [_100G_]. Go back one more time and
go directly west to a DungeonScope Icon. Grab the [_100G_] to the
northwest of the Icon, then head all the way back to the two original dirt
paths; one going north and the other going west.

Go west just a little to another fork. Ignore the path with the posts and
head west-northwest to a [_SEED OF LIFE_]. Go back to the posts and go
north under them. At this fork (there's a lot of these, sheesh), go
northeast to [_100G_]. Go back (again), and head northwest to another open
area. Head straight northwest, to something that resembles a fork, being
separated by rocks and plants. Take the northeastern path to a
[_PARALYSIS CHARM_].

There's nothing to the northwest of this one, so go back to the entrance
of this big area near the DungeonScope Icon. From this Icon, go northwest
to find [_100G_] nearby. Head north from here until you reach the peak of
the mountain.

Start climbing up, and when you see it, take the southwestern path off to
the side. There is [_300G_], [_100G_], [_100G_], and a
[_RESURRECT POTION_] here. As you climb up the mountain, look for a
[_MIST-CRACKING WHIP_] near the edge. Right before you reach the top, take
the southeastern path to a [_LIGHT GOD AMULET_], and a chest containing a
[_BOND OF TRUST_].

Now, go forward and up to the statue. At the bottom of the statue is the
[_NECTAR OF THE GODS_], so grab it. Also, grab the [_100G_] to the
southwest of the statue. Now it's time to head back to Luc Village. You
know how to get back there, right? If you don't, head back down to the
foot, then go far south, past a DungeonScope Icon, then southeast. Follow
this path back to the posts. Get off the dirt path and head east along the
mountain, taking the first path south back to Luc Village.

Go to the eastern side of the village to the Chief's house. Talk to him,
and after you "drink" the nectar, the God of Light will accept you. The
Chief will try and talk you out of crossing the End of the World, because
you can't get past the mist. He won't even let you have a mist-clearing
nut to help you get past it. Justin will then want to hear all of the
Icarian legends told in Luc. After hearing about how the Icarians and
the humans were separated by the End of the World, the Chief suggests
going to Rem's house to get some sleep.

Once you get to Rem's house, talk to his mother and Save if you want, then
choose to eat and stay overnight. After the usual and somewhat comical
dinner event, the scene will shift back to the Grandeur, where some
officers have spotted the humanoid village due to the clearing of some of
the mist. They then plan to prepare to set up a drop point there. Leen
will be in command, because she's the only one who can feel "it's"
presence.

Everyone is worried because the Garlyle Forces are coming, so head out of
Rem's house and see that the village is panicking; their icon is about to
be stolen, and they cannot stop the Forces because no one there has ever
fought before. Justin gladly volunteers himself and company to fend of the
Forces. Go northwest and back to the mountain.

As you climb towards the mountain, you'll face 5 or 6 (I lost count)
different sets of the Sergeants. Climb your way to the top (if you're
lost, read back a little), and when you finally reach the top of the peak,
you'll see the statue being hoisted off by Leen. Just as Justin starts to
mouth off to Leen, Leen sees Feena. It turns out, Leen is Feena's sister.
Leen doesn't let that get in the way, though, and starts to run off with
the statue. Justin takes a long jump after it, and lands on it with Leen.
Leen wants Feena and everyone to just leave and stay away from the Forces,
but Justin won't let them take the statue.

Leen says thinks that this statue is the Spirit Stone. As she gets ready
to knock Justin off, the real Spirit Stone starts resonating with the God
of Light statue, and the statue breaks, letting Justin tumble to the
ground. Back on the Grandeur, Leen tells Mullen that Justin is the one who
has the Spirit Stone. Mullen will have to deal with him himself, later
that is.

Back on the ground, Feena and Sue find Justin, and the three of them try
and help out by taking the remaining pieces of the statue back to the top
of the mountain. After they've collected all the pieces, the villagers
show up. They try to apologize to them, but the Chief tells them that it's
the fact that they fought for the village, not the protection of the
statue. For that, the chief gives Justin a [_MIST-CLEARING NUT_]. The
Chief says that because they've been sheltered for such a long time, they
haven't been able to meet great people like Justin and co.

