| Introduction to this FAQ and how to use this FAQ | IDXA001 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Welcome to this FAQ. Even though I realize this game is old, and may not be
as popular as it used to be this work is made anyway. Reason is easy.
Devotion, and the fact that I still do receive mails about it every once in
awhile. Enough to get this all up.
I do need to note, that even though I wrote as well the location as the boss
guide, this work is entirely written from scratch, with the only exception
that I copied AETHER SPOON's description of Agolmois and Paatsan's
description of Ragu Ragla out of my Boss FAQ. They lended me those things for
my boss FAQ. I here want to thank them both once again for their hard work.
First of all, I am always saying that playing games with a Walkthrough is no
fun. It takes away half the challenge. Therefore I always try to make my
walkthroughs that way that you only have to look up if you are really stuck.
For this reason all sections have a "IDX" code. They are all in the Index.
What I need to note is that Wild Arms 2 has been created that way that some
dungeons can be taken in random order. All the sessions in which dungeons can
be taken in random order I placed (Rxx) behind it where (xx) indicates a
record number of the session. In this FAQ I put them into the order in which
I took them.
At the start of each level and boss fight I'll give you my levels. These are
by no way recommendations. I don't believe in levelling up. It takes hours
of wasting time, and is in my humble opionion just cheating. The game is easy
enough to beat at low levels, not to mention that there are many other ways
to make things easier. However inexperienced players can use my levels as a
guideline. When this is your first RPG game you may try to keep up with me
in levels. Experienced players should ignore the fact that I put them in, in
the first place.
On techniques. I always used Ashley, Brad and Lilka as my party, and I
recommend to do the same, unless one of those three isn't available or when
I state otherwise. You may pick other party members if you like, but I
recommend against it strongly, plus this FAQ will not go about it when it
comes to techniques.
On personal skills I describe the best route to take, or at least the route
I take (see personal skills section). You may choose difrently, but once
again, this FAQ does NOT go about it.
Then you may find some "additional" boxes all over this FAQ. Everything that
is noted in those boxes has nothing to do with the quest itself. I only use
those boxes to give you some playing hints that may make the game much easier
or give you some hints that gives you the ULTIMATE way of playing. You may
disagree with what I write in those "additional" boxes, but that's up to you.
Now note that all dungeons are divided in "rooms". When I say exit you go to
a new room. Each time you enter a new room I'll put a "-" at the start
of the line for your easy tracking.
Note to those who played Wild Arms 3, 4 and Alter Code F. WA2 has no room
numbers, so I cannot use such numbers, I'm afraid. :-(
I often speak in North, East, West, South. This may confuse you since the
game ocasionally turns the viewpoint, not to mention you can change it
yourself as well. Set the compass on in your game configuration. Now there'll
be a pointer on your screen with a red and a white side. The red side points
north, and will always be taken as north in this walkthrough.
Last but not least. I won't note all treasure chests lying all over the game
unless it contains something really noteworthy. This FAQ is for solving
puzzles and getting past some bosses in the first place. Most of the
treasures aren't that great.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Some playing tips | IDXA002 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Here are some playing tips. Basically set up for inexperienced RPG players,
but perhaps the experts can see some things they never thought of before.
- Check your HP after every fight. If it's low use items
- Save your items. You cannot buy healing items in stores.
- Make sure you set up personal skills
- Make sure you're always equipped with the best equipment at the time
- However summons are not really useful, you can alter your stats by
equipping mediums. You may as well use it.
- Even though I always recommend to use the Ashley, Brad and Lilka only
don't hesitate to remove them if you are in an emergency situation.
Sometimes that's better than having a game over.
- If you're looking for clues for puzzles or passwords, try searching the
dungeon. The clue is mostly found in the dungeon itself. Can't find it
then this FAQ is there to help.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Translation notes | IDXA003 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This FAQ is written for the US version of Wild Arms 2 only. I figure there's
not much diffrence between the US and the Japanese version, but some
passwords may be diffrent.
I do know that a few names are changed in the US version.
Riruka - Lilka
Toka - Liz
Ge - Ard
Note on Caina
Name's the same, but in Japanse Caina is a man, in US Caina is a woman.
I'm far too used to see Caina as a woman, so "she" and "her" are the words
I will use.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Characters, and how to use them | IDXB001 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Ashley Winchester
Ashley is a guy who has speed, strength and defense all in perfect harmony,
so for that reason, having Ashley in your party as much as possible is
simply the best option in most battles. For bosses Ashley is also a very
good choice, as he's able to transform into a monster once he learns his
"Acces" force.
- Special abilities
Ashley has a huge bayonet. You can add all kinds of cartridges to it when
you find them in chests. Once the cartridge is used Ashley has a new move.
All his moves require bullets so don't overdo it.
- Forces
1. Accelerator
Get: Start of game
Use: When used Ashley may always act first no matter how fast
other chars and enemies are.
2. Combine
Get: When completing the trial arena
Use: When Tim's on the front Ashley can summon a guardian pending
on the medium he's equipped with.
3. Full-Clip
Get: You can get this from Noel on disc 2
Use: Ashley will shoot all bullets of a bayonet cartrdige onto
the enemy in once
4. Acces
Get: When fighting Trask in Golgotha Prison
Use: Transform into a monster to gain new powers
- Tools:
1. Hurl Knife
Get: Got from a soldier in your first mission
Use: Shoot knives at targets
2. Booty Call
Get: In a chest in the telepath tower
Use: Detects treasures in the room
3. Flare gun
Get: In a chest in Spiral Tower
Use: Shoot at targets straight above you or light dark rooms
Brad Evans
Brad is by far the strongest party member of the game. No discussion about
that. He's slow, but his powers and defensive capabilities easily make it
up for it.
- Special Abilities
Brad uses heavy ARMS. In most cases the strongest attacks possible.
You can acquire them by having Brad to kick open ARM chests.
Using them costs ammo, so don't waste it. But on bosses these ARMS RULE!
Especially when used with Lock-On
- Forces:
1. Lock-On
Get: Start Game
Use: Heavy ARM will never miss
2. Combine
Get: When completing the Trail Arena
Use: When Tim's in the front rank Brad can summon a guardian
3. ARMSx2
Get: After completing the coffin of 100 eyes
Use: Use 2 ARMS in one turn (I advise against it)
4: Boost
Get: Complete the Ray-Point Geo
Use: Heavy ARM never misses and power amplified by 3
- Tools
1. Kick Shoes
Get: In chest in Green Hell
Use: Kick objects
2. Bombs
Get: Hidden under bed in the miners town
Use: Blow things up
3. Earthquake
Get: In chest in Ray-Point Geo
Use: Destroy everything in the room
Lilka "Riruka" Eleniak
Lilka is the sorceress. Her magic can get you through all kinds of situations
and she's important as a healer. She's very fast, and truly an addition to
your team.
- Special Abilities
Lilka uses Crest Sorcery. Spells she can acquire by turning Crests into
any spell you desire. You can remove spells in order to get the Crest back
and use it for another spell. There are also 2 special crests that powerup
a spell nicely. Later in the game you can get level 2 magic which gets her
even more powerfull spells.
- Forces
1. Mystic
Get: Start game
Use: Use items meant for one person on the entire front row, or release
hidden powers of some special items
2. Combine
Get: When completing the Trial Arena
Use: When Tim's in the front row, Lilka can summon a guardian
3. Extend
Get: Complete the "Extend" sidequest
Use: Use magic for one target on groups
4. Dual Cast
Get: Complete the Ray-point Flam
Use: Cast 2 spells in one turn or combine two spells to create an
Ultimate spell
- Tools
1. Flame Staff
Get: Game Start
Use: Set fire on serveral objects
2. Freeze Staff
Get: In chest in Mt. Chug-Chug on the way to Sielje
Use: Free things or put out fires
3. Change Staff
Get: In Chest in Ray-Point Flam
Use: Change HP crystals into platforms or special platforms into HP
Crystals
Tim Rhymeless
Tim is by far the weakest person of your team, also the slowest. He has a
few spells stronger than Lilka's but at a terrible price. He can summon
guardians, and allow Ashley, Brad and Lilka to do so, but honestly, the
Guardians do not make up for the terrible costs of heaving a char who dies
so easily.
- Special Abilties
Tim has the "Guardian Lore" ability. He gains spells from the guardians.
You want a spell, have Tim to equip the medium the spell belongs to and
have him to kill the required ammount of enemies. With enough kills Tim
learns the spell.
Some recommendations are "First Aid", "Turn Undead" and "Arcana 13".
First aid for healing the other 2 are needed if you want to take on some
optional bosses.
- Forces:
1. FP Shift
Get: When he starts in the game
Use: Share FP with others
2. Combine
Get: When fighting Gehanna Neros
Use: Summon a guardian
3. Divide
Get: When finishing the sacrificial altar
Use: Turn a monster into a weaker monster
Or a gagison into a Hayonkonton (very hard monster)
4. High Combo
Get: Complete Ray-Point Wing
Use: Summon Guardian from gold medium
- Tools
1. Pooka
Get: Start Trial Arena
Use: Set out Pooka to have him reach places that you cannot.
2. Wind Staff
Get: Chest in Emulator zone (reach with Pooka)
Use: Set out a wind to move certain objects
3. Mist Cloak
Get: Chest in Raypoint Wing (reach with Pooka)
Use: Get over holes, and through fences
Kanon (Real name will be revealed later in the game)
Kanon is very fast, and has a few killer moves. Very much WA2 players
perfer her above Brad. I do not. Her moves require too much FP to get
impressive, and she's killed easily. But that's my opinion.
- Special Abilities
Kanon has special moves in her bionic arm. When you are lucky you will
learn a new move when using these moves. You can also combine her moves
with her Gat forces to power them up.
- Forces
1. Gat Level 1
Get: Game Start
Use: Power up level 1 special moves
2. Gat Level 2
Get: Game Start
Use: Power up level 2 special moes
3. Gat Level 3
Get: Complete Grotto of Lourdes
Use: Power up level 3 special moves
4. Gat Level 4
Get: Complete Ray-Point Muse
Use: Power up level 4 special moves
- Tools
1. Hook
Get: Chest in Coffin of 100 eyes
Use: Hook on poles in order to get over spots you normally can't
get over.
2. Skates
Get: Chest is grotto of Lourdes
Use: Keep going without being touched by floor tiles that damage
you.
3. Jump shoes
Get: Chest in Ray-point Muse
Use: Jump on jump tiles to reach higher areas or break things under
your feet so you can fall through it.
Marivel, the Crimson Noble
Marivel is a secret party member who'll join you if you take on the
Crimson Castle sidequest on disc 2.
Marivel ain't such a bad party member. She's pretty strong, can get nice
moves, and can summon power golems. She could do as a good replacement for
either Ashley or Brad. But since she joins up very late, and since Ashley
and Brad are not neccesarily better, but more in my play-style I seldom use
her. (Not to mention that it takes a lot of time to get her better moves)
But you shouldn't underestimate her.
- Special Abilities
Marivel can learn new moves from enemies by using the "skill drain" ability
on them. Serveral attempts may be needed, but some moves can be rewarding.
- Forces
1. Qubely
Get: Start Game
Use: Summon a golem that damages your enemies a bit
2. Asgard
Get: In a hidden room in the Crimson Castle
Use: Summon a golem that damages your enemies good
3. Lucifer
Get: Complete Fab Lab
Use: Summon a golem that damages your enemies greatly
4. Asgard 2
Get: Complete Fab Lab
Use: Summon a golem that damages your enemies very greatly.
- Tools
1. Electrel
Get: Marivel starts with it
Use: Set electricity on objects that may respond to it.
2. Wind-Up Key
Get: Chest in promised catacombs
Use: You can wind up smiley blocks with it, which will get them to move
3. My Mike
Get: Chest in Lost Garden. Need Wind-Up Key to reach it
Use: Instant encounter or open the pyramids containing optional bosses.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Guardians | IDXB002 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Guardians are the protectors of the world Filgaia. They appear in mediums
which you can equip to boost your statistics. Ashley, Brad, Lilka and Tim
can summon them to aid in battle, but since you need Pooka's help for that,
Tim must always be in the front row.
There are 2 types of mediums. Silver and gold ones. Silver ones can be used
in a "Combine" (by Ashley, Brad, Lilka and Tim), the gold ones can only be
used in a "High-Combo" (Tim Only).
They can also give you an extra battle command (which is available under
the star icon).
Here's a list of all guardians I found, and where to find them.
- Odoryuk (Life)
Tim is equipped with it by default

Use the moves and if you are lucky you learn a new one.
Marivel
Use skill drain to learn new moves
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Personal Skills | IDXB004 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
You can learn skills by paying PS points. You get one PS point every time you
level up. Once you have a skill you can not trade it back to choose your
skills well.
Here I'll describe the road I recommend to take, taking in consideration
that you use Ashley, Brad and Lilka as your main team.
- Ashley & Brad
First of all start with Restore HP and Convert HP. Do this in a balanced
way, so not all at one skill. Do this until it's full.
When that's done go for Critical.
You may want Up HP, but you can do without it.
Guarding against serveral status changes can do a great deal
- Lilka
Not so much diffrent from Ashley & Brad, but an Up HP can be helpful for
her to do in an early state of the game, since Lilka's HP are not much.
- Tim
Take just one level of convert HP. For the rest Restore HP and Up HP can
do a lot. Focuss then on all status changes resistance skills.
Especially blocking
- Kanon
Much the same as Tim. When you go for status changes, have confusion to
be max first.
- Marivel
If you want to use Marivel a lot then at least one level of Convert HP will
help a lot. Restore HP is important too, since having her recruited will
obligate you to use her in at least one boss fight (The final boss is set
up that way that you always use ALL characters). Then focus on status
change resistance.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Walkthrough | IDXC000 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
When the game starts you must pick one of the three main characters. That
will open a prologue of that character, when it's completed you must pick
another. Once all prologues are completed the game will truely start in
Meria Boule.

