I decided to rewrite this FAQ completely from scratch. There are many reasons
for that. Outdated personal info, some errors that I do not want to sort out
anymore. I also wanted to set one lay-out for all my FAQs from now on. So
here it is.

Before I continue I'd like to have a word with those who played Wild Arms -
Alter Code F. I can understand that if you played ACF before but never played
the original game, that you want to play it in order to see how it all began.
If you can tolerate older games, then you made a good choice and I'm sure that
you won't be disappointed. However WA-ACF only borrowed the story from WA1.
When it comes to the gameplay both games really set each other apart. So it's
better that you forget all you know about Alter Code F, and consider this game
as a game on its own.

| How to use this FAQ | IDXA001 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Using a walkthrough is no fun. Trying out everything yourself makes a game
so much better. However I completely understand it that there are places
where you can get stuck. And that's where I come in. This guide is therefore
written that way that you can easily pick the spot to look. Look in the index
where you get stuck and press Ctrl-F (Apple-F if you are a Mac-user), type
over the index code that is noted behind the part in the index, and press
enter. The browser should bring you to the right spot (if not do it again,
or (in most browsers), press Ctrl-G (Apple-G on Mac) or click on find next if
you are a Firefox user).

Second notice is that I give up my own levels at the start of each mission
and at every boss fight. These are by NO WAY RECOMMENDATIONS! I don't believe
in level up. For me it's just a time-eating way of cheating. I could use a
GameShark for that, eats much less time. However if you never played an RPG
before, I strongly recommend that you be at least at the same level or even
higher in level than I am. If you are an expert on RPG then ignore the fact
that the levels are noted here in the first place. So don't go mailing me
to comment me on my levels, because I'm not interested!

Third I need to note the Guardians. Very soon in the game your party members
will learn to summon Guardians. At some sections I might note which Rune
I value most for that character in the fight. If no rune is noted than I
didn't care about it. If you see a rune that you didn't find, then check
the Guardian section to find out how to find that rune.

What I also need to mention. Dungeons are divided in rooms. When I say
"Exit" I mean you leave the room. Every time you enter a new room I start
a line with a "-".
Some rooms may require a combo of actions. In that case I start each action
with a "="
When I mark a new room with a "*" then it's part of a bonus and not required
to finish the game. When I mark it with "#" then it's a room that you'll
skip when you cast the "Escape" spell.

Oh yeah, maybe needless to note, but when I say "North" I mean to top of the
screen. :)

Some missions are marked with an "R" and a number "(R1)" for example.
Then you are in a session in which some dungeons can be taken in random order.
I will note them in the order I took them on, but some references will be made
since I do keep in mind that you might have taken on these dungeons in a
difrent order.

| Wild Arms and the PlayStation 2 | IDXA002 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
As we all know PlayStation 2 can run PlayStation games. This happens by some
kind of internal emulator that emulates a PlayStation 1 on a PS2.
98% of the PSX games work without any sort of trouble on a PS2. There
are a few games for which problems are known.

Alas, Wild Arms is such a game, and that is really a pity, since it's one
of the best PS1 RPG games ever made.

The game DOES work on a PS2, and some people around me told me they could
play the game without any trouble. I however could not (therefore I used
my old PSX to play the game whe I wrote this version of this FAQ).

The problems I got most was unable to get further than the title screen
(black screen as soon as I pressed "START" in there). I also had often that
the game crashed without any particular reason.

These problems did occur in the PAL/Europe version. Nothing is known to me
about the US or the Japanse version.

| Characters and their abilities | IDXB001 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
You only have 3 characters in this game. Rudy, Jack and Cecilia. There are
no guest players or no need to change characters (like in Breath Of Fire or
Final Fantasy). In this sections I tell you all about characters. Their goods
their bads and their abilities and force abilities.

Some abilities are marked with a "*". Those are abilities you obtain in
disappearing dungeons. If you missed them, bad luck, because you cannot go
back for those abilities again.

*** Rudy Roughnight
Good: He has good defenses and his ARMS can be killers.

special ARMS shops. In stead of MP Rudy uses bullet to fire
his ARMS. You cannot get those bullets back by resting, but
in nearly every town is a guy near or in the inn who refills
your ARM for only 10 gil per bullet.

                     Get: In chest in Malduke
   Ability: Fast Draw
Jack's Fastdraw is based on all kinds of things that will
happen during your quest. For example, some falling rocks
will give him the idea for a move called "Meteor Dive".
However these events will only give you a "Fast Draw Hint",
not the move itself. It'll be noted as "?????" in your
ability list. Try those "?????" moves. If it fails Jack will
do a normal attack, if it's succesful he'll perform the move
making that you "Mastered" the move and then the move will
be in your ability list. In the beginning moves are easy to
master. The further you get in the game, the more of a hell
it becomes. If you find a secret sign you can use it to make
one Fast Draw move cheaper in MP usage. I recommend to go
for Heal Blade and Magnum Fang when it comes to secret signs.
Psycho Crack Game Start (mastered by default)
Sonic Buster Wind in Mountain Pass

Heal Blade Secret area in Sand River

Get: Game Start. You'll lose it after your first fight
with Belselk but will get it back during the
                          Photosphere mission
                 2 - Pocket Watch
Use: Set a room back in its original state (handy when
                          you messed up some puzzles)
Get: From Anje in Cecilia's Prologue
                 3 - Magic Wand
Use: Understand the language of animals
Get: From Bartholomew after the fake wedding
                 4 - Vase

