\\\Author's Notes///
--------------------

With the recent release of Megaman X Collection, I looked back at Megaman X5,
and saw there were no strictly boss guides for it. So I went and pulled out the
old Megaman X5 disc for Playstation and put 'em in my PS2. I thoroughly pulled
out some good techniques for each armor for Megaman X and Zero for every boss.
I hope this helps the new players, and maybe teach the old ones a trick or two.
Really, this is INCREDIBLY in-depth for the most part.

The attack names most bosses have I created myself, just because I needed
something to call them. If you want to call them that too, knock yourself out.

Just remember, even though you get the Gaea Armor later, it makes lots of
fights ridiculously easy, so use it! I also included the directly translated
names for the eight Mavericks, since the Gun's and Roses based North American
ones bother some people (personally, it bothered me at first but they aren't
that bad, so whateva).

First though, we'll go through the weapons and armors in this game because they
influence how you fight the bosses so much. Also, fight the Mavericks in your
own order if you'd like, there is no particular boss you should start with
(although, personally, Dark Dizzy is probably best to do first because his chip
parts are terrible).

\\\Megaman X's Weapons///
-------------------------

A list of Megaman's weapons and their effectivness.

(C-Shot) : Cresent Shot shoots out cresent shaped blades out in three random
directions, forwards, upwards angle and downwards angle. When charged, cresents
shield Megaman and do extremely high damage and protects him from physical
attacks.

Main: 3/5
Charged: 5/5

(Tri-Thunder) : Fires out electricity forward, directly above and below. When
the electricity hits a wall or floor a bolt is produced and it trails along for
a bit. When charged, a lightning strike strikes down through him, then five
times randomly around the screen.

Main: 3/5
Charged: 1/5

(F-Laser) : Firefly Laser is a remotely controled weapon, that is moved with
the D-Pad/Control Stick when it is out. Megaman X cannot move when its in use.
When charged, it shoots a very powerful laser that rapidly damage most enemies
and has incredible range.

Main: 2/5
Charged: 5/5

(Goo Shaver) : Shoots ice that runs along the ground and down platforms. When
charged, several blocks are generated and thrown into the air to the left and
right of Megaman X.

Main: 4/5
Charged: 2/5

(Wing Spiral) : Releases a tornado upwards by doing an uppercut. Can be moved
left or right a bit if used when holding left or right on D-Pad/Joystick. When
charged, a tornado is released going forwards, getting larger as it progresses
and has a peircing effect to it.

Main: 1/5
Charged: 4/5

(Spike Ball) : Sets a ball of thorned ropes a short distance ahead, and it'll
float there momentarilly. It does a lot of damage but is short ranged. When
charged, a purple ball of thorns bounces around the screen, fire going up-right
from wherever you shot it.

Main: 5/5
Charged: 1/5

(Dark Hold) : Freezes time for as long as it is in use. Works on almost all
normal enemies and terrain (lasers, spike platforms, etc.) but only works on
one boss. When charged, it's effects are the same.

Main: 4/5
ChargeD: 4/5

(Ground Fire) : Drops a small ember onto the ground that erupts into a large
ball of fire, then shoots out three embers in random directions. When charged,
it releases a stream of fire on both side of Megaman X.

Main: 3/5
Charged: 2/5

-----------------------
\\\Zero's Techniques///
-----------------------

A list of Zero's techniques and their effectiveness.

(C-Sword) : Changes Zero's jump attack into a spinning jump attack. Zero will
attack on all sides and create a cresent while doing so. Very powerful and
effective against almost all enemies and bosses. Also allows Zero to double
jump.

Buttons: Attack in the air.
Rating: 5/5

(E-Blade) : Zero will slash upwards with his Z-Saber charged by electricity.
Bolts drop down as well when he is preforming this move.

Buttons: Hold up on the D-Pad/Joystick + attack.
Rating: 1/5

(C-Flasher) : A very powerful attack that covers the whole screen with energy
blasts. Zero is invincible when this move is being carried out. This move
restores energy whenever Zero picks up life energy or gets hit.

Buttons: Giga Attack button or select C-Flasher and hit Special Weapon.
Rating: 5/5

(F-Splasher) : Allows Zero to do damage when he air-dashes. Also extends how
far he can air-dash and holding up or down when air-dashing allows him to move
slightly up or down while doing so. He can be invincible to some attacks while
air-dashing.

Buttons: Dash in the air.
Rating: 4/5

(W-Shredder) : Wind Shredder sends out a shadow to attack from a range while
dashing. Zero instantly stops when the shadow is sent out and cannot move until
he is hit or until the shadow disappears.

Buttons: Attack while dashing.
Rating: 2/5

(Twin Dream) : Zero's equivalent of Soul Body from Megaman X4. Sends out a soul
of Zero in front of him, extending the range of his attacks, but doesn't get
hurt if it runs into enemies or spikes. When Zero is hit the soul disappears.

Buttons: Select Twin Dream and hit Special Weapon.
Rating: 4/5

(Dark Hold) : Freezes time for as long as it is in use. Works on almost all
normal enemies and terrain (lasers, spike platforms, etc.) but only works on
one boss.

Buttons: Select Dark Hold and hit Special Weapon.
Rating: 4/5

(Quake Blazer) : Zero will thrust his Z-Saber downwards, enveloping it in
flames. This does good damage and you can move left and right slightly while it
is being preforming. When you hit the ground it leaves a small explosion, but
it seems that does no damage.

Buttons: Press Down on the D-Pad/Joystick and hit Attack while jumping.
Rating: 3/5

\\\Megaman X's Armors///
------------------------

===Force Armor===

If you choose Megaman X in the beginning, you'll get the Force armor (Also
known as Fourth armor, but Force sounds sweeter so I call it that :P), which is
about 1000 times better than choosing Zero for Z-Buster. Anyhow, its a powered
down version from the armor in Megaman X4 (my personal favourite Megaman game).
It can no longer let you use regular weapons infinitely, cannot equip the Stock
Shot and no longer has the Nova Strike, but it's parts do have:

Head: No effect.
Body: 50% damage reduction.
Arm: Plasma Shot, Weapon charge.
Legs: Hover, Air Dash.
Slots: 2

The Plasma Shot can only be used by Force and Ultimate Armors. When it is
fired, it shoots a large, blue, plasma projectile that leaves damaging plasma
orbs behind when it hits an target. The plasma orbs do extra damage, but
unfortunately all bosses in this game are immune to it (In X4 it did extra
damage to bosses).

The Force Armor is a very powerful armor, even in its downgraded self. Being
one of the two armors that can charge up weapons, it becomes extremely powerful
when equipped with C-Shot, F-Laser or Wing Spiral. You can hover in one spot
for a long time too, but if you move you will fall in about two seconds. In
addition, it can Air Dash, which is actually very useful, and a shame Gaea and
Falcon Armors cannot use it.

===Falcon Armor===

Once you find all four parts of this armor from the Enigma parts stages, you'll
complete the Falcon Armor. Designed for mobility, it's most noteable ability is
that it can fly, but not Air Dash for some reason. It's parts have the
following abilities:

Head: Increases special weapon energy.
Body: Reduces damage by 50% and stores energy for Giga Attack.
Arms: Piercing Shot, ability to use special weapons.
Legs: Activates jet boosters to allow flying.
Slots: 2

The Piercing Shot is a weak attack compared to the other charged shots, but has
the ability to pierce through walls and enemies. It fires a thin, needle-like
shot, which makes it hard to hit enemies, but can plow through the whole screen.