After that heart-felt moment, head back down to the village, and get
whatever you need to have done, done. You may want to hang around and
fight at the God of Light Mountain since there's a Save Point right
outside of it for recovery. Whenever you feel prepared, Save if you want,
then go to the northeastern side of the village. Go through the gate to
get back out to the World Map. Then go to the Misty Forest.

Killer Tree-(80 HP) use the Mist-Clearing Nut. Now that the
Dodo--------(96 HP) path is clear, we can go on. Use the Save

Mist Guard--(95 HP) [_110G_] at a dead-end. Go back to the
Ent---------(55 HP) Save Point, then go southeast to a
DungeonScope Icon. Go south from it to
find [_110G_]. Go back to the Icon and take the eastern path to find
[_110G_]. Go east a couple steps, then go south to a chest with a
[_CRIMSON POTION_] in it. Go back to the fork and go northeast to find
some items. You'll most likely be ambushed before you grab them. Fight off
all the enemies, then grab the [_330G_] [_110G_]. and the
[_CHOLLA FLOWERS_].

Go south, then east to a fork. Go south first, following the path to yet
another [_110G_]. Go back and head east to a DungeonScope Icon. Grab the
[_RESURRECT POTION_] near it, then use the Icon. There are many paths to
go, so I hope I find everything. Go south to [_110G_], the go back to the
Icon. Go southeast and follow the path as it turns south. You should come
across [_330G_], then the path turns north with a fork right there. Go
northwest to get back to the icon. Go north first and around the curve to
find more [_CHOLLA FLOWERS_]. Go northeast from here to find a
[_BAOBAB FRUIT_]. Go southeast and follow the arrow to the second part of
the East Misty Forest.

Go east and follow the path to a river. Cross it and go forward a little,
and Feena will suggest camping here for the night. Feena still can't
believe they're on an actual adventure. Somehow, Leen comes into the
conversation, and Feena starts being all gloomy about it, wondering why
she's after the Spirit Stone. After she gets out of her gloomy state,
it's time for bed.

The next morning, you'll regain control. There's another Save Point to the
northeast, so make good use of it. Go north, east, and northeast to a
DungeonScope Icon. By using it, you can see a path going north and one
going east with a fork. Go southwest a little, and take that eastern path.
Keep going east and grab the [_110G_] here, then go west a little, then
north to another [_110G_].

Make your way back to the Icon, then head north from there. Pretty soon,
you'll reach a lake with a river... running through... the lake. (?) Well,
it's not really a lake, so just ignore it and go southwest among the trees
to find [_330G_]. Go back north and cross the river where the stone is,
then go northeast and grab [_110G_].

Go back to the rock in the river, and go west to another DungeonScope
Icon. Go west-southwest from here to yet another Icon. Go west from here
and follow the path until you reach a dead-end with a hard-to-see
[_ORACLE'S STAFF_] nearby. Then turn around and head back to the Icon. Go
north and follow the path to another fork. Go west and grab the [_110G_]
lying there, then go far east; don't stop until you find a
[_SMARNA WEED_]. Go west a little, then go south and across the river to
the third area of the East Misty Forest.

Go southeast to a DungeonScope Icon. Further southeast is some
[_GINSENG_], so grab it. Go back northwest and head east to a fork. Go
north to find [_110G_], again, at a dead-end, again. Go back to the fork
and go southeast to ANOTHER FORK. Go north and pick up the [_110G_] on the
way. Follow the path some more to another DungeonScope Icon. Go south,
then east, then north for a while until you reach another Icon. Go east
first, until you reach a... dead-end! Grab the [_Smarna Weed_] here, then
go back to the Icon and head north. Grab the [_110G_], and use the
DungeonScope Icon.

Ignore the path to the east for now, and go southwest. At the next fork,
go north and follow the path to a... dead-end... with [_110G_]... hidden
off to the northeast. Go back to the fork and go west-southwest and use
the Icon. Go south, west, north, and northeast to find another [_110G_].
Go back to the Icon one last time, and go south-southwest and follow the
path. Grab the [_110G_] around the curve, then continue north, following
the path until you reach a fork. Go west to find another [_BAOBAB FRUIT_],
then turn around and continue east.

When you reach a somewhat open area, go south and grab the
[_SEED OF SPEED_] at this dead-end. Go back and head east-southeast,
following the path and ignoring the fork that goes off to the west; the
one we ignored earlier. You'll reach a Save Point, so use it. Go forward a
little to discover that you have made it to the End of the World!