Get: In a chest in the Dragon Shrine
    Abilities: Crest Sorcery.
Cecilia can learn magic by finding Crest Graphs. She can take
them to a magic guild to learn any spell you want. There
are two kinds of spells. White (assist & healing) and black
(offensive). In both spell-types you have also two levels
Simple and Advanced. Simple magic can be learned at magic
guilds that are almsot in all cities. Advanced magic can only
be learned in Isolated Guilds which are all located on secret
hard-to-spot places on the world map (in some of them you
might find a pupil who'll go to Adlehyde. Then you can learn
Advanced magic in Adlehyde too). The Isolated Guilds become
available once you defeated Lady Harken in the Dragon Shrine.
The nice part about it. You can get rid of Cecilia's spells
if they didn't live up to your expectations. You can do that
in any guild. If you do the spell will be removed from her
ability list and you'll get your Crest Graph back.
I won't come up with a list of abilities, since they are
all in the manual. I can however give a list of all

Mystic is Cecilia's Level 1 Force and one that does deserve a special place
in this FAQ as it has a lot of possibilities. Personally I only use it to
use normal items on the entire party. Like using it to make a heal berry
heal the entire party in stead of one person. But Mystic can do so much more.
Nearly all weapons and armor Cecilia can equip have special powers Cecilia
can unlock by using them with Mystic. Mostly a spell can be cast (without
using MP) by using such an item with Mystic. Unlike consumable items which
will be gone after using them normally or with Mystic these items will remain
in your inventory, so as long as your force power allows it, there's no limit
in doing this.

(This list is in alphabetic order, not in the order in which you obtain the
items).

This section is really important, as right usage of Guardians can often
decide the outcome of the battle or make things much easier.

How does it work? First of all you need the Force Ability "Summon Guardian"
which you will obtain when you finish the Guardian Shrine. All party members
will get this ability, tough I personally never summon anything with Rudy
though. The guardian that's summoned is pending on which Rune you got
equipped. You can change equipment during battle, so double check your
equipment before summoning a guardian.

Here's a list of the guardians.
! = Noteworthy. You should go for this one

Wehn you start with the game you get the prologue. There are three prologues.
Each for one character. You may take on these prologues in random order, but
for the good of this FAQ, I'll take them in the order Rudy, Jack, Cecilia.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Surf / Berry Cave (Rudy's Prologue) (R1) | IDXC001 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Rudy 1
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Monsters: Balloon, Tatzelbelm, Goblin
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
First of all go to the Mayor, he lives in the house north of the well. You
can find him upstairs. Talk to him and he'll give you your first tool the
bombs. After this talk go downstairs and a man will come in reporting trouble.
He'll mention a kid who has gone into the Berry Cave. So your mission is clear
Leave Surf and go for the Berry Cave (South-East of town).
+---- MY TECHNIQUE ---------------------------------------------------------+
The game doesn't intend you to, but I often go to Adlehyde (south-east)
to buy some equipment for Rudy. Makes the first mission already a bit
easier.

Berry Cave
- Exit North
- You can bomb the big crate for a heal berry (very important in this stage
of the game). Follow the road north, and keep following the road and at
the end you gotta exit south
- Pull the lever and the statue blocking the road will move away.
Go south and follow the road until the way is blocked by a sign.
It says not to remove the sign. Yeah right. Bomb it.
  Follow the way north.
If you see a lever, ignore it. Destroy the crate first and then pull
  the lever.
The statue will move. Go North and exit north
- From here you gotta follow the road. If you run here (keeping the
X button pressed), you may wake some bats. If a bat starts circling
around your head you're under the Bad Omen status making that you'll
meet more enemies. If you do not want that, don't run. Keep following
the road. (there's a secret passage at the north wall leading to treasure)
At the end of the road you'll find two levers. Pull the left one first
  then the right one.
  Go south and exit south.
- You'll find a star sign on the floor. It's a savespot. Use it to save
then continue the road to the west and at the end of the road you'll
find Tony. Bomb the wall behind him and exit north
- Make sure you got full HP and go north.
Take the Holy Berries from the statue. Now you'll automaticly go back
to the exit of the dungeon. After some talk here you'll have to beat a
  boss.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
The attacks of this boss are a bit stronger than from regular enemies,
especially "Rotten Breath". (around 25). It also counterattacks easily.
Watching your HP is important here. This fight is a good fight to test
Rudy's ARMs on. If you have one Force Level use the force "ARMS Lock On"
with your Hand Cannon. If you have no force levels then attack. Keep
doing it this way, and you'll soon win.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Rudy has to stand trial after this fight. Agree to mayor Pifers request to
allow judgement. After that you'll be back in Surf. You'll be requested to
leave Surf and to never come back. Leave the village and Rudy's prologue has
been completed.
If you did the other prologues then continue at "Adlehyde - Make Friends".
If not then do the other prologues.

At first you'll be asked to enter you name (as password), just give Jake the
name you want and don't even try to guess the password. Even if you'd
accidently enter the right password, the game will make you fall into the
punishment dungeon. After a scene that follows you get to control Jack.
By default he has Hanpan as a tool. Good to know I suppose.

- = Go south
  = Go west
= Around the corner to the north
= The two chests are empty, just keep going north
= You can use Hanpan to open the chest across the gap.
  = Go east
  = Around the corner south
= Go east (and keep going east till the end)
  = Go north
= Step on the red switch
  = Go south
  = Go west
= Take the first way north
  = Exit north

- = Push the middle block so you can continue
= Go south, watch out for the spikes beside the torches. They'll hurt you
    if you don't move fast.
= At the end use Hanpan to open the chest
= Take the left exit south

- Use Hanpan to acces the switch and exit through the gate that opens.