- Exit straight ahead
- Go straight until you see a man standing in front of a big hole.
Speak to him and he'll move aside. Jump into the hole.
- Speak to the guy left of you to receive the Hurl Knife.
He'll demonstrate how it works.
Drop off.
+-- ADDITIONAL -------------------------------------------------------------+
You can check the room the guy opened to get a heal berry. Very handy
item in this stage of the game.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Exit through the other door
- Follow the way exit at the end of the way
- Go up the stairs exit North East
- You're in the main hall again.
Throw the Hurl Knife at the target across the gap.
Exit through the door that opens.
- Follow the road. Exit South
- Follow the road, but don't exit through the door, go east in stead and
exit through that door.
- No watch out. There are traps here.
Just watch out not cross bridges carelessly. If you fall down you can
come back here and try it again.
- Exit North
- Cross the bridge and exit at the end of the road.
- Okay, watch out for traps. Follow the roads as I say here. When I call
a direction you walk until you come across another crossing
- South to the man
- From the man west 3 tiles
- South 1 tile
- West 3 tiles
- North 1 tile
- West all tiles
- South 3 tiles
- East all tiles

- North all tiles
- West all tiles

- West 4 tiles
- North all tiles
- West 5 tiles
- South 3 tiles
- East 1 tile
- South all tiles
- Exit South
- Drop off North. Ask to the man if you want to be recovered.
Exit North
- You can use the Stone as a savespot. Save if you need and exit North
- Go all the way west, and exit south
- Follow the road to the exit
- Go up the stairs and take the little road till you are in one line with
the target from the east. Throw your knife against the stone and it'll
fall on the target. Remember that this is possible, cause you'll need to
do things like that a lot later in the game.
Exit South
- Go all the way down, exit west
- Go North

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
That settles the first prologue. If you did the other 2 continue at Meria

- Start going North, Exit North
- Keep going North
- Drop off NE, Exit North.
- Continue going North, Exit North
- Drop off North, Exit North
- You'll meet a dog. This dog will follow you around for awhile.
Don't pay much attention to it, it's just a scenario thing, the game will
not be affected by it in any way.
Exit East
- Enter the house
- Save the game if you like and exit east
- Open the chest to receive the tool "Kick Boots".
Exit West twice
- You can kick the gate beside the house for some extra treasure
Exit West
- Go North, Exit North
- Follow the road, Exit North
(Pick up and throw away the crates that block your path)
- When you reach the cable lift, kick the pole on which the cable is attached
to ride the cable lift.
Exit North
- Prepare for a boss and head north.

Getting rid of its Belly is nice. That removes its most powerful move.
If you want to use ARMS, good idea, but only use them with Lock-On. Your

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this fight it's not over. You'll end up on the world map.
- The game will explain how the world map works and most of all the searching
system. That system will be needed to locate towns and dungeons.
Good, read the sign. It'll mention T'Bok village. Go North untill you reach
the bushes, now go west, until your out of the bushes. Go north until you
see a brown "spot" on the floor. Press the tool-button to search.
T'Bok will appear. Enter it to complete this prologue.
(You will have the opportunity to name the dog now. Remember the name
you give it. Default is Rassyu. The Dog's name will be asked again later)
If you've done the other prologues contine in Meria Boule or else take on
another prologue.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Millenium Puzzle/Palace village (Lilka's Prologue) (R01) | IDXC003 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Lilka 1
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After some scenario the game will take you into the Millenium Puzzle.
After some explanation you'll get control over Lilka.
You'll have her Fire Staff Tool by default so that makes things easy already.
- Exit South by touching the crystal (exiting is always done by touching
crystals in this dungeon, so this will be the only time I say it).
- Save it you like and exit south.
- Drop off south
Stand on the grey tile, and use your fire staff aimin on the block west of
you.
Go south until you are in one like with the magic block east.
Shoot it with the fire staff.
Now shoot the block west of you.
Drop off south.
Exit west
- Go west, then south. When you cannot go further, stay on the spot when
shooting the block on the north.
Continue south, drop off south twice, exit south
- Go south until the road is blocked.
Shoot the block with the flame staff
Go south 1 tile and shoot the block again
Stand on the moving tile south of you and shoot the magic block from here.
Exit east
- Follow the road and drop off south at the end of it.
Shoot the magic block to get rid of the road block and go south
Exit South
- Go all the way south. Stand on the gray tile, shoot the magic block
south, and you'll be lifted to the exit crystal. Use it.
- You're back in the main chamber
Shoot the block. (You can exit south if you need to save and come back)
Exit West (from main chamber)
- Go east past the light gray tiles, and shoot the east block from there.
Now shoot the west block.
Go upstairs using the ramp
Cross the bridge south, exit south
- Just follow the road, exit west
- Drop off west
- Stand on the light-gray tile, and shoot the magic block to go up.
Exit North
- Stand in the middle, and stand on the west gray tile.
Drop off west from here
Go west, step on the grey tile and shoot the magic block on the west.
Exit west
- Stand on the grey tile and shoot the block to be lifted up to the exit
Use it.
- Back in the main chamber. Shoot the block and the east exit comes
available. Exit east.
- Stand on the most east light grey tile, and shoot the east magic block
from here.
- Okay, listen closely, I only say this once.
You can stand on the colored tiles to lift them. If you keep standing
on them they keep lifting, if you drop off they stop. You need to drop
off in time to make them lift enough blocks to break the code.
Red - 1
Yellow - 2
Blue - 3
Green - 3
Exit east
- In the next room I guess you know the recipe by now.
- You'll be back in the main chamber. Shoot the block to conclude this
dungeon.
Okay, now the dungeon is done, but the prologue is not yet over.
You'll end up in Palace village, which is in panic.
Leave the house.
The woman standing on the North acts as a save spot. These women can be found
in every town in order to save the game. Now go to the east city wall and
talk to the man here.
Then talk to the man in front of the south gate.
Then talk to the man in the South-East corner of town.
Now Lilka will start to sum up what she found out, and that will start
a boss battle.
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Boundless Glutton Monster OLIVIER
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Olivier, Legs
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Lilka 2
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
If you act exactly as I say, you cannot loose.
First turn, attack its legs.
Now keep using Freeze on its legs one turn, and the other turn heal
yourself. Repeat this sequence until the legs are out.
When the legs are out, heal yourself, then use fire on Olivier, and then
heal yourself, and then another fire, and so on until the monster is dead
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Now you've completed Lilka's prologue. If you have completed the other two
prologues you can continue at Meria Boule, otherwise you have to take on the
other prologues.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Meria Boule | IDXC004 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Ashley 3
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After completing the prologues you'll automaticly end up in Ashleys bedroom.
Leave the room, go downstairs and leave the house.
Outside you'll meet Tony, Scott and Tim. (Yes, Tim is a party member, but
he won't join the party yet. That comes much later in the game, so don't
worry about that). They will ask you for help. If you refuse the game will
skip the chase-the-cat part, if you agree you can do the chase-the-cat quest
in order to get a crest cap.
+--- Chase-the-cat ---------------------------------------------------------+
Go back into the bakery again, and go upstairs, climb the ladder to get
on the roof. The cat will run away by the sight of you. Follow it, and
keep following it, until it gets out of your range by jumping back to the
bakery's roof using the lamp post. Now speak to the guy who's standing
by the hole in the roof. Accept his help to catch the cat. Now drop off
the roof and enter the bakery again. Go once again upstairs and climb the
ladder and your on the roof again. Follow the cat again, and the guy at
the hole will chase the cat into the hole. Jump into the hole. The cat
is beside the south bed. You can now catch it, the cat will offer no more
resistance. With that you completed this quest, and you get a crest cap
a reward
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Regardless if you took on the chase-the-cat mission Tim will give you the
Grudiev medium. This medium will boost your stats when you equip it, and
gives you an extra battle command (located under the star). Later in the
game you may even use it to summon guardians, but that comes much later.
Now Ashley will receive a letter which tells him he's been accepted in some
kind of private army called "ARMS". You'll end up on the world map and
you'll have to go to the sword cathedral.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sword Cathedral | IDXC005 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Ashley 3
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Once on the world map go straight west. When the west beach comes into
view go North. When close to the mountain you gotta search (tools button)
The Sword Cathedral will appear.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Once inside you'll get an introduction of ARMS and a small movie that
explains the history of the Sword Magess. After that movie, you'll be in a
great all where a reception is being hold. Now talk to the commander who is
at the east side of the south table.
Now a great event will take place. All soldiers, including you will
transform into monsters. Now the actual mission begins. You can just move
and fight, but your forces and special abilities are disabled.
Now the way is easy. You just have to go all the way north to get into the
chamber where the sword ceremony was hold. But I strongly recommend to take
out all monsters that wolk around here. They do give a lof of EXP, and that
will be the first missions after this a lot easier.
After having gone all the way north you'll find the stone containing the
guardian blade Argethlam. After that you'll get a vision of the sword magess.
After this whole sequence you'll be a human again and end up once again in
your bedroom.

| Meria Boule II | IDXC006 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 6 | Lilka 3 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After waking up go downstairs and leave the bakery and you'll meet with Lilka.
She'll cry for help, and of course you help her. After finding out that you
want to visit Lord Valeria, she'll join the party.
+--- ADDITIONAL ------------------------------------------------------------+
Now is the good time to start out with your personal skills. See the
personal skills section for the road I recommend
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Leave the town of Meria and head for Valeria Chateau.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Valeria Chateau | IDXC007 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 6 | Lilka 3 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
From Meria head south. On your west you may see a higher platform. That's
where the chateau is located. If you walk around it via the North, you'll
easily reach it
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Upon arriving you'll have a sequence. Irving has formed a new ARMS after the
old ARMS has been destroyed and Ashley and Lilka will be the first fighting
members of that new team. So that sums up how the game will work. From now
on all actions your party take are in the name of ARMS and all party members
will be members of ARMS.
Good having your situation explained we'll get on with the game once the
sequence is over.
- Exit this room
- Exit west and you'll get in an elevator
- If you go to floor 2, you might get your hand on 2 guardians (stored in
chests over this floor).
Floor 1 is your next target for the main quest.
- From the elevator head all the way east, and keep going east until you
meet a childish and a calm woman.
After they told you you got in a restricted area, you can go back to
the elevator and aim for floor 3.
- Go North and enter the most north room (on the east)
- Irving will be here. If you tell him you're ready, you'll be "briefed"
for your next mission.
Ashley will be in trouble and sent to prison with Lilka going with him as
escorte. You'll end up in Illsveil Prison. Since Lilka is only a guard and
Ashley a prisoner, Lilka will be on her own for a short while.

