Parasite Eve II

"AYA IS HOT!!! But the game isn't."

I can remember the days when i was waiting for this sequel to come out... and boy, I sure wasted my time... This game is Squares' second shot with the ''cinematic RPG'' style thing on the PS. Its not bad, but I was kinda disapointed cause i was hoping for more from SQUARESOFT. Sigh.....

The sequel to Parasite Eve(which is LONG ago)was pretty much like the Resident evil series. except that the main character is hotter with a whole new story!

Story- 7/10 Good story, with out giving out to much of the game, you basically control a hot babe to kill monsters and more. but it was kinda too light for an RPG.

Gameplay- 8/10 Good game play. You fight while in the same area of the place you are walking on. and you can escape through any exits thats in the area. The magic system is pretty cool too with 16 PE spells

Controls-5/10 coulda used ALOT more work in battle mode. THe problem with the controls is that once you auto aim at something, It gets kinda messed up to move around unless you kill the thing first. Its a pain to explain, play it and you'll get my point instantly.

Audio- 7/10 average, nothing that interesting, but still quite good. I was expecting more from Square

Video- 9/10 yeap, Squaresoft always have the best graphics, hot characters, and good Rpgs. the CG were absolutely stunning. cut scenes were also very interesting.

Replayability- YEA! of course. Secret power ups every time you beat the game and many different modes thats hard as hell to keep you busy for nights.

Buy or Rent- I'm not sure... it depends on you. some might enjoy it and some might not. If you like the RE series, then you might like it... If you're not so sure, Rent it.

1 month- trying to suck out all the secrets and stuff
