Ver-0.75: Saturday, February 27, 1999
Okay, the walkthrough is practically finished, and some holes are filled
in, but there's still a lot missing.

Ver-0.51: Tuesday, February 16, 1999
It's Yong again, I haven't been doing much lately, but this is my version
of the walkthrough, it's pretty much a combination of Kain's, and some
additions that I found. Walkthrough Disc 2 is still in the works, and
Disc 1 is nearly done, look for future updates.

Ver-0.50: Sunday, January 24, 1999
Like I said big updates, all we need to do on the walkthrough now is finish
the final dungeon, and finish the first disc. Hope you like it :)

Ver-0.40: Friday, January 22, 1999
Long time no see, well here's the latest ver, with walkthrough through
up to Gate 1. (All we have to do with the walkthrough now is type it,
disc 2 also!!, well excepting the Final Dungeon expect an update soon
 with LOTS more)

Ver-0.30: Monday, December 14, 1998
More updates to the walkthrough, it now covers up to the Intruder
 on Shevat.

Ver-0.20: Friday, December 10, 1998
Wow, I can't believe I'm able to update again. Lots of additions to the
Walkthrough. Its now all the way up to the attack on the Thames. I also
added in some of the levels required to get some of the abilities (not
 much)

Ver-0.10b: Friday, December 10, 1998
Since I'm off for winter break now, I updated the FAQ. Basically misc.
spelling errors, but I also added the walkthrough up to the Thames, a
Table of Contents, and a few more FAQ's at the bottom.

Ver-0.10: Thursday, December 09, 1998
Okay, finals are coming, and all 3 of us are really busy. Since we said
that we would release this FAQ to mainstream sites this week, we will.
There are a LOT of missing holes, and we've gotten the walkthrough up to
Kislev. I also got the Game Shark codes, but am missing some codes. The
grading system for characters is in, but not completed yet.

Ver-0.01: Saturday, November 28, 1998
This is the initial release, the 3 of us has come together and combined
our 2 FAQ's together. I have yet to release one of mine, but SamULGib
has. Included: Characters, Walkthrough Disc 1 up to Stalactite Cave, a
lot of the appendix. Thie FAQ is very messy right now, I'll clean it up
later. There are also missing holes of info that I'll eventually get.

Enemies are set up like this
Name(Size, R for regular, G for Gear): XP/G, item received

Chapter I-Lahan Village
 Stuff to get:
  200G
  Aquasol (x5)
  Eyeball
  Aquasol S
  Power Ring
  RPS Badge
  120G
  Mermaid Tear
 Enemies:
 (World Map-Grassland)
  Lil' Kobold(R): 3/0, Fencing Cap
  Hobgob(R): 2/0, Hob-Jerky(Hob-Steak if burned)
  Hopper(R): 8/0, Fencing Wear
When you get control of Fei, examine the bed to get your hidden money,
200G. Rest in bed if you like, there isn't much point to do so. You can
examine the paintings to get a close-up view of them. Walk out of your
room. In the northern room, you can talk to the maid about your arrival
to Lahan. In the western room, check both barrels to get 2 Aquasols. If
you jump and examine the northeastern corner, you'll get a spider web,
used way later in the game. When you're ready, head upstairs.
You can talk to the people upstairs to learn a bit about what's going
on in Lahan, when you're done, head outside. You can talk to Dan
outside, he asks you to steal Alice away from Timothy, it really doesn't
matter what you choose, it doesn't seem to affect the game in any way.
Go around to the back of the house you came out of, and talk to the
old man in the field with the cow. Keep talking to him until he gives
  you 2 Aquasols.
In the middle of town, there is a well, jump down the well. When Fei
gets back out, you'll get an eyeball. Keep jumping down the well until
you get an Aquasol S, and a Power Ring. The woman standing by the cow
north of the well will give you an Aquasol if you tell her that it isn't
  weird.
When that's done, go to the southeast house, where you'll find a boy
who wants to play rock-paper-scissors. If you can manage to beat him 5
times in a row, you'll get an RPS Badge, not used till way later. Go on
downstairs and talk to the old lady. Tell her that you like Lahan, and
  she'll give you 120G.
Go on to the bar, the northeastern building. Talk to the people. the
guy in blue will ask you if you have a problem, tell him that drinking
won't solve anything. He'll give you a Mermaid Tear, also used much
  later on in the game.
There's not much else to do, explore the village a bit. The north-
western house is a general store, the southwestern house is a beginner's
hall. If you go there, you'll meet Lucca from Chrono Trigger, making a
cameo appearance. She'll offer to explain about the memory cube, don't
let her, or she'll take 28G from you. You can leave the village via
the southern entrance to go to the world map, not much to do there, cept
to fight a little, some enemies might give you some fencing wear.
When you're satisfied with your exploration, go to the eastern house
and talk to the lady standing outside. She'll let you in. Talk to
Alice's aunt if you want, but head upstairs when that's done. Alice
needs you to go to Citan's house in the mountains.

Chapter II-Mountain Path
 Stuff to get:
  Aquasol x3
  Bird Egg
  Spider
  Midori's Ring
 Enemies:
 (Mountain Path)
  Jackal(R): 3/0, -
  Hobgob(R): 2/0, Hob-jerky(Hob-steak if burned)
Leave Lahan via the northern exit to end up in the Mountain Path.
You'll start off in a passage, head north to the memory cube, save if
you want. Go eastward and follow the path going up. Keep with the
ascending path, turning east, you'll reach a ledge with a chest, nab it
  for an Aquasol.
Head back to the memory cube. In between the white sign and the cube,
there's a narrow passage going up to a lone tree. Climb it and jump
through the tree. You'll find a bird egg, however the mother of the egg
will follow you, poking you for 1 damage every so often if you don't
return it. If you want, go ahead and return it, it will only be used
as a background item to make you a bit fatter soon.
Follow the path to the west of the cube, until it winds up to a young
boy. Talk to him to learn about running+jumping. Use his technique to
jump the ledge west of him. Go north across the bridge. Drop down and
take the chest under the bridge for another Aquasol. Head back and
follow the path until you reach another white sign.
Jump through the tree west of the sign, and examine the spider that's
crawling up and down the tree. You'll get a spider. You won't use the
spider till much later in the game.
After viewing the imagery, climb the first spiral staircase you see.
Stop at the door, and turn the camera so you can see the southern door.
Open it, then examine the area where the chicken flew out of for an
  Aquasol.
The northern door leads to a bedroom. If you finish climbing and enter
the doorway on top, you'll be brought into some kind of a room with a
ladder. Climb it if you want to view the telescope.
Back on the ground floor, head to the east side of the house, and go
north a big. Jump behind the flowerbeds sitting next to the house, and
examine the flowerbeds from that side. You'll get Midori's ring, which
won't show up in your inventory, and also will not be used until much
later. Also, there is some bird seeds on a rock, you can eat it, just
for kicks if you examine it.
When all's ready, head inside the house, and talk to Yui. If you got
the bird egg, you'll give it to her. Yui'll also tell you that Citan is
in the backyard. Talk to Midori if you like, then head outside. Meet
Citan while you try to enter the back building.
Do as he suggests and enter the building and examine the object in
  front of you.
When all the dialog is finally over, it'll be night time, and Fei'll
be on his way. If you gave Yui that egg, Fei'll have gained 22 lbs. Go
back to the mountain path, and take your time going back to Lahan, there
aren't any random battles. On the way back, you'll see some gears fly
  by, towards Lahan.

Chapter III-Fallen Shadows
 No Items
 No Enemies
Continue on into Lahan, save if you'd like. To your amazement, Lahan
is burning down. Eventually, Fei will jump into a gear, and you'll face
  your first gear battle.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Story Battle
  Musha Mk100(G): 90/50, -
  Musha Mk100(G): 90/50, -
Real easy fight. It should only take you 1 X, and a T the next turn to
kill 1 of them, then just use a level 1 combo to kill the other.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chapter IV-Into the Woods
 Stuff to get:
  Aquasol
 Enemies:
 (Mountain Path, look above)
 (World Map-Grassland, look above)
 (Blackmoon Forest)
  Armor Grub(R): 35/0, Bizfruit
  Forest Elf(R): 21/0, Zetasol
  Hobgob(R): 2/0, Hob-jerky(Hob-steak if burned)
  Jackal(R): 3/0, -
After the fate of Lahan and it's citizens are revealed, Fei awakes to
find himself at blame. You'll be told to leave.
You can go back to the mountain path, and Citan's house, but there
isn't much point to do so, as there is nothing to do but random fights.
Citan suggests that you go to Aveh via the Blackmoon Forest, so when
you're ready, head just southwest of Lahan Ruins, and go into the
  forest.
Head just south a bit and a short sequence will ensue. Follow the path
into the opening, then turn east, hugging the wall. You'll see a single
rock, jump onto it, and then the rock formation west of it. Keep jumping
up until you reach the fallen tree. Follow it west, then drop south to
the other downed tree. Pick up the pouch for an Aquasol.
Keep following the tree south, and drop at the end. You'll see a
hobgob jumping up the roots of a tree. Mimic him to get up to the ledge.
If you examine the hobgob, you'll fight him. Save if you like, then
follow the ledge northeast. Jump across the short gap to the downed
tree. Fight the hobgob to your left, and quickly jump away from the
rolling boulder afterwards. If not, then climb back up here.
Go farther west on the tree, and meet Elly. A fight with 2 Forests
  Elves will happen.

Chapter V-Girl in Forest
 Stuff to get:
  Arcane Rod
  Aquasol
  Survival Tent
 Enemies:
 (Blackmoon Forest, see above)
Elly will have joined you. Now, if you fight those hobgobs, kill them
  with a fire-elemental attack to get a hob-steak.
After breaking camp, head south. There'll be a white sign, and a path
leading up. Go up until you reach another sign. If you go north, you
can go back to the first section of the forest, then back to Lahan. Not
much reason to do so, however.
Going south a bit, can jump the gap following the hobgob, but don't
do so. Instead, head west and make a jump to the chest on the other
side. It's an Arcane Rod. If you drop to your southeast, then you can
pick up the pouch with an Aquasol inside.
Head northeast back to the path. This time, jump that gap going south.
Follow the path going southwest, and drop down to pick up the chest with
a survival tent inside. Save if you like.
Cross the bridge west, then just head southwest into the opening
between the cliffs. You'll get a lot of dialog, and Elly will be under
  attack.

Chapter VI-Broken Silence
 No items
 Enemies:
 (Blackmoon forest, see above)
If you need to save do so now, but the next fight isn't any hard. When
you're ready follow Elly into the path. You'll end up fighting a Rankar
  Dragon without a gear.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Battle
  Rankar Dragon(G): 348/0, Scales
Just defend for a couple rounds, then Citan will come by with your
gear. Throw a couple X, then T-S combos at it whenever you can. The
fight will be over pretty quickly. There's no need to use boosters, but
if you want to finish quicker, use them your first round. He'll annoy
you by slowing you, but just wait, or booster up.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
More dialog, Elly will leave, Citan will join. Citan will also suggest
  going to Dazil.

Chapter VII-Path to Aveh
 No Items
 Enemies:
(Blackmoon Forest, see above)-only if you turn around
Head southwest to leave the forest. While leaving, you will see a
battleship fly by. Citan will explain.