- Stand south and run (hold X button) all the way east
  Take the first exit north

- Go all the way north
Push the middle block until it falls in the gap
Use Hanpan to access the switch.
Go back south and exit south

- Stand close the the treasure chest and run to the west
  Take the second exit north

- Save the game and exit south

- = Go north by passing either on the west or the east side, doesn't really
    matter.
  = Run to the north.
= Now don't run, but be fast and activate both switches (Hanpan won't
help here, you gotta do it yourself).
= Now a switch in the center appears. Step on it.
  = Exit north

- Every crossing here contains spikes so move fast over them. Don't run.
= Go all the way north
  = Around the corner west
  = Around the corner south
  = First way west
  = Go south
  = Open both treasure chests
= Go all the way north
  = Exit north

- Step on one switch and send Hanpan to the other
A teleporter will appear. Step on it.

- Examine the terminal on the north.
You'll hear a strange message about Lolithia.
After the message a teleporter will appear at the south
Step into it and you're back at the entrance

- Exit south to end Jack's prologue. (Indeed there's no boss here).

If you did the other prologues then continue at "Adlehyde - Make Friends".
If not then do the other prologues.

After a vague talk with a mysterious creature you'll be in a classroom in
Curan Abbey
- = Leave the classroom
= Go east into the corridor
= Follow the corridor and enter the messed up library on the north
= Talk to the student here. She'll mention the Pocket Watch.
  = Leave the library
= Go to the classroom to the east of the library
= Talk to the teacher and she'll give you a Crest Graph
  = Leave the class room
  = Exit south
- Exit south
- = Go south
  = Around the corner west
= Take the doorway left to the two staircases.
= Talk to the magician and you can create a spell.
= Create the spell "Shield" (White magic - Geo + Geo)
  = Leave the room
= Take the staircase on the right
- Talk to the woman here. (This is Anje).
She'll want you to use the Teardrop on the stone on the table.
Do so, and the stone will turn red in response.
Now you'll get the pocket watch.
Exit the room with the northern staircase
- Go east around the corner north, exit north

- = Talk to the student in the doorway to the library.
Cecilia will automaticly use the Pocket Watch.
All books will be back in their respective shelves, only one book remains

That means you push it to the right spot (The game will do that often
    in pushing puzzles).

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After the battle you'll be teleported back to Curan Abbey. You can leave Curan
Abbey now. The Exit is all the way south. When you leave Curan Abbey you've
completed Cecilia's Prologue.
If you did the other prologues then continue at "Adlehyde - Make Friends".
If not then do the other prologues.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Adlehyde - Make Friends | IDXC005 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Rudy 3 | Jack 2 | Cecilia 3 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
You can choose which character you want to continue with. It doesn't really
matter who you pick, but I recommend not to pick Cecilia, since she's too
weak to face the monsters on the world map alone. For this walkthrough I take
it that you did not move around the characters after their respective
prologue.

- Go to Adlehyde

- Go to Emma's house (right north of the Inn)
and go upstairs. Talk to Emma. Her workers will bring a shocking report
Emma will hire you to take care of the monsters in Lolithia's Tomb.
Accept her proposal. You'll get your payment later.
  Now leave Adlehyde.

- Emma already stated that the mission is too dangerous to take on alone.
So now you gotta make two friends. Exactly the other party members.
If you didn't move them around they should be on their spot of the world
map where they ended their prologue.
Rudy should be at Surf (North of Adlehyde)
Jack should be at the Temple of Memory (North-West Of Adlehyde)
Cecilia should be at Curan Abbey (South-West of Adlehyde)
Seek them out (of course you don't need to seek out the character you chose)
Once you got a party of three go to Lolithia's Tomb stright line north of
  Adlehyde.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Lolithia's Tomb | IDXC006 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Rudy 3 | Jack 3 | Cecilia 3 (Water) |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Monsters: Aipeloss, Rat Monkey, Pilbug, Empusa, Tatzelbelm
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
For those still in question about that "Water" behind Cecilia's name. That
means I got her equipped with the "Water Rune" and that I advice you to do
the same. If no Rune name is imprinted behind a party member's name then I
don't care which Rune that character has. Ok?

- Climb the ladder
Follow the road and exit north at the end

- Talk to Emma. If you got all 3 party members she'll aprove that you go into
  the dungeon.
Blow up the wall behind her and exit north

- The chest contains a shield for Rudy
Drop off east, and to to the guys to make them clear the path
Blow up the rocks and exit north

- Blow up the rocks and exit north

- Take the exit North-East

- Blow up the rock and a switch will be revealed
  Now go west.
NOTE The green chests will explode and hurt you when you open it.
Use Hanpan to open those in stead.
  Exit north

- Go west, around the corner north
  Blow up the rock
  Go north and drop off

= Go east and climb the ladder on the north
= Go east till you are at the exit
  = Exit north

- Go up the ladder
  Save if you want
  Exit north

- Go east, and exit north

- To reach the chests only push the blocks either east or west. That'll
do. The Teardrop door only leads to a hint. Not worth mentioning.
The exit most east leads to a switch that unlocks the treasure in the
previous room. (300 Gella) The middle exit is the way to continue the
  dungeon.

