Front Mission 3
Review by lufia22
"One of the best Mecha and Stategie RPG's!!"
This is a strategie RPG and i usually dont like them but this one is too awsome to give up!
Graphics 7/10: Ok Ok the CG's are GREAT and some people say they are missplaced but i think they are fine where they are. But in game graphics arent so good. Very blocky. The Mechs are detailed and well animated when there is one of those cut cenes where u read what the people are saying but it's still blocky. The battle graphics are ok but the suits look kinda funny when they are little 2D sprites.
Gameplay 9/10: The hardest thing about the gameplay is equiping items, weapons, and parts. You'll get used to it but there is so much to learn when you have to equip parts. There is an upgrade system where you can upgrade your body parts HP and some other things like R and L arm ACC. Battling is pretty easy to get used to. For every step it cost one AP and when you attack it cost a certain amount of AP. You move how ever many spaces you wont and let you move. Attacking is basically the same but you dont move you just choose which square to attack in. When you play sometime the action will stop but come back real quick. Sometimes there are long loading time which get annoying but it's all good.
Control 10/10: Easy to use nothing much bad about it...sometimes it goes more spaces then you want but thats just your fault =)
Sound 7/10: Sound effects are the BEST in this game; from guns shooting to the Mechas legs move it's all very good! Now the music on the other hands is boring...*blah* Nothing really catches your ears.
Story 10/10: There are two stories, Emma and Alisa, to follow. You can only do one each time you play so that adds to replay. I've only played one, Emma, and you are Kazuki on a mission that starts when a explosion occurs and he finds out what it was.
Replay 8/10: Good the second time so you can play the 2nd story but the game probably wouldn't be good a 3rd time.
Buy or Rent: Ummm hard....Rent first if not sure...Buy if you really like strategy RPG's.
Overall 9/10: With two story line to follow ( Emma and Alisa) this game is very good and entertaing.