The Giga Attack makes Megaman X invincible for its duration, and covers the
whole screen with Piercing Shots going up and down. Can hit bosses multiple
times, often for huge damage, and can generally clear the whole screen of
smaller enemies.

The leg part allows X to fly. When he is flying, he is invincible and takes no
damage from physical attacks, but ranged/energy attacks still hurt him. He can
also fly into normal enemies to hurt them. Equipping the Speedster part onto
Falcon X allows him to fly faster too!

===Gaea Armor===

Once you find all four parts of this armor from the Shuttle parts stages,
you'll complete the Gaea Armor. Designed for high defense and terrain
exploration, it can walk on spikes. However, it is slow moving and cannot use
any special weapons! It's parts have the following abilities:

Head: Contains preinstalled chip data.
Body: Reduces damage by 75% and stores energy for the Giga Attack.
Arms: Gaea Shot.
Legs: Allows walking on spikes, sticks to walls, a powerful dash.
Slots: 0

The Gaea Shot is a medium ranged attack that doesn't cover the whole screen. It
deals high damage and can break any black blocks found in the stage. Enhanced
by the power of the Head part, it has Quick Charge and Shot Eraser added onto
it permanently, both of which are extremely useful. However, only one Gaea Shot
can be fired at a time, and the uncharged version is pretty crappy. However,
with about a 1 second charge time, that won't be a problem, will it?

The Giga Attack allows Megaman X to store energy in his hands and release it in
one place, directly in front of him. It is extremely close ranged and does
rapid damage. X is also invulnerable during its effect. It is the only other
weapon the Gaea Armor has to offer.

The Legs allow X to push black blocks with a Dash, and can stick to walls so he
doesn't slide down, which is really neat and useful. However, its most powerful
ability is to be able to walk and climb on spikes without taking any damage.
You'll need this if you are to go into some areas (a few heart tanks can only
be collected by Gaea Armor's spikewalking ability).

Don't let the lack of weapons, slower movement and no chip slots scare you away
from this armor! It comes with preinstalled chip data, and it's Gaea Shot and
Giga Attack are more than enough for enemies! Its slower movement takes a bit
of adjusting to, but can be manuvered nicely.

===Ultimate Armor===

You can pick this up in the beginning instead of Force Armor using a code, or
you can get this armor legit by grabbing it with unarmored X in Zero Virus
Stage 3 (thus getting both Force and Ultimate armors). It has the same effects
of Force Armor, except it can use the Nova Strike, and unlimited use of it too!
It's parts have the following abilities:

Head: No effect.
Body: Reduces damage by 50% and allows unlimited use of Nova Strike.
Arms: Plasma Shot and weapon charge.
Legs: Hover and Air Dash.

For most bosses, the Nova Strike will tear them to shreds in no time. If your
using this armor, its like playing on Easy EASY Mode of Megaman X5. I only give
help for this armor (not like you'll need it, but for completions sake) after
Zero Virus stage 3, when you can legitly grab it.

------------------------
\\\Zero's Black Armor///
------------------------

Using either a code in the beginning or picking it up in Zero Virus Stage 3,
you can grab Zero's Black Armor. It just permanently adds certain chip parts to
Zero, which are:

-Energy Saver
-Master Saber
-Shot Eraser

That's about it, other than the new look.

=================================Boss Guide===================================

========================Training Room - Magma Dragoon=========================

Weakness: X-Buster / Z-Saber

Movement Pattern: Jumps from side to side.

Attacks:

-Hadoken: Fires a fireball. Duck under the high one, jump over the lower.
-Shoryuken: A flaming uppercut. Dash away to avoid.
-Jump Kick: A downward kick in mid-air. Dash to avoid.

Easy training room boss, just use Charged Shots and Triple Combo him. He will
be defeated quickly.

=============================Intro Stage - Sigma==============================

Weakness: X-Buster / Z-Saber

Attacks:

-Spreader: He shoots many energy balls at you. Just duck and attack him at this
point.
-Tracker Ball: He shoots to energy balls out of his eyes that stop in front of
him, then move to your current position. Just try to dash jump of the wall to
avoid. He often uses Rush or Wide Laser as follow-up attacks after this.
-Rush: He'll try to ram you. It doesn't work very well because he stops when he
gets near the left wall.
-Wide Laser: Sigma will make a "SCHWING" shoot a giant laser. Duck to avoid it.

Force X (easy): Simply use Plasma shots on him whenever his mouth is open to do
damage.

Zero (easy): Simply slash him up close when he is near you with his mouth open.
Z-Saber does more damage than X-Buster on this boss.

================Weapons Train - Grizzly Slash (Cresent Grizzly)===============

Weakness: Spike Ball / W-Shredder

Movement Pattern: Jumps between the three raised platforms in the room.

Attacks:

-C-Shot: He'll shoot three cresent shaped blades out in a forward, low angle
diagonal up, high angle diagonal up motion. Jump into one of the two lower
platforms to avoid this.
-Drill Dive: After losing roughly half his life he'll start using this. Cresent
Grizzly will jump up offscreen, then dive down wherever your currently
standing. Dash to avoid. This starts up a new attack pattern.
-Drill Stab: If your standing on the two lower platforms, he'll poke his head
out and attempt to stab you with his drill arm. Jump when he comes onto a
raised platform and slash his arm to do damage.
-Surprise Slash: If your on one of the three higher platforms, Grizzly will
appear behind you and try to slash you. Dash-jump away to avoid this.
-C-Slash: When his life is low he'll use this. Grizzly will send out two large,
cresent shaped blades at you, one lower and one higher. Jump over the lower
one, and duck in the lower platform to avoid the higher.

Force X (easy): Plasma shots work better than Spike Ball here. Just wail on him
with charged Plasma shots until he uses Drill Dive. Avoid it, then stand on the
lower platforms. When he comes up to try and Drill Stab you, jump and shoot him
with a charged shot. Repeat until he comes back on land to use C-Slash on you.
Finish him off.

Falcon X (medium): Your Piercing Shot isn't all that great on him. If you have
Buster +1 chip part, use it and fire normal shots instead of Piercing Shots. If
you have Spike Ball, use it, the delay is higher but it works better than
Piercing Shots. There is a little secret to Spike Ball though, when Grizzly is
in his Drill Stab/Surprise Slash mode, stand on one of the two lower platforms.
When he pops out to use Drill Stab, jump away and use Spike Ball, you'll hurt
him for critical damage but with a very, very short delay. You can land 2 Spike
Balls easy here, and you can use this technique for Force/Ultimate X too. Your
flying protects you from everything except C-Shot and C-Slash, so use it.

Gaea X (easy): Spike Ball sucks on Cresent Grizzly for the most part anyway, so
use your Gaea Shots! Spam him with Gaea Shots and use your Giga Attack when he
is trying to use C-Shot on you. When he does Drill Dive dash to avoid, and wait
for him to come up on the bottom two platforms. Jump when he appears and wail
on him with Gaea Shots. Too easy.