- Go down the ladder
  Go east
  Exit north

- Exit north

- Go to the backside of the statue and examine the statue from there.
  Push the button.
Three blocks will appear. You see a square made around the statue.
You get the message doncha. Push the blocks in each corner.
A bridge will form. Cross it
Use the Teardrop to open the door
Try to exit north and you'll meet a boss.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Monsters: Skeleton, Lizard Man
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
First of all. If there are any spells for Cecilia you need, get those first.
Cecilia will leave the party temporary and when she gets back you won't be
able to create new spells for awhile.

- = Go to the inn and rest.
    Cecilia will leave the party.
= Go to the east of town and exit this area there
- Go east and go north into the festival
You can play serveral games here if you like. You can win Prizes with that.
Most games however are more trouble than they are worth.
At the most north is Emma. Get your reward from her (this is the only
  chance you get for that).
At the north east of town is a woman who lost her son. She'll say that
  he has a red balloon.
Leave this area and go back into town
- In the center of town is the boy with the Red Baloon.
On the moment you talk to him all hell breaks loose.
Adlehyde will be invaded by monsters.

Now you gotta save the people of Adlehyde. Each rescue is optional and not
required to win the game, but it does have some effects in the future of the
game. For example if you don't rescue the innkeeper then you'll no longer be
able to rest in Adlehyde anymore, and since Adlehyde is the center of the game
where you'll get back to a lot, you can understand that's a pretty bad thing.
It's better to leave Cecilia (who is captured by monsters at the north of
town) alone for the time being. For you see. As soon as you rescue her a timer
of 5 minutes will start. If you don't make it back into the castle within
that timer the game is over. The monsters walk over the town in stead of
random encounters. Not that they are hard, but avoiding them saves a lot of
time.

Good here's a list of the people you can rescue
= A nun in the temple in the south-east of town
= The innkeeper at the top floor of the inn
= A man in the pub south-east of town
= A man who lost his wife in a small house south of the mayor's house
= A woman at the graveyuard
= A man in the hospital
= A man in a small hut just next to the entrance of the castle
= A little boy between the trees at the north-east of town
= A woman at the lower part behind the trees-part north of the big house
  in the east
= A man at the statue of the guardian Zeldukes. West of town.

When you got them all go north to save Cecilia from the monsters.
If you got everybody enter the castle, if not try to save them. If you're
running out of time, forget saving people and head back to the castle.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Exit north
- Exit north
- Exit north
- Go to the guard North-West and speak to him. He'll move aside.
  Go north and exit north
- Exit upstairs
- Go south, then west and go through the guarded doorway to get into the
  King's Bedroom.
- Talk to the guard, and he'll move aside.
Let Cecilia talk to the King

Now you'll be sent to Cecilia's bedroom. You gotta get out of there, but
the guards may not catch you. If they do, you'll be sent back to your room.
There are 3 sorts of guards. Standing guards who do not move. They are no
treat to this quest. Slow guards. Move at normal speed. And fast guards.
They walk very fast and when they see you they'll go straight to you, those
ones are the most dangerous. Whatever you do, never run. That makes the chance
you get caught even bigger. (Fortunately there's only one fast guard that
may cause really serious trouble, but there are serveral ones in the castle).
And one last not. Leave treasures alone. Going for that increases the chance
you get caught.

Let's go!

- Exit south
- Go east
Go south and take the first road east
  Take the second exit south
- Now watch out. Here's a fast guard and he'll cause you a lot of trouble.
Be prepared to be caught a lot here.
  = Go east
= Go south at the end of the road
  = Around the corner east
  = Around the corner north
= First road west (DON'T GO NORTH. A fast one is there)
  = Around the corner north
  = Exit north
- Exit north (downstairs)
- Take the northway (not the stairs) and exit north
- Here is a fast guard, so watch out.
  Go west immediatly.
At the end of the corridor exit south
- You'll be in the kitchen. That's the place to be.
Talk to the cook most west of the room.
He'll open a secret door for you into the sewers.
Allow him to do that, and you'll be sent there.

Monsters: Balloon, Gomorrah Toad, Jelly Blob
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Tres bien, this dungeon starts with a savespot, and that's just what you need
after outrunning the guards. Save your game and let's get on with it.
(If I say to remove a crate then either blow it up, or pick it up and throw
it away. You don't need any of them for switches in this place).
- = Remove the three crates to the south and throw them all away.
= Go around the corner to the east
  = Around the corner south
  = Go east
= You can use Hanpan to get the treasure at the end
  = Go south
  = Around the corner west
  = Remove the crate
  = Follow the north way
  = Around the corner west
  = Around teh corner south
= Ignore the crate just go south
= At the thorch is a way west, ignore it. Just keep going south
= Remove the crates to create a path
= At the T-cross after the crates keep going south
= Take the next way east
  = Around the corner south
  = First road east
= Remove the crates and keep going east
  = Around the corner south
= Around the corner east and remove the crates
  = Around the corner south
  = First way west
  = Around the corner south
= Keep going south and exit south
- Save the game if you want and exit using the staircase
- You'll be back in Adlehyde.
Push the top block all the way west
Now push one of the other blocks south so you can get out.
Leave the hut and go to the center of the city where Belselk is waiting
for you. Talk to him. Cecilia will lose her Teardrop. After that you gotta
  fight Belselk.