Justin starts bragging that they've made it to the End of the World, and
since they've come this far, they will climb it, no matter how high it is!

*[.NOTE.]* You can still go back to Luc Village from the End of the World
via the World Map. Nice and easy, eh? I do recommend going back and making
room in your inventory.

Clay Bird----(203 HP) south and bump into the block so it
Sonic Bat----(81 HP) falls down. Then keep going south until
Emerald Bird-(268 HP) you reach some stairs going down. Go to
their edge so the stairs go up, then go
up the zigzagging stairs. Grab the [_SEED OF SPEED_] to the south while
you watch out for the giant crushing block above you. Go north and east
quickly and grab the [_FRUIT OF AGILITY_] before getting crushed. Go north
and then east into the little hole so the little blocks shift and allow
you to go up. Before you do, go north along the skinny edge and grab the
[_110G_]. Take the northern lift up to the second area of the End of the
World.

Go south first, and grab the [_110G_]. Head back north, and the stairs
will drop, leaving you no choice but to use the block to the west. Go
south and pick up the [_PAPERWEIGHT_], then go back north and fall off to
the west. Go north and down, then up the stairs and take the block up. Go
north to a chest. If you can, avoid getting squished, then run back and
get the [_ORB OF SILENCE_] out of the chest.

Head south and up the stairs, then ride the block up. Go north and grab
the [_GUST KNIFE_], then go back south, fall down, take the block back up,
then go south and ride this block to the third area. Go south and up the
stairs to find a place to rest.

At this event, everyone is surprised about how high they are. No one
believed that they would come this far, which brings Java in the
conversation. Feena is shocked to hear that they know Java, and that he's
more famous than they thought. Then it's time for tomorrow's adventures.

Use the Stashing Place and Save Point if you need to, then go south. Push
the button you come across, then go up via the block. Go north some, and
hopefully you don't get pushed off completely by the trap. Push the button
here too, then go west and onto the block that goes... up! Go all the way
south and ride another block up, then go north, over the block that comes
down, and grab the [_110G_] on the other side. Then go up the stairs to
the fourth area.

Go north a little, and you'll see a big statue. Get close enough to where
it starts moving toward you, then lure it under the shaking rock so it
will be crushed. Go north and onto another block going up, then go south.
You'll see another statue, but it throws itself off (literally). Go south,
then go up on another block. Go north, grab the [_110G_], and examine the
bird here; it will fly up. Step on the button it was sitting on to face a
Clay Bird. After you beat it, go north and use the action icon to go to
the fifth area.

Go south and past the crushing blocks, until you reach another chest. It's
the same trap as before, so try to avoid it. Grab the [_BOND OF TRUST_]
out of it, then go back north and up the stairs that shifted. Push the
button so you can go up some more, then go south and take this one across.
Go south and drop down the hole in the ground. Drop off to the north and
get the [_330G_] there, then drop off again and make your way back up. Go
past the hole this time, then go up to the sixth area of the End of the
World.
You'll set up camp here again.

Sue is tired of walking, and it has just become boring. Even Feena starts
to lose faith, but Justin puts forward some more of his pep talk, and
Feena starts to regain faith. Eventually they'll reach the top.

As usual, use the Stashing Place and Save Point if you need to, then go
north and push the button. Go north while avoiding the spotlights so you
don't get squished by the blocks. Use the block at the end, then grab the
[_110G_] that's there. Go south a little, and you'll see a hole in the
wall, as well as in the ground. You can go in the wall if you want to
fight a bunch of Sonic Bats, or you could just simply avoid the hole in
the ground. Just to let you know, there's an infinite number of Bats back
there, and there's a Save Point nearby; just jump down the hole and push
the button on the right to go back down there. This is a lovely place to
get your weapons and magic up. It's your choice. Whenever you're done with
that, go south and use the action icon to go to the seventh area.

Go south and take the block up, then go north and grab [_110G_]. Push the
button here, then go north some more. Go north and make your way to the
next button, and push it too. Run all the way south to see the curled up
stairs, then run north and those will do it too. Fight the Emerald Bird
that comes out, along with the Sonic Bats. After you beat them, go south
and drop off, then go north and up some stairs. Fight the Clay Bird that
pops out of here, then grab the [_110G_] on the ground. Use the Action
Icon as usual to go to the eighth area.

