Are there any games similar to ones of the Lunar series? Mainly keeping the aspect of the main character secretly being in love with his partner, and being an RPG.
The Lunar series is amazing (with the exception of Dragon Song), though, sadly, I have been unable to find anything like it.

statusFFVII, FFVIII, FFX, and Enchanted Arms are similar as far as having a love story and huge plot twists. Not really sure on any others right now though.
Final Fantasy IX, Grandia, Phantasy Star IV (4), Xenogears (well not "secretly"), Final Fantasy VIII... Those are the best that I could think of. Maybe Chrono Cross(?) as well. There are a lot more, just can't think of them all right now.