Zero (easy): Use Twin Dream if you have it on him, it works pretty well. If you
wait until he is in Drill Stab/Surprise Slash mode, use Twin Dream, you can
score two hits easy in one round with it. Otherwise, regular triple combo to
drive him into Drill Dive. Stand on the two lower platforms to force him into
using Drill Stab, then jump onto a raised platform and slash his drill arm with
crouched Z-Saber attack (or Quake Blazer if you have it). The rest should be
smooth sailing. C-Sword has no effect on him unfortunately.

===============Electrical Powerplant - Squid Adler (Bolt Kraken)==============

Weakness: Goo Shaver / F-Splasher

Movement Pattern: All around the room, but usually towards you. One of the few
bosses who realizes that if he rams you you'll take damage.

Attacks:

-Tri-Thunder: He shoots a lightning bolt forward, up and down. When they hit a
wall a bolt trails through it. Hard to dodge.
-Ground Shock: He goes near the ground and electricutes it. Jump to a wall to
stay safe.
-Block: He creates either a block or an electrecuted block in the room. You can
stand on the regular one, but the electric one hurts you (seems kind of
obvious).
-Lightning Barrage: He'll cover up one side of the wall and shoot several
lightning balls at you, each with the trail effect Tri-Thunder has. Simply duck
to avoid the strike, then jump over any lightning balls that might trail
towards you.
-Ground Barrage: Adler floats down to the bottom of the screen, covers the
floor with his tentacles and shoots several lightning bolts upwards. Use the
block (if present) for safety, or jump to a safe wall.

Force X (easy): Goo Shaver breaks him down easy, so use it when he is below you
and Plasma Shots when he is eye level. Charging up Goo Shaver takes off a nice
chunk of his life, so use it. Ground Fire also works nicely here. Hover makes
his Tri-Thunder very easy to dodge, you can just hover away from a wall so you
aren't touching a floor or wall and you'll be fine!

Falcon X (easy): Goo Shaver works really well on him, doing good damage with a
lower delay attached to it. Spam Goo Shaver, using the blocks he creates to
make Goo Shaver land right down on him. Your flight protects you from none of
his attacks, but you can use it to dodge Ground Barrage and Tri-Thunder easier.

Gaea X (medium): Your Giga Attack is very useful here, considering he likes to
run into you. Use your Gaea Shots to do more damage to him than he can to you.
Hopefully it'll be over quickly.

Zero (easy): If you have C-Flasher, use it, it does a ton of damage on him.
C-Sword, like always, does good damage. F-Splasher is kind of risky, but if you
start it close enough, you'll go right through him to safety.

===============Castle Labratory - Izzy Glow (Shining Firefly)=================

Mini Boss: Triple Lasers

Weakness: Tri-Thunder / E-Blade

Annoying mini boss. Three laser machines will spin down from the ceiling, stop
at a certain point and shoot lasers at you. Only attack the black on, because
its the only one that can be hard. Then rush to a safe spot. Lasers only go
forwards. Just be careful if your standing on a laser, when they start spinning
you'll take damage. Tri-Thunder works wonders here, but E-Blade is somewhat
risky to use here.

Boss: Izzy Glow (Shining Firefly)

Weakness: Tri-Thunder / E-Blade

Movement Pattern: All around the room, disappearing and reappearing at will.

Attacks:

-Firefly Laser: He'll stand still and send out a missile that uses laser
technology. He can control it to follow you, and the light it leaves behind can
hurt you too. It moves faster as his life gets lower. You can avoid or destroy
it.
-Horizontal Laser: He'll move to one side of the room and shoot a laser
horizontally. Duck to avoid it.
-Vertical Laser: He'll move to the top of the room and go from one side to the
other, shooting a laser straight down. Only way you can avoid it is if you get
behind him before he fires the laser, after he fires its too late to avoid.
-Power Balls: He'll lay a row of balls along the floor then go to the other
side of the room and call them back to him. To avoid it, you gotta dash through
at the right time.

Force X (easy): Use Plasma Shots to do the bulk of damage, and Tri-Thunder to
interuppt his attacks. Your Hover makes it easy to attack him and dodge, so use
it.

Falcon X (medium): Keep hitting him with Tri-Thunder, whenever he gets hit
he'll most likely try to use Firefly Laser or another laser attack. Don't even
need to aim really, you can just shoot in his direction and the bolt will most
likely get him.

Gaea X (medium): Duck under his attacks but keep firing Gaea Shots at all
times. Use your Giga Attack you become invulnerable incase you get trapped by
Veritcal Laser.

Zero (easy): E-Blade is risky to use here, because when it hits him he'll fall
right down onto you. Instead, use C-Sword and just keep spamming him with it
until he dies. Since he moves with a left and right movement almost all the
time, F-Splasher is a great way to damage him, although a bit weaker. Even with
E-Blade's riskiness, you can hit him with it easily if you use it when he has
Firefly Laser tracking you down, so you can position yourself to hit him but be
okay yourself. If you run in with full life you can take the hits and just keep
dishing it out.

====================Deep Sea - Duff McWhalen (Tidal Whale)====================

Mini Boss: U-555 Submarine - Head:

You can only damage it if you hit the laser. Using a charged up F-Laser does so
much damage on this guy its crazy nuts. Zero is even easier, just stand right
beside him and triple slash, you'll damage him and not be in harms way. Simply
destroy the little fish robots he summons.

Mini Boss: U-555 Sumbarine - Tail:

You can use F-Laser charged up to beat this boss easy, but if you don't have
the right armor or the ability, use charged shots. Falcon X's peircing shot
does well here. Zero can use C-Flasher to break all the little cannons if he is
getting spammed with missiles, and jump attacks break the top easy. Use triple
combos for the bottom half.

Mini Boss: U-555 Submarine - Body:

Body is actually kind of hard. Hit the blue jewel is order to break the core's
shield, then attack the core. Use C-Flasher if your getting spamming with
cannon attacks to clear the whole screen. Triple Combos work best here because
they can take out the jewel and the cannons. For X, like usual, a charged
F-Laser is more than enough to defeat the enemy.

Boss: Duff McWhalen (Tidal Whale)

Weakness: C-Shot / C-Sword

Movement Pattern: Mostly up and down the spiked wall, but he can move to the
other side of the screen when his life gets low.

Attacks:

-Ice Pattern: He'll make a row of ice to push you back. You can step on this
ice, it doesn't hurt you. Run up to him while on it and attack!
-Goo Shaver: Once his Ice Pattern is complete, he'll send out several Goo
Shavers into the air, and they'll fall on the ice, going down walls and across
floors. Hover or fly in the air to avoid, or jump to a safe spot of you can see
it (remember: Goo Shavers can't go up walls).
-Vacuum: After Goo Shaver he'll inhale the ice blocks back... but the pattern
will be different this time. Run away from him and through the patterns.
-SCUD Missile: He'll release several homing missiles at you (not at the same
time, one after another). You can destroy them, he does this attack while
sucking the ice blocks back to him.
-Ice Rush: He'll swim to the other side of the screen and use this. Basically
he spits rows of ice quickly at you, in hopes they'll push you back into the
spikes. The further away you are from him, the easier this is to dodge, but he
never lets up so stay close to him and just keep ganking him with
C-Shot/C-Sword.