Chapter VIII-Dazil
 No items
 Enemies:
(Blackmoon Forest, see above)-only if go back in
 (World Map-Grassland, see above)
 (World Map-Desert)
  Sand Shark(R): 121/0, -
  Sand Man(R): 60/75, -
 (Endless Desert)
  Sand Shark(R): 121/0, -
  Sand Man(R): 60/75, -
You can run around the desert area to fight Sand Men, your first
source of income. Don't go too far northwest though, you'll end in an
  endless desert.
If that winds up happening, just keep going south, you'll end up in
  the world map.
When all's ready, go into Dazil, you can't miss it, it's also a point
  on your map.
Not much to do, explore a bit if you want though. There is an item
shop, and in the tavern/inn, you can meet Big Joe, though it is
  unnecessary.
Whenever you're ready, go to the Ethos shop in the western part of
town. After hearing that they can't help you, return to the buggy shop
on the other side of town. There should be a buggy outside, and Citan
will suggest that you rent it. Go in and talk to the guy behind the
desk. He'll rent Citan the buggy. Citan will then leave you.
The clerk will warn you about the dangers of the desert. I say let
Citan go alone, he has enough HP to back himself up. Anyhow, leave Dazil
and enter the desert, which is directly west of Dazil.
Follow the Aveh gears up(?), no compass, so I'll just assume that's
north. The next screen shows some kind of UFO. Just keep heading north
for 2 screens. More events will happen, and you'll get a bike, you don't
control it however. You'll eventually be stopped, and end up fighting
  2 Troopers.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Story Battle
  Trooper(G): 180/250, Extra Ar
  Trooper(G): 180/250, Extra Ar
It should only take 2 X's to finish 1 off, so don't waste your fuel
with boosters. The 2nd one can be taken out with combos.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the fight, you'll meet Grahf. He'll introduce you to Wyrm.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Battle
  Wyrm(G): 1044/0, Eyeball
He'll counterattack everything with Slurp, sucking your fuel away.
Boosting would just waste fuel in this fight, as he doesn't kill you
very fast. Your X will not even hit him, so just use T to charge your
Attack Level, then let loose some T-S combos. He'll slowly die. It
should only take 3 T-S combos.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
You'll get captured by Aveh soldiers.

Chapter IX-Desert Attack!
 Stuff to get:
  Survival Tent
  Rosesol
  Extra Ar+1
  Leather Vest
 Enemies:
 (Aveh Sand Cruiser)
  Aveh Soldier(R): 75/35, Rosesol
  Aveh Corporal(R): 75/40, Leather Hat
You'll wind up in a jail cell, with Citan. There's a savepoint in the
cell. After some dialog, you'll be free to move, save if you want, then
talk to Citan. Talk to him again, and he'll ask if you want to rest or
not. If you want to hear more, then talk more, otherwise rest. He'll
eventually start repeating himself, so you'll have to rest sooner or
later. Some creepy dialog with the Emperor will also show.
Bart will attack the sand cruiser that same night.
You'll go back to Fei. When you have control, leave your room and head
east. The next room with have a chest containing a Survival Tent. Leave
that room and head west, shutting the doors by hitting the switches on
the right side of each door. In the room west of your cell is a chest
with a Rosesol. If your head gets covered in sand, you'll have to
redo this all, but do not have to reset because it will start you up
  right after Bart's attack.
This section is annoying. There will be random fights, and if you
take too long, panels on the floor will fall. Also, in the fights, fire
will come from the engine room and hit your characters for about 30.
Head east on the platform. Instead of climbing the stairs going up,
take the northern ladder to the higher platform. Go down the other side,
and head west to pick up a chest with a Extra Ar+1. Go back to the
stairs and take them up. Keep following the path and take a north to
pick up a leather vest. Go back and follow the path to take the ladder
  up.
No worries on this floor, but still random fights. I don't think
there's a way to climb the boxes, so just circle around them and take
  the ladder going up.
Just do as Citan says and move South on the Crane. Don't worry about
falling, nothing will happen. Don't take too long though, or else
Weltall will sink into the sand. Fei'll jump into Weltall, and fight
  Brigandier.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Brigandier(G):
This shouldn't be too hard of a fight. You might want to use booster
if you want to end the fight quicker, but you'll be stuck in the
Stalactite Cave with a bit less fuel, but that shouldn't affect too
much. He'll Wild Smile, then just attack. Just keep hitting him with
  X, then a T-S combo, and he'll eventually fall. If your X isn't hitting
too much, then use something else.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the fight, you'll both drop into quicksand.

Chapter X-Stalactite Cave
 Stuff to get:
  Gold Nugget
  Iron GWhip
 Enemies:
 (Stalactite Cave)
  Sand Man(R): 60/75, -
  Tin Robo(G): 680/210, Extra Ar+1
  Medusoid(G): 689/0, -
  Nomad Fix Bot(G): 420/200, -
  May Fly(G): 1410/690, Extra Ar+1
Bart will have joined you at this point, and you'll be introduced
to using gears in a dungeon. They allow you to get off them, but I
highly urge you not to. If you fight a Nomad Fix Bot, don't kill it and
  let it refill you.
Head due south by southwest of where you started, and you'll notice a
boulder in the wall, examine it, and both of you will push it out of the
way. Head south to pick up the chest for a Gold Nugget, then go west
  into the Cavern entrance.
Just follow the extremely long pathway southwest. On the next screen
still continue going southwest. Talk to the gear if you want, but
continue going southwest into the next area.
There will be some kind of cave house thing in the next area, go to
it. There isn't much point, but if you want, save before entering. Go
in. You'll meet Balthasar in there. After some dialog, talk to him
again, and he'll tell you how to get out. If you talk to him again,
he'll offer to sell you gear parts, or tell you about gear parts. Buy
from him if you want. He will also tell you where the sensors are.
Whenever you're ready, leave Bal's house, and head northeast by
jumping up the platforms. Head through the exit leading northeast. You
should now be above where you were before. Continue going east. In the
next room just follow the long path northeast.
Exit the pathway and you'll end up in the room where you entered the
Cave in, just on the top ledge. It is very important that you do not
fall down, or you'll have to climb all the way back up. Head north, then
west, and turn off the sand sensor. When the light is off, then fall
down. Go into the southwest cavern again, and continue through the long
  pathway leading southwest.
In the waterfall room, just head northwest again, and when you reach
the status-telling gear, go west, rather than south. Turn north, and
you'll notice some ledges laid out for you to jump through. Do so in
your gears to turn off the sand sensor, and again to get the chest with
  the Iron GWhip.
Go back to Balthasar, and talk with him. He'll open the sand gates and
let you out. Before leaving, I highly suggest that you get the best gear
equipment that Bal has to offer, a boss later will be quite hard. You
can still return to him to buy gear parts, he even tells you about
  Calamity.
Leave his cave, and head west then south, through the sand barrier
into the next area. Get off your gear, and hop on the gondola to your
east. Hit the red button over there to turn on the main power, then go
back on the gondola and hop onto your gears. Take the elevator to your
  west down.
Turn south, and drop down. Hop your way back up to the savepoint on
the other side. You should really save, as you'll fight Calamity next.
When you're ready, go on south, and hit the button on the elevator.
Go south after getting off the elevator, and drop off the road.
You'll see Calamity fly by. You can't jump to the other side, so you'll
have to turn east, at which point, Calamity will attack.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Calamity(G): 0/0, -
This is one of the hardest fights because you cannot heal yourself
yet. You'll probably want to booster up in the very beginning. Just hit
him with either S, or X to charge your attack level, S if X keeps
missing. Use T-S combos with Fei at level 1, and T-T for Bart if he
doesn't have T-S yet. You might try to use Wild Smile with Bart on him.
When Calamity gets up, Fei'll handle it.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Say Adios to the cavern, head east, then take the ledge up and west.
Jump onto the road, and take a south to leave.

Chapter XI-Pirate's Lair
 Stuff to get:
  Iron Whip
 Enemies:
 (World Map-Desert-2)
  Neo Tin Robo(G): 1110/150, Extra Ar+1
  May Fly(G): 1410/690, Extra Ar+1
  Spear Trooped(G): 1050/1000, C-Chip
  Trooper(G): 250/100, Extra Ar
  Sand Man(R): 60/75, -
  Sand Shark(R): 121/0, -
 (World Map-Grassland)-same as before
You'll be on the Yggdrasil when all the dialog is over. Citan will be
in your party. The building next to Weltall is the gear shop, if you
feel right, go and upgrade your gears. You can check out the gears by
talking to the people in the hanger, just step up to the gear, and the
screen will change. Right now, there are only 3 gears.
Leave the gear hanger. the first room in the hallway to your east is
empty right now, but it will be important later. The west room is the
quarters, go there if you need to rest. The 2nd door to the east is
the doctor, go there to weigh yourself, that's about it. The third door
to your west is the elevator leading to the bridge, don't go there yet.
The northern most door leads to the 'Gun Room', named after the guns
hanging on the wall(?). Maison is there selling items, and telling you
stories. There is also a savepoint in that room. You might want to stock
up on some zetasols if you don't have too many, you never know when they
  might come in handy.
Taking the spiral staircase down from the gun room leads to 2
quarters, and going west from there leads to the engine room. Nothing
important there. Get use to the Yggdrasil, you'll be seeing a lot of it.
Whenever you're ready, take the elevator up to the bridge level.
The ladder leads up to deck, usually inaccessible, and the southern
door leads to the bridge. There is a savepoint here also. Before talking
to Bart and Sigurd, talk to the crew. Franz will give you a sound test,
and others will show you the map. When you're ready, talk to Sigurd.
Some sequences follow. Maison lead you to the kitchen, follow him.
Even more dialog. When you finally regain control, Fei'll be alone. Talk
to the people in the kitchen, the lady behind the counter sells stuff.
Before exploring more, go meet up with Bart. Leave the room. The
northeastern room, the one on the east wall is where you want to be.
  More dialog follows.
After leaving the control room, Fei'll again be alone. The room west
of the control room is the quarters, go there to rest and save. You
should walk around and talk to everybody. The southeastern room is
Bart's room, enter it, against the sign's warning. Pick up the chest
for an Iron Whip, then try to leave. A short sequence will happen.
He hints to you where he's going to be.
You can leave the Lair through the northwest path. Not much to do
outside, you can visit Bledivak, but no events will happen yet. You can
return to Dazil, or even as far back as Lahan, again no events. You
can't cross the Kislev border yet, so don't bother. The purpose is to
mainly gain exp, and money. If you want to go to Aveh, just follow the
southern mountain ranges, you can't miss the city, it's on top of a
mountain. You won't be sucked into some endless desert anymore either.
I don't think you can return to the Stalactite Cave, ever.
When you've quenched for thirst for exploration, take the elevator
down to the Yggdrasil dock. It's pointless to go down to the gear
hangers of the Lair, but you can do so if you want to. Get there by
east, then south and down another elevator. Otherwise, try to enter
the Yggdrasil. Tell Bart that he can have a second of your time.
Now walk around and go down to the gear hangers. Just make a east
once the elevator stops, and hop up to the platform. Talk to the guy
standing in front of Weltall. And again, more dialog. When you regain
control, go back up to the residential area. Do any shopping you think
that is necessary, then go to the quarters. Save up, then take a nap.
During the middle of the night, Bart's Lair will be attacked. While
this is happening, you can talk to the people, and still do some
shopping. You'll inevitably have to go down the elevator though. Short
  dialogs, then some fights.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Battle
  Sword Knight(G): 1500/300, -
You get Bart and 2 of his pirates. Don't waste fuel with boosters,
  just attack him to death.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Battle
  Aegis Knight(G): 1500/300, -
Only Citan in his new Heimdal this time. Just attack it to death. Save
your fuel for the final fight, so don't waste it with boosters. He'll
weaken your armor, but it should be over in 4 rounds.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Battle
  Wand Knight(G): 1500/200, Extra Ar+2
  Wand Knight(G): 1500/200, Extra Ar+2
You get Bart and Citan this time around. Again don't use booster, and
just attack 'em to death. His main attack is the Beam attack.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Battle
  Claw Knight(G): 1500/300, Extra Ar+2
Just Fei for this one. Again, save fuel, and just attack it to death.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Battle
  Schpariel(G): 17890/1700, Beam Coat
Ok, now use your boosters, unless you're low on fuel. Not much choice,
just attack it to death and hope for the best.

