Review by Funk Punk

"Time to jam with the lamb!!!"

''Na Na Na Na Na Na'' huh? Oh hi, everyone. Your favorite reviewer, Funk Punk, back with another review (oh did I forget to mention today my Birthday: 09/2/00). Anyway, as you can see, I've been playing this music game recently and having trouble getting his song out of my head. ''What kind of game is this?'' you ask. Well lets see, it the sequel to Parappa the Rapper, it stars a Lamb, and it now has rock beats instead of rap. Gee, this is a tough one. OH WAIT, the title says Um Jammer Lammy, so I guess that our game huh? (long silence). Oh, let just go to the review.

Eye-candy/9: Hmm, 2-d characters in a 3-d world. Not a bad combination (hey it work for Marvel vs Capcom 2). But really, the graphics do look like your normal Saturday morning wake up call and it work out just fine.

Nosie/10: The real core of the game. Lammy retains it charm that it got from Parappa. Rock, pop, heavy metal, and even a little rap are what await when you start the game. And the voice-acting sound very cartoony and worth listeing to. Be careful, you might get some of the song stuck in your head.

Skinny/8: Lammy is the star guiterist of her call Milk Can. But when she wakes up after a strage dream, she finds she only has 15 mintues before her gig starts. As see makes her way to the gig, however, she runs into a lot of problems and must play different objects as a guiter to order to keep moving. The story is really funny and ..well you just gotta see it for yourself.

Core/9: If you play Parappa, then Lammy is no different. You play as Lammy (or Rammy or Parappa later in the game.) and must play Simon-says like with the singer (or the teacher) and must stay on beat. Get it right and you may go to cool and play free-style. Get it wrong and the song starts to go bad. Once you finish the game, you can play two-player coopertive mode (play together with a friend or COM). Competivte mode (play against friend or COM). Or play the game as Parapper with rap beats instead of rock. There so many modes, you'll keep Lammy spinning in your Playstation for a long time.

All in all: Um Jammer Lammy is a great sequel to it predecesser, Parapper the Rapper, and worth it ot the of the game or gene to check it out. Until then, this is Funk Punk saying ''If I don't get this song out of my head, am going to grab a baseball bat and go a for nice long nap.'' Later.