| Ashley 6 | Lilka 3 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Before you start. If Lilka needs healing you can speak to Ashley and he'll
heal her wounds. Having said that, we're going to rescue Ashley.
- Head north, until you see a terminal on your left.
Examine it, and kill it.
Exit North
- Search all the lockers for some extra equipment for Lilka and items, but
watch out for the automated gun on the west. (You can destroy it with your
fire rod).
Exit south
- Exit using the stairs
- Now you need to cross the bridge, but watch out. There are automated guns
at both sides of it. Use your fire rod to get rid of them.
Exit south
- Go east. Ignore the doorway at the top of the ramp. Keep going east, and
take the doorway most east.
- Another bridge with guns at both sides of it.
Destroy them with your fire rod and continue.
Exit North by stairs.
- Take the south road, examine the terminal and kill the security system.
Exit North
- Now be careful.
+----------------+ This is what the room looks like
| G1 | G1 = Gun 1
| G2| G2 = Gun 2
| * +---------+ * = Stand on this spot
| > > = Door
| | ^ = Entrance
+--^---+
As I said, stand on the spot I marked with *.
Shoot from here a fireball to gun 1.
Now you can safely get straight south of gun 2
Destroy it.
Now kill the security on the terminal to open the door, and exit though
that door.
- Save if you want and search the lockers. You'll find Ashley's equipment
(and more, equipment of an unknown person).
And a jail card.
Exit this room
- Exit south
- Exit using the stairs
- Exit south
- All the way west, and take the most west doorway.
- Exit North using the stairs
- Take the south road, and you'll be at Ashley's cell again.
Talk to him if you need healing. After that open his cell with
the jail card. Talk to Ashley to give him his equipment back, and Ashley
will join the party again.
Now go north again, and exit using the stairs.
- Exit south
- Now exit through the middle door.
- Go up the stairs and exit west
- Take position if front of the guard, and let Ashley throw a knife to him.
Exit North
- Go downstairs and exit east
- Exit North
- Go North, but watch out for the automated guns. Destroy them with your
Hurl Knife or your Fire Rod
Exit North
- Destroy the gun and walk west, and take the most west doorway.
(Destroy the gun near there)
- Cross the bridge (watch out for the guns. Destroy them) and exit south.
- Now search the cells. Brad is in one of them. Use the jail card to open
his cell and talk to him. He'll join the party.
Now let Brad kick the terminal beside his cell.
Exit south
- Destroy the gun (tricky) and search the lockers. Exit North
- Exit by stairs
- Exit North
- Let Brad kick open the middle door and exit through it.
- Before heading to the Warden, exit West
- Search the lockers. One of them contains a Crest (Handy to get Lilka
new spells).
- Exit East
- Speak to the warden

handle the problem. So with that your next target is set.

This guy is a master of poison. Don't even try to cure it, since that's
simply a waste of antidotes. Save those for after this battle. If you got
a moonstoon, I advice to equip it on Ashley, for he'll meet this guy a

- Kick the loose block at the North-West. Pull it twice
- Go North, push the block out and go through the doorway.
Now follow the road, but watch out for spikes coming out of it.
At the end you can go east for a Lucky Card, and west to continue the road.
Just follow the road and exit west.
- Flip the lever (watch out for the spikes) and exit west
- Follow the road, but watch out for spear traps. Running can avoind being
hit. At the end of the road, exit south.
- Follow the road, but watch out for the spear traps. Running is all you can
do but watch out not to fall of the road when you do.
Exit south
- Run all the way east (watch out not to fall off at the end).
Throw a knife at the target.
Run back to the door, and exit north.
- Save if you need and exit north
- Leave the door alone. It's a trap. Just exit north
- Open the second door from the North, and exit through it.
- Kick the piece of wood from the north. Kick it again from the south
and kick it again from the north (look out for spikes). The door will open.
Exit east
- Lilka has to light the brazier with her Flame Rod. Tricky because of the
spears, so time it right.
Exit east
- Exit south
- Throw the switch. (Needs serveral attempts before success).
Enter the west room and talk to the people in there.
Lilka and Brad will temporary leave the party, and Ashley will be alone
for awhile.
Leave the room and exit south

- Go south, don't be afraid of the guilotines, they are more there to scare
you than to trap you.
Exit south.
Well, I'm against church, but even so I hope that those who do believe in
church are not offended by what Judecca did to Lilka and Brad. Just a fair
warning. Anyway, the scene will result in a boss fight.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Ashley 12
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Well, now we'll get to see Ashley's secret powers. Ashley is now
transformed in "The Black Knight". This not only makes him stronger and
faster. He has 2 new moves at his disposal. "Hot Fencer" and "Banisher".
"Hot Fencer" is a strong attack. "Banisher" is an ultimate attack but
will transform Ashley back into a human, and we don't want that to happen
do we. So keep using Hot Fencer until its dead. Of course use healing
bnerries when your HP is low, but if you use the Personal Skill settings
according to my recommendations, that might not happen too much. If you
have the moonstone, equip it, will ya!
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this battle, Ashley will get the "Access" force. When Ashley has 100FP
he can use this force to turn into the Black Knight again. This skill can be
very handy for boss fights.
After this you'll end uo in Sylvaland Castle.

Just go to the exit of the castle.
Here you'll meet the villagers of Halmetz.
Irving will speak to them on behalf of ARMS.
After this all you'll be back in Valeria Chateau.
You will get your next missions. 2 this time, and you make take them on
in the order you like.
+----- ADDITIONAL ----------------------------------------------------------+
It can be an idea to go to Halmetz. Now that the villagers are back. They
do have new equipment for sale

Go to the Life Reflector and set it to "Ruins Mine" (red one). Then
teleport. Leave the life reflector. Then go south until you cannot go
further. then go all the way west. The village is near the grey rock most
west
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Go to the in and once there go upstairs. Search the beds to find Brad's
second tool, the Bomb. If you cannot find them try the Booty Call. That may
help to locate them easily.
Not leave the Inn and enter the mine of which the entrance is located in
this village.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Aguel Mine Shaft (R02) | IDXC00L |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 14 | Brad 13 | Lilka 13 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
First of all, if you don't have the bombs yet, get them from the Inn at Holst
- Exit West
- Follow the corridor, and blow up the rocks at the end with your bombs.
Exit north
- Exit North
- Here the road will split in two.
The left road leads to a Crest, the right road leads further into the
dungeon.
- Just follow the corridor and exit east at the end.
- Save if you need.
Cross the bridge and exit north
- You can go east for some treasures (and the ARM "AM Cluster")
In this room, switch the lever to open the barrier
Exit north
- Follow the corridor and exit north
- Place bombs at the eastside of the device and wait for them to explode.
If it works the device should open an exit.
Exit west.
- Place multiple bombs at the stone at the north. Keep doing that until
it blows up. Exit north
- Now, this needs good timing. The blocks will go up as you place bombs
but they will go down. You need them all up in order to continue, so
time is money.
The trick is
= Not to stop walking when you place the bombs
= Don't run! Running requires more time, odd as it may sound.
Exit north when the door is open
- Open the chest to acquire the aguelite and with that conclude this dungeon.
If you've done the Rayline Observatory continue with the next "On Leave"
session, do else the Rayline Observatory first.

_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Elemental Spirit UNDINES
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Undines, Belly
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka No Wild Arms without me | Difficulty: Medium |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 15 | Brad 15 | Lilka 15 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Undines is extremely fast, and don't bother using Quick to cover that up
because you'll never catch up with him. Only Accelerator can beat him to
it. So you need to time things right in order to heal, since you must
always remember that in each turn Undines makes the first moves, and he
has a few powerfull attacks. Nothing serious though. He can cancel your
moves, but honestly that's only annoying. Not threathening. As long as
you always keep his speed in mind, there's no serious trouble
(Using Access here is senseless. By the time you can use it and deal
serious damage with it, Undines is mostly already dead)
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Okay now you're gonna meet the biggest idiots Filgaia has ever seen. Two
lizards who claim to be scientists. Liz, who is overcofident, but basically
clumsy in everyting, and his assistant Ard, who only can say "Ard". Even
Ashley and company do not take them seriously. You're stuck with these two
for the rest of this dungeon, so be prepared to be annoyed A LOT!!!
- Exit North
- Here is an impossible situation to cross, but Liz and Ard will come to
your aid with their "Friendship Cross". Cross the bridge they'll create
and flip the lever on the other side, to release Liz from being stuck on
his little island. Exit north.
- Follow the corridor, exit north.
- Go North, and you'll trigger a trap. Don't worry, you'll automaticly
escape it. Press the switch, do go for it again. All of you will escape
the trap automaticly except for Ard who is too slow. And I know what you're
thinking, but alas you got to help him. I hate that as much as you do.
Pull out the most east statue and move it into the trap, so Ard can get
out.
Exit West
- Follow the corridor and exit west
- Open the chest for a headgear for Lilka and drop off west.
Another obstacle in which Liz and Ard will help once again with the
Friendship Cross. This time you cannot get Liz out, but DO WORRY! You'll
have to get him out later.
Exit South
- Save if you need and exit south.
- Go west. Drop off west. Pull the block west 3x, and push it south once.
A bridge created. Cross it and exit west.
- Go downstairs and exit east.
- Pull the north block north once
Push it west twice
Pull the south block south once
Push it east once
Push it North until you cannot go further
Pull it west once
Push it west twice
Now you have a bridge to cross. Do so and exit east.
- Flip the lever, and NO NO LIZ IS NOW FREE! Shit happens!
After you freed Liz, exit West.
- Go cross the room and exit west
- Exit south
- Examine the stone face. Ashley cannot operate it. Ard will help but get
stuck in with with his tail. Walk to the other side of that face and kick
it to get Ard out.
Exit south
- Follow the corridor and exit west
- Another time in which you have to rely on Liz and Ard. Liz will operate
the switch for you, and fall in the pit in the process. Exit west.
- Go up the stairs, and follow the road here. When you're all up North you
can go for the chest as it contains the BoltAction cartridge for Ashley,
but then you have to do this room all over again. After that exit North.
- Follow the corridor and exit south at the end
- You'll find Liz being dizzy. Get him back to himself with either your
hurl knife or your fire rod.
Go south and open the chest to get Germatron.
That concludes this dungeon, however Liz and Ard will not agree in having
you taking in. Not to mention that they were hired by Odessa (Trust me,
even Odessa doesn't take these losers seriously).
And so we gotta fight.

Targets: Liz, Ard
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka The Idiot Duo | Difficulty: Medium |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 16 | Brad 16 | Lilka 16 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
I hate these idiot, but their battle tune is actually cool. Enough on
in the first turn Liz will poison Ard. Why he does that is beyond me, but
who cares. The second turn Liz will use a homemade bomb that damages
everybody including themselves. These bombs are particulairy dangerous so
get rid of Liz first. Ard can only do physical attacks which are strong
but he's less dangerous than Liz. Once Liz is out Ard may already have
lost half his HP by the poison, so taking him down shouldn't cause any
problems. Access is not required here, but it can cover things up I
suppose
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After beating these two the dungeon is really concluded. If you haven't done
the Aguel Mine Shaft yet then go to Holst, if you have then get on with the
next "On Leave" session.

Go back to Valeria Chateau. You can get there by using the Life Reflector
with "Green Forest" as target (blue).
Once in the Chateau you'll be briefed about the EMMA motor. Not your concern
you're now on leave. Go to the town of Meria.
You'll see a scene of Tony, Scott and Tim being pursued by strange men.
This Leave will change into your next small mission. Dealing with Aphael.

Most of its attack can be dealt with easily and require no further

Radio Frequency). It hurts all party members and can ocasionally cause
instant death. This is a good battle to try out your Access ability on
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this fight your next target will be the village Baskar.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Baskar | IDXC00P |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

get off the chateau. Baskar is located most North of this piece of the
world map. Can't miss it
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Upon arriving you'll get some things explained and Tim will hereby join your
party. When you have control over the game you can control only him.
Enter the hut on the east and examine the thing that's on the table.
Now you'll meet Colette. A girl Tim will get some kind of bond with.
After that you'll be briefed on the trial Tim has to take on.
+---- ADDITIONAL -----------------------------------------------------------+
NOW THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT ADVICE! YOU'LL REGRET IT IF YOU IGNORE IT
ONCE YOU'VE TAKEN ON THE TRIAL ARENA YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE IT, SO
BEFORE DOING SO, GET YOUR ASS TO MERIA FIRST REFILL AMMO AND SUCH IF YOU
NEED BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, MAKE SURE THAT TIM GETS PERSONAL SKILLS. THE
NEXT DUNGEON CONTAINS A PART TIM MUST TAKE ON ALONE, AND SINCE HE'S BY
THE WEAKEST PARTY MEMBER YOU'LL EVER GET THESE SKILLS CAN SAVE YOUR ASS!!
(See the personal skill section for which skills he should take)
NOT TO MENTION THAT WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE DUNGEON YOU'LL GET 4 BOSSES IN
A ROW, NOT TO MENTION A BOSS HALFAWAY THE ARENA AND THE NEXT MISSION
COMES STRAIGHT AFTER IT WITHOUT ANY INTERUPTIONS! THAT DUNGEON ALSO
CONTAINS A BOSS, SO 2 DUNGEONS AND 6 BOSSES WITHOUT RESTING OR REFILLS
SO BE PREPARED BEFORE TAKING ON THE TRIAL ARENA!!!