Chapter XII-Operation Aveh
 Stuff to get:
  H&S Badge
 Enemies:
 (World Map-Desrt-2)-see above
 (World Map-Grassland)-see above
You'll be in front of the Yggdrasil the next morning. Do whatever
preparations you think are necessary, then get to Aveh. You can do this
either by walking through the desert on Gear/foot, or taking the
Yggdrasil. To get to Aveh, just follow the southern mountain range. The
person standing next to Sigurd will teach you how to use the Yggdrasil.
You'll have to get out of the Yggdrasil before entering the city.
Bledivak is split up into sections, each symbolized by a 3D green
upside-down pyramid. The red one leads you back to the World Map. Before
you even enter the first section, you'll wind up seeing a sequence with
the docking of a Geblar aerial battleship. You'll also be introduced to
Ramsus, Miang, Shakhan, Vanderkaum, and even Margie.
Back to your party. The minute you walk in, someone advertises about
a hotel, doesn't matter your answer.
There will be several peddlers trying to sell you products, some have
uses, some don't. If you intend to buy any, don't answer anything when
you are offered to buy them, wait till the price gets lowered to 8G.
If you go to the northwestern most stall, talk to the lady and a short
scene will ensue where a kid will take a fruit, and give it to another
kid who runs away. Follow them through some kind of path, and talk to
them. You can give them money, it's 1000G. If you pay them now, later
on(2nd disc), they will pay you back 100G every time you talk to them
and leave the screen, which isn't a lot for then, but do whatever you
  want.
Also, in that same place is a boy in the northeastern corner. Talk
to him and play him hide-and seek. You can try to find him the next
couple times alone, just for fun, if so, skip the next paragraph.
He won't go away until you enter a building or something, so into a
house and come right back up.
To locate his first hiding location, go back to the main street. Go
north, and just under the arch, but don't leave the area yet. Turn the
camera so that you can see the other side, the boy is hiding behind the
archway on the eastern side. Go in another building and come back out.
Climb the ladder on the western side of the main street, and to the
south, there should be an Ethos shop. The boy is behind the barrels
to the west of the Ethos shop. Go in and out of a building again.
North of the Hotel on the Western side of town is a little archway.
The boy is hiding behind the archway, rotate the camera to see him.
In and out again. Go back to the entrance of town, and take an east
turn. Between the wall of the city, and the wall of the ledge, there's
the boy hiding. he's barely visible. Talk to him and he'll give you the
  H&S Badge.
There is an Ethos Store in town, where you can get Gear parts, also
a weapons and armor shop. Explore and talk to everybody. The restaurant
on the Western side of town refills you HP/EP a bit, cept the delicious
meal will give you full HP/EP. They will all raise your weight though.
When you're set go to the hotel, where a nun will help you. Go to the
room that she tells you to, and speak with her. Also, you could've
gotten in the room through the window, before entering the hotel that
is, it doesn't matter which way you meet her.
Now, leave the market via the northern exit.
Go north on the section map to Shakhan Square, then enter through the
southern entrance. The camel guy on the west sells you unusable items,
but if you want to fill up your inventory, but them. The eagle-boy will
tell you about the gold nugget in the restaurant if you give him a
minigear. This is unnecessary as the FAQ will tell you how to get it
later. You can get a balloon from the odd-looking fellow in front of
the middle western tent. The southeastern tent sells you beer. You'll
gain weight if you buy any. After getting some, the screen will begin
to wobble, then the clerk will offer you Durian Juice, Aveh and Nisan
water. All have no use, and all go for 10G, buy them if you want to
  fill your inventory.
Talk to the people in the Square, explore. When you're ready, leave
the square through the northern exit, but Bart will have to stay behind.
Go on up to the castle. A man will tell you about the Tournament, and
Citan will suggest that Fei join. Go to either of the stalls and sign
in with a fake name, which doesn't matter. Talk and explore if you want,
but leave the castle when you're ready.
Head back to the open air market. Climb the east stairs from the
main street, and go to the back of the buildings. There will be
someone doing their laundry. Talk to her, and the man sitting by a
grate. Go back to the nun in the hotel and talk with her. You'll
still need to find the key.
Go back to the laundry lady, and talk to the old man sitting by
the grate again. Answer either of the bottom 2 answers, and you'll
get the key. Go back to the hotel, and talk to the nun again. Your plan
is now complete, so you are free to do as you choose. The only thing
different that you can do is play the mini games in the middle western
  tent in Shakhan Square.
The first game on the left is 'Merry Go Pop'. Cost is 10G. The person
in the game will explain the rules. You get about 70 seconds. You can
get negative points, so don't start hitting white ones thinking you are
immune to them with 0 points.
Under hard, the room flashes, so it's harder to distinguish the colors.
There doesn't seem to be a difference between the difficulties and the
  prizes.
  up to 790 pts. Aquasol - value:20G
  800-990 pts. Rosesol - value:100G
  1000-1210 pts. Iron Helmet - value:200G
The second game from the left is 'Whose Balloons'. Cost 10G, each
bingo will get you 5 more items, not 5 times, so 1 bingo gets you 5, 2
gets you 10, not 25, and so on.
  0-24 Balloons Aquasol - Value: 20G
  25-29 Balloons Rosesol - Value: 100G
  30-34 Balloons Aquasol S - Value: 100G
The last room is the 'Mirror of Truth'. It just shows you fatter
if you are weighing more than normal, and vice-versa.
When leaving the fun house, you'll be confronted by someone from
Lahan. Do whatever else you think is necessary, then go back and talk to
  Citan. Get some rest.

Chapter XIII-The Tournament
 Stuff to get:
  Wedding Dress
  Gold Nugget
  Rosesol S (x2)
  Aquasol S (x2)
  Survival Tent
  Hob-jerky (x2)
  Hob-meat
  Cobra Cracka
  Iron Mail (x4)
 Enemies:
 (Fatima Castle)
  Aveh Guard(R): 242/45, Aquasol
  Aveh Guard(R): 242/45, Aquasol(Bigger Version)
Go up to the Castle Grounds, and go talk to the guard. He'll let you
in. When you're ready, enter the eastern tent, where you meet Dan.
Talk to him to get the Tournament started. Also, Wiseman will confront
  you for the first time.
You now are in control of Bart. While Bart is going through the
waterways, Fei'll get into random attacks, part of the tournament. I'll
  list them here.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Story Battle
  Gonzalez(R): 500/0, Survival Tent
    Hit and heal, nothing hard.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Story Battle
  Big Joe(R): 1/1, Metal Vest
The crowd loves this guy, but he isn't too tough. Just watch out cause
the audience might throw garbage at you, hitting you harder than he
does. The crowd may even heal Joe. He's not too tough though, just keep
hitting him till he goes down.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Story Battle
  Scud(R): 500/0, -
His pills can get really annoying, making you really weak, and him
really fast. He'll also start curing himself with his pills later. To
counter his attack lowering pill, use Iron Valor. Just keep hitting him
  and he'll eventually fall.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Story Battle
  Dan(R): 500/5, -
Keep defending and healing yourself, don't hurt the little annoying
guy. His beginning attacks are weak, but he'll get really strong later.
If you can't handle the attacks, or are just pissed at Dan, hit him with
all you got, you'll miss out on the Wedding Dress though.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Battle
  Wiseman(R): 0/0, -
Hit him with Guided shot if you want to hurt him for 1 damage.
Physical attacks do nothing, he'll eventually run away without
  scratching you though.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Every-time Fei wins a fight, you'll get the menu screen, which will
let you heal up and such. Also, if Fei loses, the game isn't over, just
that he's out of the competition, and won't get the background story
with Dan and Wiseman, which will mean he'll miss out on the Wedding
  Dress also.
It's probably easiest for you to enter the grate that's south of the
hotel, at least for this FAQ it would be easier. Examine the grate to
open it, then go in. If you hold run, you can swim faster, do so and
start swimming north. Don't worry if the current gets too strong, just
  wait till it calms down.
At the first intersection, keep going northeast. There'll be some
kind of pole that you can climb. Do so and pick up the Gold Nugget. Go
back down and continue going northeast through the waterway.
At the next intersection, make a sharp turn to go southeast. At the
end of the tunnel will be a pouch with a Rosesol S. Go back to the
  intersection, and continue going northeast.
At the third intersection, you can turn northeast to go quite a bit
for a survival tent, or just skip it and go on to the next paragraph.
Make that turn to the northeast, then swim to the next intersection.
At this one, turn north, and keep going in that path. Turn southeast
at the following intersection, and follow the path to get a survival
tent. Make the long trek back to where you originally came from, and
  this time, go northwest.
At the next intersection, make a turn southwest to get an Aquasol S.
Go back and continue going north. Take a north at the final intersection
and you'll be at the flood gate. Swim in, talk to the old man, save, and
  climb the ladder up.
If Fei already finished the tournament, then there are a lot more
here than if he hasn't. Come out of the platform, and turn west. Head
northwest, and up into the corridor via the steps. Run into one of the
doors on the wall, you should either be in the kitchen or dining room.
Go to the kitchen, which is south from the Dining room.
In the kitchen, there are some meats hanging from the ceiling, jump
  to get them. You'll get 2 hob-jerkies, and a hob-meat. Leave the
kitchen via the eastern exit. Go south, then turn east with the path,
don't go in the big door south yet, instead keep going east, and turn
north with the path. Enter the first door going east. In the back
of the room is a chest with a Cobra Cracka. Leave, and enter the 3rd
door. Examine the suits of armor to your west and east, all 4 of them
for 4 Iron Mails. You can talk to the guard to fight him if you want.
Leave the room and enter the big door going south.
Go up the stairs and take the big door going north. You'll be on the
castle balcony. There are 6 rooms, 3 on the west, 3 on the east. You can
visit each one, but the 2nd room on the west has the Rosesol s, and the
3rd door on the east has the Aquasol S.
Your main goal is to get to the north building by entering the doors
leading into it from the east and west. You can explore this area. The
first floor has the throne room. Margie is on the 3rd floor, east tower.
Go to the 3rd floor, kill the guards, and enter the door going east.
Follow the corridor north, kill the guards, and enter the room. Margie's
  in there waiting.

Chapter XIV-Margie's Rescue
 No items
 No enemies
It's probably wise to save before leaving Margie's room. On your way
out, Ramsus and Miang will stop you.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Battle
  Ramsus(R): 0/0, -
Be sure not to attack him when he's in his defensive posture, or he'll
really wreak havoc on Bart. Miang will heal Ramsus, and cure his status
ailments, while Margie will do something similar, though not as
effective. You may want to cast Wild Smile, or even a cologne if you
have any. Just give him some deathblows, and it'll be over soon.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Battle
  Ramsus(R): 0/0, -
Use the same strategy, except use Fei to attack, and cast Iron Valor
on himself if he has it. Fei can also heal with Inner Healing. Margie
will have the last word in this fight.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
You'll escape down the elevator, just follow the short path. You'll
eventually escape Aveh with Elly's help.

Chapter XV-Road to Nisan
 Stuff to get:
  Ether Veiler
 No enemies
Go to Margie's room on the Yggdrasil, and speak with her. You'll
meet Chu-chu. Talk to Chu-chu again, and if you picked up the spider
back at the mountain path, she'll eat it and give you a ether veiler.
Go back up to the bridge and talk to Sigurd. Talk to him again, and
take control of the Yggdrasil. Go northwest, and look for a lone tree.
It's also a dot on your map, so go to it. Examine it in the Yggdrasil
  to go to Nisan.
    Dialog, and scenes.

