"Maybe the most addictive game ever"

I only played the first Tony Hawk's about 6 weeks before the second came out as I had wrote it off as just being a crappy skateboarding game, but I was forced into playing it during a drunken night at a friends house, and boy I wasn't dissapointed. So when I saw the sequel in the shop I knew that I just had to buy it. And I am glad I did, this game just reeks of awesomeness *high five*.

Tony Hawk's 2 is just so addictive that you will play it until the early hours of the morning just to pull off a fantatsic combo and then watch it on replay and amaze yourself at how good it is. Another part that makes the game all the more addictive is the Create a player and Create a park options. Creating your own player is definitely one of the greatest parts of a game nowadays, after it came to attention after the mass of wrestling games with the same option, and I for one am glad about it. I just love trying to create a player to look like me as I always tend to make him look a lot fitter than me, and I can make myself talented at whatever the game is about. So being able to make myself and then go through the game with all of the greatest moves and specials is a vast amount of fun.

The create a park mode can be quite time consuming, but it is fun nonetheless. You can make your own transfers and give them whatever names you wish (there's nothing funnier than putting swear words in a game, I am so immature). An being able to set up pieces for whatever combos you have in mind always makes your own parks seem that bit better.

The specials also seem a lot easier to do than in the first one, and that is a good thing, and it is easier to pull off bigger, more impressive, combos than before.

There are only two problems with the game, one is that there still aren't enough normal parks to skate around, and the second is that Rage Against The Machine provide music for it, but I can press nute on my TV, so that doesn't matter that much. One of the biggest plus points is the secret characters, there is the return of Officer Dick, and the fantastic inclusion of another Activision licensed character, who is also one of the coolest people ever.

All in all, a must buy.
