Question from Lonegirl

Can someone tell me what level range is recommended for each area in Legend of Legaia?

Right now, I'm about to go on my way to the mist generators (after recruiting Gala) and I'm only lvls 8-9. I feel like I'm still in the beginning and am not sure if I should level more near the sanctuary to gain money and experiences. I'm following a walk-through since I'm usually confused about things. The only thing I'm not aware of is level ranges.

So in short, I'm asking if someone can provide what level they recommend the characters to be before going on. Thank you in advanced!

Answer

I would recommend being level 11-12 though going through the first mist generator isn't impossible at your level, you'd need a good deal of luck and lots of healing items. You'll have 2 bosses to fight in the mist generator.

It's great if you're following a walkthrough, however, it's not healthy to be level conscious for it'll give you wrinkles.^.~ Anyway, what i'm trying to say is that a certain level as you follow along the story w/o running away on encounters would be enough. If we follow on a specific level range, it'll definitely chomps a lot of your time just to figure or reach it out. What if I tell you that fighting Zeto, you should at least be at level 25 for his Big Wave attack be just a little threat? That wouldn't be nice, right? Unless all you do in your life is play, that is. So getting to the point now, Vahn at level 12, Noa at 10, and Gala at 9 should be enough as a starting point in entering Zeto's Dungeon (Drake Kingdom Mist Generator). All you need to focus on here is the number of arts move you've already mastered, healing items in hand, latest equipment selection...and most of all, STRATEGY!!! Usually, attack patterns for Zeto is that he'll attack after Noa and Vahn made their moves. So after they attack and Zeto does is do 'Call Wave', you have no choice but to select 'spirit' for all 3 of them. That way, if one gets taken down by the next big wave move, the other 2 can revive him. Doing spirit would raise your character's def and magic def. Afterwards, storm Zeto with your physical attacks, the most effective so far. Vahn with 'Tornado Flame' + 'Power Punch' or 'Hyper Elbow' (>><>< or >><<down) would do most damage coming from him. Noa using super arts 'Super Javelin' or 'Dragon Fangs' would do. While Gala with anyof the five-key arts move would do or a 5-key combination using 'Thunder Punch' chained with a 3-key arts move would do. Keeping this in mind and the defense against 'Big Wave' strategy including right timing, in due time, you'll surely knock Zeto down.