Chapter XVI-City of Peace
 No items
 Enemies:
(World Map-Grassland)-if you decide to leave Nisan
They won't let you back into Yggdrasil, so go into Nisan via the south
entrance. The first house to your west is the Inn, but they can't
accommodate for you, but the clerk will give you something to make you
  lose weight.
Explore the town a bit. The house on the northwest is the town hall,
if you examine the door, you can hear a little of what they are talking
about. When you're ready, leave the city via the northeastern exit.
You'll have to talk to the people to get through.
Go on north to the cathedral, and meet the sisters. When you regain
control, follow Margie all the way up to the painting of Sophia, hearing
some dialog as you go along. After the scene at the painting, head back
down the stairs. There's another door to the south of the stairway going
up to the 'Room of Sophia'. Go in that door, talk to the sisters if
you'd like, they'll talk about some background things. Talk to Agnes on
the south side. She won't be too much of a help to your curiosity.
When you're done in the cathedral, head back to town. Maison will be
there waiting. Go into the house that he is standing in front of. Some
rather long dialog will happen, you have to ask him everything on the
  list.
Go talk to Bart who's on the bridge. When the dialog is over, head
to the northwest building, the town hall. A plan will be devised.
In the morning, make any preparations, you won't come back to Nisan
for a while, save, then tell Bart that you're ready.

Chapter XVII-Recapture Aveh
 Stuff to get:
  Extra Ar+2
  Magnetic Coat
  Rosesol S
  Gold Nugget
 Enemies:
  (Kislev Border)
  May Fly(G): 1410/690, Extra Ar+1
  Edelweiss(G): 880/0, Fang
  Medusoid(G): 698/0, -
  Nomad Repair Bot(G): 689/0, -
When you regain control, it'll be as Citan. You can talk to Maison to
cheer him up. Save if you want. You can explore the Yggdrasil and talk
to the crew, but you'll eventually have to get on deck.
Some sequences follow, and you'll wind up as Fei. Before jumping up
anything, head east on the grass. At the end of the path, you should be
able to see some kind of chest. Jump to it, it's an Extra Ar+2. Jump
your way north, then east. On one of the ledges, if you head south,
there'll be a chest with a Magnetic Coat inside. Just head north after
that, and enter the cavern mouth.
There's really only 1 path here, follow it. Take side paths to get the
chests Rosesol S and Gold Nugget. If you miss a jump, you'll have to
climb back up and try again. On the top, there is a repair bot, and
a save point. If you tell the bot that you don't trust him, you'll fight
him, he'll be a Nomad Repair Bot. If that happens, the savepoint and
your refueling station will be gone, so don't do it. Save, then head out
through the cavern exit. You'll meet some Geblar forces, and fight them.
  One of them is Elly.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Battle
  Wand Knight(G): 1500/200, Extra Ar+2
  Wand Knight(G): 1500/200, Extra Ar+2

  Sword Knight(G): 1500/300, Extra Ar+2
  Aegis Knight(G): 1500/300, Extra Ar+2
    ??
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Battle
  Vierge(G):
This is a real fight, so don't lose. ??
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
When that's over, save, refuel, and head northeast. Walk into the
  light at the top.
Just climb up the ladder as Bart, I think this is one of the more
funnier scenes in the game, with Maison.

Chapter XVIII-Desert Despair
 No items
 Enemies:
  (Border Fleet)
  Sand Tripper(G): 550/110, -
  Gigafoot(G): 320/220, C Circuit
  Trooper(G): 250/100, Extra Ar
Just leave the gun room as Bart. You might want to save also.
When you gain control, your mission is to go west. The little blue
shots will deal 1 damage to you. If you touch any of the gears, you'll
be sucked into a fight, try to avoid those as you'll have to conserve
HP and fuel for the boss. The mines will deal 15 damage to you, so avoid
  those also.
The next screen has the same objective, go west. In the next screen,
  you'll fight the Keifenzel(sp?).
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Main Gun(G): 7000/0, Gold Bullion
  Small Gun(R): 0/0, -
It's probably best to booster your first round. Stomp the small guns,
it should only take 1 attack, then concentrate on the main gun. It
counts down, so try to kill it before it reaches 0.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Dora(G): 13000/2000, Extra Ar+3
Don't get too overjoyed. You'll get 2 of Bart's cronies for this
fight. They won't help too much in the beginning, as their X attack
still does 0. After the armor breaks off however, the cronies can
  do damage with X.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Many more sequences, Bart will have to fight the Red-haired guy.
You'll lose, so don't waste items. Fei'll eventually wake up in Kislev.

Chapter XIX-Kislev Capital
 3500G
 Enemies
(Kislev Sewers)-if you decide to go there
Wow, 5 straight fights already. Save before saying you're ready.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Leonardo(R): 300/150, -
Attack and heal, nothing hard, not neccessary to win, but better to.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Heinrich(R): 300/150, -
Attack and heal, nothing hard, not neccessary to win, but better to.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Vargas(R): 300/150, -
He counterattacks deathblows, so save up your AP for a large attack.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Suzarn(R): 500/0, Metal Jacket
Don't waste EP restoring items, use an Aquasol when your HP gets
really low, he can only hurt for very little. or halve your hp, so try
to keep your HP above 10, and you'll be fine.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Rico(R): 0/0, -
    You're suppose to lose.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
You really didn't have to win all of those fights, but it probably
would've been best if you did.
You'll wake up in some kind of quarters. Examine the beds if you want
to rest up. You can weigh yourself in the eastern room. When you're
ready, head upstairs. You can talk to the other people here if you want.
The meals are suppose to somehow get some of your stats up, but I don't
  seem to notice any difference.
Head out the east door, the west one is being repaired. You can
explore around the place if you want, but you can't leave. Whenever
you're ready, head to the bar, which is south, then east from the exit
of your quarters. Go inside, and talk to the 'beastoid main'. He'll
introduce himself as Hammer. Talk to him again, and answer 'Come to
think of it', to buy some items.
Head back towards your cell. The sewers are opened now. Take the
ladder right next to the west exit from your cell, and follow the roof
north, then west, and go down the manhole to get there. There isn't much
point to go in, besides money and experience. There are a couple chests
in there, but you'll be forced to go inside later anyways, so don't
  bother getting them now.
The east door from your cell is now fixed. If you exit it, you'll be
in front of an Ethos store. There is a gear salesperson, but you don't
have a gear, so there's no point. It's also the B-info station. You
can trade in items for money, I think how much money is dependent on
  your rank.
Follow the path north from the eastern exit, and the guard there'll
tell you that the committee has been looking for you. Anyways, go back to
the bar, and you'll run into the committee.
Head back to your cell, to find Hammer already waiting there. Go down
and check who the doctor is, big surprise huh? You'll be asked if you
want to risk taking off the collar. Go ahead and try to take it off,
you'll just get 3500G, but the collar stays. Anyways, Hammer'll go sign
you up for the Battling, and another sequence with the weird sphere
  thing happens.

Chapter XX-Brave Battlers
 No items
 Enemies:
(Kislev Sewers)-if you decide to go there
Head upstairs, and Hammer will meet you. Head out the east exit, and
follow the north path out of D-block. You're only choice of destination
  is C-block, so go there.
Rue will meet you there, and invite you to your gear. Before talking
to her again, you might want to learn a few things from the
receptionist. Also, Hammer's here, selling items and accessories. Save,
then talk to Rue. Your gear is... Weltall, another surprise.
You really should get some kind of tutorial or practice before you
actually start battling, but it's up to you. Your first opponent is
Ganador, I'm not going to provide any kind of help section for this
part, because it's really easy. If you can't win, just use this
strategy: walk away, then keep throwing ether balls at them, and
spring to run away form their ether balls. By the way, if you have an
analog, it'll start working for the battle arena, even though it isn't
suppose to be an analog game.

Chapter XXI-Sewer Horror
 Stuff to get:
  Aquasol S
  Physisol
  Kislev Map
  Cool Shades
  Knight Helm
  Sewer Keys
  Poison Guard
  Gallant Belt
  Gold Nugget
  Zetasol DX
  Bell Amulet
  Ether Veiler
 Enemies:
  (Kislev Sewers)
  Hobgob(R): 490/0, Hob-jerky, Hob-Meat
  Acid Frog(R): 885/0, Mentsol, Physisol
  Armor Wasp(R): 880/0, Eyeball

  Rotten Sod(R): 5480/146, Zetasol
  Mullet(R): 2930/0, Aquasol, Aquasol S
  Batrat(R): 1799/0, Fang
You'll get blown up, and wind up back in your cell. Go up the stairs,
and take the eastern exit out, and follow the path out of D-block. Back
to C-block. Hammer can outfit you with gear equipment now, but it won't
help you in the Battling Arena. The ethos store outside of your cell can
also help you now, but Hammer sells the exact same thing.
When you're ready, go talk to the receptionist and enter the bouts for
Day 2. You're opponents this time are Tin Robo, and Titan. By the way,
after a victory, you can press L1, and then rotate the camera angle with
left and right on your control pad to view Weltall. If you lose any
battles, the receptionist will just pretend that it never happened. so
  don't worry too much.
After winning 2 battles, go back to D-block and rest up. The next
morning, head back to the battling arena, and win 2 more battles. Day
3's battles are against W-Shaver and Musha. After winning, go back and
  rest up again.
The next morning, you'll be greeted by Rico, and he'll also join
your party. When you're ready, take the west exit out, and go to the
  sewers.
The water flowing out of the pipes do 3 damage to Fei, so jump over
them. The fans in the air also do damage, so avoid them also.
Cross the first bridge you see, going north. Turn east, and cross that
bridge also. Keep going east, and get the chest at the end for an
Aquasol S. Go back west, and turn north passing the bridge you came
from. This is the first murder scene.
Go back to the entrance ladder, and this time, head west. Follow the
path, skipping the bridge. At the end, pick up the chest for a Physisol.
go back, and cross that bridge that you just skipped. Head south to the
2nd murder scene, then turn north. Follow the path until another bridge.
Cross it, and head west to pick up the Kislev map. Take the ladder down
  on the other side.
Follow the path south, skipping the bridges, and pick up the chest for
Cool Shades. Cross the bridge right by you. Go up the ladder next to the
'No Entry' sign. Follow the path northwest, enter the door, and keep
with the path. You'll run into the third murder scene. At the end is a
chest with a Knight Helm. Go back to the ladder and go back down, then
head southwest to the fourth murder scene.
Head back to where you came from, the ladder, and cross the bridge
next to it. Follow the path west, skipping the bridges. Cross the bridge
before the dead end to reach a save point. Skip the bridge, and follow
the path north until you hit some kind of machine. Examine it after
the talking to get the Sewer Keys. Back track to the save point, and
cross the bridge. You'll probably want to save also. Go back, and cross
the first bridge you come by, it should be heading northeast. Take the
path going northwest, and get the chest at the end for a Poison Guard.
Backtrack to the bridge, and this time take the path going southeast.
At the end of the path, go into the door.
Follow the path until the 2nd bridge, cross it. Go north, and examine
this pipe, it has sludge, but no murder scene. Remember this site. Keep
following the path, and pick up the Gallant Belt at the end. Go back,
and cross no bridges as you go the other way. Find the fifth murder
scene, and pick up the chest at the end for a Gold Nugget. Start
backtracking, and cross the first bridge you come by, it's next to the
short green guy. You can talk to him if you want. Head west after the
bridge, and get the chest at the end for a Zetasol DX. Go back and this
time, head east. Cross the first bridge you come by. Head southeast,
and pick up the Mentsol at the end. Turn around, and go north at the
bridge. Follow this path, and examine the door at the end. Go on in, you
  don't fight the boss yet.
Hop over the pit, and pick up the Bell Amulet, then climb the pipes up
and pick up the Ether Veiler. Leave the room. Remember the site with
slime, but no murder scene, go there. Follow the west path, cross the
first bridge, then head northwest. Cross the first bridge you come by,
and head west, Follow this path, past the green guy, and pass the bridge
you come by, to the sludged pipe. Be ready, then examine the sludge,
  you'll fight Redrum(murder spelled backwards).
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight:
  Redrum(R): 53000/500, -
You'll want Citan to Renki, then Suiseii, so that his fire attacks
won't sting as badly. He has 1 really annoying move where he kills you
and takes all your hp, so have some zetasols handy for this one. Don't
bother with spells, just concentrate on using deathblows, and save up
your AP if you want. He'll eventually go down.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
    More scenes.