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
OKAY! IF YOU'RE NOT PREPERED RESET YOUR PLAYSTATION AND LOAD A SAVEGAME.
ONCE YOU'RE IN YOU CANNOT LEAVE THE TRIAL ARENA. I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH
- Go North and meet Pooka. Talk to it, and it'll join you as Tim's first tool
Exit North.
- Press one button, and send Pooka out to press the other.
Exit North
- Exit East
+---- ADDITIONAL -----------------------------------------------------------+
- Stand on the North grey platform and use Pooka to activate the switch.
Exit North. (Gotta act quick)
- Press a button have Pooka to press the other, and you can obtain a
heart leaf. Exit south
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Stand on the grey plaform south. Press the button to reach the exit.
- Exit North
- You can reach the chests with Pooka.
Both contain a crest. Exit North.
- Exit North
- Exit West
- This one is tricky, and be prepared to have it to do over again and again.
Stand close to the ramp, but still with the switch in Pooka's Range.
Let Pooka reach for the switch and get onto the ramp and over the
platforms as fast as you can. One fraction of a second of hesitation will
make you fail.
Once up the same recipe, but this time a lot easier. Hit the switch with
Pooka and get over the platform quickly.
Exit North
- Follow the corridor. The middle south door leads to two mini carrots.
Exit east.
- Boss time.

| need her? | |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 18 | Brad 17 | Lilka 17 | Tim 18 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
A good opening would be to let Lilka cast "Rise & Shine" on herself. Odd
as it may sound. It has sleeping spells and "R&S" does not only wake you
up from it. It also prevents that you fall asleep. I advise not to use
ARMS in this fight, because you'll need your AMMO later.
Lilka's Fire spell works best.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Exit East
- Save if you need and exit North. From this point Tim will have to deal with
the rest of the dungeon alone.
- Let Pooka press the switch and run over the bridges as fast as you can.
(Watch out, there's only 3 of them).
Then repeat the same sequence, and exit North.
- Same story as before (only 2 bridges this time for the rest same story).
Exit North
- Exit North
- Drop off North
The west exit leads the treasure the North-East one continues the quest.
Getting there is tricky.
Stand as close to it as possible with Pooka in switch range.
Send Pooka to press the switch and get to the exit

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka Miss Beam | Difficulty: Hard |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 18 | Brad 18 | Lilka 18 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Of all your fights against Odessa, the ones against Antenora are by far
the hardest. Also forget the attitude that men shouldn't hit women if you
want to live to tell the tale. Antenora has two moves. Shockwave which
hits your entire party, but that's not half as bad as her Emphemeron.
it hits only one character, but causes all kinds of nasty status changes
as added bonus. You can do yourself a favor by opening this battle by
casting Rise & Shine on Lilka, so that Antenora cannot put her to sleep.
Putting a lot of lead into her, so no shame, cause the next bosses are
not half as bad as she is.

Targets: Judecca
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka I love being evil | Difficulty: Easy |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Tim 19
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Antenora may have been the hardest among Odessa. Judecca is by far the
easiest of them all. And the fact that Tim is alone in this fight does
not make this fight any harder. But one warning still needs to be in
order. If you are unlucky Tim can get paralyzed and if that happens the
game is practically over. You can protect Tim with a blue anklet
For the rest his attacks are pathetic except for one. "Miriam".
And Miriam does approx 360 points damage, so make sure Tim has always
more than that. If Tim has "First Aid" this battle is A LOT easier than
it already was. If you have any guardian except Odoryuk equipped then
summon it each time you can summon it safely without leaving too little
FP for First Aid. (Three force levels is best).

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
First of all I recommend to put Tim in the back row and have Ashley, Brad
and Lilka at the front row. The arrow symbol in the combat menu allows
you to change. Furhtermore, its pouches have some very nasty moves
especially the left one. Getting rid of those does help. It may scare you

The target is easy. When the Verukisas crashes, it lost 3 data tablets.
All 3 of them are in the inner sea. The data on it could contain valuable
information on Odessa's next move, so you gotta collect them for analysis.
You start in Meria Boule. Leave the town of Meria and head all the way west.
At the beach you'll find your hovercraft
Board it and the game will explain how it works.
Now follow the northern coastline. When you see a beach on your north, search
and you may find tablet 2
Now continue following the northern coastline as it'll become an western
coastline.
When you encounter the next beach you found yourself another tablet.
(Tablet 3).
From this point cross the inner sea straight to the east. When you got the
map-scope, you'll see you bump into a giant penynsula. Pass it from the
North-side until you come across a small island east of it.
Search near the beach of that island to get Tablet 1.
Now give a call to Valeria Chateau
You'll be ordered to go back to Meria Boule Castle.
Well sail east, when you reach the shore you can see the beach on your noth
dock there, and from there Meria Boule is just all the way east.
And that concludes this mission.
Your next mission will be to go to Sielje, but you cannot go there directly.
You have to go to Damzen first
There are 2 ways to get there. By hovercraft sailing south, docking at the
first beach you find, which is the way I recommend. Or you can take on the
under traffic again. Guess you don't want that.
In Damzen go to the saloon and speak with the guy most north.
He'll give you a boss symbol.
Now head for the Mt. Chug-Chug

Remember where it is. The cave all the way east of Damzen
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Use the boss symbol on the south door and exit south.
- Follow the path and exit south
- Follow the south path until you reach your first square.
From there head east, exit east
- Take the Dead-Or-Alive cartridge for Ashley
Exit West
- Go east till the square, turn south there
Follow the road and exit west
- Op the chest and get the Freeze Rod. New tool for Lilka
Exit East
- Follow the road till the brazier and put it out with your freeze rod.
Keep heading north till the next square and go west there and
put the other brazier out.
Now head east, and at the crossing close to the Dead-Or-Alive exit
head south, and you see that the exit is blocked by the last brazier.
Put that one out as well.
Now you can exit south.
- Get on the wooden catwalk and go east, then drop off north, there's a
block here. Move it to the south-wall then move it one place west.
Now take the ramp to get on the wooden catwalk again, and shoot the
target with the Hurl-Knife
The two blocks should be on top of each other beside the exit now.
Getting to the exit should now be easy. Exit south
- Exit South
- Whether or not you take on the ramp is up to you. The stone catwalk has
some traps in it, but falling for that on purpose makes you get extra
treasure.
In the end you have to exit south
- This puzzle is funny. Two boxes (one out of reach) and two pressure plates
Pull the one you can reach all the way north onto the pressure plate.
Then push it east onto the other plate
Now you can reach the other crate
Pull that one east once and north twice
Now pull the first box to the west pressure plate, and now you got a bridge
you can cross.
Do so and exit east
- This is just a corridor. Follow it and exit at the end of it.
That concludes this dungeon and the way to Sielje is now free.

Go south and go west as soon as you can. Somewhere here (hard to spot) is
the entrance to the magic city of Sielje.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Upon entering step into the forcefield to enter the city
- You'll meet Terry, after your talk with him you can go.
Walk around the big building in the center until you are north of it.
Enter the building now north of you and go up the stairs
- Up the stairs go North and exit west
- Speak to the man in the brown coat (McGregor).
Now a long sequence will start.
At the end of this sequence the Data Tablets are stolen and you have
to go after the thieves.
Leave Sielje and go to the gate bridge.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
From Sielje head East (I know you were told to go west, but ignore that
going west will get you nowhere).
When you can no longer go East, go south, the road will lead you to the
west. NOW you can go west with this road and you'll reach the bridge
which is on the map by default, no searching required.
You got a Gate Key from McGregor in Sielje. Use that to unlock this
dungeon so you can enter.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Well, they're here. Liz and Ard. Those guys were clever enough to raise
the bridge so you can't cross. Brad will lower the bridge and then the system
needs to recharge, which gives you 5 minutes to clear this dungeon. When
you're out of time, Liz and Ard will probably raise the bridge so you have
to start over. One good thing is, during combat the time is frozen.
The silver and red balls floating around here will release monsters as you
touch them. You may either fight or avoid them, but watch your time!!!
Let's get started shall we.
- Exit West
- Exit West
- Throw a knife at the target
Now watch out. If you're not careful the door will close again.
The switch for that is made this way
===================
*
*
* *
* *
*
*
===================
Exit west
- Exit West
- Walk towards the door
if you saw a line under your feet get darker, you're past the trap switch
Throw a knife to the target from there.
Exit west
- Exit West
- No tricks here, just exit west
- Now the timer will stop. Just cross the bridge and exit west.

You've been here before in Brad's prologue. And the way is exactly the same
except for 3 diffrences. First, the enemies are stronger, and second, since
you already have the kick boots, you don't have to go to that house again
(unless you want to save your game halfaway). Third, there's no boss anymore.
So off you go.

Search for the dog and talk to it. Merril the girl who nursed Brad in the
prologue will appear. You'll have to retype the dog's name again.
Remember it? If you didn't change the name of the Dog that should "Rassyu",
but it really doesn't matter whether or not you type it right.
Merril will show you one of Brad's Brothers-in-arms. Billy Pilder.
Now Brad will tell you about his activities in the Slayheim Liberation War.
And how Vinsfeld, the leader of Odessa was involved in all of it.
When the talk is over talk to the dog. He'll bring you your data tablets and
a teleport Orb. The data tablets have been erased, so they are worthless now.
Brad will suggest to go to Slayheim. And with that the city of Quartly is
your next target.

around the giant penynsula in the center. After the penynsula go straight
south and then west if you cannot go any further. You may end up at a
shore with a huge forest on it. Follow the coastline to the North and you
may see Baskar. Sail around Baskar into a small channel that starts here
Follow this channel until there's a beach on your left side (east). From
there is a channel to the right (west). Go in there. From there you can
see a beach. Dock there. North-East of you is a desert. Enter this desert
At the north of this desert is a gorge. Quartly is a city build as a
bridge over this gorge. Find the appropriate place for such a bridge to
be (it is marked with a darker spot) and search
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Go all the way north, until you meet a strange woman. She seems to know
Ashley. Why or how is something you'll learn later. Anyway, her name is Kanon
and she's a party member. Even though you can name her now she won't join
the party yet, that comes later. She wants you to help her in an
excorsism mission in Slayheim Castle. That marks your next target.
After your chat with Kanon you'll automaticly end up in the inn to discuss
things. Don't jump into conclusions about Brad in this whole thing. Well
after the discussion is done, you gotta leave Quartly at the Northside
and head for Slayheim Castle
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

When you leave Quartly at the North-side you'll be in the salt-plains. So
it's not snow you see. It's salt.
Now go all the way to the north. When you reach the northside of this
area follow the seashores to the east. Slayheim Castle is located right
South of the beach
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Now Slayheim castle is a brilliant dungeon. There are multiple routes you can
take to get things done here. That makes is wonderful for gamers who like a
challenge, but horrible for us Walkthrough-Writers. Basically you can do
much things here in random order or take multiple routes to reach the end.
I'll try to cover things as good as possible, but forgive me when it still
turns out very confusing. Okay
- Go up the stairs. From here there are two routes to take.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Antenora is already hard by herself. Not to mention that with Brad gone
and Tim replacing him, the strongest party member has been replaced by
the weakest. Since Tim can use First Aid to heal all party members and
since you can use him to summon Odoryuk to heal, you can make him useful
But that still makes this fight harder than the previous one. Start this

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 25 | Lilka 24 | Tim 25 | Kanon 24 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Liz and Ard are back, they do show some fighting spirit this time. Liz
will start by poisoning and diseasing Ard. After that he'll use a
"Chef's Whimpsy Bomb" which damages all including themselves. Problem is
that this time they are faster than Lilka, so speeding Lilka is a good
idea. If you have the chance to shield Lilka, do so, because she appears
to be Ard's favorite target, and Ard is stronger than ever. Go for Liz
first since he's the most dangerous one with his stupid bombs.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 25 | Lilka 25 | Tim 25 | Kanon 24 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
With Brad gone, and Kanon replacing him, this fight is twice as hard.
Kanon is pretty easily killed, so be prepared that Lilka will have a
hard time keeping herself and Kanon up. But getting Tim in is no
alternative. That guy is even more easily killed. Another problem is that
Lilka is once again too slow. So speeding her up is the first thing you
should do. Since you may not count on Kanon too much it's important that
you turn Ashley into the black knight ASAP! Having Hi-Revive is really
a recommendation to have, since you'll have to cast that a lot on Kanon
I'm afraid. As long as Ashley can do his Hot Fencer attacks you should
be able to beat him
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this battle Liz and Ard will flee and unless you take on the
side-quests, you'll never see them again. HURRAY!!!
- Examine the terminal and try to exit south. The communicator will go off.
Give a call to Valeria Chateau to conclude this mission
But then we get to see something happen. Brad's still alive.