Difficulty: Medium/Easy. Luck is a factor here.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Belselk mostly uses "Spinning Flail". Not a very strong move, but it
damages all party members, which can be quite nasty. If you are unlucky
he'll use "Disrupting Flail" which is quite a killer, but then again
it only damages one party member. Mystic with Heal Berries is you best
friend in this battle. When you are in luck he'll use "Come And Get Me".
That's only a taunting move and won't do anything at all. A problem is
that (even after casting Quick) you can never be sure to be the first
in line of attacks. You should alway keep that in mind when you want to
heal. As for the attacks. Jack should go crazy with Psycho Crack and Rudy
should do ARM-Lock On + Hand Cannon.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this battle Belselk will stop the monster invasion and the Golems will
be stolen (I warn ya, that will cause you trouble later). Now the citizens
of Adlehyde can take up the damage and what you got to do is now clear.
This end the prologue of the game, and now the true story begins.

Many people around this city may tell you that the Pub Owner's dad was a
guardian priest. You must have spoken to one of those people who are all over
the city. After that go to the Pub and ask the pub owner about the Guardians.
He'll give you a hint:

"Light the fire at 2, then again at 10,
when you light the fire at 6, the doors will open at 12
Go through the temple with the light".

You'll find out later what that means. He'll also give you a Holy Medal.
Now leave Milama. On a small island to the north west (accessible by a bridge)

- Go north then either west or east and exit upstairs (north)
- Go to the center of the room.
Here you see torches in a circle. I name them by the numbers of the clock
and light these ones on this order: 2-10-6-12 (YOu got the Pub Owner's hint
  now?)
As a respond the other ones will light automaticly.
Exit downstairs (either west or east one doesn't matter)
- Go to the door in the center and use the holy medal on it.
The door will open and you'll see some stairs down. Take them.
- Exit south
- Get the three Mystic Apples.
  Exit north
- Go west
Open the chest for a magic carrot
  Exit north
- Go all the way west and exit north
- Take the Crest Graph and exit south
- All the way east and exit north
- Go all the way east and exit south
- Go all the way east and exit north
- Take the Crest Graph and exit south
- Go all the way west and exit north
- Go west and exit north
- Save your game and exit north
- Exit north
- I number the torches this way
   1 4
   2 7 5
   3 6
  Light them in this order:
  4 - 5 - 1 - 3 - 2 - 6 - 7
The door will open. If you mess up you can use the Pocket watch to
start over. If you're succesful then exit north

You're party members will be seperated from each other. You can still switch
from one party member to another. When I call his/her name, you switch to that
character and play on from there.

Rudy:
- = Go north
= Blow up the stones to make your way north
  = Exit north
- You'll have some rows with three stones in it. Row 1 is the most south one
  and so I count up.
Row 1: Blow up the east stone and go north
Row 2: Blow up the east stone and go west
Blow up the center stone and go north
Row 3: Blow up the center stone and go north
Row 4: Blow up the center stone and go east
Blow up the east stone and go north
Row 5: Blow up the east stone and go north
Row 6: Blow up the east stone and go west
Blow up the center stone and go west
Blow up the west stone and go north
Row 7: Blow up the west stone and go north
Row 8: Blow up the west stone and go east
Blow up the center stone and exit north
- You'll get a short view of something on Rudy's mind. After that this part
  is finished.

Jack:
- = Go north
  = Step on the switch
  = Continue going north
= Use Hanpan to reach the east switch
  = Go north
= Use Hanpan to reach the west switch
  = Go North
= Use Hanpan to reach the north-east switch
  = Go north
= Use Hanpan to reach the north-west switch
  = Go North
  = Exit north
- = Go west
  = Around the corner north
= Use Hanpan to reach the North-West switch
  = Go east
= Use Hanpan to reach the north-east switch
  = Go north
  = First way west
  = Around the corner north
= Use Hanpan to reach the west switch
  = Keep going north
= Use Hanpan to reach the east switch
= Go south till you cannot go further.
  = Around the corner east
= Go east till you cannot go further
= Go all the way north (You may use Hanpan for the switch if it makes you
    feel good).
  = Around the corner west
  = Go north
  = Exit north
- You see a sword. Pick it up and a sequence about Jack will pop up.
After that this section is complete.

Cecilia:
- = Go north
= Push the left obstacle to the north
= Push the other left obstacle to the north
= Push the right obstacle to the north
  = Exit north
- = Push the right obstacle north till you cannot push it furhter
= Push the left obstacle west so you clear the path north
  = Exit north
- Go north until a sequence starts that shows Cecilia's mind.
After that this section is complete

If you completed all three sections you'll meet the guardians Moa Gault,
Gurdijeff and Fengalon. You'll get their Runes (Fire, Wind and Earth) and
you'll get the power to summon guardians. All three party members will get
this ability as the level 2 force (you can use it when you are force level 2
and have a Rune equipped. The guardian tied to the Rune will be summoned).
Using these summons can really influence the outcome of battles, and sometimes
save you a lot of MP and bullets, so be sure to summon at the right time
with the right rune equipped.

After the talk you'll be teleported to a small continent that contains a
village called "Baskar". Go there.

| Rudy 11 | Jack 10 (Fire) | Cecilia 9 (Water) |

The house in the center (with the memory bird) is the Chiefs house. Enter it
and talk to the chief. He'll tell you about the guardian statues that contain
pieces of the heart of Mother. The statues act as seals. One of those statues
is in Mt. Zenom. You gotta go there to protect the seal.