Chapter XXII-Battling Champ
 No items
 Enemies:
(Kislev Sewers)-if you decide to go there
Head back to your quarters, and rest up, might want to save also. Go
back to C-block, and win 3 fights in day 4, against Hatamoto, Fire Wheel
  and Silver Star.
Hmm....Hammer tells you to save, what's that mean? You'd better save,
but the boss isn't that hard. Leave the block, and you'll be in the
paddocks with Citan. Eventually Wiseman will come, and you'll have to
  fight him.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Wiseman(R): 0/0, -
I'll get around to boss fights in the next revision, but save your AP,
you're suppose to, then release a large AP combo thread.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
More scenes, seems to follow boss fights like a plague. Don't worry
about his hint too much, it's not important.
You'll wind up back in your quarters. When you're ready, head back to
the arena, and fight Stier, Rico. This fight'll be best out of 5.

Chapter XXIII-Gear Dock Raid
 Stuff to get:
  Insulated AR
  Power Magic
  Momento Chain
  Knight Mail
  2000G
  Master Key
  Frame HP30
  Minigear
  Survival Tent
 Enemies:
(Kislev Sewers)-if you decide to go there
  (World Map-Grassland 2)
  Hobgob(R): 490/0, Hob-jerky, Hob-Meat
  Pecking Duck(R): 612/0, -

  Batrat(R): 1799/0, Fang
  Mechanic(R): 850/180, -
  Hobgob(R): 490/0, Hob-jerky, Hob-Meat
  Swordsman(R): 1692/89, Aquasol, Rosesol
  Swordsman(R): 1692/433, Evasion Ring
You're now the 'Champ', so you get the spiffy room. Your collars are
gone. The next room is a savepoint and bed, you'll probably want to rest
up. Leave D-block, unless you want to visit the sewers or something.
You can do lot of stuff now. You can leave Nortune, via the red
pyramids. Nothing to do outside, besides fight random fights and visit
the Goliath Factory up north, but no point to do so, as there aren't
even fights up there, and you can't open any of the doors yet.
The other thing to do is go to A block. Here, you can find Big Joe
at the eastern side, talk to him. He'll offer to let you see something.
If you do, he'll take 5000G away from you, but you'll get an M Disc
later from him. If you don't pay him, you can pick up the M disc later,
by winning a lotta times at battling at the end of disc 2. I recommend
that you just pay the 5000G now. Also in A-block, you can meet the
doctor that you first met back in D-block. Go up the stairs of the
central building, and you'll be on the roof. There's a little opening
at the top that you can jump off, and right into some kind of wooden
pipe. Do so, and you'll meet the doctor again. There's also an
accessory shop in A-block, it's kind of hard to find sometimes, but
Hammer sold you the same stuff earlier, so don't worry about it.
Whenever you're done, head to the green pyramid smack dab in the
center of the Nortune sub-map. It's in the pink thing.
Inside, talk to the soldiers, and they'll let you in, you'll also
notice Rico following you. Before you go up the elevator, you can head
into the western room, and talk to the soldiers about the Goliath. This
will be used later. Take the eastern door, and follow the stairs down.
Talk to the man if you want, but enter the door at the bottom. The
southern door just leads you to the kitchen, so go to the western door,
the large one. Notice the chest in the northwestern corner, and the guy
next to it. Jump on his head, and reach the chest, then drop down and
  talk to him.
Operate the crane with the panel next to him. You now are in control
of the crane, you can only move it left and right. Your goal is to try
to get the crane past all the obstacles, and all the way to the southern
side of the room. You need to get the crane on the western side of the
yellow truck thing, not the eastern side. You'll have to try to fit
the crane between the truck, and the green crate. If you succeed, jump
on the crane, and onto the lowered green crates at the end, and get the
chest on the inside. It's a Power Magic. If you get too frustrated, then
  quit, it's not that important.
Go back to the main entrance, and take the elevator up now. The
southern door leads to the bridge of the place, what's it for, you'll
find out later on. You can't enter the room on the east, so head up the
stairs on the west. Go in the door, and talk to the Kaiser. More scenes.
This story here is kind of complicated, but the main idea is that Rico
  is Sigmund's son.
You'll end up with Rico in your party. Before you leave the room,
check the desk on the northern wall to get a Momento Chain. Now, leave
the room. You'll lose Rico. Go back to the Kaiser's room, and pick up
the chest next to the organ for a Knight Mail.
Leave the central district, and you'll be in A-block. Walk up a bit,
and Hammer will greet you. He'll tell you where your gear is. Now would
be a good time to visit the old doctor, and get swindled by Big Joe,
both of which are optional. Go back to D-block. Walk a little in, and
some battlers will speak with you. One of them will give you 2000G.
If you think that things are ready, go take a nap. You'll wake up at
nighttime. Save before you leave. Leave the bar. Go west, then north,
and climb the ladder that you used back when you went to the sewers.
Turn south, and climb the boxes and ladder to the observation tower.
Talk to the Amazoness at the top.
You'll see the train coming, jump down so you land on it. If you fail
at any point during this sequence, you'll just have to redo, so don't
reset. Keep jumping northward, and get to the frontmost car. You'll
  automatically jump.
You'll be in a room with a savepoint. Examine the southern door, and
see 2 soldiers come in. Both doors are inaccessible, so climb up the
crates, and into the exposed shaft.
At the first intersection, keep south, or turn west if you want to
look down the grates, it's optional though. Turn south at the next
intersection. Follow the path out of this shaft.
You can't use this door either, so jump onto the crates to reach the
other shaft entrance. At the first intersection, head west, or north if
you want to look down for more scenes. At the next choice, head west for
another scene, or just keep south to continue. Follow the path out of
  this shaft.
Check the cabinet for the Master Key, and a Frame HP30. Leave the
room. Take the only other exit out of this room, a door heading north.
Leave this room also. This area has 2 other exits, the south leads you
back to a room you've already been to so take the northwestern door.
Check behind the counter in this room, you'll get a minigear, and
fight 4 Swordsmen. You could've skipped this of course. Head out of this
room via the north door, and back to your original room. Save if you
want, then head out the eastern door.
Follow the path and go down the stairs. Be sure to pick up the
chest for a Survival Tent. Leave through the west door, and into a hear
hanger. Be sure to talk to the automated gear shop before you leave.
Rotate the gear in the 1st hanger form the east twice, and it's Weltall.
Examine him, and you'll jump in. Save, and be sure to equip him with the
best things you got. Hop on one of the elevators, and leave the Gear
  Dock.

  Shinobi Mk0(G): 12000/1500, Simp Circuit
  Mechanic(R): 850/180, -
  Hatamoto Mk3(G): 5200/250, Mica
Leave the house after you regain control. If you haven't already, you
can go get swindled by Big Joe, then try to leave the block. If you
already got swindled by Joe, head back to where he was, eastern side of
the block, and check the dead end for an M Disk. Now, try to leave the
block. The only way out is south, so go there. Go ahead and pick a fight
with the guards, Rico'll finish 'em off anyways.
Joe in the world map will hint to you about the M disk, so get it now
if you haven't already. He'll also tell you how to change party members,
do so if you want to use Rico.
Whenever you're ready, leave Nortune via a red pyramid. There's a new
dot on your world map, try to get there. You'll have to first walk
around the river directly north of you, so go east and go across at the
bunch of trees. It's not a difficult path to get to the factory. You can
  even use your gears.
This is obviously a gear area, but you still have the option to use
your characters alone, but I highly suggest that you don't follow that
path. There aren't any random fights yet. At the first intersection go
north, then follow the path until you find Hammer, he's in a gear. If
you intend to use Elly, you'll probably want to upgrade her 1500 HP
frame here. Walk past him and examine the large door north of him.
In this new area, just keep heading north, you'll go through some
set battles. The first is against 3 HarquebusMk10s. The next fight is
against 3 NeoMushaMk100s. The third fight is against 2 HarquebusMk10s.
be sure not to miss the chest on the right side after this fight, it's a
gold nugget. Go ahead and examine the large door at the end to advance.
This new area does have random fights, so be ready. Also, you can use
those Frame Hp10's, and 30's outside of battles. Just keep following the
path. At the first intersection, go south to save, otherwise keep going
east. At the next intersection, go east to pick up a 02 Cylinder, then
continue on the west path until another large door, enter it.
Another prearranged battle area. First fight is against 2
HarquebusMk10s. Second against 4 Mechanics, and 2 Hatamoto Mk3s. Hop on
the elevator at the end of the area, and let the conveyor belt lead you
westward. In this next room, pick up the chest with an Extra Ar+3 by
getting off your gears. Then, press the flashing thingee on the east
wall to make the conveyor belt go the other way.
Hop back on the elevator, then jump on the conveyor belt at let it
carry you eastward. When you stop moving, hop down to ground level, and
hit the blue flashing thingee that's on the west wall. Hop back onto the
conveyor belt that you just turned around, and ride it all the way. Do
not go experimenting and jumping off, you'll just end up repeating
  most of the process again.
This new area has 3 blue flashing thingees, and a savepoint. Save if
you want. The correct flashy thingee is the lone one on the southern
wall. One of the north wall ones will let down 2 chests, with a Gold
Nugget and Mica. Take the belt that you just changed, and wind up in an
empty room. Not much choice, head into the opening, and Fis-6 will pop
  out.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Fis-6(G): 67284/15000, Ground
Booster, and kill, not too hard.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enter the opening now. There's a savepoint, use it if you want. Talk
to everyone, then Citan, and say that you're ready to go. Off the
  Goliath goes.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight:
  Grahf(R): 0/0, -
Even though you have gears, and he's alone, he's pretty buff. He'll
start the fight with a hp-halving attack on everyone except Elly.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
You'll be given another chance to save. You can talk to everyone, but
it's not required, just talk to Citan when you're ready. Again.

Chapter XXVI-Escape Ignas
  No items
  No enemies
You'll regain control in the remnants of the Goliath, with Elly. Check
the source of the rumbles, and it'll be Fei.
Now you'll be in control of Citan and Rico. You can explore around the
ship, but you'll ultimately want to visit Bart who is on the bridge.
Take note that the gear shop is selling better equipment.

Chapter XXVII-Adrift at Sea
 No items
 No random enemies
Now as Bart, talk to Citan and Rico. You can explore around the ship,
but Citan is in the Gear shop, and Rico is in the gear hanger with
  Stier.