After this battle you'll be briefed on the diablo pillar mission. And that
makes that you can now take on the Diablo Pillars in random order. One of

- Enter the west building by the most north door
- Blow up the crates to find a conductor. Take the conductor
Exit east
- Enter the north building
- Use the conductor to activate the elevator and go down with it.
- Pull both levers to open a door below. Go back up with the elevator
- Exit west
- Use Pooka to open the chest to find another conductor
Exit east
- Exit south
- Enter the east building (door most north)
- The duplicator door leads to some treasures, but you cannot get them all
before you get the mist cloak. But that's something you'll get on disc 2
so don't worry about that now. Just go up the stairs, and blow up the
north wall. Exit north
- Hook to the west
Hook to the south to get onto the center building
Walk to the northside of the building and drop into the pit that is at
the North-East corner of it.
- Pull the lever to open the door. This is now a quick entrance and exit
for later use.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Agressive Poltergeist JASOUL
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Jasoul, Right Claw, Left Claw
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka I look silly! | Difficulty: Medium |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 25 | Brad 25 | Lilka 25 | Tim 26 | Kanon 25 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Jasoul is all but hard. Most of his attacks are pathetic, and thus you
should not fear them. However Jasoul has a few deadly surprises. The
is an attack that damages all party members pretty harsh. But that can be
dealt with. The other is the move "Life Force" which sucks ALL your HP
out in order to heal itself. So if he's lost more HP as your character
has, he or she will always die. So having Revive Fruits or spells at the
ready is a good idea.

Additional Q&A:
Q: To me "Life Force" did no damage at all. How come when it's so
dangerous?
A: Probably went for the claws first and didn't hurt the main body.
It can only suck out as much HP as it needs to come to full HP
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this fight, it might be a good idea to go back to quartly to refill
your ARMS and then come back
- Exit North
You'll be in a life reflector. With it you can travel to snake road. Do so.
You may want the Holy Grail that is in a duplicator chest at the exit of
Snake Road.
leave the reflector here and exit to the worldmap.
From here you can access the Diablo Pillar Judecca.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 26 | Brad 25 | Lilka 26 | Tim 26 | Kanon 26 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
You can onlt reach this place by using the Life Reflector located in
the lost city of Archeim. Use it and you'll get on a piece of the
worldmap called "snake road". The pillar is at the end of it
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Diablo pillars have a couple of corridors and a couple of puzzels to pass.
I only go into the puzzles and bosses.
Important. Nearly all the enemies here can do is kill you instantly.
PUT THE HOLY GRAIL ON LILKA IF YOU WANT TO COMPLETE THIS DUNGEON!
Task #1:
Step on the platform an it will move. Try to dogde all the obstacles
it moves past. Tricky!
Task #2:
Beat the boss
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Red-Hot Lava Monster MAGMALIZER
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: magmalizer, Head
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka Too big to move | Difficulty: Easy |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 26 | Brad 25 | Lilka 26 | Tim 26 | Kanon 26 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This boss is by far too easy. One warning should be done though. Because
of its mirror coat you MUSTN'T DO MAGIC OF ANY SORT ON IT'S MAIN BODY
It'll backfire on the caster. So no attacking spells from either Tim or
or Lilka. Using that on the head is fine. For the rest this boss is too
easy to discuss.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Task #3:
Just a savespot. Save if you need.
Task #4:
This is once again a moving platform in which you must avoid being touched
by obstacles. This one is very hard and prepare to have to do this one
over and over again and again. Try to study every time it goes wrong to
learn all the locations of the obstacles by heart. That will make things
a lot easier.
Good luck
Task #5
Cross the bridge to the exit, but watch out. Obstacles circle around it.
Avoid being touched by them.
Task #6
Beat Judecca
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Special Cocytus Squad Member JUDECCA (Round 3)
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Judecca
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka Asshole with glasses | Difficulty: Easy |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 27 | Brad 26 | Lilka 27 | Tim 27 | Kanon 27 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Well the first (and last) time you get to fight Judecca with the whole
party and he's easier than ever. His Douglas is pathetic but it can
cause paralyse. His Sidewinder harms all party members, but is still no
big deal. His "Miriam" move is dangerous though. It can deal 1800+ damage
So watch out to let your HP not go below that.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this fight Judecca will die so this is the last you'll ever see of him
If you've done the other Diablo Pillars you can continue with Heimdall Gazzo
If not you should take on the other Diablo Pillars as well.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Diablo Pillar Caina (R03) | IDXC01A |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 27 | Brad 27 | Lilka 27 | Tim 28 | Kanon 27 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
To reach this one we need to fly with Valeria Chateau.
There's a landing pad south-east of Guild Galad. The pillar is near there
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Task #1:
Shoot the cube with Lilka's fire rod. This is harder because of the
obstacles. (The Freeze Rod or Air Ballet can also be used)
Do this three times and a bridge will appear. Cross it to reach the exit.
Task #2:
Walk to the center. Hit the cubes with you flame rod, freeze rod or air
ballet, but only the cubes. Hitting anything else will be punished by
getting you stuck. If that happens drop off and start over.
Do this three times and continue.
Task #3:
Beat the boss
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Shapeless Slime Monster DRAWDO
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Drawdo, Left head, Right head
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka DAMN! I'm ugly! | Difficulty: Medium |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 28 | Brad 27 | Lilka 28 | Tim 27 | Kanon 27 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Start with casting Rise & Shine on Lilka. For the rest just go for it
If you don't need Lilka for healing then let her cast fire spells
Watch out for nasty status changes
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Task #4
Savespot. Save if you need
Task #5
This room will be entirely dark as soon as you get off the pressure plates
and light again when you step on a pressure plate again. This makes this
room pretty tricky.
Try to memorize how big a "tile" is and go for it
= 3 tiles east
= 1 tile south (Lights again)
= Go south until you cannot move further
= Go east till the next tile
= Go 1 tile west
= 2 tiles north
= 1 tile west
= 2 tiles north
= East till the next light point
= 1 tile east
= 1 tile south
= East till blocked
= North till blocked
= 1 tile west
= 2 tiles north
= east till blocked
= North till blocked
= east till exit
Task #6
Fight Caina

| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Special Cocytus Squad Member CAINA (Round 2)
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Caina
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka Taste my key! | Difficulty: Can be hard |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 28 | Brad 28 | Lilka 28 | Tim 29 | Kanon 28 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Basically this battle is the same as before. but now that you can replace
little Timmy with Brad this fight is a lot easier. Her attacks are once
again pathetic, but watch out for 4D Hypo Blast though. (1700+ damage)
Once again the move you really gotta watch out for is "Gate Of Isolde"
which can put all possible status changes on you. Opening this fight
by casting Rise & Shine on Lilka makes at least that she cannot get the
nightmare status because of it.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Winning the fight completes this mission. If you have done the other Diablo
Pillars you can continue with Heimdal Gazzo. If not take on the other Diablo
Pillars.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Diablo Pillar Antenora (R03) | IDXC01B |

Task #2:
Memorize the pattern shown to you and activate the plates in the same
order.
Those orders are however not random but standard patterns.
Plates numbers according to a nummeric PC keyboard with camera set north
First time the pattern will be: 9-5-1-2-7-3-6-4-8
If you fail then the pattern will become: 2 7 4 3 5 9 8 1 6
If you fail then the pattern will become: 5 2 4 6 7 9 1 8 3
If you fail again then the pattern will be: 4 7 9 1 2 5 3 8 6
One more failure and the pattern will be: 3 8 1 4 9 6 5 7 2
If that fails the first pattern will be in order
Once you got it right exit north to complete this task
Task #3:
Beat the boss Prisnum
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Humanoid Mirrage PRISNUM
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Prisnum, Chest
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka I'm feeling blue | Difficulty: Medium |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 29 | Brad 28 | Lilka 29 | Tim 29 | Kanon 29 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Prisnum has no real special capabilities. All you must really watch out
of is its Tidal Wave which deals 1200+ damage to the entire party. This
is one of the few bosses that might force you to use Extend with a healing
spell. For the rest focus on the attack and you'll do fine.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Task #4
Savespot. Save if you need
Task #5
Guessing work. You need to hit all switches which your Freeze Rod
Flame Rod, Hurl Knife or Air ballet except for one.
Pick the wrong one and you gotta start over.
Alas, there's no telling which one the wrong one is.
So be prepared to be annoyed.
Task #6
Kill Antenora
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Special Cocytus Squad Member ANTENORA (Round 3)
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Antenora
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka Bye, bye, miss beam | Difficulty: Hard |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 30 | Brad 29 | Lilka 29 | Tim 30 | Kanon 29 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
You know the trade. Ephemeron which deals damage and status changes
Shockwave which damages all. Once again starting with Rise & Shine on
Lilka prevents a lot of trouble. Hitting her at full force works great
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this fight, you're rid of Antenora forever because she'll be DEAD!
And that completes this pillar. If you did the other pillars go for Heimdall
Gazzo. If not go for the other pillars first.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Diablo Pillar Ptolomea (R03) | IDXC01C |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 30 | Brad 29 | Lilka 30 | Tim 30 | Kanon 30 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This pillar can only be reached by hovercraft because it's in the middle
of the outer sea. Warp to Meria and take the hovercraft from ther, and
go all the way south. When the water gets darker you are at the right
place. Use the bionic eye to pinpoint the exact location
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Task #1
Use mutiple bombs to get rid of the rolling cubes. That's the official
method. The unofficial much easier method is to just turn your back to
the cubes when they start to roll. Do this with all the cubes and till
you reach the exit.
Task #2
The back-turn method won't help. You gotta blow up all cubes with bombs.
Time the setting of your bombs right since the cubes roll and the bombs
require time to go off. Not to mention, for each disappearing cube, the
others will roll faster. When all cubes are destroyed a bridge to the
exit will be formed.
Task #3
Beat Belleclaire
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Explosive Emperor Monster BELLECLAIRE
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Belleclaire, Drill, Chest
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka BANG! YOU'RE DEAD!! | Difficulty: Very Hard |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 30 | Brad 29 | Lilka 30 | Tim 30 | Kanon 30 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This guy is bad news. He's extremely slow but don't be fooled by it. He's
also extremely strong. Lilka, Kanon and Tim won't survive his attacks.
Ashley and Brad will but will still be hurt terribly. As long as Lilka is
alive you are quite save though. He mostly attacks only one person so
that makes it easy to catch up with him. He has a move that damages all
but that move is not very harmful. Let Brad and Ashley do the offense and
pray that Lilka doesn't become target of his heavy moves.
Don't bother casting Shield. If won't work! His attacks pierce your
defenses!
If you go for the Drill. When the Drill is out he'll use "Megaton Attack"
his strongest move. Keep that in mind!
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Task #4
Savespot - save if you need.
Task #5
Use the unofficial method. Go to the cubes to make them move and turn
your back against it. That's the easiest and the questest method to
get through this.
Task #6
Slay Ptolomea
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Special Cocytus Squad Member PTOLOMEA
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Ptolomea
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka URGH, one last time | Difficulty: Easy |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 31 | Brad 30 | Lilka 30 | Tim 31 | Kanon 30 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Well, this fight is not hard. You know the trade with Ptolomea and this
fight is just the same.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This fight means the end for Ptolomea so this is the last you'll ever see
of him.
And that completes this mission. If you've done the other pillars you can
proceed to Heimdall Gazzo. If not then you should take on the other diablo
pillars.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Heimdal Gazzo | IDXC01D |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 31 | Brad 30 | Lilka 31 | Tim 31 | Kanon 31 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Heimdal Gazzo is hard to find. First of all you can only find it with
with Valeria Chateau. Fly over the eastern coastline to the south.
Once in the snowy region around Sielje fly over the south-east penynsula.
From there fly south. If you see a shadow on the water. Fly to it and you

| aka Brainless pig | Difficulty: Medium, but dangerous |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 31 | Brad 30 | Lilka 30 | Tim 31 | Kanon 31 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
As you could expect Vinsfeld is not a guy to be taken lightly. He's
pretty fast so speeding up Lilka is recommended. His attacks are not
that strong. Like Caina he has 4D Hypo Blast, but that's not as strong as
Caina's version of that move. Really dangerous will things be when he
uses his move "Incur My Wrath". It deals quite a lot of damage and can
when you are unlucky even kill you instantly. And instant kill protection
stuff like "Holy Grail" won't protect you against it. That sums it all up
As to be expected from tbe "big guy" himself. He's got a lot of HP so
this is most of all a long fight.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Exit East
Now your party will split up. When I call a name you switch to that character
and keep playing from his or her position until I call another name.