Force X (easy): Charged up shots work well, but Charged up C-Shot makes this
fight so easy... charge it up, stand right next to him and just hover or stand
by him, it'll slash him up good. Keep going as he moves to the left side of the
room and starts using Ice Rush.

Falcon X (medium): C-Shot's unpredictable movement pattern works against you,
so instead use a combination of C-Shot and Piercing Shots. Let him make his Ice
Pattern but shoot him with Piercing Shots through the ice. When he stops and
uses Goo Shaver, jump in close and use C-Shot. Repeat until he starts moving to
the left side of the screen, spam C-Shot on him as he moves. When he gets to
the other side, you move all the way to the right, just beside the spikes.
It'll be easier to dodge his Ice Rush attack this way, so intercept and dodge
his Ice Rush while shooting Piercing Shots. He should be down soon enough.

Gaea X (medium): Well, the spikes on the back won't hurt you, but you cannot
interuppt his Ice Pattern and the attacks the follow it. Use your Quick Charged
Gaea shots to dispatch him, and use your Giga Attack when he stops the Ice
Pattern and prepares Goo Shaver. Its hard to dodge Goo Shaver but you can jump
to the safety of the spikes if needed. You will take damage from Ice Rush
easier, but you won't die instantly from the spikes. Stay low to the ground
during part two.

Zero (easy): Same as X but use C-Sword instead of C-Shot. If you don't have
C-Sword, Triple Combos work great in the first stage and the second stage is
better with jumping attack.

================Air Force Base - The Skiver (Spiral Pegasus)==================

Weakness: Dark Hold

Movement Pattern: Flies around in straight lines, but can move anywhere.

Attacks:

-Dive: Skiver will attempt to dash into you. If he hits you, not only will you
take damage, but you will fly back FAR. You can easily fall off the edge of the
platform to your death, which is the whole idea. Stay near the center of the
platform and jump over his dives (his wings don't hurt you) to prevent getting
thrown off the plane.
-Wind Shredder: He'll stay in place and send out a blue silouette of himself at
you, doing damage. Dash away to avoid.
-Crash: He'll fly in the sky, offscreen, the dash at you from either the top
left or right corner, the bottom of the screen up, or left to right/right to
left. You'll be pushed back far and take damage from this, so stay near the
center and try to hit him as he passes by, while jumping/dashing out of the
way. You'll get the hang of it.
-Wing Spiral: He'll generate tornadoes at you, which push you back slightly and
hurt you. You can dash out of them. Easily avoided, stay not under him, but
ahead of his body, but behind his Wing Spirals. He often lands after this
attack, which is why you don't stay under.

Force X (medium): Your Hover makes it easy to avoid his Dive (just jump in the
air, Hover, and wait for him to fly under you, then jump down and use Plasma
Shots), but it is hard to avoid Crash. Stay in the middle of the field when he
uses Crash, try your best to avoid, and if you get hit, you'll fly a good
distance but get back to the middle quickly. Dark Hold can keep him frozen for
a while, at which point you can wail on him with Plasma Shots. Do this at any
time. When he is using Wind Spiral, get under him and just spam Tri-Thunder. It
does moderate damage, directly hits him, and you are completely safe from
attack.

Falcon X (easy): You can fly through all of his attacks. So keep in the air,
shoot him with Peircing Shots and use your Giga Attack to do good damage. Dark
Hold him for a short while to get off some Peircing Shots onto him. He'll be
dead in no time.

Gaea X (hard): This battle is surprisingly hard with Gaea X. His slower
movement vs. Skiver's fast movements make it hard to manuver. Stay near the
center and use your Giga Attack if your in a pinch and need that invincibility.
Just keep spamming Gaea Shots on him, whenever possible, and bide your time
until Wing Spiral, then really give it to him.

Zero (easy): Wow, with Dark Hold, you can own this guy in no time. Use Dark
Hold when he is on the ground and just Triple Combo him over and over until
Dark Hold wears out. He should have 1/10 of his HP left, then just C-Sword or
C-Flasher to finish him off. If you have Energy Saver on, you could probably
kill him in the duration of Dark Hold.

==============Infested Jungle - Axle the Red (Spiked Rosered)=================

Weakness: Ground Fire / Quake Blazer

Movement Pattern: Jumps around the room.

Attacks:

-Spike Ball: He'll toss out a spiked ball in front of him, that stays there for
a bit then disappears. It can be destroyed.
-Spike Toss: He'll throw out a purple Spike Ball that bounces about the room.
This can also be destroyed.
-Twin Dream: He'll drop a seed on the ground, creating a replica to aid him.
The replica can't be damaged and disappears if you hit the real Axle the Red
with Ground Fire or Quake Blazer.
-Thorn Rope: Jumping to one side of the room, Axle the Red will try to entangle
you by whipping out a thorned rope. He'll attack body level first, so you can
duck to avoid it, and then he'll attack in a ducked motion so jump over it. If
you get caught, use the good old BUTTON MASH to free yourself. It does a lot of
damage so try to avoid it well. He often uses this attack when he has a replica
out.
-Petal Storm: Axle the Red will release several rose petals into the sky, that
float down from the left corner, like a feather in the wind. The petals can be
destroyed.

Force X (easy): Ground Fire works wonders here, hitting him with it does
critical damage and will either make him jump to where you are or if he is low
on life jump to the side and prepare for Thorn Rope. Charged Ground Fire does a
ton of damage to him as well. Charged F-Laser works nicely on him too when he
is using Thorn Rope. Goo Shaver and Tri-Thunder work moderately on him too, so
use your weapons against him!

Falcon X (easy): Use Ground Fire if you have it. Charged shots go through the
replica due to its peircing property. Use your Giga Attack if he starts doing a
lot of damage, which is possible in the higher levels. You can fly to protect
yourself from Spike Toss, Twin Dream and Petal Storm. Goo Shaver and Wing
Spiral both do very good damage to him as well, but Wing Spiral more. Remember,
Ground Fire makes this fight really easy!

Gaea X (easy): Spam Gaea Shots, but when he prepares Thorn Rope, jump onto the
wall behind him and stick to it, then just wail on him with Gaea Shots. Use
Giga Attack whenever, its easy.

Zero (medium): Don't get caught by Thorn Rope! When using Quake Blazer, jump
above him and use Quake Blazer, then move away from Axle as you fall, to hurt
him but avoid getting hit yourself. All of your attacks work, and C-Flasher is
good for clearing the area of Petal Storm + doing damage. If for some reason
you took Z-Buster instead of Force Armor at the beginning, you can use your
Z-Buster to hurt Axle just out of range of his Thorn Rope when he uses it.

==================Planetarium - Dark Dizzy (Dark Necrobat)====================

Weakness: F-Laser / C-Flasher

Movement Pattern: Flies around the room in a box shape.

Attacks:

-Energy Drain : He'll swoop at you and try to suck your energy away,
replenishing his own. Stay near the left or the right side of the room when he
is flying around to avoid this.
-Batton Rush: He'll summon several Battons to attack you. Just destroy them,
they might drop an item or two!
-Supersonics: He'll fire large sound waves at you. You can't jump through them,
instead, duck under the one that goes across the middle and jump the one that
is at the very bottom.
-Dark Hold: He'll freeze you for a moment. You can see him charge this up, the
only way to interuppt him is with Firefly Laser/C-Flasher.