Chapter XXVIII-Men of the Sea
 Stuff to get:
  Lunar Rod
  D Circuit
  Serpent G Whip
  Mica
  Super Goggles
  Mentsol
  Premier Shoes
  Deathblower 1
 No random battles
You'll finally regain control on the Thames. There's a save point
around you, use it if you want. There are two stores here on deck, an
item shop, and an accessory shop. Leave the deck when you're ready. This
is another sub-map. Go to either one of the pyramids that leads to the
  Supply Entrance.
There are 4 chests in this location.
1)From the beginning, jump across the black gun over the chasm rather
then going down the stairs. It leads north. Drop to your east, and
follow the path across the wooden plank, and knife. Jump on those
circular objects on your way to get the chest with a Lunar Rod.
2)Go down the stairs from the original entrance, and take the southern
door at the base of the steps. Hug the western wall, and fall south
onto some crates, go north, and take the chest for a D Circuit.
3)Go to the very northwest of the area, and jump on the lone crate. Use
the crate and jump over the fence thing right east of you. Fall in the
isolated area and pick up the chest for a Serpent G Whip.
4)In the northwest corner, before the ramp, notice that there is a
thing coming by, right on top of you, with a chest on it. Act like
Mario, and jump to hit the thing, and the chest will fall right down.
    It's a Mica.
In the northwest part of the area, there is a little kid standing on
the corner. If you talk to him, he'll offer to show you. Ask him to show
you and he'll teach you how to play speed, the Xenogears version. Beat
him in his own game, and he'll give you a Super Goggles. A good way of
winning is to pause the game, giving you time to think your next move.
In the northeast corner of the area, there is a person who'll sell you
  gear parts.
When you're done at the Supply Entrance, take the Screw elevator, the
door in the northeast, and go to the third floor, the Beer Hall. Talk
to the boy on top of the white thing next to the savepoint for a
Mentsol. The guy in the southern corner of the room will play you cards
also. Beat him for a Premier Shoes.
If need be, take the southeastern door to the infirmary, and talk to
the doctor so that you can rest up. If you've beaten both the boy and
the person in the Beer Hall at cards, go to the deck, the place you
originally came from, Armor Ground, and talk to the Amazoness standing
atop the crates. She'll play you cards. Beat her, if you can, for a
Deathblower 1. You can also play her again, just for fun though.
Now, when all's ready, take the screw elevator to the fourth floor,
the bridge. Talk to the guy in red, the captain. Take the west door
and follow the captain into the Beer Hall. Talk to the captain there.
When he's done talking, look for him again in the bridge, you might
want to save first. Head back to the deck, and hop on your gears.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Haishao(G): 0/0, -
Booster, attack, heal when needed. If you're fully upgraded, this
  shouldn't be too hard.

Now you're controlling Fei, Bart, and Citan. Maison in the Yggdrasil
is selling items, visit him if you want. The gears store has the same

Thames, and talk to the captain.

Chapter XXX-Betrayal
 Stuff to get:
  LongDarkCoat
 No random battles
What a gloomy chapter name. Anyways, with Fei, you can visit Margie,
who is in her room. That's the eastern room next to the entrance to the
gear hangers. You can also visit the gear store, or Maison.
When you're ready, head to the beer hall on the Thames. Elly'll come
back. With Fei and Bart, make your way to the engine room of the
Yggdrasil. Stop at the deck of the Yggdrasil and play Big Joe for a Long
Dark Coat. Here's where the name of the chapter comes in. When all's
  done, talk to Citan twice.

Chapter XXXI-Ramsus' Attack
 No items
 No random battles
Go to the medical room, the room next to Margie's room. If Fei has
all of your best equipment, it's probably best to remove the better ones
and give him lesser equipment because you're going to lose him for a
while. Talk to Elly when you're ready. Exit the menu to start the fight.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Bladegash(G): 22428/3000, STR Drive
Fast boss, but you might not want to boost because there's another

  swords.

 Boss Fight
  Haishao(G): 0/0, -
  Miang's Gear(G): 0/0, -
You get no restore from the previous fight. Booster, attack, when
the Haishao takes a defensive stand, charge up your fuel or restore,
after it uses Tsunami, hit it again.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Head back to the Deck now, with Elly and Bart, and go to the Armor
Ground. Here you'll meet up with Jesiah, Billy, and Primera.

  Mammoth(G): 3750/0, EhterStoneLg
Head back to the Yggdrasil. Margie will help you change party members
  if need be.
Talk to Sigurd on the bridge to get things rolling. You now can
control the Yggdrasil. You can explore around the world. There is 1
beach on Ignas that you can use, on the southern side. You can revisit
any of the places that you visited earlier. There aren't any really
important things to do, but you can visit Nortune, and see what happened
after you left. The Goliath Factory is inaccessible as Hammer isn't
there to open the main door. Nothing in Dazil. Bledivak is under martial
law, you can't get in. Only a couple of people in the control room in
Bart's Lair. Nothing to do in Nisan, besides to check their status,
  they're fine.
If I were you though, I'd just skip the whole Ignas thing, it's
absurdly annoying, and useless to go there. If you're ever in need of
healing, just press square, then run down to the gear shop, and refuel.
When all's ready, go to the Ethos Headquarters. There are 4 dots on
the bottom left of your screen, the HQ is the north-most of those 4 dots.
Walk up a little, and Billy will confront you. Keep following him, as he
asks, he won't let you go anywhere else. You'll eventually find Fei.
Elly'll temporarily leave, so go explore the place. I'm not sure
exactly how to get Elly, but I think you have to explore all the rooms,
but Elly'll eventually come tell you Fei's situation. With Elly back,
  go to the infirmary again.

Chapter XXXIII-The Orphanage
Suggested party: Elly, Rico, 1 other
 Stuff to get:
  Tag Badge
  Book 1
  Book 2
  Book 3
 Enemies:
  (World Map-Sea)
  (World Map-Aquvy Islands)
Back on the Yggdrasil, do anything you need to. If you don't have Rico
in your party, get him in, just for a little bit. Go talk to Sigurd, and
launch the Yggdrasil. Your destination, the orphanage. This is the south
east dot of the Aquvy Islands. Babel Tower is also an option now, but
you can't actually go into the tower, just a quick view of how high it
  goes. It's the center dot.
In the west part of the house, there is a fenced area, with a lone boy
standing there. Talk to him. Help him bring the chickens into the coop,
and get a Tag Badge. You can talk to the children around the outside of
the orphanage if want. When you're ready, go into the house via the
southern entrance. You should see Billy, but don't talk to him yet.
Instead, go up the ladder, and follow the path around to a young child.
Talk to him/her, and say 'Ok', and she'll give you the first book.
Go through the north door, and into the bedroom area. Check the 2nd
door on the east. I'm not sure how to get this door to open, but if it
doesn't, try reading the book to the child on top of the northern bunk
bed, or sleeping, fluffing the bed. Do either one of those, then leave
the room, and come back, then check the door. It should open now, and
the child will give you Book 2.
Now go into the 1st door on the east. This room houses Primera, and
another boy. Talk to the other boy, and if Rico is in your party, he'll
give you Book 3, but you lose the Bell Amulet, it was useless anyways.
You'll use all 3 books later.
Now, go talk to Billy. Citan will leave if he was with you. Go north
two rooms, and examine the bookshelf.

  Abandon(R): 3203/350, B&JM10S Ammo
  Shellbelle(R): 9670/0, -
After some dialog with Stone, leave the orphanage. You'll be back to
the Yggdrasil, go to the gun room, the room that Maison is in. After
the dialog is done, talk to Sigurd.
The next day, talk to Billy who is in the Gun Room. If you're going to
use Billy, you should pay attention to this little speech of his.
Elly is no longer mandatory, but Billy is. Maison is selling new
equipment. Leave the Yggdrasil, and you'll arrive on the transport ship.
In the first room, just head north, Billy'll knock the boxes out of
the way. After he pushes 1 set of boxes away, look on the east wall for
a red switch. That will turn on the lights. There's a chest in this
room, get it, it's a Penguin Coat. If you need to save, go through the
north door, otherwise, go up the ladder.
Head north, and go down the next hole that you come by. Pick up the
chest right next to the base of the ladder for a B7JM10S Ammo. Make your
way back south. Get the chest for a Survival Tent, then press the red
button. You can go back south and save.
Go north through the door. The first door to the west leads to a
shower, nothing special. The first door to the east has a pouch with
the Cabin Key in it. Nothing in the 2nd door to the east, pick up the
Silver Beret in the second door to the west. The third door to the west
has a ShotG60 Ammo in it. Nothing in the third east door. Examine the
door at the end of the hallway, leading north. It's rusted shut, so
you'll have to ram it down. Go to the entrance of the hallway, then run
at the door. It should open, follow the path and take the ladder up.
Take the path northward. At the end is a save point, use it if you
want. Just south of the save point is something that opens and closes,
  hop in when it's opened.

Sigurd on the bridge when you're ready, and launch the Yggdrasil. Head
back to the orphanage. The southern room of the house has a bookshelf.
If you have all 3 books, examine it, the shelf will open. Move it all
the way out, and go into the back room and pick up the B&J M686 Gun.
Now, head back to the Ethos Headquarters. Something very horrible
happened here. Go north, throw the fence, and then through the western
door. Go all the way to the end of hallway, then enter the door going
west there. Inside, the cabinet is now moved, so you can enter it, use
it, and get down to the basement. Follow the path, and take the 2nd
door heading north, the door right before the metal sliding door. Follow
the stairs going up, and in the next room, pick up the pouch for a Gold
Nugget, then leave the room via southern exit, and pick up the two
chests there for an Aquasol DX, and Seal Ar. Go back down.
This time, go through the sliding door going east. You should
recognize this place, keep going east, the doors aren't locked anymore.
At the first intersection, go north, then go into the second and third
rooms. In one of them is a woman, talk to her twice. The other is Big
Joe, you mind as well save him.
Go back to the intersection, and this time go north, and follow the
path to an elevator, take it down. Take the path, and go into the first
door you come by, it's the Ethos databanks. Some very long dialog, and
it's somewhat important also. When you have control back, follow the
whole group into the north door.

You'll get to choose a new party, Citan's the mandatory person now.
Launch the Yggdrasil when you're ready, and head to the Thames, the
southwest dot on the map. Go to the bridge, and the captain will tell
you to go to the excavation site north of the Thames. Do so. By the way,
you didn't need to go to the Thames.
The excavation site is strait north of the Thames, there's a dot if
you talked to the captain. In the first area, just take the elevator
down. Just follow the path, through the guard, door, and elevator. In
this first area, go through the east door, the other two are duds.
Follow the path, until you get to a savepoint, use it if you want.
Go through the eastern door. At the intersection, go east, fight the
guard, then take the door southward, it's an elevator. Follow the path,
through the red room. Take the chest just west of you, it's a B&JM686A
Ammo, then go east and fight the guard. Keep with the path, beat up 2
more guards, skipping the door going south. In the next area, take the
  chest for a Sleep Guard.
Go back, and now take the door going south. Keep with the path,
skipping 2 side doors. Kill the guard at the end, and enter the door he
was guarding. Inside is a save point, and a chest with a Panalphasol in
it. Use the save point if you have to, then go back a room, and enter
  the door going north.
Follow the stairs, then examine the door at the end of the stairway.
Execute the scan, it'll tell you to go back and reset. Go back up the
stairs and then head west, and enter the first door you see, it should
be going northwest. Take the chest for a Black Snake, then hit examine
the terminal, and reset it. Go back to the stairs, and enter the door
  at the base now.
Follow the path to a room with 3 exits, 1 of which you came from.
Go through the door leading south, some dialog will show, then the door
will be opened. Go in. Before examining the test tube, check to see if

 Enemies
  (Zeboim Ruins)
Start backtracking, all the way back to the first save point, not the
one with the chest that had the Panalphasol. It's very important that
you save there. Make your way back to the bridge, and you'll fight Id.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Id(R): 90534/5, -
This is probably the hardest character-sized fight you'll have to go
through. Id is super fast, and hits really hard. Also note that his
attacks are very similar to Fei/Wiseman's. This is where Billy comes in.
Have him cast Holy Light practically every round. Citan should be
charging for a large combo, whilst still hitting him somewhat hard with
non-deathblow attacks. Have Elly attack also. If you have Rico, he won't
do much. You mind as well try to Wild Smile if you have Bart.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Leave the excavation site.
Fei's missing, you're suppose to find him. Go check Weltall's paddock
  in the gear hangers.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight

