Final Fantasy Anthology

"OK I guess.....If you like long RPG's."

Well I can now say I wasted my time on Final Fantasy 5. I guess Final Fantasy 6 was good and that's why it got a seven. No don't get me wrong-I'm not one of those people that like ONLY eye candy. I prefer any RPG's as long as they're good. Now let me begin the actual review.....

Gameplay:-
The gameplay is OK in Final Fantasy 5. Sometimes however it can be a real drag. For example when you're fighting through a dungeon (or on the world map) you'll get into battles every few steps. Now don't get me wrong-I like RPG battles but when you're going to some far away place do you want to fight that many battles? It depends-do you like the system. In my case it was ok. There were some real cheap moves that could kill anyone though. Also, should you want to get every single item you'd have to start over if you missed ONE ITEM!! There was some dumb man who told you everything so you wouldn't be able to get it all done before at leat playing the game through 5 times! B.o.r.i.n.g! Even after 10 times it always said 99%!Not 100! Very annoying. That's why I gave up on this game. I won't mention them as that would count as a spoiler. However, in towns and cities the game was fun because there was a lot to do. Just think of Final Fantasy 1. It's kind of like that. Now on to Final Fantasy 6-I loved the gameplay! The battles were fun, the music was great and most of all you didn't fight every one step. Another great fact in Final Fantasy 6- You could get a ton- and I do mean a ton of characters! If you love gameplay go out and buy this game now!

Story:-
The story in Final Fantasy 5 is fairly straight forward with no plot twists. There are some Very_Very_very Stupid things in Final Fantasy 5. One to do with Faris (Look on the back of the box for picture in battle)!! It made me quit playing the game for a month! Take my advice-you'll need to play this game in small doces til you get to half way through it. Now on to Final Fantasy 6. The story Was good. A rebellion against an empire. Then everything gets better and better and better! The story here is just too good. I won't tell you it as that would be a spoiler. If you like story Line the most go out and buy this game.

Sound and Graphics:-
Lets face it-Final Fantasy 5 & 6 were made years ago. Graphics were limited at that point. Though limited they can be seen. Trees are trees. It's OK. If you really like Graphics(I mean a LOT) you won't be too impressed. But the sound makes up for it! Music in FF5 was good. There was only one music I HATED! THat was a music near the end that kept on GOING AND GOING in a bad tune! I hated that. But other than that it was good. Music in Final Fantasy 6. Great, excellent, The Best, all of them. Boss music was THE BEST! Regular battle music was VERY, VERY good! If you like music pick this game up today!

Replay Value:-
Good. IF You have VERY, VERY, VERY good patience. this goes for FF5. It can be really annoying at times. You'd have to love it tquests. Basically he first time to play it again. In Final Fantasy 6 there were a lot of side one for each character(there are A LOT of characters). I really can't say a lot for Replay Value as it would spoil the game for you and I'm sure you wouldn't want that. I'll just end this quick:- If you need a long RPG and have a lot of patience get this.

Buy or Rent:-
Rent first. It's a good way to see if the game is right for you. Try to borrow it from a friend if you can't get it from a rental store. If all else fails go out and buy it.
