NFL Blitz

"A great and entertaining game."

First I just want to say if I had a choice between playing nfl blitz or madden nfl for the rest of my life I would choose blitz just because of the fast action and fun of it. Now, on with the review!

Graphics 10/10
The graphics are excellent as far as ps graphics go. You can see the players good and the motions are fluid. You can also see the individual players numbers and helmets, something lacking in other systems football games, at least in good detail.

Control 10/10
The controls for this game are really easy to learn. I would say you will have them down in a hour, if not less. All of the top buttons on the remote are used just for turbo for goodness sakes!

Music 4/10
There is not much to say for music here. So I won't say much. There is only music on the menu

Sound FX 10/10
The sound effects are great. You can here the individual players make sounds as they hit each other and they will also say things to each other at the end.

Gameplay 10/10
This game offers great gameplay. You can start a season, do just one game in arcade mode, play some mini games, or watch videos you unlock. Playing football games in this is awesome! There is no stupid penalty calling for something you couldn't see even if you had a magnifying glass. The gameplay is fast, your characters don't move like turtles like they do in madden nfl. Also, if you want to show the other team who is boss while you are on defense, you can jump on them and throw them. Personally, I love to see them go flying when I throw them.

Replayability 10/10
What can I say? It's football times 10. You'll just want to keep coming back and playing this game over and over again. It's just that much fun.

Borrow or Buy?
I suggest that you buy it. If you like football without penalties, or just fast-paced football, you won't regret it.
