I cannot get to the final fight, does it have anything to do with the paintings on floor 3?

i which case...
go to the paintings and examine the third one from the left (Chestnut
Tree) 1st, then the second one (Girl in the Early Afternoon) 2nd, the
fourth one (Peasant Girl) 3rd, and the first one (King of the Night) 4th.
A door will open out to the balcony.
