Asked on: 11/24 1:24PMI have only been playing for a little bit. I thought EP would go up over time, but no. What makes your EP go up?

I meant what makes it go up in battle. I'm not currently playing anymore, but I think I figured out how to increase EP in battle while I was playing, but I'll be darned if I can remember it now. Thanks for your answer

statusYou get more EP by equipping better armour. EP also has an upper limit based on the character's current level. Your EP will not go over that limit, no matter how good the armour you equip is.
I think it goes up when the unit takes damage in battle. It's either that or when they do damage to another unit, but I think it's the first thing.
You can use lance ability Spirit Fruit, or Exhortation, both are used to raise EP, and can be used at the beginning of battle... Spirit Fruit is very good to make Exp go up too.