  Conjurer(G): 7500/550, -
  Traffic Jam<type 2>(G): 6000/1000, Ether Ar
The gear store has much improved equipment, you should really go
upgrade for the next area. Go to the last dot not visited yet, this is
Babel Tower. It's northwest of your current position.
This place looks humungous, but don't worry, just go inside.
In this first area, follow the thing your own till the end, then drop
down. Go into the tunnel thing. Go for a short bit, and grab the chest
for an Ether Ar. Now, fall down into the water. You'll end up at what
seems to be land. Head southward, and jump to the next platform via the
metal thing that forms a ramp. Go south again, and jump up to another
platform. There is a lowered section leading to the next platform, don't
take it yet. Stay on the platform, and get the chest with a Ether Veil
  Ar.
Now go onto the next platform. There's an easy to spot chest, pick it
up for a Lite Ar+1. Head east, and jump onto the next platform. Head
south, jump onto the next platform. Keep going, and you'll notice a long
chasm, and a rope. This works better if you change the camera angle so
that you and the rope are parallel. Jump, and grab the rope. Swing to
the other side, if you fail, try again.
In this next area, follow the path, you'll notice a beam that's on a
hinge. The moment you jump on the beam, it starts dipping downwards. If
you jump, the beam will come back up, after it goes down. Do so, and
when you land, it should be going up. When it is, run to the other side,
and jump on top of the next platform to get the chest with a Thunder Rod
  G. Fall down to the broken part of the tunnel. Go in the tunnel, and
head north. At the next opening, jump onto the chain, and you'll be led
  up to the next area.
You can't fall off, but you can jump back onto the chain. There's a
tiny door at the west end of the northern wall. You'll have to get off
your gears and enter it. Pick up the chest at the end of the room for a
  Gold Nugget.
Examine the sideways chair. After the sequence, leave the room, hop
on your gears, and drop down the western ledge. Examine the newly
arrived vertical train, and you'll enter it. Jump up the boxes, and to
a platform with 2 chests, pick them up for a Ether Ar and Beam Jammer.
Do as Fei suggests, and get off your gears and proceed to the upper
room via the handrails. Pick up the two chests in this area for a Gold
Nugget and Old Circuit. Jump up, and examine the eastern chair.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Boss Fight
  Miang's Gear(G): 0/0, -
  Wyvern(G): 23652/300, -
Big surprise, you can't hurt Miang, but she continually heals Ramsus,
so keep smacking Wyvern till it goes down, boosters would help.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can only enter 1 door, the southern one, do so after you save, if
you want. Keep following the path until a ditch. Drop in, pick up the
chest for a Ground, then hop off your gears, and enter the door on the
northern wall. Don't drop yet, go all the way north and pick up the
chest for a 02 Cylinder. Now drop down, there's 2 chests, one on each
side of the lower level, pick them up for an E Circuit and Gold Nugget.
Examine the keypads(?), the things right in front of the chairs. One
will open the locks, another will tell you communications are on. The
third one will show you the mirror being turned around, take a very
good note of this place, you'll come back later. Hope back up, using
  the chairs as leverage.
Get back into your gears, and use the pipes to get back up. Then, head
south into the next area. Just south of you is a chasm, fall into it. At
the bottom, go north a bit, and pick up the chests for a Wind Veil Ar
and Veil Doubler. Take the long path southward.
You'll arrive in a room with some kind of circular thing in the
center. Pick up both chests for an Ice Rod G, and Fire Veil Ar, then
exit through the south. Before going south some more, turn west, and
notice the bot, talk to it, and get some much needed refuels.
Continue going south on the western, lowered side of the area. Pick up
the chest under the bridge(?) for a Stone Rod G.
Go back north, and this time go to the upper part(eastern) of the
area. Head southward that way. At the end of the path, there's a green
thing, Traffic Jam. Jump on top of it, then fight it. After the fight,
it'll act as a moving platform.
Jump off where it no longer goes up. Head northward in this area,
being very careful not to fall. You'll have to jump at the edge of the
brown platform onto the lowered platforms. Here, keep going north.
Before fighting the Traffic Jam, get diagonally, northwest, and pick up
the chest. If that's too hard, use the Traffic Jam to get there, but
then you'll have to wait for it to come back down. The chest is a
G-M10S Ammo. Now go fight the Traffic Jam.
Jump off at the top, and go north. go a bit south, there's a chest
behind the rock slab, it's a Gold Bullion. Continue southward and beat
  up the next Traffic Jam.
You'll enter a new area, jump off at the top again. Follow the path
northward. Behind the next rock slab is another chest with a G-GG060
Ammo. Climb up the brown things, and at the very northwestern corner of
the area is a chest with a Flare Rod G. Drop down westward, and fight
  another Traffic Jam.
Jump off at the top. Jump to your south, and pick up the chest for a
Water Veil Ar. Climb all the way up east, then take a leap of faith
southward, and hope you land on the Traffic Jam. Use the Traffic Jam,
and make your way southward. Walk up to the pipes at the very end, and
  climb up.
New area. You'll probably want to save. Go southward just a bit.

You'll regain control in the docks. It's probably best to go west, and
talk to Maria, you'll learn about her past. At the main room, there are
two elevators. The big one to the sub-map of Shevat, and the southern
smaller elevator, those are the elevators here in Shevat, remember that,
that leads to the actual dock, Only Weltall is there right now.
When you're ready, take the elevator up to the sub-map. There are 3
noticeable features right now, The 2 red pyramids, and the statue of an
angel. Before going into the city, walk across the bridge thing that
the angel is facing, and examine the side of Shevat, you'll get a Dawn
  Rock.
Now go into the pyramid that leads to Aphel Aura. There are many
  things here in the city.
1)Chu-chu Store: Talk to chuchus if you want, I personally find them
repulsive. The one behind the counter sells you the best of items.
The gray chu under the balcony(?), will asks if everyone is nice on
the surface, tell him 'Not necessarily...', and (s)he'll give you a
2 Aquasol S's, and Aquasol DX. If you have all 3 badges, go talk to
the yellow chuchu with a cane, and he'll give you a Charger A, and a
Power Ring S for them. The other cane-carrying chuchu sells equipment,
he's on the balcony. Before going on, talk to the chuchu standing on
top of the lamp, you'll have to jump off the balcony to reach him.
1a)Aqua Paradise: Take the back stepping elevator in the Chuchu store.
Talk to the person here if you want. Take the western exit, the
eastern one leads to 2 people who tell you things about Shevat. In the
western side, talk to the old wo/man, and s/he'll teach you how to
fish. If you still have the spider web from Lahan, then you don't have
to buy one for 50G. Go back to the plaza, and jump on top of the
fountain and fish. If you talked to the chuchu atop the lamp, you
should get the Dark Rock from the fish.
2)Lone House: In one part of the city, there'll be a stepping stone that
leads to a house alone, there's a hole in the side of the house. Go
inside. In front of you is a doll on a table, examine it for the Dusk
Rock. Before going down the stepping stone, there's a doorway just
northwest of the stone, go in, and go down the elevator, one of the
guys here sells you some nice gear things.
3)Go back to the main entrance of the city, and take the stepping stone
that's under the arch down. Here, save if you want, then take the
stairs going down. Leave the building, and take the stepping stone
there. You should fix it and use it. After a long ride, you'll wind up
in a sealed room. Check the tables for a Power Crisis, Panalphasol,
Hob-Steak, Physimentsol, Samson's Hair, Yamato Belt, Hard Start, Speed
Star, ETH DRIVE, VIT Drive, STR Drive, ETHDEF Drive, HP Drive, EP
    Drive, and a Chuchu Idol.
If you want, you can explore the city. You'll ultimately want to go to
the lone house, the one with the hole, and go upstairs. There's a room
upstairs where the hole is, visit it. you can check the various items
there to get more story. Then, leave the house, and go back up the
stone. Go north, then west, and talk to the lone old man. Tell him that
  you're waiting for Maria.
Go back to the lone house, upstairs, and into the room with the hole.
Examine the horse. After the dialog, leave the city, and back to the
sub-map. Examine the angel statue, and go up to the palace. Before going
into the door, talk to the people around the place. This is a great
place to learn about the background of the world. You'll even see Yui
here. One of the rooms is also your guest room.
When all's ready, enter the main doorway. You'll see Wiseman and Maria
here, talk to them if you want. The two side doors don't lead to
anything yet, so keep going north. Talk to the Queen.
Go back to your guestroom, and take a nap.
In the morning, go talk to the queen. Tell her that you will help,
  not much other choice.

Maria is now a mandatory member, whoopee. About the only thing you can
do with her is to check out her gear and drool over it. Really though,
best use is to either use her spells, which she probably doesn't have
any yet, or have her use healing items, you won't miss the 6 max damage
  that she can do.
Leave the Royal Hallway, and a chuchu will approach you. It'll sell
you the same stuff as you could've gotten in Aphel Aura. You can go back
to your room to rest up and save.
Leave the palace, and go to the dock, you'll end up going into the
  emergency shaft.
At the first intersection, turn west, and pick up the chest for the

the exit at the end of that path, then go all the way down, and into the
  next area.
At the first intersection, go east to get the Queen's Rod. Go west,
  and go down the elevator.
In the next area, follow the path, and hit the first crystal that you
come by. Jump on the windmill that's right next to the crystal, to the

  at the end.
At the first intersection, follow the path south, keep going, ignoring
the next intersection. Pick up the Battle Apron at the end. Go back to
the second intersection that you came by, turn west, and take the first
door you see. Go up the stairs. Follow the path, each turn will get you

Economether. Go back, go east, then south and pick up the Whip-Lasher.
Go back to the intersection, and go all the way north, and take the
  elevator down.
Save if you want. Go east from the elevator. Follow the path to the
next windmill. Jump on, you'll have to go through 2 of them. Go down
the elevator on the next platform.
Follow the only path that's presented. At the intersection, west leads
to a save point, go south and go down the manhole.
The elevators aren't working, so take the door west. Keep going to the
  Seibzehn hanger.

You'll have to split your teams up. Here's the rundown of enemies:

You are not suppose to go around Shevat looking for Gaspar, if you do,
that's your loss. He already removed your limiters, you should now have
7 AP in battle, and enable the elemental deathblows for all your
  characters.

  Shakhan Monk(R): 1101/500, Rosesol
  Freelancer(R): 8700/500, Aquasol
A lot more places are opened for you to explore, including the islands
in the northwest, and southeast of the map. Look up to see what enemies
you fight there, that's all you can really do. The only thing to note is
the sluggers. You can get Speed Shoes from them, probably one of the
better accessories in the game. If you try to get it right now, it's
absurdly hard to actually get one from them, but they're somewhat common
compared to later in the game. However, later in the game, with the
trader's card, you're guaranteed to get one. The choice of trying to get
  one is up to you.
First off, go back to the Yggdrasil, it can now fly. Something import-
ant to note: you can go reverse while flying, hold down R2, then hold
triangle, and you'll go in reverse. Also, you have lost the ability to
  go on sand, and water.
With the new Yggdrasil III, you can go back to Nisan with ease, do so.
You'll have to fight your way in, just some Shakhan Guards. Your goal is
  to kill all the guards.
With control of Fei, Bart, and another, you can prepare. The item shop
has no clerk, but you can still pick up items/equipment.
When ready, leave via the northeastern exit, the one across the
bridge. From there, travel along the path, and talk to Margie. Take the
stairs all the way down, and a sequence will happen.
Let Margie open it, otherwise, look around the metal thing for a panel
to come down. Go on inside. More fights.
When you have control again, take the elevator directly north of the
entrance. Follow the path presented, and into the door. After the
sequence, go north again. At the first intersection, go west, and into
the door. It's kind of hard to see, but there's a chest next to the save
point, pick it up for a Desert Worm, then save if you want. Go up and
check one of the monitors, just some dialog.
Take the northern exit out of the red room. Follow the path, and turn
east, then go up the elevator. In the next area, go west, and turn
northwest at the intersection. Go in the door at the end. In the next
area, go forward, skip the first and second doors that you come by, and
enter the third door. Go all the way to the end of the hallway and pick
up the chest for a Deathblower1. Go back, and into the second door.
Follow the hallway, and enter the first door you come by, it should
be facing northwest. Save if you'd like, then check the eye-scanner
thing in the center of the room. Exit the room, and enter the next door
in the hallway. This one should lead southeast. You're now in an large
room. Make your way to the large opening that's facing southwest, and
  enter it.
When the dialog is over walk forward, and examine the plaque. After
even more dialog, go all the way back to the control room, the red room.
Now go examine the monitors. Things were going too good anyways....
Run all the way back to the jaspar lock, you'll have to fight guards
along the way. You'll be captured along the way. When you regained
control, you can save again, but go into the central area, where the
  omnigear was.