Force X (easy): You can defeat him with a single Firefly Laser! Just make it so
he runs into the trail the F-Laser leaves behind and he'll take critical
damage. Charged F-Laser isn't too good on him though. Otherwise, use the Plasma
Shots to damage him and dodge his attacks accordingly. Wing Spiral also works
nice, since he is in the air a lot, but does weak damage.

Falcon X (easy): Your flight protects you from all of his attacks except
Supersonics and Energy Drain. Your Piercing Shots are good here, Firefly Laser,
too. Use the method Force X can use to defeat him easier. Its fun to fly into
his Batton Rush, hehe.

Gaea X (hard): Your Gaea Shots tear through his Batton summons, but he moves
quickly and is often out of your shot range. Your Giga Attack isn't too useful
on him either. When he is on the ground immediately jump to a wall to avoid
damage. You can't interuppt his Dark Hold either...

Zero (medium): Use C-Flasher only when he starts using Supersonics or gets
really close and tries to drain your energy, otherwise, Cresent Sword or
Electric Blade do good damage here.

===================Active Volcano - Mattrex (Burn Dinorex)====================

Mini Boss: Heat Dragon

Weakness: Goo Shaver / F-Splasher

(Why you would go this way, beats me...). This guy has a couple of attacks, the
fireballs hes been using the whole time leading to the fight (jump to dodge)
and trying to run into you. Really easy to dodge, regular attacks and charged
shots kill this guy easy. Use Goo Shaver/F-Splasher if you have them because
they work exceedingly well. C-Shot/C-Sword also do nice damage. Just mind the
lava at the bottom.

Boss: Mattrex (Burn Dinorex)

Weakness: Wing Spiral / W-Shredder

Movement Pattern: Jumps around in very arcs and move around by air dashing in
the room.

Attacks:

-Ground Fire: He'll spit out fireballs onto the ground, that give off embers to
the left and right of it. Jump to a wall to dodge easily.
-Air Dash: He'll try to air dash into you, if your far away its easy to jump
it, but quite hard if your close by. You can tell he'll Air Dash because he
jumps onto the wall first. His dashes have a knockback effect like Skiver's.
-Fire Cannon: He'll latch onto a wall and shoot fireballs quickly at you. Dash
to avoid these, he sends out 3-4 each time.
-Inferno: He'll use this attack when his life gets low. He'll set the whole
floor on fire, so jump to a wall for safety.
-Hellfire: Right after using Inferno, he'll dash into you, leaving small flames
that burst up shortly after leaving them. Hard to avoid, but jump over him and
stay between the flames to safely stay unharmed.

Force X (easy): Your Hover and Air Dash makes it easy to avoid his Air Dash and
Inferno/Hellfire attacks! Pelt him with regular and Plasma Shots, and use Wing
Spiral when he jumps up above you. Charge up Wing Spiral to do extra damage and
cover the screen with an attack he cannot dodge! If he tries to Air Dash you,
prepare a Charged Wing Spiral to do great damage to him.

Falcon X (hard): Your flight protects you from his Air Dash and dashing
techniques, and your flight makes dodge Hellfire and Inferno a sinch. However,
it is somewhat hard to land Wing Spiral on him, and his attacks, when they hit
you, hurt pretty bad. Piercing Shots are good for when he is on the ground, and
when he tries to Air Dash you, hit him with Wing Spiral or fly to protect
yourself.

Gaea X (medium): Your charged Gaea Shot can erase Ground Fire and Fire Cannon.
It is harder to dodge his Air Dash due to slower movement, but make do. Your
Giga Attack is good here, so use it, and just gank him with Gaea Shots.

Zero (easy): Zero is easy to beat this guy with, if you have the right tools.
Like usual, C-Sword does good damage, and triple combos are viable here because
he likes to stand in one spot for a while. C-Flasher does a lot of damage, too!
F-Splasher can be used to not only protect yourself when he tries to Air Dash
you, but it hurts him too! F-Splasher can also be used to avoid the dash of
Hellfire. If you have W-Shredder, use it to interuppt his stronger attacks!
However, his W-Shredder doesn't work if he is dashing right at you, it is
blocked it seems. Its easy with Zero.

====================Maverick Hunter HQ - Dynamo (1st time)====================

Encountered after you defeat two Mavericks.

Weakness: Wing Spiral / W-Shredder

Movement Pattern: Jumps around in arcs.

Attacks:

-Split Shot: Dynamo will jump in the air and shot a bullet that splits going
left and right wherever you are. If your in the air, it'll break mid air and
launch towards you. To dodge, just stand on the ground and jump when it breaks
and comes for you.
-Saberang: Dynamo throws his saber like a boomerang, from one side of the
screen to the other, and it returns to him the same way. Easily jumpable.
-Saber Guard: He'll spin his saber in front of him to protect him, can't hurt
him when he is using this.

Force X (medium): (Shouldn't have any other armors at this point) Use charged
Plasma shots on him from afar so you can easily see Saberang and Split Shot
coming to dodge them. Use Wing Spiral if you have it, I usually don't at this
point in the game.

Zero (easy): Use C-Sword if you have it on him, it works really well. Just keep
spamming C-Sword and he'll flee in no time.

====================Maverick Hunter HQ - Dynamo (2nd time)====================

Encountered after you defeat six Mavericks.

Weakness: Wing Spiral / W-Shredder

Movement Pattern: Jumps around everywhere.

Attacks:

-Saberang: Dynamo throws his saber like a boomerang, from one side of the
screen to the other, and it returns to him the same way. Easily jumpable.
-Saber Guard: He'll spin his saber in front of him to protect him, can't hurt
him when he is using this.
-Saber Break: He only uses this attack if you are playing as Megaman X, Dynamo
will jump right at you, slashing you with a wide saber attack. Either dash
TOWARDS him to avoid it, or use Falcon Armor's flight to stay safe.
-Double Split Shot: He only uses this attack if you are playing as Zero, he'll
jump up and use Split Shot, then hover in the air and do another Split Shot
while your jumping. Its easier to avoid if you jump up and away from him.
-Roukouaha: He smashes his fist in the ground causing energy to burst through
the ground in three manners, all around the room with spaces you can hide in
between, then right side of the room, followed by left side. Hard to dodge, but
possible. Use Force/Ultimate Armor's air dash to avoid it easier. Falcon
Armor's flight protection doesn't work on this attack.

Force X (medium): The following attacks do not harm Dynamo: Tri-Thunder, Goo
Shaver, Dark Hold and Ground Fire. A Charged up F-Laser does a TON of damage to
him, like most enemies. Wing Spiral regular or charged does a lot of damage
too, but be careful when using it, it tosses him around like a ragdoll and he
might crash into you. C-Shot does fair damage as well. Spike Ball... just
sucks, I'm afraid. Use the Air Dash to avoid his Roukouaha easier, and learn
the patterns of his attack.

Falcon X (medium): You can't charge F-Laser to do a ton of damage, so use Wing
Spiral. Remember, you can fly to protect yourself from Saber Break and
Saberang, and your charged X-Buster can go through his Saber Guard, it will
damage him (remember, it has a peiring effect). However, flying doesn't protect
you from Roukouaha... feel free to use Giga Attack for this one.

