On the cheat menu on Alien Resurrection, there is that grid where you can put face huggers in different places.
What does it do?
Marking certain patterns with the squares will affect the appearance and other traits of the aliens in the game. I have yet to see a complete list, but even simple patterns have various affects, such as turning the aliens bright green, making them smaller/larger, and some behavioural differences.
Experimentation is the key.
