"Move over E.T. The Mummy has taken your crown"

Story You collect three pieces to the book of the dead and bring the mummy back to life and now you have to stop it. This story doesn't have much in common with the movie. The story is boring and dumb. They should have just kept the movies story and events in place instead of changing almost everything. Like in the movie Benny doesn't die till the end, in the game he dies after the 4TH stage and Rick is the person that kills him. I give story a 3/10

Controls
The game uses the Tomb Raider controls but gets them all wrong. Moving around is hard cause of how stiff the control is. There isn't a button to move back through your weapon selection instead of just having a button that moves forward through the list. Running and jumping is hard cause the main character walks like something is shoved up his butt. I give control a 2/10

Voice Acting, Sound Effects and Music
The game doesn't use the voices from the movie just in the opening movie and ending movie. The voice acting during the game is horrible and doesn't even fit the characters. Sound Effects are average and need some work. Music is good at first but gets annoying since its the same music on every stage. I give voice acting, sound effects and music a 1/10

Game Play
Its like an arcade version of Tomb Raider. Run around shooting mummies, ghosts and scarabs. Jumping over gaps is VERY hard cause the main character jumps WAY to far so you sometimes have to stand back to make a simple jump. You can't grab edges when you jump across gaps. The game is A LOT of glitches, like when spikes come through the floor sometimes you can walk on them. This game crashes so many times it isn't funny. Took me 30 trys on some stages cause the game would always freeze. I give game play a 1/10

Replay Value
The first 2 stages are fun and boss stages are also kinda fun. All the other stages suck cause of glitches. There is no reason to play this game after beating it and that is IF you can beat it since it freezes all the time. I give replay value a 0/10

This is by far one of the worst games I've ever played. It actually made me sick with it's frame rate and I regret asking for it for Christmas that year.

Final Score
I give The Mummy a 1/10
