Twisted Metal 2

"What could be more fun than driving crazily and destroying other vehicles?"

Ever drive down the road and see a bad driver, who pisses you off? Have you felt like destroying his car so it blows up and he can never drive again? Twisted Metal 2 allows you to do just that and more. In TM2, you occupy one of many different vehicles and start destroying other cars till you are the only one left. You have a bunch of weapons and special attacks to choose from, and can sometimes even use what the surroundings have to offer you. In the end, you want to rid the area of all other drivers and be the last one driving.
The concept of the game is that a bunch of individuals each have some wishes they want fulfilled. The only way they can do this is by winning the Twisted Metal tournament. If they do, they get their wishes, which don’t usually turn out as they expect. Be careful what you wish for. There are a bunch of different drivers to choose from, each comes with their own unique vehicle. In the tournament, you ride in a bunch of different arenas, which include Paris and New York City. You can even destroy the Eiffel Tower or the Statue of Liberty. You can find different weapons and boosters in these arenas to help you. If you rack up enough points, you are eventually declared the Twisted Metal champion, and get your wish.
TM2 also comes with an awesome multiplayer in which you and a friend can go at it too see who is the most dangerous driver. Overall, this is a very fun game, and a fun way to relieve stress.

Graphics: 7.
The graphics are all right, with the surroundings looking cool, but unpolished. The vehicles all look pretty cool and the animations are decent too. The action is a little choppy though.

Sound: 8.
The music is pretty good and gets you pumped up. The sound effects are decent, especially the explosions.

Gameplay: 8.
Control is smooth and easy to pick up. The computer isn’t too easy, but isn’t difficult either. It is a lot of fun.

Replay Value: 9.
You can check out the endings of all the different characters, so playing the game over and over is fun. Also, multiplayer adds a lot more hours of playability into this game.

Overall: 8.
This is a very fun game, and one of the best on the Playstation.
