"Best American Released Wrasslin game for the PS...EVEN NOW!"

Yes what you are seeing is true, a perfect 10. Why you may ask? It may not be perfect, it may not be fun for everyone, but it beats the pants off of all these other games. Yes, I think it's even better than Attitude and Smackdown.

GRAPHICS - 7
Hmmm....it's been out for a while but it still has really nice graphics. They are smooth for the most part, no blockiness, which gives the moves a really nice look. But, there is some definite collision and times where you can see through stuff. That doesn't affect the game all that much though.

SOUND - 9
The sound is quite good. From the great announcing job to the wrestlers music it is all nicely converted onto the Playstation disc.

CONTROL - 8
If you like pushing buttons then you'll love this control system, but if you're too addicted to those single pushes to pull off everything than avoid this game at all costs. Unlike Attitude, almost any double push you do will make you do a move so there isn't a lot of memorizing to do when it comes to this. The only memorizing is on the finishers which is different for all wrestlers.

CUSTOM WRESTLER - 5
Come on, it was the first WWF game to ever have a custom wrestler option but it still gives you some major options to work with. If you are trying to create yourself though, look for Attitude (Facially it's better than Smackdown II).

RING ENTRANCES - 8
Nothing flashy and nothing too overly special. But after seeing the sad looking entrances in all the other games it seems simple is sweet. The only real downer is that the entrances are only in Challenge mode.

OVERALL - 10
You will spend hours on end (if you don't cheat) unlocking all of the special secrets through Challenge and making the best created wrestler you can. If you enjoy a good challenge and a lot of moves per wrestler, then WWF Warzone is the game for you.

Oh, and since my review only has 332 words at the moment allow me to point out that Warzone probably has the most realistic challenge of any wrestling game. Kane is harder to take out than others but is also slower, same with the Undertaker. Smaller guys are weaker but faster and theres nothing like pulling off Thrashers finisher in this game. Not only is this nostalgic but still extremely fun. BUY IT NOW or rebuy it if you sold it and forgot if it was worth the 5 bucks...