- Kill Vinsfeld
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Leader of Odessa VINSFELD
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Vinsfeld
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka Brainless pathetic pig | Difficulty: Very extremely easy |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Ashley 31
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This fight is extremely easy. Particulairy when you've taken the road in
personal skills that I advised for Ashley. Which means going for Restore
HP. Overall Ashley will then regenerate more HP thanks to this skill than
Vinsfeld is able to cut off from you. His attacks are all extremely
pathetic. Here's the strategy. Keep using normal attacks until you FP is
100%. Then Use Access. In Black Knight form keep using normal attacks
until your FP is 50% then use Banisher. You'll turn into a human again
start this sequence all over. Persist in doing that and you win.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
By winning this battle you completed the first disc. Watch the sequence that
follows and put in disc 2 when the system asks you to. Once you inserted
disc 2 you'll resume the game in the Maze of Memory

Upon arriving in this dungeon Anastasia and Lucied will join the party.
These are temporary characters and they will leave the party as soon as you
finished this dungeon. So don't bother working them out. (For that reason
they were not included in my character section).
Well, I guess you already found out that Anastasia is the Sword Magess.
Lucied is the Guardian Of Desire. There's no medium for him, but you will
get use for him if you complete the sidequest Werewolf's Den, be sure to
check that sidequest out as soon as you can. :)
Anyway back to the present:
- Walk north and exit north
- Go North until an invisible wall blocks you.
Throw a knife to the target
A girl will come down. Speak to her.
(She's mysterious. If you take on the sidequests you might find out who
she is).
Exit North
- Go North until the invisible wall blocks you
Go around it by the east
Exit North
- Touch the crystal and you'll see a fragment of Anastasia's past
- Go east and go north till the pit blocks your path.
Then a little west. Throw a knife at the target to make an invisible
wall disappear. Exit North
- Step on the stairs and go north.
The strange girl is behind one of the pillars. Seek her out and speak to
her. After that throw a knife to the target on the west.
Drop off west. Go North and exit North
- Throw a knife at both targets and go north.
When another invisble wall blocks you go east then north, then west and
exit north
- Examine the crystal is another part of Anastasia's past.
You'll also see a part of Irving's past, as well.
- Take the west path and go all the way north
Throw a knife at the target
Go south, and you can cross over to the east side
Go from there all the way north and exit north
- Go all the way north. Tricky because of the invisible walls, but
you should make it.
There is a target.
Now turn the camera that way that you can see the mysterious girl
Only throw a knife at the target when she is checkered part.
When you mess up exit south and come back. When succesful the girl will
fall down. Speak with her.
Exit north
- Go north until the way is blocked. Throw a knife at the target
Another target appears. Throw a knife at that as well.
No go back south (DON'T EXIT) and take the west stairs to the north
Exit North
- Examine the crystal for another part of Anastasia's past
- Throw a knife at the target
Throw a knife at the other target (you may need to turn the camera to see
it).
Go all the way north and exit North
- Behind the pillar is a target. Throw a knife at it.
Behind the second pillar is also a target. Throw a knife at that, as well
Third pillar..... Guess.... :)
Now you reach the exit. The Girl is there too. Talk to her.
Exit North
- A pillar with a target behind it. Throw a knife at the target
And another pillar with a target behind it. Throw a knife at the target
Exit north
- Now you get to the final crystal and that finishes this dungeon
Now we resume the game with the rest of the party.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Brad 31 | Lilka 31 | Tim 32 | Kanon 31 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Since Ashley is still with Anastasia in Limbo, you have to do this dungeon
without him. I suggest to use Kanon to replace him.
Now this version of the Millenium Puzzle has 5 parts.
West, South-West, South, South-East and East
You can take them in random order.
When all parts are completed you've finished this dungeon.
Exit into the part you want to take and read on by that section
----- WEST -----
- Try to get over the moving tiles. Don't rush that. Patience works best
When you're across that exit south
- Drop off to the lower platform and exit east
- Cross the bridge and shoot with one of Lilka's Rods to both magic blocks
Stand on the bridge and drop off
stand on the tile that sticks out north and shoot at the magic block north
of it.
Move one tile forward and shoot the block
Move another tile north and shoot the block again
Exit north
- At the center of the bridge drop off
- Exit west
- Follow the road and exit north
- Shoot the block and the west part is concluded
----- SOUTH-WEST -----
- Step on the tile sticking out north east side of the magic block and
shoot the block, exit north
- Freeze the most east moving tile when it comes past the path.
Now get on it ASAP and try to get on the other which is still moving
(requires perfect timing). Exit North
- Follow the road and exit east
- Go north, exit north
- Follow the road and exit north
- Shoot the block and this part is completed

- Step to the last tile of the road and shoot the south block
Stop here on the most west tile and shoot the north block
Step on the second most south tile and shoot the south block
Step on the most south block and shoot the block again
Exit north
- Follow the road (DON'T DROP OFF) and exit east

Now Ashley will come back from limbo and the party is complete again.
Now that Odessa has gone we come into a new problem. Something is eating
away the sky. It's an omen that can lead to the end of the world.
Now comes the new task for ARMS investigate the source and eliminate it.]
Therefore two new missions will come up to start the search with.
The Grotto of Lourdes and Sacrificial Altar. Both can be taken in
Random Order.

Go to the town of Meria. If the Hovercraft is not docked by Meria then
use the Teleport Orb to Warp to Meria. Use the Hovercraft and keep

(if the skates make you exit then come back here)

You should bump onto the switch. If not skate south and try again.

be revealed. I guess you found out by now that Kanon's real name is
Aisha Bernadette Valeria.
Now Kanon will also get the Force "Gat - Level 3".
With that this dungeon is completed. If you did the sacrificial altar then
continue with the Lost Garden. If not then do the sacrificial alter first.

Warp to Baskar and enter Baskar. You'll be told about the Sacrificial
Altar. Stupid thing is that the dungeon has not yet become available.
from this room exit south. Talk with the guy in green, and tell you it's
located in the Urartu mountains. Now you can go there.

Warp to Guild Galad and go to your hovercraft. Sail around Guild Galad
to the east and keep close to the coast line. When you can go south, do
so. Dock at the second beach you encounter. Go all the way north here and
search
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This dungeon is as well part of the main quest, but also part of the
"Guardian Lords" sidequest which comes available after you've completed the
Trapezohedron.
However since it only saves you and me a lot of time I do the sidequest part
in this place, since you can already do the part of that sidequest.
(When you are in the room that involves that sidequest it's marked with *
in stead of -)
- Exit North
- You can throw a knife to form a bridge now go all the way until
one of the metal decorations is lower. Kick it and throw a knife at the

= Pull the east block north once
= Pull it west three times
= Push it south 4 times
= Push it east once
= Push it south once

If you've done the Grotto Of Lourdes then continue with Lost Garden
Else you shoud do the Grotto of Lourdes first

| Ashley 32 | Brad 31 | Lilka 31 | Tim 32 | Kanon 31 |

You're probably now in the final room of either the Sacrificial Altar or
The Grotto Of Lourdes. Give a call to Valeria Chateau from there. Now you
end up in the chateau leave it and go to your Hovercraft. If it's not in
the inner sea then warp to Damnzen and take the hovercraft from there.
Now sail to the giant penynsula. The Lost garden is located on the small
island to the east of it.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
ONE WARNING!
Right after this mission is the "Grauswein" mission which is pretty hard. So
if you need to take preperations do it before taking on this dungeon.
THEN ONE IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE YOU START
During this mission you have to leave all your party members behind in
order to proceed. I give recommendations, but in the end YOU decide who you
leave behind, BUT ALWAYS KEEP ASHLEY IN YOUR PARTY NO MATTER WHAT! You cannot
complete this dungeon if you leave him behind!!!
That settles it.
Off you go
- Follow the road and exit west at the end
- Step on the red switch Drop off it and stand on the other red switch
Exit west
- Ignore the smiling face block. You cannot do anything with it until you
got Marivel. Take the most right path and its exit to get a "Crest S"
The middle path will get you to continue the mission
- You gotta leave somebody behind. As I said earlier (and this is the last
time I say it), DON'T LEAVE ASHLEY BEHIND! I recommend to leave Tim behind
(In the end you gotta leave them all behind until Ashley is alone)
Exit west
- Exit west
- Follow the corridor and exit south at the end of it
- Get on the ramp and drop off on the red switch
You pass a blue switch, east off the read. Drop of to it and make it rise
so you can get back on the road, Now follow the road south
Drop off the blue switch, do it again and exit south
- I suggest to leave Kanon behind now. Exit south
- = Step on the east red block
= Take the east road and go south over the red switches until a blue one
blocks your path
= Go west until a red switch rises you
= Go south and exit south
- Exit south
- Follow the corridor and exit east at the end
- = Drop of in the north pit and a red switch will rise so you can get out
= Get on the ramp and drop off onto the red switch
= Drop off onto the other red switch
= Now the north ramp leads to an extra cartrdige for Ashley
The East ramp continues the mission
= Exit east
- I suggest to leave Brad behind this time
Exit east
- Save if you need and exit east
- Follow the corridor and exit south at the end of it
- = Get on the moving platfrom and set op the blue switch of it.
= Wait until the platform goes past the west and go west
= If you raised the blue switches then lower them by stepping on another
one
= Step on a red switch
= Step on the blue switches and get on the moving platform again
= When it passes the south go Sotuh and go to the moving platform on the
South
= Step off south and exit South
- Now you have to leave your last person behind. In my case that was Lilka.
After you placed your last person the only person left now should be
Ashley
Exit South
- Exit south
- Now this one is #$#$*#)$*#$*
= Step on the the blue switch on the west
= Go south and drop off to the red switch west
= Go west-west on the blue switches
= Go west to the green switch (but try not to touch the red)
= Step on the green switch
= Go all the way east, but DON'T ACTIVATE ANY OF THE RED AND BLUE SWITCHES!
= Step on the gree switch south
= Trow a knife south so that it falls on the target
= Exit south

A new power will swell up in Ashley and you'll start this battle as the
gold knight. From now on all the times you use acces you'll become the
gold knight. This gives you two new moves at your disposal. "Gun Blaze"
and "Last Burst". DON'T EVER USE LAST BURST as it does damage your enemy
greatly but it turns you back into a human reducing you HP and FP to 1.
I suggest to use "Gun Blaze" all the way and heal when needed. This fight
is easy. Only the move "Gate of Isolde" can truely mess it up.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Beating Caina will complete this mission and the "Grauswein" mission will

Did you guys know that "Grau Swein" mean "Grey Pig" in German?

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
As you know Irving didn't allow Ashley to join this fight. So I suggest
to use Kanon to replace him. This fight is very hard, as Grauswein's
attacks are strong and hit all characters. I did receive some suggestions
to put Tim in the front line to cover that up. I do not agree with that
since with Ashley out I already had a party that's weaker than preferable
with Tim I'd make it even weaker. In my opinion you're far better off by
mysticing some items in case of emergency than by putting him in front.
Brad and Kanon should focus on the attack. Kanon can in case of
ermergency use some healing items. Most of the time Lilka should be more
then able to cover it up.

