Key:

Buttons:

Jab:        Light punch
Strong:     Medium punch
Fierce:     Hard punch
Short:      Light kick
Forward:    Medium kick
Roundhouse: Hard kick


Terms:

Crossup:     An attack done as you are jumping over the opponent so
                 that it hits them from behind before you land

Cancel:      Performing a second motion move while a first one is 
                 connecting with the opponent, thus making the second 
                 one override the first

Excel Mode:  Basically Custom Combo Mode, whereby you can link and
                 perform moves in rapid succession. Enabled by
                 pressing a punch and a kick of different strengths
                 (ie: Jab+Forward...). Requires one level of the
                 Super Meter. Note that you cannot perform Super Moves
                 while in this mode, but you can link Super Moves to
                 combos that begin in it

Guard Break: An unblockable move that renders the target unconscious,
                 performed by pressing a punch and a kick of the same
                 strength (ie: Fierce+Roundhouse) 

Meteo Combo: Each character now has a specific Level 3 Super Move,
                 enabled by performing a specific motion and pressing
                 one of the x's 3 buttons (Kick x 3/Punch x 3) as
                 noted. Requires 3 levels (full) of the Super Meter

Move names:  Some move names may not be the official Capcom names, as
                 I tried to use the most common names so people using
                 this guide wouldn't have to keep cross referencing
                 the moves lists

____Ryu

16. Perform a combo that does 80 units of damage while in Excel 
        Mode. (I used, Fierce, Fierce, Fierce, Double Stomach Punch,
        Triple Fireball, Dragon Punch, Fireball, Super Fireball, 
        Super Windmill Kick for a total of 82)

        Elbow to reach the target before it can block. Also, you need
        cancel the Super Fireball into the Super Launch Attack almost
        immediately or the target will be thrown too far away)

16. Violent Elbow, Crushing Palm, Super Launch Attack, Jumping
        Roundhouse, Activate Excel Mode and finish the combo with
        60 or more units of damage inflicted on the target. (the 
        trick here is to walk forward a bit before jumping, then
        strike with the Jumping Roundhouse just before the target
        lands on the ground, then immediately activate the Excel
        Mode and rapid fire the Jab 3 times as fast as you can,
        finish with 2 or 3 Standing Roundhouses to gain the amount
        of damage required)

        the combo with a total of 70 or more units of damage (the
        trick to this one is to activate the Excel Mode immediately
        after the Explomines detonate, then rapid fire the Jab as
        fast as you can to juggle the target inside the Explomines
        for the correct amount of damage)

16. Crouching Forward, Dark Wire, Dark Hold, Jumping Roundhouse,
        then finish the combo with a total of 60 or more units of
        damage. (Jump backwards, striking on the way down for the
        Jumping Roundhouse, then follow with either a Dark Wire or
        a Standing Roundhouse, then finish with a Kill Trump for
        more than the required amount of damage)

        Cancel into Pole Barrage, then strike the target with a
        retrieved pole (the trick here is to drop the pole a full
        screen distance away on the ground first, then crossup the
        target with the Jumping Fierce so that you'll perform the rest
        of the combo on the opposite side from the pole, thus knocking
        it back in range. Also, use the Jab version of the Extending
        Pole so that you can strike the target with both parts before
        it can block)

        the target. Perform the Death Energy immediately upon
        landing from the Death Press)

15. Jumping Fierce, Jumping Fierce, Cancel into Death Sword Kick,
        Death Energy (hit the target deep with the first Jumping
        Fierce so that you can connect with the second Jumping Fierce
        on the way up from your next jump. An easy way to connect
        with the Death Energy is to add a Super Death Crush between
        it, and the Death Sword Kick. This gives you more time to
        perform the Death Energy)

16. Jumping Fierce, Crouching Strong, Death Crush, Cancel into Death
        Government, Cancel into Super Death Crush in the air, Death
        Government, Death Somersault (perform this combo with the
        target in the corner or it may bounce free during the Super
        Death Crush. Also, don't forget to jump before the air Super
        Death Crush, as well as performing it somewhat late so that
        the target doesn't land before you have time to perform the
        second Death Government)

        Fierce, cancel into the Super Spinning Sword)

15. Jumping Fierce, Crouching Strong, Crouching Forward, Sword Slash,
        Cancel into Sword Barrage, Cancel into Rising Sword, Cancel
        into Super Spinning Sword

16. Jumping Roundhouse, Activate Excel Mode and perform, Standing
        Jab, Standing Roundhouse, Flip Sword, Sword Slash, Spinning
        Sword, Cancel into Super Spinning Sword (cancel into the

        away. Also, add an extra Standing Jab and Standing Roundhouse
