"The most godawful piece of crap I have EVER played. And I've played Hydlide."

I attempted to write a FAQ for this game. As you know if you clicked on the ''FAQ Bounty'' feature, a Casper FAQ has a fifty dollar EB gift certificate reward on its' head. So I make a list of the games on the Bounty list, and Casper is the only one I can find. SO I rent it, and prepare to make a FAQ. I thought, hey, maybe it'll be kind of kiddy, but it can't be THAT bad...

I was so, so wrong.

Casper is without a doubt the worst video game I've ever played. Worse than Hydlide. Worse than Superman. I've never played the infamous Deadly Towers, but I'll bet it's even worse than that.

I gave up. Fifty dollars of free electronics was not worth playing this...this *abomination* through to the end.

GRAPHICS: 1

Maybe they were OK for when the game came out, but after you stare at Caspers' grotesquely smiling visage for a few hours, you'll be wishing for the graphic splendor of Super Mario Brothers.

MUSIC: 1

If you can hear, you will hate this game.

GAMEPLAY: 1

This could have been a semi-decent game if it had at least had some action in it. But no. There are no enemies, just six bosses, all of whom are ''trick'' bosses. Like the Soul Reaver bosses but..actually, they were nothing at all like the Soul Reaver bosses. Forget I said that.

All you do is wander around the mansion looking for puzzle pieces and keys, occasionally having to fight one of your uncles. Whee.

CHALLENGE: 1

You'd think a game where you look for hundreds of items would be challenging. And it is in a way, but there are no real lasting challenges. Just explore some more, and the answers will be right there. It's more frustrating than anything else.

FUN: 1

Now if there were a ''pain'' rating, this score'd be off the charts.

Buy or Rent?

Neither. Don't buy it, don't rent it, just burn it! Burn it and send it to Hell!!!