Keep using "Gun Blaze" all the time, and withing a few turns Grauswein is

road that you should have created by now.
At the end is a small rock. Bomb it.
A gas stream will appear.
Lilka-Boom it for one last time and you'll go down. (if not drop off to

Welcome to the most horrible dungeon of the game.
First of all, when you get in you can't get out until you complete it.
Second the enemies are highly annoying in here
Third when you look at this dungeon too much you may get hypnotized
Last but not least. It's a damn fucking maze beyond logic thinking.
Even though I played this game over 100 times, I stll tend to get lost here
So forgive me if the way described here is not the shortest one.
The "metalic" things you see are sort of teleporters. Exits.
You can use them to get deeper into the trapezohedron.
The health crystals can be heavy to navigate. Taken them when you take the
exit near it. That way you can mark where you have and have not been
The colors I note are for you to check if you're still keeping up with me.

ever seen. I think only "Fantam" from Breath Of Fire IV tops him in being
easy. Now I admit that I AM high in level because I took on the Pyramid
bosses (with lucky card), but even if you didn't do that this boss is
way too pathetic to write a strategy about.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this fight you can save the game.
Task #10:
Touch the barrier and a fight will start. After the fight the barrier
will disappear
Go upstairs and walk over the barrier and drop off it north
Exit north
(You can come back here to claim some treasure)
Task #11:
Okay... DON'T OPEN BARRIERS! YOU NEED TO LEAVE THEM INTACT!
= Go up the west stars.
= Bomb the target and stand on the switch
= Walk over the barrier south
= Stand west of the south barrier
= Cloak SE to the exit (Tricky)
= exit south
Task #12:
= Go up the stairs
= Stand on the barrier and cloak to the barriers north until you
reach the fourth barrier
= On the fourth barrier, cloak west
= From here cloak onto the 5th barrier
= Cloak east (Extremly difficult because of that torch in your way)
= From here you can cloak to the exit
= exit north
(If you want treasure you can come back)
Task #13:
= If you have Marivel use the Electrel on the lightining symobol on the
east wall. A secret passage will open near the exit containing the
EZ missile ARM for Brad
= Make your way through the barriers. The east route has the least
ammount of barriers.
Task #14:
Don't be fooled by the fact that this LOOKS the same as Task #13.
It isn't. You need to plan your way well or else you'll mess up.
If that happens you'll have to exit south and come back to start over.
= Walk into the most west path and open the barrier
= Open the second barrier in this same path
= Leave the 3rd barrier alone and use the path east to get in row #2
= Open the north barrier there
= Use the small path to go to row #3 and open the barrier south of you
= Leave the barrier south of you be and use the small path to get into
row #4
= Destroy the 2 barriers north of here
= Now go west and go up the stairs
= Now make your way over the barriers (mist cloak may be required to
get over some gaps) to the east.
= After that go north and exit north
Task #15:
Just exit south
Task #16:
Just exit north
Task #17:
You can just exit south. The completes this task
However you can get Ashley's best cartridge here if you got Marivel.
If you wanna do that you gotta remove the second north barrier on the
east and a lightning sign will be revealed. To hit it with the electrel
You must try to hit it using the stairs. The sign is too high to hit
directly. Once the secret passage opens you can claim the prize.

The savespot you're now at is the last in the game. Once you continue there's
now way out and no possibility to save. You'll have to face whatever comes
with no escapes.
Alright Exit north to begin.
Now WA2 as a very original final boss.
First you got 3 roots that should be taken by one of your party members.
I suggest to send Brad to the first one, Lilka to the second and Kanon to
the last one. You may do it diffrent but this FAQ won't go about it.
Then you gotta fight the core with the remaining party members. That would
be Ashley, Tim and Marivel.
After the core you gotta fight the Blaze of Disaster and that battle will be
done by Ashley alone.
Well first things first.
Route A:
- Exit west
- Get over the moving bridge and exit north
- Open the door
Route B:

- Get over the moving bridge and exit north
- Open the door
Route C:

Lilka is much weaker than Brad and that makes this harder. It also can
put some nasty status changes on you this time. A spell that works is

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Third Root
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka Me Ugly. You Dead | Difficulty: Medium |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Kanon 55
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
I personally find this the hardest of the three. Since Kanon lacks Brad's
strength and Lilka's healing magic. If you bought yourself a lot of
Big Berries in the Black Market (or have some spare Mega Berries) you
have a lot less to worry about. Save up enough FP to use your strongest
bionic attack with a GAT force and use healing berries to heal when
needed. It saves you a lot of trouble when you are protected against most
status changes with Personal Skills. It does not grant 100% protection
but enough to stand a chance in this battle.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After the three roots the party members you used from them are out of the
game, and can no longer be used as playable characters any more.
If you used my recommended setting you should have now Ashley and Tim. If you
went for the Crimson Castle you should also have Marivel.

- Open the door to let the battle begin
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Encroaching Paralel Universe KUIPER CORE
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Kuiper Core, Left Shoulder, Right Shoulder
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka Me very Ugly. You Very Dead | Difficulty: Medium |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 55 | Tim 55 | Marivel 55 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This battle can be hard since you are very likely to use those party
members you wouldn't use in normal situations. I recommend to equip Tim
with the Full Libra (if you have it) and the Medium Odoryuk). With that
In order let's fight.

Nearly every turn, Tim will have to cast "First Aid". If you are also
caught in status changes you'll need to summon Odoryuk with a Combine.
If you have Marivel then just let her use "Attack" (or if you have it
GellaCrazy. It costs all your money, but since this is the grand finale
you don't need it any more). At any moment you can you should have her
summon the strongest Golem she has. "Qubely" by default. If you have
"Asgard" then summon that, even better is Asgard 2 (if you managed to
beat Bulkogidon).
Ashley should just do what he always does. Use Access whenever the chance
arises. The best he can do is go crazy with "Mad Lucied" if you have it
if not then you can do most damage with Banisher even though it'll
turn you back into a human and have to build up FP again. NEVER USE GUN
BLAZE SINCE THAT WILL ONLY HEAL HIM. AND NEVER USE LAST BURST FOR OBVIOUS
REASONS

Last note. I wouldn't bother its shoulders. You get extra EXP, but you're
not gonna need it. There's only one battle left after this one and that
battle is easy.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
The Blaze of Disaster LORD BLAZER
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Lord Blazer
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka Thanks Ashley, now DIE!!! | Difficulty: Easy. Know the trick |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Ashley 57
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
In this battle you'll become a hybrid between Ashley and Anastasia. This
means that you have Ashley's statistics, but Anastasia's moves and force
abilities.

Now Lord Blazer's attacks aren't hard to survive. Use a Big Berry
Whenever your HP is getting low.

Now the true trick. Attacking makes no sense. You'll never beat Lord
Blazer that way. The trick is to save up Ashleys FP to 25 and then use
the force ability "Impulse". Whenever you do that you see people you met
on your quest lending their powers to Ashley and that will hurt Lord
Blazer pretty bad. Doing that 7 times will kill Lord Blazer and finish
the game

| Odd Headquarters | IDXD002 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Available: Upon reaching Damzen
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Rewards: Name change service. Change the names of your party members
Black market to buy special items you can't buy elsewhere
A Teddy bear
A monster book to view which monsters you defeated

Please note that some rewards may not be available right way and my
require that you've done other things in the game first
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Go to Damnzen and enter the saloon. Have either Tim or Lilka to talk to
the bartender. Ask for the menu and order a Damzen Milky. The bartender
will tell you about a strange building. Now leave Damnzen
Head east. When you see those rocks north of you, seach the area NE of
them.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
At the odd headquarters you have the next things at your disposal.
- Monster book
This guy is at the desk at the first floor. Talk to him and you can
view the monsters you beat so far. If you have the AlbumCoupon from the
Thunder Lion's Cage, you'll get an extra menu item so that you can check
the monsters you killed while you are on the road.
- The name change service is on floor B1. Nothing special
- The black market requires that you found the secret party member Marivel.
A robot blocks your way to floor B2 and that's where the market is.
Use Marivel's Electrel on it and it'll move aside. On the next floor is
the black market. The only shop who has HP recovery items and other neat
stuff.
- The Teddy bear (useless item btw) requires that you have Marivel, the mist
cloak and the change rod. Go to the black market and use the change rod on
the HP Chystals to the south.
Now go up them and cloak through the fence
From here throw a knife at the target
Cloack over the gap to the north
Press the button and clock back south
Drop off west and open the chest to obtain the teddy bear

| Level 2 Magic (Island Outpost) | IDXD003 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Available: Once you got the Telport Orb from the dog in T'Bok
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Reward: Level 2 Magic, and the possibility to go for the Extend
side-quest lateron.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Once you got the Teleport Orb, go to Sielje and speak to somebody in the
library by the name of Karayan. He'll mention John Day.
Now put Lilka up front and let her use the teleport orb. Go to any
destination, but she'll mess up and end up on a small island in stead.
Search here to find the Island Outpost
Enter it to meet John Day. He'll give you a High Crest.
Now leave this island (you can let Lilka safely use the Teleport Orb by now)
and warp to Sielje.
Go back to the library and talk to Karayan again.
Now go back to the Island Outpost (it's a destination you can access with
the teleport orb now).
Now talk to John Day. He'll teach you level 2 magic.
You can make regular magic shops teach you level 2 magic if you talk
to Karayan in Sielje. He or she (what is it) will tell you that he's tired
of spreading knowlegde. This talk will also unlock the "Extend" sidequest
which can be done after completing the Coffin Of 100 Eyes.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 24 | Lilka 24 | Tim 24 |

Reward: Leita Salk - The Guardian of Darkness
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Dock on the beach at the northside of the Holst Island, and head straight
south.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
I recommend to keep the camera turned south, as the game initially does.
It gives a better view on this dungeon.
- Exit South
Now note that this room contains some squares in which you can rest and some
paths that will disappear as soon as you step on it. It'll make you fall if
you stop walking. So only do so on the square parts.
Now it's a matter of taking the right doors. If you take the wrong door,
it'll close as soon as you reach it. If that happens all you can do is
jump into a pit and start over.
First room, take the path on the right, to each the exit
Second room, go straight ahead all the time.
Third room, is tricky. You need to get on the southern path. And when you
got there you're closest to the middle door. From there take the first door
on the left side of it.
Fouth room is just a crossing. Time things right and go straight ahead.
Now you'll reach the yellow slab. Examine it and you get the guardian.
Now go all the way back. I suppose that ain't so hard. If so, mail me, and
I'll expand this part.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Extend | IDXD005 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Available: Upon completing the Coffin of 100 eyes
and having completed the Level 2 magic side-quest
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
I don't wanna be arrogant or to be a know-it-all, but the internet is
flooded with misinformation about this force for Lilka.
One of the biggest mistakes is that you wouldn't be able to get it after you
completed your first diablo pillar. Well, that's a first class lie, but it's
a very popular one. So please forget about that fairy tale.
What I'll tell you is the unclouded truth and nothing but the truth.
If you haven't already done it, go to Sielje and speak to Karayan.
He should say that he's tired of spreading the knowlegde of high magic.
Now go to the Island outpost and talk to John Day and he'll teach you
Extend (if Lilka is in the lead).
That's really all. It is indeed true that this becomes possible when the
Diablo Pillar mission has started, but even if you've done one you can still
go for it. Heck even if you're about to start the final dungeon you can go
for it. So I hope I cleared up a lot of confusion.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After Ragu O Ragula and Angolmois, Bulkogidon is by far the hardest boss
of the game. His attacks are plain murder and he has extremely much HP.
Give Ashley mini Carrots to make sure that he can use Access in the
second turn. Lilka should be your main healer. Brad should be there to
take damage since he can have most. Now there's only one thing that can
kill Bulkogidon quickly and that's Gun Blaze. 4 of those and he's out.
Unless you you decide to take out his body parts as well, but I advice
only to do that if you are an experienced RPG player. If not then forget
the body parts and go straight for the main body.

| Pyramid Bosses | IDXDZZZ |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Available: When you obtain My Mike
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Reward: Best weapons and a few other things
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
When you have My Mike you can go seek out the Pyramids you may have seen
during your quest. Stand near it use "My Mike" and the boss sealed in it will
come out and try to kill you. If you can beat it you can get the most
wonderful weapons or other good items. Not to mention that all of them except
Agolmois and Ragu o Ragula give a lot of EXP and Money so using lucky cards
can pay off.
There are a few things you should have now though
First the "Life Orb" which can be found in Archeim. You need the mist cloak
to get it. When used with "Mystic" it can heal all party members in once.
And there's no limit in how many times you use it.
Second you might want "Mad Lucied". A move for Ashley's Gold Knight form.
It can be found by completing "Werewolf's Den"
Here's a quick list of the bosses, their locations and the rewards
(the bosses are ordered on difficulty. Easiest first, hardest last)
Titanius Halmetz Shooting Star (Ashley)
Kobold King Closed Mind Shaft Omega Crush (Brad)
Zolinge Wind Tiger's Den Dist Dims (Tim)
Xenon Slayheim Castle Violator (Kanon)
Zavorg Meteor Crater Black Queen (Lilka)
Zyclus & Zetrim Mr. Chug-Chug Mad Goggles (Marivel, headgear)
Angolmois Golgotha Prison Force Unit (FP will go faster)
Ragu O Ragula Aguel Mine Shaft Sheriff Star (All sorts of effects)
Now lets get on the strategies shall we.