Gaea X (hard): Your quick charged shots make short work of him, but you'll take
a lot of damage from Roukouaha because your slower dashing and jumping make it
harder to escape from. Also hard to dodge Saber Break. When he uses Roukouaha
the first time (you'll see him charge up) get up REALLY close to him and use
your Giga Attack, you'll do lots of damage and be invincible for the duration
of his attack.

Zero (medium): C-Flasher is good to hit him from a range. Use W-Shredder to
interuppt his attacks and do good damage to him, but only when he prepares
Roukouaha. Use Triple Combos and C-Sword to damage him in the air and when he
is using Saberang.

=====================Zero Virus Stage One - Black Devil=======================

Weakness: Tri-Thunder / E-Blade

Movement Pattern: Everywhere.

Attacks:

-Transmorgification: He'll break down in 16, 4x4 pattern blocks, and leave a
green silouette which does MASSIVE DAMAGE if you touch the center of it (the
first bit of the leg and arm are actually safe to touch). Then he'll randomly
throw the blocks across the screen, keeping them at the other side. This is his
main and most deadly attack. Duck to avoid the top three blocks, and jump over
the bottom one. This is hard, and you may get siked out and jump into a high
block... all I can say is good luck, and try not to get hit. Use E-Tanks if you
need to, this does a lot of damage. He'll reform once he is done the attack.
-Energy Eye: He'll open up his eye and shoot two red energy balls at you. They
move kind of quick but are easy to dodge.
-Replica Tank: He'll change into a Dr. Wily tank... he'll try to jump on you
(with spikes on the bottom, of course, they do a lot of damage but not instant
kill) and ram the wall, causing you to fall off if your wall jumping. He'll
open his eye after each jump, so use this time wisely and get some finishing
hits in!

Force X (medium): Air Dash can help you avoid his Replica Tank, but Hover and
other weapons essentailly do nothing here. Use a Plasma Shot to do the first
hit of damage when his eye opens, then follow it up with Tri-Thunder.

Falcon X (medium): If you fly up to the very top of the room and HOLD UP, you
can avoid the topmost block. You can fly over four blocks, so choose wisely
when dropping down to fly back up again. You can also fly behind him and VERY
RAPIDLY wallkick behind him to dodge them all, but its risky and hard to pull
off. Regardless, if you get hit, you'll take little damage. Hit him in the eye
when it appears with a Piercing Shot, then follow it up with Tri-Thunder. When
he turns into tank mode, fly over his innital ram attack, then spam Tri-Thunder
on him, two hits per every time the eye opens. Tri-Thunder suddenly gets a
really low delay here... so take advantage of it!

Gaea X (medium): If you managed to get Gaea X here, kudos. Its really hard, but
I've managed to get passed the lasers. Anyway, Gaea X isn't actually that bad
here considering Tri-Thunder sucks on this boss anyway (with the high delay it
leaves to attack again). High defense, powerful quick charge Gaea Shots, you'll
own this boss in no time. Just hit the eye, and wait for the tank change to
really lay it down on him. Oh, your Giga Attack can be used if the eye appears
at Black Devil's foot, so use it.

Zero (hard): Don't use E-Blade, it is suicide. You'll do a bit of damage to
him, and get hit yourself hard. Instead, rely on good old C-Sword (if you have
Master Saber, attach it for a bit more damage). Try your best to avoid his
Transmorgification attack, it is a BEAST. Take as long as you need to for this
guy, and watch out for Energy Eye, it is hard to avoid what with your melee
attacks. Most weapons don't work on him, but C-Flasher can be good you use
early in the battle to do some damage. Use it all, then when it restores (as
you WILL get hit, unless you are super master at this game) use it some more.
It is REALLY easy to kill him when he is in Tank form, so take advantage of it.

===================Zero Virus Stage Two - Rangda Bangda II====================

Weakness: Blue Eye: Ground Fire / Quake Blazer
	  Red Eye: Tri-Thunder / E-Blade
	  Green Eye: C-Shot / C-Sword
	  Nose: Goo Shaver / F-Splasher

Movement Pattern: Everywhere.

Attacks:

-Blue Crash: The Blue Eye will appear and try to ram into you, easy to avoid
and kill.
-Red Wave: The Red Eye will appear and shoot a stream of shots around the
screen, hard to avoid, so kill it the best you can.
-Green Burst: The Green Eye will appear and shoot a stream of destroyable shots
at you. Destroy them if you can (Force/Ultimate X's Plasma Shots work wonders
there) and attack the Green Eye!
-Nose Dive: (Hehe, I made a funny), the Nose will bring the walls close
together and spikes will appear on the floor. It will try to ram into you like
the blue eye, but moving in either vertical or horizontal movements. Easy to
kill. Sometimes it will force spikes out of the walls. Gaea Armor makes this
easy to fight.

Force X (easy): Its best to wait until an eye appears, then hit Start and
manually select the weapon they are weak against. Charge up C-Shot to protect
you from Green Eye's burst fire attack, and then hover beside him to deal
damage at the same time. Use Ground Fire on the Blue Eye, charging it up does
more damage. Use Tri-Thunder on Red Eye, but don't charge it up, since Charged
Tri-Thunder sucks horribly. You can easily dodge Red Eye's attacks if you Hover
and climb in between its attacks. Hover last a long time if you don't move,
after all. Use Goo Shaver on the Nose, shouldn't be too hard to hit him with
it. Just be careful of the spikes.

Falcon X (easy): Since the stage is made so easy with Falcon Armor, you'll
probably use this or Gaea X to fight Rangda Bangda II. Use the same weapons on
the same eyes as Force X. However, your can fly to protect yourself from all
attacks except Red Wave. Use a C-Shot just before Green Eye attacks, then
immediately fly, you'll break all of it's shots. Then hit it with another
C-Shot before it disappears. Use Ground Fire on Blue Eye and fly when it is
invulnerable. Fly around Red Wave to protect yourself from it and use
Tri-Thunder. Just spam the nose with Goo Shaver and fly around to avoid any
spikes. Its easy.

Gaea X (easy): Wow, this boss is HELLA EASY with Gaea X. First off, Nose's
spikes don't hurt you. Easy. Your attacks break the Green Eye's shots, and you
can use Giga Attack on Nose and Blue Eye. Just go up and own this guy, easy.

Zero (medium): Lure the Blue Eye down so you can Quake Blazer him. C-Sword the
green eye, he shoots less for Zero so you can break his energy shots. Just ream
Red Eye with C-Sword. Use F-Splasher on the nose and be careful of the spikes.

======================Zero Virus Stage Three - Megaman X======================

What? Zero fighting Megaman X!? Awesome! He is a tough fight, especially since
he dons the Ultimate Armour and can use most weapons from Megaman X4. But he
has a weakness, use it! If your going as Zero into this stage, pick up his
Black armour upgrade! It will help tremendously.

Weakness: Quake Blazer

Movement Pattern: Everywhere. He can dash and wall jump.

