Answer

When the ps3 first came out a smaller company made a memory card adapter.
what you would do is slide the card into the adapter and then the adapter into one of the spots under the flip part.
then you can transfer all your save files on to a M-card that you can make on the ps3.

you can trasfer saves back and forth between the ps3 and ps1 or p2 cards as well with it.
from my understanding you dont ever actually save on the ps1 or 2 card though while using it.
you still have to save to the p3 while playing p1 and p2 games.
its just when done playing and back at the p3 start up you can then trasfer that save to those cards if you wanted.

hope this helps.

Answer

You can't. All you can do is create a "memory card." Ask Sony!
