" Alent Project was born in 1998 from the association of
passionate people who wanted to make one of the greatest games ever,
Grandia, understandable by non-Japanese speakers. The Alent
Project site (http://grandia.dreamcast-hq.net) has from then
united all 3 of the available fan-translations of Grandia with the
hope an official translation would come... which finally happened.
As of october 1999, an english version of Grandia has finally
been released. Even if we weren'table to translate all the game,
we've made it to over 50% of the storyline conversations.
We staff members think it's been great to work all together to
put up this translation. Now, most players can enjoy the full
official translation, and the time has come to say goodbye. Alent
Project is now over, but we may see you again someday, if another
great RPG such as Grandia remains untranslated. This is no
farewell, this is only goodbye... "

Our Shogun has made many contributions to the field of archaeology,
among them is the establishment of this museum... Wow, if it wasn't
for this guy, we'd probably never get to view all these cool relics !

At the time the Saruto Ruins were discovered, they were the biggest
the world had seen. Its gigantic size exceeded all expectations. The
ruins were discovered in the Saruto area northwest of Parm, and are
thought to have been the stronghold of a powerful ruler in ancient
times... Hey, my grandfather discovered Saruto Ruins ! And one day,
I'll make my own great discoveries !

Enjule is the ancient name for our civilization. Enjulian is the
ancient equivelent of Parmian, our ancient culture is known as the
Enjule culture. This term is used to clearly distinguish between
ancient and modern times in history and archaeology. In modern Parm,
there is a well known story called the Legend of Enjule. Could this
story have been passed on from ancient times ? Most experts believe
that the legend was actually created by a very powerful and
influential ruler of Enjule. However, the exact meaning of the legend
remains a mystery to this day.

Ah, you're just in time, Justin, my boy ! Now why don't you have a

the Koyokujin created a dreamlike world, a true paradise, with the
power of the Spirit Stone. There are a number of interesting ideas in
the legend... They are things about a city that floated in the sky, a
ship that could travel to the stars...

The place where time is frozen, the Holy Land, the home of the Spirit
Stone !

And the immortal high priest that lives there !

legend, these utopian ideas seem to have almost certainly been
fabricated by a very influential ruler of Enjule. This king invented
such things as spirits and Spirit Stones to try to legitimize his
existence.

doesn't seem like much fun.

Ha, ha, ha. I'm sorry ! I too prefer talking about more exciting

authenticity, but right now I'm going to return it to its rightful
owner.

for too long, or your power meter will become too high, and you'll
get exhausted. The trick to it is to properly pace yourself. Also
remember that you might get award if you do well, so try not to do
a shoddy job.