Attacks:

-X-Buster: Megaman X will use his trusty Plasma shots on you. You can actually
destroy these shots with your saber (I'm not sure if it is a chip property...
it is always possible with Black Zero though, so I don't know). When he charges
up his Plasma Shots he will usually change his abilities.
-Soul Body: His most used attack, Soul Body. Unlike X4, he will shoot out five
souls at you. They move quick and directly at you, and he can fire them in any
direction. Dash and dash jump up walls to avoid.
-Double Cyclone: When his life starts getting low he likes to use this. He'll
let loose two green cyclones to his sides. They do a lot of damage but are
narrow. Jump to the safety of the walls to avoid.
-Frost Tower: His least used attack, but also his strongest. He'll charge up
Frost Tower, and unleash icicles from the sky. They come down in waves of: 1
directly above you, 2 around you and finally 3, one above you two around. Hard
to dodge, but stay near a wall and dash away when it appears.

Zero (hard): All of your attacks do good damage to Megaman X, but Quake Blazer
does the most. Use Quake Blazer and Triple Combos (combos are actually unsafe
in this battle, but do it if you feel self-sacrificing). F-Splasher is good
here too, if your daring. Like usual, C-Flasher does great damage too, and from
a distance. W-Shredder is good too for when he is using Soul Body... just hit
him with everything you got. For an extra cool effect, use Dark Hold while
fighting him, doesn't affect him but the arena inverts and looks pretty awesome
;).

========================Zero Virus Stage Three - Zero=========================

Once again, Megaman X has to fight Zero (if you don't know, Megaman had to
fight Zero in Megaman X2, if he couldn't retrieve of all Zero's parts). This
time X has to fight Zero to bring him back to the base... why wasn't Zero
harmed by the virus? In fact, it makes him stronger. X has to fight Zero to
make sure he doesn't get hurt, quite a paradox.

If you choose to fight as Unarmored X here (to get Ultimate Armor), good luck,
it is HELLA hard, but possible. Just be sure to use E-Tanks.

-Weakness: X-Buster (Gaea Shot in particular) / Nova Strike

-Movement Pattern: Everywhere but the walls. Zero likes to dash but not wall
climb.

-Attacks:

-Retro Combo: Zero will use his Attack Combo from Megaman X2: He'll fire two
Z-Buster shots ahead of him, and slash with his Z-Saber, causing a green slash
to fly through the air. The slash will move to your current location, so move
out of the way, it does a lot more damage than you might think. Also, Shot
Eraser can remove Zero's Z-Buster shots.
-Roukouaha: Zero can use Roukouaha from Megaman X4. He'll pound his fist into
the ground causing a wave of energy blasts to burst from the ground. You can
jump inbetween blasts (it goes blast -> space -> blast), but it moves very
quick and can be hard to dodge. If Zero is right beside you he will SPAM this
attack. Don't get too close to Zero.

Force X (medium): Your Plasma Shots do almost the same amount of damage as a
Gaea Shot would do, but the plasma energy they leave behind do not harm Zero.
Also, your attacks cannot erase his Z-Buster attacks. Without the Nova Strike
from X4 at your disposal, this can be a somewhat difficult fight. Just keep
wailing on him with your Plasma Shots (if you have Quick Charge, use it.
Everyone loves Quick Charge :D) and using Air Dash and Hover to avoid his
Roukouaha and you'll win.

Falcon X (hard): None of your attacks but your Piercing Shot hurt Zero. Also,
your flight doesn't protect you from any of his attacks. It is a hard battle,
but you can pull through. Use your Piercing Shots to do some damage on Zero,
and keep wearing him down. Fly over his Retro Combo attack when he uses it, and
be careful from his Roukouaha attack, it is very dangerous. When his life gets
below half, use your Giga Attack and hope it finishes him off, if it doesn't,
keep using Piercing Shots. Be prepared to use an E-Tank for this fight.

Gaea X (easy): While the last bit of the stage was hard to get through (gotta
dash jump onto falling platforms over a bottomless pit... yikes), you made it
to Zero. Your Gaea Shots do TREMENDOUS damage to Zero. Your Gaea Shot also
erases his Z-Buster shots, but not the Z-Saber slash. However, you can use his
Roukouaha against him. Let him get close, use your Giga Attack and he'll just
stand there using Roukouaha. You won't get hurt, but you will take off almost
all of his lifebar. Use Giga Attack!

Ultimate X (easy): Just tear through him with your invincible Nova Strike! If
his uses any of his attacks, your Hover, Air Dash or Nova Strike will be of
great help in avoiding them.

===================Zero Virus Stage Three - Nightmare Zero====================

If Zero went Maverick, you'll fight Nightmare Zero instead of Zero. The
techniques used to beat him are the same (Once again, Gaea and Ultimate X rip
Zero apart). He'll have a red aura around him, and his attacks will be buffed
up.

If you choose to fight as Unarmored X here (to get Ultimate Armor), good luck,
it is OH SNAP hard, but possible. Just be sure to use E-Tanks.

-Weakness: X-Buster (Gaea Shot in particular)

-Movement Pattern: All along the floor, he doesn't climb up the walls.

-Attacks:

-Nightmare Combo: He'll shoot two spinning blades directly at you, and they'll
stop and hold in place. Then he will create a slash in the air with his
Z-Saber. Once his Z-Saber slash has passed, the spinning blades will come back
at you. Hard to avoid, but climb up the walls, jump, fly, whatever to escape,
they do a lot of damage.
-Overdrive: He'll use Roukouaha repeadiately. Hard to avoid, but jump inbetween
the cracks. This also does more damage than regular Roukouaha.

Force X (hard): Your Plasma Shots do almost the same amount of damage as a Gaea
Shot would do, but the plasma energy they leave behind do not harm Nightmare
Zero. Without the Nova Strike from X4 at your disposal, this can be a difficult
fight. Just keep wailing on him with your Plasma Shots (if you have Quick
Charge, use it. Everyone loves Quick Charge :D) and using Air Dash and Hover to
avoid his Overdrive and you'll win.

Falcon X (hard): None of your attacks but your Piercing Shot hurt Nightmare
Zero. Also, your flight doesn't protect you from any of his attacks. It is a
hard battle, but you can pull through. Use your Piercing Shots to do some
damage on Zero, and keep wearing him down. Fly around his Nightmare Combo
attack when he uses it, and be careful from his Overdrive attack, it is very
dangerous. When his life gets below half, use your Giga Attack and hope it
finishes him off, if it doesn't, keep using Piercing Shots. Be prepared to use
an E-Tank for this fight.

Gaea X (easy): Your Gaea Shots do TREMENDOUS damage to Nightmare Zero. You can
also use his Overdrive against him. Let him get close, use your Giga Attack and
he'll just stand there using Overdrive. You won't get hurt, but you will take
off almost all of his lifebar. Use Giga Attack!

Ultimate X (easy): Just tear through him with your invincible Nova Strike! If
his uses any of his attacks, your Hover, Air Dash or Nova Strike will be of
great help in avoiding them.

===================The Final Battle - Return of the Eight=====================

You have to refight the 8 bosses of this game: Cresent Grizzly, Squid Adler,
Izzy Glow, Duff McWhalen, The Skiver, Axle the Red, Dark Dizzy and Mattrex.
They are all level 96 now and have three times the size of their normal life
bars, and use all of their attacks. The Teleporter order goes like this:

1 Mattrex
2 Dark Dizzy
3 Izzy Glow
4 Squid Adler
5 Duff McWhalen
6 Cresent Grizzly
7 Axle the Red
8 The Skiver

You should have all your abilities by now, so use them!

Just use the same techniques you used before to defeat them, once all of them
are defeated a golden teleporter opens.