Go north and onto another block. Go up, then stay against the wall as you
go east, because a laser will come through and cut off the outer half of
the walkway. Get to the other side, and take that block up. Carefully go
north, avoiding the mechanical arms, until you get to the other side where
[_110G_] awaits. Make the arm come in and miss you, but hit the hole it's
supposed to, to make the platform come down. Use the action icon and take
it to the ninth area.

Go north and fight the Birds here, which shouldn't be too hard if you have
good magic. Push the button they were circling around to drop the entire
floor except the block you were on. After it goes up, go up to the tenth
area of the End of the World.

Go north and up the stairs, and Feena will call it a day. At this event,
even Justin has now lost faith. Feena then preaches unto him what he
always said to her. After realizing that, Justin then regains confidence.
They will climb this wall!

The next morning, the sun will start to shine on them! Run up the stairs
to see that we have finally made it to the top!!! After they all stand in
awe, you'll regain control. Go south and look at the machinery. Sue will
go up to the edge to figure out how to get down. Some flying things will
then come and pick up Sue, and drop her off the wall! Two more will come
and throw Justin and Feena off too...

*BOSS*---Gadwin----(300 HP) giant leaf. The whole place is full of huge
Rock Man--(81 HP) plants. But there's still no sign of Sue.

There's a Stashing Place and Save Point here if you need them. Go to the
northeast of the platform to go down to the ground, then go south to find
[_360G_]. Go north, northeast, and north. Once you get past the rocks to
your west, go west and south along the End of the World, then go east into
the rock pile to find [_120G_]. Go north and when you run into a block
that looks like the ones in that giant wall, go east-northeast from it to
find a [_POISON ANTIDOTE_]. Go west, then north. As you go north, look for
[_120G_] to your west beside a rock.

Continue north and you'll find a DungeonScope Icon to your east. Go east,
southeast, and south until you reach a fork. Go south and follow the path
until you reach a dead-end with a [_BAMO FRUIT_]. Go back to the fork and
grab the [_120G_] to the east. Then go southeast to find [_360G_] at a
dead-end. Go back to the fork and head northeast to another DungeonScope
Icon. Go directly north from here to find some [_CHOLLA FLOWERS_]. Go back
south and go east where the grass looks a little different. A plant will
form some stairs, so go down them, Go northeast to the part 2 of the
Valley of the Flying Dragon.

Go south until you reach a river. Go east and north, and watch out for the
giant plant that tries to bite you on the way. Once you reach the fork
before the open area, go southeast and south to find [_120G_] beside the
river. Go back to the open area and go northeast. After walking for a
while, you'll come across [_SUE'S SHOES_].

You're standing at a fork now, so go west and south to find another
portion of the river. There's a [_RESURRECT POTION_] in the chest here, so
grab it, then head back to the fork. Go south and you'll reach another
fork. Go northeast first to find a [_VACCINE_], then go back and head
south and southwest. Go across the plant that became a bridge, then go
west-northwest all the way to the edge where you'll find a
[_FRUIT OF MAGIC_].

Turn around and head east past the bridge, cross the strait, and keep
following the path until you find Puffy. He's puffing like crazy, but it's
not like we could understand him anyway. He'll lead the way to Sue, but
before you follow him, grab the [_120G_] that's been taunting you for a
while. Then follow Puffy northeast to the third area.

You'll be led to a giant cauldron full of boiling stew. Next to the
cauldron is Sue's bag. When Justin and Feena are thinking the worst, a
very large-built warrior comes up to you. When Justin asks him if that pot
is his, he'll tell you that he ate it all, and Feena will faint. Justin
will then challenge the man, who says he is Gadwin, Knight of Dight.
  ________
  |*BOSS*|
*************** Don't even think that you can beat him. HEY! I said
[ Gadwin-(300 HP) ] don't even think about it! Listen to me!
  ***************

Game Over... just kidding.

After you come to, you'll see Sue, Feena, and Dr. Alma from Dight Village.
She tells you that the stew was Gadwin's special, Flying Dragon stew. She
is introduced, and Sue tells you that she was the one who saved her when
she fell in the forest. Alma can't believe that Justin tried to duel with
Gadwin, then he comes out and tells her that Justin didn't do all that bad
for his age.