Leave Baskar an go to Mt. Zenom, all the way to the North-East

One note! This is a long dungeon which also contains a boss. So don't push it!

- Talk to the guard and he'll let you in. (If he doesn't go to Baskar and talk
  to the chief)
  Exit north

- Push the sout-east statue north until it starts to glow
  Exit north

- Go east, around the corner south, and exit south

- Go west follow the path, exit north at the end of it.
(Open the chest near the exit. It contains a Blue Circlet. Equip it
  on Cecilia).

- = Go north, around the corner west

= Burn the plants blocking your path with your lighter
  = Continue going north
  = Exit north

- = Go south
  = Burn the plants
  = Keep going south
  = Exit south

- = Go east
= Take the first path north
= Take the secret sign out of the chest.
You can use these to make one Fast Draw Move of Jack's cost less MP.
Save these up. I recommand to use these on the moves Heal Blade and
Magnum Fang, which you'll both aquire later in the game.
= Go back to main path
  = Go east
  = Exit north

- = Go north
  = Around the corner east

  = Around the corner south
  = Exit south

- = Go south
= Use Hanpan to open all explosive chests (all heal berries)
= Go north again and you'll escape some falling rocks.
This gives Jack an idea for a new move and with that you get the
Fast Draw Hint for "Meteor Dive".
  = Okay, go north
  = Go west
= In the end exit north (chest contain Potion Berry. Better than heal
berry, but save them, cause you cannot buy them in store yet).

- = Go all the way north (burning the grass)
= Go around the corner west
= Burn the grass at the most west point to reveal a switch
  = Step on the switch
= Go all the way north
  = Exit north

- Go south, burn the grass and exit south

- Wanna take on a bonus?

- Follow the way to the north and exit north

- Save the game and exit south

- Follow the east way and exit north at the end

- Push all grey statue in the line with the glowing ones
  Exit north

- Examine the statue.
(Here I discovered a bug in the game. You gotta examine the statue from
the front side. If you do it from beside the character will get stuck
and then you gotta reset your PlayStation).

The attacks on Orga Widow are strong, but you can deal with that easily.
What you need to watch out for is that this is a venomous spider and that
it can paralyze all party members with "Capture Web". That's why I
recommend to have the Blue Circlet equipped on Cecilia so that at least
your healer can't be the victim of it.
Orga Widow is weak to water. Summoning Stoldark with Cecilia will

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After the battle you'll obtain the "Summit Rune", the rune of the Guardian
  Denogenos.
If you want you can cast the "Escape" spell to get out immediatly. If you
don't want that then exit south

# Go all the way south, exit south

# Follow the west way and exit north at the end

# Save the game and exit north

# Go south, exit south

# Go east and drop off south
Take the Crest Graph from the chest on the west and drop off south again.
Go east and take the second exit north

# Follow the corridor and exit north at the end

# Go west and exit north at the end

# Go north, exit north

# Follow the corridor and exit south at the end

- The guard will say something to you, after that exit south.

You'll be on the world map. Go back to Baskar to report.

Go to the chief and tell him what happened. He'll tell you about the Elw
Pyramids. He'll give you an item called "Kizim Fire".
Leave Baskar and head for the Elw Pyramid in the North-East.

In the Elw Pyramid go downstairs (passage behind the left waterfall)
Use the Kizim Fire in the fireplace and go back. Now you can use this pyramid
to warp to the Region of Saint Centour.

At your arrival, leave the Elw Pyramid.

On the worldmap go all the way south, to find the city of Saint Centour

| Rudy 13 | Jack 13 (Fire) | Cecilia 13 (Water) |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
As you try to enter the village you'll activate a barrier that'll block you
out. After some guesses what caused it you can enter the city.

Well, as you explore this town, you'll see many treasure chests, but you
cannot open any of them. All of them are blocked by somebody. Don't even
try to open a treasure chest, because you'll never succeed. When you return
in this city in a later stage of the game you'll be able to reach those
treasure chests.

There's also a guardian statue here. But you cannot do anything with that
either at the moment.

Go the the sherrif's house which is directly to the west of the entrance.
Talk to him. He'll want you to check out the Cage Tower. Accept his request
and he'll give you the Key Plate. Now leave the city of Saint Centour.

Go for the Cage Tower which is all the way north-east of Saint Centour.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Open the door with the key plate and enter the tower
- Take the stairs on the left side
- Step on the switch and exit north
- Now take the stairs on the right side
- Go south and follow the way at the end of the way is a Crest Graph
the stairway in the west part is the exit to take
- Step on the switch at the end of this way and go back
- Go south, and follow the road to the very end and take the stairway
  there.
- Follow the road and exit north at the end
- Exit upstairs
- The platforms will drop after you step on them. You have exactly one
half of a second to get off them. You don't have to run (in most rooms
even recommended not to do so). Make your way over these platforms
  and exit upstairs
- Another field of platforms. The grey chest can only be opened by Rudy.
It contains the Prism Ray ARM. Make your way over and exit upstairs
- Take the routes A, B and C as I drew them out and step on the switches
  you come past.

             A C
             A C

So once again, first route A, then step on the switch, then route B
Step on the other switch, then route C then exit upstairs
- Follow the road and exit upstairs
- Follow the road and exit upstairs
- Follow the road and exit upstairs (you can save in this room)
- If you read the sign it says "The Sun Rises from the east and sets in the
west, the sun rises from the east again to light the path for the insecure)
Good. Three staircases below. First the right one then the left one and
then the right one. Now at the north of the room is the exit upstairs
- Take the three Goat Dolls from the chests and exit upstairs
- Exit upstairs
- Exit upstairs
- Exit upstairs (bored already?)
- Exit south
- Climb all the ladders and stand between the three posts.
You'll be trapped and you'll have to fight a boss.