==========================The Final Battle - Sigma============================

Sigma is back, again, typical. Why'd he toss away that sweet cape? He should've
kept it, be like "Phsow wow bweeeeoooo!". Alright, let's do this.

-Weakness: Tri-Thunder / E-Blade

-Movement Pattern: Dashes everywhere in the room, including the walls, except
the VERY TOP of the room. Staying up there is crucial to avoid a lot of damage.

-Attacks:

-Dash: He'll dash at you, and up the walls. You can duck and jump to avoid
this, but he can move pretty fast. The purple shadows he leaves behind him also
hurt you.
-Satellite Shock: Standing at either the left or right side of the room, he'll
send out lightning satellites that move up and down. Jump to a nearby wall for
safety and hit Tri-Thunder, or stand in front of him, jumping over the
lightning satellites and hit him with charged shots.
-Virus Guard: When his life starts getting low, he'll put up three Sigma Virii
to protect him. You can still hurt Sigma if you shoot between them, but it is
easier to destroy them.
-Scimitar Wave: He'll send out sharp energy waves at you, they take up a good
3/4 of the screen. Duck under the eye-level one, climb the wall and jump over
the low one and jump inbetween the one that goes alove the top and bottom. This
attack does a lot of damage and is hard to dodge, especially the top/bottom
one, so be careful and act quickly.

Force X (medium): None of your attacks work on him except Plasma Shot and
Tri-Thunder. You can hover to avoid most of his attacks, in fact, hovering
helps a lot to dodge Scimitar Wave (mostly the one that covers top/bottom). Hit
him with Plasma Shots or Tri-Thunder, you can use Tri-Thunder from a wall and
most likely one of the bolts will get him. Charging it up and letting
Tri-Thunder go above him does a lot more damage but it is hard to get more than
one hit (two if your lucky with it) so when its going use Plasma Shots.

Falcon X (medium): Your flight protects you from his dashing and Virus Guard.
Stay on the wall above him, and just wail on him with Tri-Thunder (this method
could take a while though, since hitting him with Tri-Thunder leaves a HUGE
delay, but it is the safest). When he is using Scimitar Wave, you can use fly
to get over the low one and fly between the top/bottom one.

Gaea X (medium): His Satellite Shock is hard to dodge, but climb up a wall.
When he is using it, just run up the wall and stick there until he stops. Only
use Gaea Shots when he is dashing and wall climbing. You can attack him too
when he is using Scimitar Wave, but if your slow you'll get hit. Its easy to
dodge the top/bottom waves if you stick to the middle of the left wall. You can
also use your Giga Attack to avoid three Scimitar Waves, but he is too high up
to hit him with it at that point.

Ultimate X (easy): Don't even bother with Tri-Thunder, just Nova Strike him
into oblivion, it isn't rocket science.

Zero (medium): Only C-Sword, E-Blade and Triple Combos hurt him. E-Blade is
risky to use unless he is dashing up on the walls, so use C-Sword to hurt him.
Triple Combo when he is warping from a corner to the right of the screen when
he is about to preform Scimitar Wave. Double Jump is useful for avoiding low
and top/bottom waves. Save your Twin Dream for next fight!

========================The Final Battle - Gamma Sigma========================

-Weakness: Spike Ball / Twin Dream

-Movement Pattern: Nowhere and everywhere... his head cannot move, but his
hands can move anywhere on the screen.

-Attacks:

-Dematerialize: His body will dematerialize and you cannot hurt him, wait for
him to materialize.
-Gamma Crush: He'll attempt to crush you with his hands, get away to avoid them
(dur). The spikes on his fists can also harm you.
-Plasma Shot: His hands will fire Plasma Shots at you. Just standing on the
ground avoids it.
-Homing Strike: Firing four energy balls out of his eye to the ground, the
balls will follow you once, then again shortly after. To avoid, jump up a wall,
dash off it to the other side, dash to the wall again and jump up, is the
safest way to go. Gamma Sigma remains materialized throughout this portion, so
wail on him with attacks!
-Zeus Fist: One of his hands will come up from above and stay above you, the
release a stream of lightning down at you. You can move with it inbetween the
lightning, but that is hard and stupid, if you have the life, take the hit, run
out and rush Gamma Sigma's head. Use Spike Ball/Twin Dream. Alternatively, you
can destroy the hand, and it usually drops some life or weapon energy :D.
-Break: When his life gets low, he'll use this extremely dangerous attack.
He'll try to encase you in large purple blocks, which break shortly after. Dash
away and up walls, do anything to escape. Flying does not work here. Getting
hit takes a lot of damage. On the fifth purple block, it'll solidify and try to
run into you. Stay on the opposite side of the room of it, for example, if it
is in the bottom right corner, you stay in the top left. If can only move
horitzontally and vertically, and only stops when it hits the wall. Falcon X's
fly is good for avoiding thing. Use E-Tanks, as they are usually necessary.

Force X (hard): Gamma Sigma can make himself invulnerable whenever he is not
attacking. Also, you can only hurt the purple crystal in his head. Only Spike
Ball and Plasma Shots work here. Rush his head with Spike Balls, which are
super effective here. Hover in front for his head and shot them so the ball
stays right over the crystal. You can spam several Spike Balls to severely and
quickly damage him. Don't bother using a Charged Spike Ball because it doesn't
hurt much more and takes longer to preform the move. Use Plasma Shots whenever
he uses Zeus Fist to hurt the hand and the crystal at the same time. Good luck!

Falcon X (hard): Your fly helps you avoid Homing Strike, Gamma Crush and Break.
Piercing Shot is very strong against Gamma Simga, but Spike Ball is better.
Spike Ball is VERY effective on Gamma Sigma, doing a lot of damage but with
very low delay. If you work Spike Ball right, you can make a single Spike Ball
hit him twice! Fly right up to him and use Spike Ball. If he uses Zeus Fist,
use Wing Spiral or Tri-Thunder to destroy his hand for goodies. This is the
final battle, use your E-Tanks and W-Tank, and Giga Attack too!

Gaea X (medium): Stick up onto the left or right wall and just wail on him with
Gaea Shots, if you take damage, climb back up and keep going. When/if your life
gets low, use an E-Tank. If he uses Zeus Fist, stand in the middle of the room
and use Giga Attack, he'll pass over you and you'll take no damage. Then keep
sticking to the wall and firing off Gaea Shots. If he uses Break, do your best
to run away, but it is hard. You can also use Giga Attack here to avoid some
hits. Just Zerg Rush (hehe) the head!

Ultimate X (easy): Again, rush him with Nova Strike in the head, if he uses
Break or anything just keep Nova Striking.

Zero (medium): Only C-Sword, Twin Dream and F-Splasher work on him. Use Twin
Dream anytime he is materialized, jump onto the right wall and wall attack so
your clone reaches him and does great damage to him, you can get off 3-4 hits
with one Twin Dream. If you run out of Twin Dream power, use a W-Tank. When he
is doing Homing Strike, you can avoid his shots and hit him from using
F-Splasher on him. C-Sword is useful, but Twin Dream and F-Splasher are best
(both do good damage). You can use Quake Blazer and E-Blade to destroy his
hands if they start to get in your way.

Congrats, you beat the game! Now go watch one of your three endings!
