Introduction:
Shadow Madness has a quite interesting feature; useless items. Some of the
items you find during your quest don't actually do anything, other than take up
space in your inventory. Which isn't good, because this is one of those games
with a rather limited inventory space, so you will probably toss them once you
find a new treasure chest while your inventory is already full. Of course, you
could try holding on to them to sell them in the shops, but they usually just
give you 1-5 gold. Conclusion; if these items are really useless and worthless,
just toss them and continue.
BUT, here's the interesting bit: take the correct useless item to the right
shop, and it will sell for MUCH more, actually making the items worthy
treasures!
To make it easier for you, I have compiled a list of which items should be
taken to which stores, to fetch the higher prices. However, somewhere along the
way I lost the prices, so I can only tell you where to take each item. Later
on, I checked this information with Prima's guide (telling me one or two items
I missed), but sadly the guide also doesn't mention the prices of the items. I
will probably never play this game again (why? read my review on gamefaqs.com),
so if anyone has information on prices to submit, please do so and I will add
them to this list, while giving proper credit.
note: Where there was a difference in an item/location name between my own work
and Prima's guide, I followed their names.