If you have the spell "Flash" then you'd do well to cast it. It dodges
attacks easily, and when you cast Flash it'll no longer be able to do
that. Its attacks are not really impressive. You gotta watch out for
Wings Of Death, which hurts you all and can cause instant death. Having
a Goat Doll equipped can prevent trouble. A way to damage it a lot is by
letting Cecilia summon Denogenos (Summit Rune).
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this fight you're still trapped. But a young girl and her butler
(Jane and McDullen) come to the rescue. She'll destroy the trap so you
can get out but only if you give her 2000 Gella. I know you hate this
but you gotta accept her proposal or else you'll be trapped forever.
(If you say "no" the game will repeat itself until you accept).
After you're released go down all the ladders and go back into the tower
(If you want to cast "Escape" you can safely do so).

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Upon your arrival the background music tells you already that something is
wrong. Terribly wrong. And wrong it is. The city is entirely deserted. All
citizens are gone. And it gets even better. The city is now inhabited by
monsters you'll meet in random encounters (only when you are not inside a
buidling, btw). Only one citizen is left here, and that's the blind girl,
but she won't be of any help.

This has two advantages.
First, the inn is now free
Second, now you can reach all treasure chests that were out of reach before.

There are two things that you must do.
First examine the now destroyed statue of Ione Paua in order to get the
Saint Rune.
Second you must go to the small building in the north east of town. Enter it
Solve the puzzle to obtain the duplicator.
= Push the block all the way north
= Push it all the way west
= Push the other block a tiny bit south. Enough to pass it
                on north and south side.

When you got the Saint Rune and the Duplicator you got all you need now
Leave Saint Centour. Go to the north east. Just south of the Cage Tower
is another Elw Pyramid. Use it to warp towards Port Timney.
From the Elw Pyramid you only got to follow the shores on the west to reach
Timney.

First of all. Behind the pub is a crate you can blow up. You created a path
now (though you can't see it). Go in there and take another duplicator out
of the chest.

Second in the north of town, are two crates. Blow them up and you'll see
that a guy was trapped in there. Talk to him to get the fast draw hint for
Trickster.

And last but not least go to the Pub. Here is a guy named Bartholomew.
Speak to him, and it seems he wants a crystal called the "Crystal Bud"
which is in the maze of death. Your characters will decide to retreive it
from the Maze of Death.

If you did these three things, go into the desert on the west and most west
is the desert of death. It's not marked with a building , the camera will
zoom in when you get close, and the letters "Maze Of Death" will appear when
you found it.

This is a one-time dungeon. Which means that when you finished this dungeon
you can never get back. Keep in mind that that also means that all bonusses
that are in this dungeon are lost once you completed it.

The guardian in this dungeon is optional. The places marked with "*" in

Go to the pub and talk to Bartholomew. Sell him the Crystal Bud, and something
stupid will happen, which makes Cecilia the fake bride of Bartholomew.
(Oh, brother).
If you want you can ask around the ship for some clues. The wedding is a
Trivia game, and the crew members can tell you things that may be in the
questions. When you're done asking around talk to the guy next to the
Memory Bird to rest. After the rest the Wedding will start.

As I said, the wedding is a Trivia game, so here are the answers
= The Bride moves forward
= Olivia Clare
= Bartholomew
= Sweet Candy
= Old Moon
= Right Hand
= Crystal Bud
= 8th
= Lucadia
= Go for it

No matter if you answered them correctly the wedding will be interupted
by a gatecrasher. A silly demon named Zed.

| Rudy 16 | Jack 16 (Fire) | Cecilia 16 (Saint) |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Zed is fast, and that's your biggest problem. Speeding up Cecilia will do
great deal, however it guarantees nothing. Mostly Zed will use a move
named "Doom Bringer". That move is strong, but can easily be dealt with
however, sometimes Zed prefers to use "Garyu Ichimongiri", that move is
pretty strong and can damage you say 50% of your Max HP. Wouldn't be a
serious if he wasn't so fast. The good thing is that this is the only
fight in this section, so you can spend you bullets and MP very freely.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this fight, a big panic will break out. Go the the back of the ship
where you'll be too late to save the statue, but you'll get the Guardian
Nua Shacks (Thunder Rune).

After this you'll be inside the ship again. Seek out the captain. He'll give
you serveral rewards pending on how many questions you answered correctly
during the ceremony. Lastly he'll give you a magic wand, which is a tool for
Cecilia. It will allow her to understand animal language. This is handy as the
animals often know things that humans do not. It's a good way to get extra
clues. If you say "Yes" when he asks if you are ready, he'll drop you at the
docks of Port Timney. Go to the world map, and go to the last Elw Pyramid
which is located south.

Now you'll have something strange perhaps. The Elw Pyramid is locked on
both sides. You need two duplicators to open the doors that seal this
teleporter. To settle things out. One of them can be found in Saint Centour
(after you beat the Night Gaunt), and the other is hidden in Timney.

You'll be back in the Milama Region. You can go to Milama for a tiny
sidequest. The next mission is the Sand River which is located east of Milama.

