Using a turbo controller can really cut down on the time it takes to do the actual digging.

I was also having *alot* of trouble to begin with, but I'm 90% sure that as
your chocobo learns new terrain abilities, (walking in shallow reefs, et cetera),
it becomes *much* easier to pin-point treasures in Hot and Cold.

It seems to require less accuracy when pecking the ground, and, when you
*do* peck the ground, Choco, as I would say, ends up (after learning terrain abilities),
pecking at *least* THREE TIMES A SECOND!!

This really helped me out, and I'm sure it wasn't just practice!
I don't think you'll need Action Replay.

There is no unlimited time but you'll find as you level your chocobo's beak level up it'll become a lot easier and as your chocobo evolves to handle new terrains he becomes even stronger and faster too!