 Boss Battle
  Neo Etone(G): 15255/5000, Seal Barrier (x2)

  Shakhan(G): 218343/30000, Ether Ar+1
Grahf...This is one of the harder gear battles. When he's countering
your attacks with healing, only attack with Bart and Maria, they can do
over 1000 damage, otherwise, his HP will be going up, rather than down.
Just keep hitting him at first, he doesn't counter yet, and he can't
hit you back quite yet, but when he disconnects, it'll hurt.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Leave the cave.

You can change G2 around, get your best gears, Bart, and Maria.
With G1, follow the path to a pit. Drop down, get off your gears, and
  enter the small door.

 Boss Fight
  Bladegash<Dominia>(G): 25512/5000, EP Drive
  Marinebasher<Kelvena>(G): 25512/5000, ETHDEF Drive
Take out the Marinebasher first, it's weak against fire, so use
Elly's Ether Machine. Afterwards, just concentrate on Bladegash.

  Death Scythe(G): 30321/0, Fang
  Aragonite(G): 14888/3000, -
  Salvager(G): 7200/0, -; don't attack these guys
Head to the Thames, you can't land in the water, so fly low. Go to the
bridge and speak with the captain. Go down to B1F, and buy some new
gear, it's better than what you have, that or check the Yggdrasil Gear
store, it's selling the same thing now.
Go back to the Yggdrasil and talk to Sigurd and tell him that you're
  ready to go to Sargasso.
You can turn back to go back to the Yggdrasil. The best way to swim is
to keep jumping rather than walking. go forward, and at the first inter-
section, go right. Follow this path. At the next intersection, go right
again. Follow that path, and it looks like a dead end, but jump upwards.
Here, collect the chest for a Mermaid Mail, and save.
Go back to the intersection, and go left. Follow that path. In the
next area, there's a fast moving current. Try to get to the other side
while the current isn't pushing. Best way is to keep pushing jump.
Follow the path until you're in a cavern. Pick up a Dark Rod in one
chest, the other is empty. Go back to the current, and this time, take
a right, the side where the current use to be. Follow the tunnel, and
eventually, you'll be pushed by a current. When you're stopped, go
  forward.
Pick up the chest here for a Deathblower2, then enter the door.

 Boss Battle
  Crescens(G): 253260/10000, -
Don't skimp out just because of the music, give it all you got. This
shouldn't be too hard of a battle. You'll probably want to boost up,
Crescens is a very fast gear.

Chapter XLVI-Into Solaris
 Party: Fei, Elly, Citan
 Stuff to get:
  Work Permit
  Aquasol DX
  Tickets
 Enemies:
  (Solaris)
  Security Cube(R): 1500/1000, -
When you're ready, go back to the Queen's room, and tell Citan that
you are ready. Once you're in Solaris, there's no backing out.
Walk left a bit, then walk between the 2 pods shown. Fei'll get sucked
away. Leave the pod, and some dialog will show. Explore the area a bit.
One thing to note, 12-3-6, go there, you'll meet Samson. Next go to
10-4-1, Elly's there. After getting Elly, go back to 12-3-6, and talk to
Samson, he'll give you the work permit.
Go to the watchtower, and talk to the guard, he'll let you in now.
Take the path. Don't go on the first elevator, and keep going. Take the
second elevator. On the next floor, go northeast and into the door.
This whole floor is very annoying. Don't be in the same line of sight
as the triangle things, even if their back is facing you. Make your way
to the southwest side of the area. There's another door here, take it,
and go up the elevator. Go northeast a bit, then take the elevator back
down. Pick up the chest for an Aquasol DX. Go back up the elevator.
Take the northeast path out of this area. Go onto the next area after
crossing the ID checker. Here, there's another checker, go by it and
into the door. You're now in Etrenank(?).
Things to note are: Equipment/Item Shops, some nice equipment if you
have the money. One of the entrances is a hotel(?). If you take the
elevator up, and then the southeast door, there'll be a person with a
bad back who'll give you their tickets. you need them. After getting the
tickets, go to the ceremony, the entrance is south of the hotel. The
guard in black is in front.

Chapter XLVII-Escape Solaris
 Party: Fei, Elly
 Stuff to get:
  Aquasol DX
  Feathered Cap
  Psycho Rod
 Enemies
  (Solaris)
When you regain control, walk forward, west. Skip the first bridge,
but take the second. Continue westward. Climb the ladder, and keep
going. Take the next bridge that you come by. Here, try to walk on the
small rods, if you don't, take the ladder back up, then keep going.
Take the south side of the water and keep going. At the next bridge,
take it, then turn around, go back east, and pick up the Aquasol DX.
Afterwards, keep going. At the next ditch, you'll have to balance
across the rods. At the next bridge, cross, and turn back east for a
Feathered Cap, then turn back west, and keep going. You'll reach a
ladder at the end, use it to climb up.
Walk just a bit southwest, and up to the gates of the house. Go on
  into the house.
After some scenes, leave Elly's room. First, go to the northeast room
on the lower level of the house. Talk to the lady in there for a Psycho
Rod. The other room on the lower side is just Elly's mother, go there
and talk to her if you want.
You'll ultimately want to go to the mid-elevated door going northwest.
If you haven't talked to Medena yet, you'll have to before you can
enter. Examine the main desk in the room.

Chapter XLVIII-Lone Wolf
 Party: Fei
 Stuff to get:
  Army Cardkey
  Hob-Steak (x2)
  Aquasol DX
  Gold Nugget
  Gold Bullion
 Enemies
  (Solaris Dust Chutes)
  Security Cube(R): 1500/1000, -
  Solaris Guard(R): 2400/500, -
You can't do much in Etrenank anymore, you don't understand a thing,
except for Big Joe in the hotel.
Make your way back to the building that you entered the city from, the
store(?) that you came form after all the ID check stations. You'll meet
up with Citan here as you try to leave.
With Citan back, you can again talk to the people of the city, but
  it's pretty useless.
Try to make your way back to the 3rd class area, through the same way
you came in. Between blocks 11 and 12, there's a dust chute, go in.
There's a tunnel, you can't go in yet though. Exmaine the green flashing
  panel to your east.
Now, in some kind of crazy flashback, leave Elly's room, and you'll
  get the Army Cardkey.
With the card, check the green panel. Go up, and northwest, then into
the door. Climb all the stairs, and enter the door at the top. In this
next area, there's a huge fan in the center. Don't touch it, it'll hurt
you. Push the peice of metal on the west into the fan.
Before dropping down, turn the camera angle so that you can see a
ladder and a doorway under where the fan use to be, it's on the north-
west side of the pit. Drop down, and try to get onto the ladder, then
just enter the door. If you fail, try again.
At the first intersection, go southeast for a Hob-Steak, then north-
east amd into the door. Go northeast a bit, and before going down the
stairs, jump northwest, over the boxes, and pick up the Aquasol DX.
Drop then, then go through the northwest door. After the sequence, move
  on to the next area.
Take the ladder to your west. Go all the way to the other side, then
turn northeast, and pick up the chest for another Hob-Steak, then enter
the door. Examine the control panel on the northeast. First off, hit
Input Code, then just end inputting, a chest with a Gold Nugget will
  drop.
I'm not sure how this thing works, but here's a crude estimate. When
There are 4 blocks on the top line. If you hit 1, the first block will
either disappear, or appear. When there is no block, the value is '1'.
When there is a block, the value is '0'. Make all the blocks disappear,
or 1111, and a Gold Bullion will drop down. 0101 is the thing you're
  looking for though.
After shutting off the scanner go back the the previous room. Run onto
the westmost conveyor belt, and head northeast on it. Get off at the
next ramp and head into the northwestern door.

Neo Wels(R): 6338/125, -; Try to kill them ASAP, they kamikaze
Bloody Bros(R): 25701/3000, -; they can kill you with 1 attack
Yes, those are humans. Head southwest, and pick up the chest for a
Zetasol. Head all the way southeast, then turn southwest and pick up
the chest for a Gold Nugget, then leave the area via the southern exit.
Save if you want, then enter the smaller door.
Take the elevator up, then follow the path to a room with a spiral
stairway. The only doorway you can use is the northeast one, so go into
that one. Follow the path, and turn southeast. Enter the door, and pick
up an Aquasol DX at the end of the room.
Go back and continue northeast. The next door has a save point, and a
Survival Tent. You can also learn about memory cubes if you check one of
the panels. Go back and continue northeast, and into the door. Follow
the darkened path, and examine the button in the center. Follow the
path out of the room. Follow the next path, and into the door.
Here, you'll see a lot of people in cages. In these rooms, you can
open the cages with the buttons next to it. You'll have to fight a
monster for the chest though. After finishing each room, head onto the
  next.
Cage 1: Hob Meat; Neo-Wels (x4)-Kamikaze for about 300 damage each
Cage 2: Muscle Belt; Orphan-sucks EP, lots of HP
Cage 3: Scales; Neo Wels (x4)
Cage 4: Angelic Robe; Dorothy-Heal her
Cage 5: Eyeball; Neo Wels (x4)
   Cage 6: Hob-Steak; Neo Wels(x4)
I think the enemies might be different each time, not sure.
After the second room, head into the next area. Turn southwest at
first chance. Take the smaller door here for an Extra Ar+6, and the
bigger door for an Eyeball. Go back and continue the main hallway. The
next stop has a Gold Nugget and Hob-Meat.
Go back to the main path. Follow it, and enter the first door you come
by, it's going southeast. Pick up the Aquasol DX and check the southern
panels to shut off the security lock. Go back to the main path, and
follow it northeast and into the door. Your back in the spiral stairway
room. Now, go up the stairway, and follow the path into the door,
picking up the Aquasol DX and Survival Tent.
At the intersection, continue southeast and into the door. There's a
chest to your side with a Silver Ar+1. Continue southeast and into the
door. Again, into another door. Don't miss the chest in the southern
  corner, it's another Aquasol DX.
Go into the northeastern door, into another cage room. Before
attempting to trek through numerous monsters, make sure you're healed.
One of these is 2 Bloody Bros. The 2 chests in the cage hold a Death-
  hlower3, and an Ether Veiler.
Go back southwest, and into the other door. Save before you go on if
you wish. Just keep following the path presented.
At the next intersection, go southwest. Turn southwest when you get
the chance, and enter the door. There's a Dark Helm in this room. The
audio password can also be found here, but you have this FAQ. Go back
to the main path and enter the next door. A Dark Armor can be found
in this room. Go back to the main path, and enter the last door. There's
a chest with a B&JM686S Ammo in this room.
Go back to the intersection, and go the northeast path. At the door,
input up, down, up, left, right, then enter the door.
Turn southwest, and follow the path. Enter the first door you come by.
Follow the path upwards, and pick up the chest for a Survival Tent. Go
all the way up, and into the door at the top. Go northwest, and pick up
the Extra Ar DX. Head southeast, and into the second door you come by,
skipping the one you came out of. Follow the path downwards and pick up
the Extra Ar+6. Go all the way down, and into the door. Head southeast,
and into the next door. Follow this path up, picking up the Silver Ar+1,
and into the door at the top. Head southeast.
At the intersection, head southwest, and into the door. Take the chest
on the other side of the room for a Sonic Wave. Go back, and head south-
east. Take the next door for another Silver Ar+1. The door after that
has a Gold Nugget. Go back and follow the main path again. At first
chance, turn southeast and into the door. Take the chest for a Speed
Ring S. You can check out the holograms of yourself if you want. Go
back to the main path, and follow it into the next big door.
Last person I expected... Anyways, enter the only door you can, to
  your southeast.

Chapter L-Tears for Fears
 Party: Fe