So think illogical to get through this place.
- Go north and step in the teleporter
- Take the eastern exit north
- Take the western exit south
- Step in the teleporter
- Look well at the windows on the north. One of them is not a window
but a doorway. Go east to find that one. It has no small wall under it
like the windows. Go through that doorway.
- Save the game and exit north
- = Go north
  = Around the corner west
  = Keep going west
  = Around the corner south

- You may think that you went the wrong way, since there's nothing but a
chest with a heal berry in it here, but getting in this room triggered a
secret that can make you continue. If you haven't been here you cannot
  finish the Pleasing Garden.
  Exit north
- Go west at the crossing and there's a switch. If you haven't been at the
south room, this switch won't be there (sneaky, huh?).
Step on the switch, go back to the crossing and go north, exit north

- Step in the teleporter
- The doorway leads to a duplicator the teleporter is the exit to take

In stead of ARMS and Fast Draw I prefer to cast Light Blow over as well
Jack as Rudy. This will make their regular attacks holy and, as you may
expect from an undead captain, he's weak for that kind of attack. Jack
in particular can deal a lot of damage that way, especially with his new

Use the ladder at the south to leave the ship.

You'll will have an agreement with Bartholomew. He'll let you use the ship.
If you go to the worldmap you can access the ship.

Now there are two ways to go. You need to take them both, but the order
is up to you. One way is to go to Rosetta (to which the Volcannon Trap
mission is also tied), or to the Tripillar. In which order you do this is
totally up to you.

P.S. Those blue chests you couldn't access in the ghost ship. Their part of

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
At the very east of this town is a house that looks in a pretty bad shape.
That's the house of the Elw girl all villagers talk about. Beside it is a
small field with a lonely flower. Examine that flower. The Elw Girl (whose
name is Mariel). After some talk she'll tell you about a special herb that
can cure the sick mayor. So leave the town of Rosetta and go to the
Forest Mound, south of Rosetta. Here you'll find the herb Mariel was talking
about. Take them and go back to Rosetta.
In Rosetta head straight for the mayor's house (the big house in the north
of town). He's upstairs lying in bed. Talk to him and Mariel will cure him.

After all this go to the exit of the city where Calamaity Jane is waiting
for you. Talk to her, and she'll say she has an interesting proposal. Hear
her out and accept her proposal. Now your next target is the Volcannon Trap.

This time Belselk is stronger than before, and he won't taunt you either
like he did before. This time it's serious. Speeding up Cecilia a few
times is a good idea as Belselk is pretty unpredictable in speed. Doing
the same to Jack is also a good idea, so you don't have to depend on
accelerator. With that covered you can deal with disrupting flail easily
which is the move he uses most. Sometimes he'll use Blaster Howling which
can paralyze you all. Beware for that move. Most horrible is the move
Belselk Breaker which deals 1000+ damage. Especially Cecilia can get
herself killed with that move easily. Having that covered I don't expect
any serious trouble, but caution is adviced as Belselk can get dangerous
if you underestimate him.

  Exit north
- Open the chest for the Red Malice. Now go back to the entrance.
  Exit south
- Exit south
- Save the game and exit south
- Exit south
- Go west and exit north

You'll be warped back to the entrance. Keep exiting south. You'll be back
in Rosetta. Leave Rosetta. If you did the Tripillar you should go to
Giant's Cradle. if not then you should go to the Tripillar first.

Upon examining the Tablet and the party will spit up. When I call the name
of a character you use that character to go further.

One note! It's extremely important that Jake takes the WEST WAY! If you
messed it up there's halfaway a method to swap the party members, but best
is if you do not use that.

If you need it, put the characters you wanna switch on a blue plate and make
the 3rd party member step on the switch to switch the party members road.

Jack
- Step in the west teleporter
- Go south around the corner west around the corner north to exit north
- Go south
  Around the corner east
If you take the stairs you'll get at a statue. Examine it, and take on
the challenge (three critter rounds, you can't lose it), and you'll
obtain the Fast Draw Hint for "Divide Shot" (this your only chance to
get it, you can't come back here later).
Go south again and go down the stairs.
Take the road north on the eastside of the stairs
  Exit north
- = Go south
= Get on the stairs and keep going south (path east of the stairs)
= At the end go west
= Go south down the stairs
  = Go west
= Go north up the stairs
  = Go west
  = Go north
= East and south down the stairs
  = East
  = At the end north
  = Exit north
- Go south, exit south
- You are now in the central room with the switch device.

Cecilia
- Step on the north teleporter
- Walk around the room and exit north
- Go south and use the stairs to get on that questionmark shaped thing.
On it go all the way south and get off it south
  Go east.
Ignore the stairs here, and take the eastern path north
  Exit north
- Go all the way south (ignore the "E")
  Once south go west
Go on the stairs north and follow the way north
  Exit north
- Go all the way south and exit south
- You are now in the central room with the switch device

Rudy
- Step in the east telepoter
- Go around this room and exit north
- Go around this room (south-east-north) and exit north
- Make your way south, once there go most west and go north, Exit north
- Two paths. Take the left one to go south. Exit south
- You are now int he central room with the switch device

Okay, all character are now in the switch room. Check once again if
Jack is in the left road, Cecilia in the middle one and Rudy in the right one.
If this is not the case you can use the switch device to set this right.

To operate the switch device once again:
Put the characters you wanna switch on a blue plate and make
the 3rd party member step on the switch to switch the party members road.

Everybody in the right road. Then let's continue

Jack
- Take the eastern exit north
- Get upstairs and hook west
The treasure chest here contains a secret sign