Three persons can do the trick. You may decide yourself which to pick
Ashley: Use Dead-Or-Alive. If it hits you win
Tim: Use Arcana 13. You win
Marivel: Use Guillotine. You win
People often think this is some kind of joke, but no, it's really the
the only way to do it, odd as it may seem.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 42 | Brad 40 | Lilka 41 | Tim 41 | Kanon 41 | Marivel 41 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
You don't have to worry about the speed of this guy, since even Brad is
much faster than he is. But he is strong. Most of his attacks can be
dealt with quite easily. But a few are dangerous. His "Buried Alive" for
examples which hurts all characters very bad, and his "Tactless" which
misses easily but when it hits it does so much damage that you'll die
unless your strength is beyond insanity. When he "Prepares to Attack"
then you may expect a powerful blow in the next turn. Your best bet is to
turn Ashley into the Gold Knight ASAP and to use Mad Lucied like crazy.
Brad should do normal attacks or use ARMS as you see fit. Lilka should be
your main healer even though she might die easily.
Having the Life Orb to use with Mystic is a good idea. Another good idea
is to buy mini carrots and revive fruits at the black market before
starting this battle.

| Limb-from-limb-ripping monster ZOLINGE | PYRB3 |

| aka Me and my big boomerang!!! | Difficulty: Hard |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 47 | Brad 46 | Lilka 46 | Tim 46 | Kanon 46 | Marivel 46 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Zolinge is by far the fastest enemy of the game, so don't bother to speed
up. Even if your speed is 999 he'll be faster. That makes that you must
always think one move forward if you wanna survive. Somebody suggested
to me to always use a mystic Life Orb. I object on that, since your FP
will run out faster with that then you get it back. Zolinge has the habit
of wasting a lot of turns so you can easily catch up. Have Lilka equipped
with the "Holy Grail". This because his "Ripper Boomerang" is an instant
kill move. And his RF blade can also cause instant kill if you are
unlucky. Keep at least Lilka alive at all costs. Having her dead will
bring you big trouble. When you go for the Belly I say "Gun Blaze" is
best. For the main body I recommend Mad Luceid and a lot of lead from
Brad.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Giant Monster Of Light Xenon | PYRB4 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Xenon, Belly
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka I look messed up in 3D | Difficulty: Easy, but can be hard |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 48 | Brad 47 | Lilka 47 | Tim 47 | Kanon 47 | Marivel 48 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
The party I recommend is very odd. But it's Ashley, Tim and Lilka.
Because this party is very weak you must stay alert. For the rest I
advice to have those three equipped with a Light Ring. This will half the
damage of his "Xenon Ray Force" move which would otherwise be to strong
to survive. The darkside is that your attacks will have the light
property and thus heal him in stead of damaging him. No never use normal
attacks. Any other type of attack is fine. Have Tim equipped with the
Leitae Salk medium and you're ready to go.

First turn should be to speed up Lilka. Xenon will use Barrier, but have
no effect. On the second turn Xenon will use Xenon Ray Force. After that
have Ashley to do Access ASAP, and go crazy with Mad Lucied.
Tim should go crazy with summoning Leitae Salk. Lilka should do the
healing. (If needed by mysticing the light orb).
If you keep this up it will require some time to do so, but eventually
you'll win quite easily.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Giant Armored Bug ZAVORG | PYRB5 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Zavorg, Belly
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka We look the same, don't we? | Difficulty: Very hard |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 53 | Brad 52 | Lilka 52 | Tim 52 | Kanon 52 | Marivel 53 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
The first turns it does nothing but shielding itself. So that gives you
plenty of time to get started yourself. By the time it makes its first
attack you could have done plenty of damage and even taken Ashley into
the gold knight form, which is strongly recommended. After 6 turns or so
he'll actually start to fight. His moves are very strong, but since he's
not fast you can deal with it. His Schwartz Strall is something to keep
in mind. Whoever is hit has very little chance to live to tell the tale
Only Brad might be strong enough for that. He also has Full-Body-Attack
when it hits you're dead, unless you are extremely high in level.
He also has an attack that hurts the entire party.
Once his belly is out, he might start throwing some turns away. That
gives you some opportunities and I suggest you USE THOSE!
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
_______
| Boss \
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Vortex Monster Brothers ZYCLUS & ZETRIM | PYRB6 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Zyclus, Zetrim
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka We look the same, don't we? | Difficulty: Fucking hard |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 50 | Brad 49 | Lilka 50 | Tim 50 | Kanon 50 | Marivel 50 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
There's two of them, and that gives you a problem. Zyclus is very
extremly fast, and Zetrim is very extremly slow. Both are awfully strong
If Zyclus uses a "Gilas" move, Zetrim will immediatly follow doing the
the same. These moves are strong and hit all party members. I don't need
to note that the fact that they combo these moves makes it even harder to
deal with. That makes surviving those combos extremely important.
Furthermore your top priority is to get one of those two out of the fight
as soon as possible. Don't be ashamed to call on your back row in case
of emergency, because emergencies WILL happen! If you manage to knock one
out then all your problems are over and the rest of this fight will then
be a pushover.

| | hands over feet. Even Bulkogidon |
| | was easy compared to him |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Ashley 64 | Brad 63 | Lilka 63 | Tim 63 | Kanon 63 | Marivel 63 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
How I survived- everyone defended (execpt for Brad, who had just enough
life to survive the attack w/o defending) :)

BTW: The Big A *really* liked the 7th moon- he used it about every
other turn (unless regenerating or using the thing that nullifies all
added effects).

Okay, here is a better description (feel free to replace Marivel at any
point where I use Tim execpt when I'm High-guardian + Raftinaing (wow,
new word)) from my memory.

First Turn- Ashley Attack (can't remember now), Lilka cast Mystic + Life
Orb, Tim Defend. Big A uses Great Disaster
Second Turn- All 3 defend, big A uses 7th moon.
Third Turn- Switch Party, Defend. Big A uses 7th moon (See what I mean
now?)
Fourth Turn- Defend, same party. Big A uses 7th moon (this is why it
took me forever to do...), Marivel dies, Kanon is almost dead, Brad has
around 3000 life.
Fifth Turn- Switch Party, Ashley Accesses, Lilka uses DualCast +
HypeWeapon (on Ashley) and Quick (on Tim), have Tim Defend. Big A uses
Void Effect, knocking out all my added bonuses from the force levels.
Sixth Turn- Switch Lilka with Brad. Have Ashley defend, Brad use
Combonation + Odorok, Tim use HiCombo + Raftina. Big A used Regeneration,
healing 0 points.
Seventh Turn- Ashley Defend, Brad use the Tailsman + Raftina trick, Tim
Defends. Big A uses 7th moon.
Eighth Turn- Switched Brad with Lilka again. Ashley uses Gun Blaze (hits
for around 3500), Tim uses First Aid, Lilka uses Mystic + Life Orb. Big A
uses Great Disaster, confusing Lilka.
Ninth Turn- Switched Brad back. This is where I kept going on and on (and
on and on and...) until I eventually hit him with 3 Final Bursts w/o him
healing. At that Point, here is what I did (Turn X would be the turn
where I hit him with the third Final Burst.. this caused Angolmois to use
7th Moon almost every turn):
X+1th turn- Ashley defends, Tim Hi-Combos with Raftina Again, Brad
Defends. Big A uses 7th Moon. At this point, Big A is going last.
X+2th turn- Ashley Accesses, Tim Defends, and Brad uses Tailsman +
Raftina. Big A uses 7th moon, killing Ashley and Tim.
X+3 Turn- Brad uses Tailsman + Raftina, Big A uses 7th moon.
***
Repeat Tailsman + Raftina until Brad is full on HP
Y+1 Turn- Brad Boost + Rail Gun, Big A uses 7th moon. Make sure Brad has
Full Libra or Clear Chimes equipped incase Big A uses Great Disaster!
(about a 1/5 chance)
Repeat Tailsman + Raftina until Brad is full on HP
Z+1 Turn- Brad uses an Ammo Clip on the Rail Gun, Big A uses 7th moon.
Make sure Brad has Full Libra or Clear Chimes equipped incase Big A uses
Great Disaster! (about a 1/5 chance)
Go back to *** and keep repeating until Big A croaks.

PS: I had enough Necromicons for everyone, and had already defeated Ragu
for the Sheriff's Star (always equipped on Ashley). Until the point where
I was using Ashley, Tim, and Brad, I always had Necromicon equipped
(unless otherwise mentioned) on 2/3 characters (all if Ashley is not
there). After that, Ashley had Sheriff's Star, Tim had Clear Chimes, and
Brad had either Tailsman or Full Libra. Looking back, I would have given
Brad the Sheriff's Star instead of Ashley.

_______
| Boss \ Written by Paatsan
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Master of the beginning and the end RAGU O RAGULA | PYRB8 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Targets: Ragu O Ragula
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| aka The Big A | Difficulty: Harder than any boss |
| | hands over feet. Even Bulkogidon |
| | was easy compared to him |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
60+ Doesn't matter as long as Brad has 8000+ HP
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
To beat him all you need is Brad, Raftina medium and talisman. It's
important he has more than 8,000 HP ( I prfer more), Up Param., and
Restore HP. Don't use Viper Fang to him, I'd rather use it to Angolmois
than to him.
The technique is to equip Brad BEST equipment as possible, while others
tries to attack Ragu. For Brad attack with normal, if he's damaged use
other team members to heal him. If Marivel is available use her to try
sleep on him
(sometimes he uses void effect). It doesn't matter if the team dies. Watch
for Brad HP, when it reaches 2,000 to 3,000 change his equipment to
talisman and Raftina. Then using Raftina's power to execute Invincible
so any attack on him misses, at the end of the turn he'll recover bit
by bit. Keep doing this until he gets full HP and start to attack again.
When his FP reaches 100 use boost with any arm. And the whole process
starts over again, it's ALOT of changing equipment and if you have Up
Param. You should be able to lower Ragu's attacks. As he weakens he'll use
Impact Bomber which does even lower damage than any of his early moves.
You have to be VERY patient and focussed, the only thing you have to watch
out for is Smitthereens, which may kill Brad in one hit so I prefer Brad
heals every round he takes damages. This is the cheap way, if you have
unlimited full carrot you can do another technique using Tim's Hi Combo
with Dan Diram. I never tried that though.

AND NEVER FORGET TO TELL ME WHICH FAQ OF MINE YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!
I get a lot of mails in which I must guess which FAQ it is we're talking
about, and since I'm very busy as a contributor for GameFAQs, and ocasionally
other sites, I have quite a lot of FAQs here. So it will help me a lot when
I know which FAQ/Game it is you're talking about. :)
And one last thing. Below are remarks I got a lot about my FAQs. Some are
funny, and some are just plainly too stupid for words. I don't want to be
an arrogant bastard or anything, but some of them tire me a lot.
So here are those mails with my standard replies:
M: Fix your English
A: Some people say they hardly hear the diffrence between me and an
English speaking fellow. Others say it sucks. Well, I honestly don't
care in which category you are. English is NOT my first language. If
I spoke my own language you probably couldn't read my FAQs at all.
M: You suck in levelling up
A: I know. I'm a real RPG player. I don't waste my time hours of levelling
up. In my vision that's a sort of cheating. If I wanted to do that,
I'd buy a gameshark. That works a lot faster.
No offense to those who do believe in that.
M: HEY IDIOT! FIX YOUR FAQ!
A: Anyone who sends mail like this won't receive a reply. In fact they
will be banned from ever mailing me again. I can understand you do not
agree with my technique. There are as many as there are people. I can
also agree you detected that I made a mistake. Well, I'm human you know.
Making mistakes is part of my nature, as much as it's yours. If you
detect errors in my FAQ you can tell me about it in a civil way, and
I'll fix it if I agree with you.
M: I took on the bosses you brant HARD on much lower levels with no problem
at all.
A: Good for you.
M: Are you a man? A woman? How old are you? Where do you live?
A: I really got that kind of mails a lot. I don't mind that you know.
I was quite amused by such mails actually.
Well, my name is Jeroen Broks. I'm not going to give my private adres
in this FAQ or anywhere else on the internet, but you may know that
I live in the Netherlands, I am a man, and I was born in 1975. So on
the moment I started on this FAQ I was 31 years old.
M: Fsdasdadasf afsdfasd afdfsaf
A: Whatever you say I don't understand it. If you mail me, please only do
so in either English or Dutch or if you really need in German. I don't
speak any other language.
M: May I translate your FAQ into another language?
A: If you ask my permission, mostly no problem
M: Why is Neoseeker banned from hosting your FAQs?
A: That's something between me and Neoseeker. I don't find it necesary to
go into detail about that. I noted it in my FAQs to make sure they
will never pop up there unnoticed. So don't mail me about it
cause I won't answer. I got very good reasons for it. That's all you
need to know.
M: You know NOTHING about this game or RPG in general?
A: That I know nothing about RPG in general is something you can't say.
I spend 80% of my free time in RPG (which is quite a lot, trust me),
and I even develop them myself for a hobby. And about this game,
trust me when I say that all games I wrote a FAQ about have been played
multiple times from start to finish, and after I completed the FAQ
the game is played over and over again and again, so I can upgrade
the FAQ if I find something new, to make sure my FAQs offer the best
you can get. All games I wrote FAQs about are games I'm very devoted
to. No exceptions. If I am not sure I know the game, I won't write a
FAQ on it.
And so far this FAQ. I hope you have good use for it!
