Final Fantasy VIII

I've beaten FFVIII numerous times, and I'd rather play through it now simply for the storyline rather than going through the trouble of doing all of the battles and such. I've used a GameShark Pro, version 1.1 (I think it was, anyways...it was the type that plugged into the I/O port) that I was able to find codes for and use successfully, however I've not been able to find those same codes again to use on CDX. The problem is, I'm looking for the codes that actually work for inf. items, have all items, inf. gil, and the lvl 99 codes for the GFs, but every resource I can find lists codes that don't work. Meaning, I put in the codes for, for example, have all items and inf. items, only to get into the game to discover that they didn't work. Can anyone help with this? I've got codes that I know DO work...IE: the codes for lvl 100 characters, and I've got the "official" GameShark code books, but the codes in there don't work either. If I remember correctly, I ended up going to the GameShark site and found codes that DID work, which is how I had them on the Pro (which doesn't work anymore, got too hot/humid). But, of course, GameShark doesn't support PS1 game codes anymore.

I've tried the codes listed on codetwink.com, and the item codes don't work. Specifically, the ones I want are the "have all items" "infinite items" "have all Magic" "infinite Magic" codes. Again, the official ones put in the GameShark book don't work either. If I remember correctly, there was a line or two that I had to alter in them. All other codes (infinite gil, GF levels, Character Levels/HP/etc) work fine.
