Silent Hill

Asked on: 9/5 7:32AMI have been working on Silent Hill for quite some time now and all of a sudden one day I turn it on to play and there is no memory of me ever playing Silent Hill. Since it was the original Playstation memory card I was using, I flipped through all the channels and still cannot find it anywhere. Is there any possible way I can retrieve my progress?

statusWhat do you mean by 'flipping through all the channels' exactly? Are you playing the game on a PS3?
I am playing on a PS2 with a playstation memory card which has buttons on the top of it for different channels to save your memory on. I flipped through all of them and didn't find anything.
Third party memory cards - the kind which would have multiple "channels" - are generally the type to "die" first. It's probably gone permanently.