Alma will return to Dight because of the rain, and then you'll be in
another Dinner Event. Justin apologizes to Gadwin, and they'll talk about
the miscellaneous stuff. Gadwin lives here because of the dragons; it's a
good place for him to train. Gadwin decides that he'll help you, then
you'll be able to ask the three-question-set, again. After I asked the
first one, I couldn't go back to ask the other ones, so you might want to
try the other two first. Gadwin will want to make a man-to-man promise
with Justin; to help each other whenever they're in need. After that, it's
time to go to bed, and Gadwin will take us to Dight tomorrow.

The next morning, go inside of the big fish here, which is Gadwin's House.
Use the Save Point in here if you want, then leave the fish. Walk directly
east of the mouth of the fish to find a small opening in the rocks. Go in
it and grab the [_120G_] to the northeast. Go to the tail of the fish and
go east. When you come up to the rocks, press X and they'll be blown away.
Go east and south to find some more rocks to the east to be blown away.
Get rid of them, then grab the [_SEED OF POWER_] there.

Head back to the fish again, and go south this time. Use the action icon
to blow all the rocks away, go south a little, and open the chest to find
a [_FIRE CHARM_] inside. Head south and follow the path some more to
[_120G_]. Then head east, and then north to some more of those rocks. Get
rid of them, then grab the [_360G_] that was behind them. Go back and go
east some more, then turn north and a plant will form a ladder. Go past it
first, and grab the ever-useful [_MANA EGG_].

Now go up the ladder, then go south. Follow the curving path until another
plant forms a bridge. Go across the bridge and north to [_120G_]. Go back
and cross the bridge, then go north until you reach the fourth area.

Immediately, you'll see and action icon. Go southeast first and grab
[_120G_], then go back and use the Icon. Go north, past the carnivorous
plant, to a fork. Go north and grab [_360G_], then go back and go east to
an open area. Go northeast along the rock to find another [_MANA EGG_] in
hiding.

*[.NOTE.]* Make sure Gadwin doesn't have anything you'll want to use as
soon as you get to Dight, because he'll leave temporarily, which can be a
pain if he has your Mana Eggs.

Go back and head south, past a giant flower on the ground that can hurt
you, to another open area. Go southeast to find [_120G_], then go back and
head north to a big rock. Press X to bust it up, then grab the [_120G_]
you can see. Then get the [_SLOUCH WEED_] behind the spinning plant. Go
back to the path and head east to leave the Valley of the Flying Dragon.

Now go to Dight Village.

[My Level] Justin [16], Sue [14], Feena [16], Gadwin [30 ] As I said
[Save Points] Dight Inn before, when
[Stashing Places] Dight Inn you enter, Gadwin will comment on the clouds
that are moving towards them, then he'll
leave to talk to the Village Elder.

Before you go to the Inn right as you enter, go to the building next to it
to the south. It's the Weapon's Store. I recommend using your two Mana
Eggs to get the other two spells for Sue, unless you feel Feena really
needs one, even though we'll be getting a couple more soon enough. Then
buy whatever you want; there's plenty of new and good weapons and armor,
especially the Dragon Bone Ax if you can afford it. There are Mikeroma
Scrolls for sale here; they're not as good as the First Aid Kits, but if
you're out, or just didn't buy extra, these are the next best thing for
a while.

When you're done shopping, head to the Inn. You'll see a rabbit talking
to himself. Sue gets all excited over a talking rabbit. He's offended by
being called a rabbit, and he somehow knows you came across the wall. He
is Guido from Zil Padon; he's a traveling salesman. If you talk to him
some more, he tells you that he is a Mogay, not a rabbit. He also happens
to know Justin's name, since Mogay do know everything.

After you're done talking to Guido, get the stuff out of the Stashing
Place that you want to get rid of, and get those Air Sneakers out of there
that I told you to buy. Give them to Gadwin when he gets back. You did buy
them, didn't you??? Oh, and get the Tree God Amulet out of there too, if
you have it. Talk to the guy at the desk to stay the night.

The next morning, Gadwin is back, and he had a very long talk with the
Elder. Everything should be fine as long as it doesn't rain. Feena points
out that it's raining right now. Gadwin will zoom off, so follow the road,
and you'll come to the beach where Gadwin is getting ready to go to
Typhoon Tower. Before he can, though, two heroes are needed to retrieve
the Sp
